According To Trip Lee, Pantheist Steven Hawking Has It Twisted

Posted by Job on September 14, 2010

Now in your opinion, who is smarter? Steven Hawking, the brilliant world-renowned physicist/cosmologist/mathematician? Or Trip Lee, the rapper from the inner city? Being someone who has struggled mightily with physics and mathematics (thermodynamics, mechanics, electromagnetism, differential equations, LaPlace and Z transforms, aaargh!) it is tempting to side with the physicist, who clearly has a form of knowledge based on both his God-given intellectual capacity and his vigorous dedication to studying the natural world. But I believe that I will side with Trip Lee. Why? Because where Hawking is clearly advanced in his knowledge of things that are natural, being a born-again Christian, the rapper Trip Lee has knowledge of spiritual things. Whether Lee has a Ph.D. or preschool diploma in spiritual things does not matter. The point is that Lee and Christians like him have accepted enough spiritual knowledge to be saved from sin through Jesus Christ and as a result will be with Him in New Jerusalem for eternity. So, whatever knowledge that Lee has, it is thoroughly adequate and exceedingly useful where it really counts. As for the esteemed Mr. Hawking, unless he repents of his sins and acquires the knowledge of spiritual things that are only revealed to those that are under submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the truth is that he will spend an eternity separated from Jesus Christ burning in a lake of fire. Thus, his great intellect, dedicated study, and many accomplishments will have been of no practical, lasting use to him. With respect to eternity, it will be vain, to no effect, and it would have been better for him had he never been born (Matthew 26:24).

In stating “God may exist, but science can explain the universe without the need for a creator“, this Hawking embraces the knowledge of the world in place and instead of the foolishness of the cross (1 Corinthians 1:18). He thereby despises casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Actually, it goes deeper than that. We know from Romans 1:18-32 that Hawking should have learned enough about God from his pursuit of studying what general revelation reveals about God’s existence and attributes in order to worship Him. But instead, Hawking rejected the knowledge of God available to him in general revelation, and neither did Hawking honor God as God or give Him thanks, but instead Hawking worships the creature in place of the Creator. Thus, Hawking is now doing things which are not convenient, which includes denying what general revelation taught Him about God’s existence and attributes, and thereby becoming a blasphemer. God chooses the foolishness of the world to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27), which of course makes those who profess themselves as wise to be so in their own eyes only, and instead become fools because of the foolishness of their darkened hearts.

And let us not be deceived … Hawking is worshiping the creature instead of the Creator. By claiming that the universe created itself from nothing, Hawking aligns himself with the religion of metaphysical naturalism, which truthfully is nothing but pantheism with a scientific veneer or exterior. By claiming that the universe created itself, Hawking is stating that the universe itself is god. Or, since Hawking refuses to deny the existence of God and therefore be an atheist or even an agnostic in the classic sense, Hawking is a henotheist (think Mormonism) in that while he does not deny the existence of another god or gods, there is only one god that Hawking is concerned with and therefore worships, and that is the god of the universe, the natural world. Because let us be honest, people. In order to create, one must have the A) power and B) will to create (and not only that but to do so ex nihilo).. Also, after one has exercised this A) power and B) will in accomplishing creation, that entity, that one, is C) lord, ruler, master, or owner of that creation. So, the universe had power within itself, will within itself (self-will) and is lord over itself. It relies on nothing, is sustained by nothing, needs nothing, and answers to nothing. If that is not a description of a god, then what is?

Now Hawking himself would deny that statement because Hawking subscribes to an epistemology that emphasizes randomness, spontaneity. So, he would say that the universe’s creating itself was not an act that required the exertion of power controlled by a conscious will, but instead was only a random, spontaneous event. Just as it is possible for matter and energy to form itself out of nothing, but it was also possible for laws and organization to form themselves out of chaos, and ultimately for consciousness and intelligence to similarly develop. But, in the words of Trip Lee’s rap song below, Hawking “has it twisted” because Hawking’s religion makes the universe his lord and the chaos that he claims has arranged itself into order his master. And of course, who does the Bible call Hawking’s master, which is the author of the confusion and chaos that Hawking claims that the universe organized itself from? Revelation 9:11 tells us! “And they had a king over them, [which is] the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue [is] Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath [his] name Apollyon.”

Do not get it twisted. You have a Creator. One day, every knee shall bow and tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. Submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ today so that your Lord will also become your Savior. Do not let Steven Hawking – despite his many accomplishments and great intellectual gifts – be your role model, for (unless he changes as I did when I renounced my own atheism) his eternal fate makes him an unsuitable one. Instead,

Follow The Three Step Salvation Plan

The Strange Religious Direction That Quantum Physics Is Taking

Posted by Job on October 15, 2009

From the Huffington Post:

And in the modern world, with the strange and inexplicable discoveries of quantum physics, scientific treatises on the nature of reality sound remarkably like ancient mystical writings. The more we learn about the shocking contradictions and improbable mechanics of the subatomic world, the more it appears that the universe is less like Isaac Newton’s giant clock and more like one giant dream, imagined from within an implicate order that transcends human reason. Such a vision would be familiar to the Sufis of Islam, along with their counterparts among Buddhist masters, Kabbalists and Christian mystics like Meister Eckhart.

So, Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, and “Christian” mystics all agree on this stuff. Fascinating. In addition, the “dreamtime” religious myths of Australian aborigines can be compared to this also. (Incidentally, Kabbalist means Jewish, as Kabbalism is part and parcel to the accepted Jewish religion. Kabbalism is in no way pseudo-Jewish cultism. Instead, esoteric knowledge and magic are all over Judaism, and is the acknowledged but seldom spoken of underpinnings of the Talmud and other rabbinic Jewish books. Kabbalah, which at best is a syncretism between some elements of the Hebrew religion and the Babylonian pagan mystery religions and is more likely the Babylonian mystery religion in Jewish guise, can be considered “higher Judaism.” Jews are encouraged to master the Talmud and the other books first, and the brightest and most devoted then go on to study Kabbalah. From a Jewish website: Kabbalah is also part of the Oral law. It is the traditional mystical understanding of the Torah. Kabbalah stresses the reasons and understanding of the commandments, and the cause of events described in the Torah. Kabbalah includes the understanding of the spiritual spheres in creation, and the rules and ways by which G-d administers the existence of the universe. More information that “Christian Zionist” preachers and leaders never tell the laymen, though they certainly know about it. So, we should not be surprised that Kabbalists and Muslims agree on this topic, because it is “knowledge” that not only spiritually but also quite literally has the same origin.)

This also seems to correlate to the religious worldview pushed by people such as Dan Brown and George Lucas (theosophy and New Age sorts), where knowledge (or more accurately consciousness), matter and energy themselves are worshiped as god. Reminds me of a couple of articles I read (see below). One world religion anybody? The interesting thing is that this religio-scientific worldview very much accommodates evolution, the big bang theory and similar. As a matter of fact, the article points out that believers in this worldview include Francis Collins, the current director of the National Institutes of Health (Barack Hussein Obama appointee). Despite his belief in and advocacy for evolution, Collins is considered to be an evangelical Christian (and is indeed embraced as one by evangelicals desperate to see one of their own ranks represented in mainstream culture, especially in the elite academic, scientific and government arenas, and Collins represents all three), and is working to get evangelical Christians to abandon their opposition to evolution. I should point out that in this Francis is far from alone, as not a few Anglican evangelical theologians, including Alister McGrath, have been trying to get evangelicals to submit to evolution for decades. And incidentally, you should know that the Roman Catholic Church, with its long history of mysticism, is slowly accommodating evolution as well. Again, one world religion maybe, perhaps?

Who’s Afraid Of The Large Hadron Collider?

Posted by Job on June 30, 2008

I must admit: I am not. One of the things that fascinated me was how this potential doomsday device only cost $5.8 billion to build. That is like what George W. Bush’s corporate buddies steal in Iraq and Afghanistan in a typical week.

Some fear debut of powerful atom-smasher

David Francis, a physicist on the collider’s huge ATLAS particle detector, smiled when asked whether he worried about black holes and hypothetical killer particles known as strangelets.

In rebutting doomsday scenarios, CERN scientists point out that cosmic rays have been bombarding the earth, and triggering collisions similar to those planned for the collider, since the solar system formed 4.5 billion years ago. And so far, Earth has survived. “The LHC is only going to reproduce what nature does every second, what it has been doing for billions of years,” said John Ellis, a British theoretical physicist at CERN.

The physicist Martin Rees has estimated the chance of an accelerator producing a global catastrophe at one in 50 million — long odds, to be sure, but about the same as winning some lotteries. (But what about, you know, a catastrophe that is not GLOBAL but just, well, citywide? Or what about a few inner city blocks like that terrible Keanu Reeves/Morgan Freeman movie “Cold Fusion”? Does that knock the odds down a bit from 1 in 50 million to 1 in 500,000? 1 in 50,000? Just kidding …)

Both may produce micro black holes, subatomic versions of cosmic black holes — collapsed stars whose gravity fields are so powerful that they can suck in planets and other stars. But micro black holes produced by cosmic ray collisions would likely be traveling so fast they would pass harmlessly through the earth. Micro black holes produced by a collider, the skeptics theorize, would move more slowly and might be trapped inside the earth’s gravitational field — and eventually threaten the planet. (I would be more concerned about the threat posed by slow moving manmade micro black holes if ever any evidence were produced that the FAST MOVING NATURAL micro black holes existed.)

As for strangelets, CERN scientists point out that they have never been proven to exist. (Like the theory of evolution?) They said that even if these particles formed inside the Collider they would quickly break down. (Like the theory of evolution breaks down? Another issue for another day.)

I have to admit: I have no problem building supercolliders. I am a 100% pro – basic science guy. I would rather spend $5.8 billion on basic science than on wars and “destroy the low income family structure” social programs. I know that supporting such is harmful to my libertarian principles, but I propose that had George H. W. Bush not killed a similar supercollider project because of a budget crunch THAT HE CREATED WHEN WE INVADED IRAQ THE FIRST TIME AND THE MONEY THAT WE USED TO PROP UP SADDAM HUSSEIN’S REGIME TO FIGHT A WAR WITH IRAN THAT KILLED ALMOST A MILLION PEOPLE (I suppose it isn’t very nice to talk about things like that!) we would be a lot further along in things like, oh, I don’t know, alternative and renewable energy technology, not to mention medical research.

Each year the detectors will generate 15 petabytes of data, the equivalent of a stack of CDs 12 miles tall. The data will require a high speed global network of computers for analysis. Now THAT strikes me as more frightening than the large hadron collider. These subatomic particles that have never been proven to exist do not concern me. Global computer networks capable of tracking your every move do.

Wagner and others filed a lawsuit to halt operation of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, or RHIC, at the Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York state in 1999. The courts dismissed the suit. So … these fellows have cried wolf in the past, eh? Just like the media to use the “threat” of bosons, gluons, strange quarks, etc. to scare people while just making the REAL issue … the potential of global monitoring your movements, conversations, financial transactions, etc. a sidebar. Please note that Barack Obama has come out in support of new world order globalists that back FISA, which would allow the government to spy on your phone conversations (sorry for the ACLU link, but all of the “Christian” links that I found on FISA were from people who just loves themselves some “all Christians worship the same God” George W. Bush).

So I say “yes” to the large hadron collider but NO to FISA and the Patriot Act in general. After all, it won’t be the large hadron collider used to prevent those who refuse to worship the anti – Christ from buying and selling …
