The Anti – Christ Mindset Loves Animals More Than People: Outrage Over Soldier Killing DOG

Posted by Job on March 4, 2008

No one cares about children dying in stories like this (see commentary!) but kill a dumb animal like in this story or in the Michael Vick case and THAT is what sparks outrage! The total evil depravity of the modern mindset is ever more proof that the world needs Jesus Christ, that people need Jesus Christ so that the love of God can transform their minds so that they can once again start loving PEOPLE, including INNOCENT CHILDREN! If you have not done so already, please accept Jesus Christ as your Savior by following The Three Step Salvation Plan so that you can begin to feel love again today! If you do not love your fellow man you cannot love God, and all that reject God will be punished by Him in everlasting fire! So there is more at stake here than the pain of dumb animals here (and yes, I oppose animal cruelty, the Bible clearly calls it a sin!). It is about your eternal soul. Satan wants to get you so wrapped up into the fate of animals and other trivial things that you will reject the urgent need to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ! Please do not fall for his devices!

Video Appears To Show Marine Abusing Puppy

(CNN) — The military is investigating a “shocking and deplorable” YouTube video that seems to show a Marine throwing a puppy off a rocky cliff. YouTube.com removed the video for violating the Web site’s terms of use. The black-and-white puppy makes a yelping sound as it flies through the air.

“That’s mean, that was mean,” one companion says off-camera, addressing the alleged puppy thrower by his last name. The fate of the animal is not known. The Marine is identified on the video and in other Internet postings as a lance corporal stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe. It’s not clear where the video was shot, although the man who appears to throw the puppy and another Marine are in full combat gear with helmets. YouTube.com had taken down the video by 12:30 p.m. ET Tuesday “due to terms of use violation,” according to a banner on the Web site.

“This is a shocking and deplorable video that is contrary to the high standards that we set for every Marine,” Marine Corps spokesman Maj. Chris Perrine said at a news conference Monday night. “We will investigate this and take appropriate actions,” Perrine said. He said the Marine is being kept safe in view of the anger over the alleged incident.

Perrine added that the majority of Marines conduct themselves honorably. “There are many examples of Marines who adopt pets and bring them back from Iraq and demonstrate their compassion on a daily basis,” he said. If the video is deemed legitimate, the lance corporal could face a charge of conduct unbecoming a Marine, Perrine said. There could be administrative action, nonjudicial punishment or a court-martial, he added.

“It’s all governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and anything from reduction in pay to reduction in rank to confinement to discharge from the Marine Corps” is possible, Perrine said. If others are involved, they too will be disciplined, he said. “Certainly, there’s a lot of outrage, and a lot of people are upset about it. I think every Marine is upset about this video,” he said. “We hope that it turns out not to be what it looks like.”

Christianity And The World: The Early Church And Now

Posted by Job on November 12, 2007

Why was the early church so hated and persecuted? According Roman historian Tacitus, they were accused of hating humanity. Why? Because Christians abstained from virtually all secular social activities: the theatre, the military, the universities, sporting events, and civil ceremonies. Why? Because all of those things were – to various degrees of overtness and explicitness – associated with idolatry and paganism. For instance, the mithraism cult was very strong in the military (which many Christians also rejected because they felt the message of Jesus Christ mandated pacifism). Sacrifices and vows were made to the gods in civil ceremonies and government proceedings. Christians also rejected the study of classical literature because it glorified the Greco – Roman gods and pervasive immorality, and so did the theatre and the arts.

Not only did participating in some of these activities require explicitly worshiping other gods, but even those that did not require direct participation in idol ceremony were still events and gatherings dedicated to other gods, so Christians felt that by their very presence and participation they were still glorifying idolatry and sin even if only indirectly.

Let us consider an example. It is not sufficient to consider that Christians of the time only objected to going to a theatre performance because it DEPICTED Zeus, Jupiter, Neptune, etc. or those worshiping them. Instead, realize that the Greco – Roman culture of the time had “a goddess of the arts and theatre” (i.e. Minerva/Athena). As such, in that culture, the very act of putting on a public theatre and arts performance was done in worship of Athena. So, going to the theatre was seen as a way of worshiping Athena and supporting those that worshiped this false goddess. The same was true for virtually every other social activity, because, well, in a pagan/pantheistic culture, every activity is going to have a god or goddess associated with it.

As such, attitude of most – but not all – of the early church was that being a Christian required a sole worship of God, and that any deviation from that commitment would be a public denial of Jesus Christ, who in turn on judgment day would deny the apostate. Again, practical effect of this doctrine in their place and time was to abstain from virtually all activities that they knew was associated with paganism, which basically was all public activities.

Keep in mind, this was not merely the apostolic church that may not have had access to Paul’s writings i.e. 1 Corinthians, but this continued into the fourth century and was a major reason why 3 million Christians died as a result of persecution! So was the early church wrong? If so, why? Whether they were wrong or not, what meaning does this have for the modern church? I do not know about you, but after encountering this bit of information, I cannot help but ponder the fact that my favorite sports team JUST HAPPENS to be named the Tennessee TITANS. The titans, lest we forget, take their name from Greek false gods.

Study: Mentally Ill People Make Better Soldiers

Posted by Job on September 3, 2007

See link from the worst newspaper in the country: ajc.com/search/content/metro/stories/2007/09/03/recruitbox_0903.html Of course, the angle here is that if you are building a fascist state that needs a large underclass whose members will pretty much have to join the military in order to have any chance at bettering themselves … well let us just say that America has been doing an excellent job of doing so, especially since we ended the draft. This finding: “Army recruits who were emotionally neglected as children and who had lived stress-filled lives were more likely to complete basic training” tells it all. Break up families with socially liberal attitudes and policies promoted not only through the government but also the educational system and news and entertainment media, where every anti – family abomination is normalized and glamorized while people who actually try to live a lifestyle that is conducive to producing healthy happy Christian children with clean minds are mocked (they are now even calling attempts to prevent your children from having premarital sex while living under your roof “child abuse” and what have you). And destabilize the economy with terrible fiscal policies, a failing education system, free trade agreements with third world countries, fighting nonsense wars (which also destabilizes families … I suppose you haven’t heard about how shipping the husband or wife off to Iraq for years at a time leads to divorces and such … Star Jones’ claim to fame was prosecuting this woman who left her husband for another man while he was off fighting the first Iraq War and having him killed for the insurance money when he returned), and allowing illegal (and legal) immigrants to flood our job market claiming that it is either work that Americans won’t do or are not trained to do (see the failing education system).

Of course, economic insecurity destabilizes also families … financial pressures are the leading cause of divorce. This is most true of the underclass, the same members of which oft joins the military because the factories have moved to third world countries, illegal immigrants are getting all of the construction/agriculture/light manufacturing/service jobs, and the money that they could use to train people to do high tech work is being spent on recruiting and sponsoring people on high tech visas. See how this goes in a circle? Almost makes you wonder if they designed this system on purpose. Destroy the middle class and people are going to be forced to join the army no matter what the military policy is. Oh yes, and opposition to capricious wars will always be blunted because the pro – war people will have the “it is an all – volunteer army … why are we even talking about casualties to begin with … didn’t these people KNOW that there was a possibility that they would have to fight a war when they joined?” The neo – cons just LOVE plying that line.

So, no wonder Colonel Richard Gonzalez, the person who did this study to begin with is now being attacked and discredited by the government for exposing how this same government has worked to create the very conditions that makes up our underclass (and therefore faceless and nameless) fighting force. After all, exploiting the poor is what evil people are all about, and you know people like this are not truly Christian, because the Bible speaks more against mistreating the poor than it does against sexual sin. See another article from the worst newspaper in the country: ajc.com/search/content/metro/stories/2007/09/02/recruitstudy_0903.html .

So the next time you see all of these flag – waving neo – conservative Christians talking about how much they “support the troops”, this is another thing that should make you stop and think once or thrice about their sincerity. Then again, if these Christians are sitting around watching Fox News all day instead of reading their Bibles (see Why Fox News Is Bad For Christianity), maybe they are just deceived and in need of our prayers so that their eyes may be opened.
