America’s Occult Past And Present From Joseph Smith To Joel Osteen!

Posted by Job on October 27, 2009

DUIN: Halloween spurs tales of the occult

Two key excerpts:

“Dubbed the Burned-Over District, the region was the perfect incubator for Mormon founder Joseph Smith, a well-known clairvoyant before his famous visions. His family owned magical charms, divining rods, amulets and other esoterica. “

Next …

“Plus, a lot of mystical subcultures have gone mainstream and have been Christianized. Mr. Horowitz did a brilliant job of tracking down how positive thinker Norman Vincent Peale borrowed his core self-help philosophy from a religious movement called New Thought.

“I listen to [megachurch preacher] Joel Osteen frequently on Sunday mornings,” the author said, “and he’s giving sermons that are discourses in positive thinking. He’s standing on the shoulders of an occult tradition.””

Further proof that no nation, America included, can be a “Christian nation” for “founded on Christianity” or “founded on Christian principles.” The road to destruction is easy and wide and has many entry points, but the road to heaven is narrow and rough and can only be entered by the cross of Jesus Christ!

Law Honoring Freemasonry Proposed To Congress

Bill honoring Freemasonry Introduced

Postby WCG777 on Wed Aug 20, 2008 12:19 pm

we cant honor the pastors or men of God but we can recognize satanist and the occult

 House Res. 33:
Recognizing the thousands of Freemasons
in every State in the Nation and honoring them for
their many contributions to the Nation throughout its history.

U.S. Representative and Brother Paul Gillmor submitted House Resolution 33 on January 5, 2007 to the 110th U.S. Congress. It was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. This resolution is the second such resolution submitted to Congress. It was submitted by Congressmen Gillmor in the last session of Congress, and also made its way to the House Committee on Government Reform. For the draft to make it to the house floor, it requires 50 co-sponsors. Last time, it only received 21 sponsors.

Congressman Paul Gillmor is currently serving in his tenth term representing the Fifth Congressional District of Ohio. His district of 16 counties is the second largest district in Ohio and is actually larger than the States of Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He serves on one of the most powerful committees in Congress, the Financial Services Committee where he is the top Republican on the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit. Bro. Gillmor was also unanimously elected in 2006 by representatives of the 26 NATO countries to serves as Vice President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Prior to his election to Congress, Gillmor served in the Ohio Senate for twenty-two years.  As a State Senator, he was unanimously elected Republican leader five times, and served as President of the Senate for three General Assemblies.  Paul is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Michigan Law School.  He attained the rank of Captain while on active duty as an Air Force Judge Advocate during the Vietnam Conflict. At home in Tiffin, Ohio, Paul is married to former Ohio State Senator Karen Gillmor and has two daughters, Linda and Julie, and three sons, Paul Michael, and twins Connor and Adam.

 The resolution reads:

Recognizing the thousands of Freemasons in every State in the Nation and honoring them for their many contributions to the Nation throughout its history.

Whereas Freemasons, whose long lineage extends back to before the Nation’s founding, have set an example of high moral standards and charity for all people;

Whereas the Founding Fathers of this great Nation and signers of the Constitution, most of whom were Freemasons, provided a well-rounded basis for developing themselves and others into valuable citizens of the United States;

Whereas members of the Masonic Fraternity, both individually and as an organization, continue to make invaluable charitable contributions of service to the United States;

Whereas the Masonic Fraternity continues to provide for the charitable relief and education of the citizens of the United States;

Whereas the Masonic Fraternity is deserving of formal recognition of their long history of care-giving for the citizenry and their example of high moral standards; and

Whereas Freemasons have always revered and celebrated St. John’s Day, June 24th, as dedicated to their patron saints: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the House of Representatives recognizes the thousands of Freemasons in every State in the Nation and honors them for their many contributions to the Nation throughout its history.

Statue Of Liberty: Roman Goddess LIBERTAS, Babylonian Ishtar (EASTER), Also SEMIRAMIS, ISIS, JUNO!

From a wicca site:

Still feel like pledging allegiance to the flag, Christians? Or supporting the religious right agenda of compulsive religious observance (school prayer, public religious displays, “war on Christmas” combatants, and oh intelligent design) to some ecumenical homogenized undefined unknown god (Acts 17:23) that you will be legally required to worship but also legally forbidden to call upon his name? Well I ask you … where do you want to take your mark? On your right hand or on your forehead?

The Real Truth About Seeker Sensitive Churches (And The Osmond Family)

Posted by Job on November 8, 2007

*My note: good to see Bill Keller, who is extremely reticent to criticize Christian ministers on anything other than sex or financial scandals, go after Rick Warren.

(Ephesians 5:23, Colossians 1:18)

***THE COLD HARD REALITY OF WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT! YOU EITHER BELIEVE THE BIBLE OR YOU DON’T! George Osmond, father of Donnie and Marie Osmond and patriarch to the family’s singing group The Osmond Brothers, died Tuesday.
He was 90. Donnie said he bet his Mom and Dad were “having a great reunion”
and that because of his family’s faith, he knows that “they will all be together again”. Sadly, George Osmond and his wife are having a reunion, in hell. As someone who grew up loving the Osmonds music , sadly that is the same place Donnie, Marie, the rest of their family will be having their reunion unless they turn from the lies of the Mormon cult and to faith in the Jesus of the Bible. Many will be upset I had the audacity to say this,
but IT IS THE TRUTH! THIS IS NOT A GAME! THIS IS ABOUT THE ETERNAL SOULS OF MEN! The Bible clearly states that those who die without Jesus will be
forever lost and separated from God their Creator. As a temple Mormon, George Osmond believed upon death he would become the god of his own planet, but at the moment he took his last breath he sadly found out Joey Smith was a false prophet, he had bought into a lie from satan, and instead of a planet full of women waiting to have sex with him, all he will have for eternity is the punishment of hell. Pray for the Osmond family during this time of loss, and that they will turn from the lies of the satanic cult they
are part of before they too die and end up in the same hell their parents
will occupy for all eternity!

***BILL KELLER ON FOX NEWS NEIL CAVUTO PROGRAM! Tuesday, I was on FOX News with Neil Cavuto discussing China banning Bibles during the upcoming
Olympics. This will be the subject of a Devotional early next week. To

***SALON.COM FEATURE ARTICLE: Yesterday, the popular liberal website did a feature article on my contention that Mitt Romney becoming
President will lead many souls to hell. They actually flew a reporter to my
office and we spent several hours discussing this issue. Here is a link to
that feature article:

***JUDAS UPDATE: Well, the latest “Judas” to sell out the Christian faith
and show a greater concern for political power than the souls of men by
endorsing satanic cult member Mitt Romney is Paul M. Weyrich Weyrich is the
founding president of the Heritage Foundation and a cofounder of the Moral
Majority and the man who many consider to be the father of the modern
religious conservative movement. In response to the growing backlash
against Romney, a wide variety of religious and political leaders, including
Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention and Romney supporters like
Rep. Tom Feeney of Florida, have publicly advised Romney not to discuss
theology on the campaign trail. How nice. Romney now has supposed Christian
leaders advising him how to fool Christians into voting for him. *BREAKING
NEWS!!! Pat Robertson has endorsed avowed baby killer and supporter of gay
rights Rudy Giuliani. Yet another Christian leader who is obviously more
concerned with being close to the temporal power of man than standing for
God’s Word!

The real truth about “seeker” churches. This is an issue I have dealt with
numerous times over the years, but in light of a comprehensive new report
that has just came out and the questions I get daily about “seeker”
churches, let me address it in greater detail today. I was fortunate to
have started my public ministry in 1992 in the great city of Chicago. Of
course, the Chicago suburban Barrington is the home of the first high
profile “seeker” church, Willow Creek. So I was in Chicago as Willow Creek
was starting out and actually spoke at a few of their functions in the early
90s. If you study the history of Willow Creek, it is a marvelous sovereign
move of God that was started in a movie theater and was geared to people who
didn’t attend church. It became a huge success due to the fact they were
reaching people the traditional church wasn’t, and bringing a relevant
message to people’s lives, another huge problem with many of the mainstream
denominational churches.

Let me say right up front, Willow Creek in suburban Chicago and Saddleback
in Orange County California are both amazing, sovereign moves of God’s Holy
Spirit that have impacted millions of lives and brought tens of thousands,
even hundreds of thousands of souls to faith in Jesus Christ. Pastor Bill
Hybels of Willow Creek and Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback are men who God
gave a great vision to, they obediently followed that vision, and the hand
of God has moved over their work and used them to reach millions of souls
who most likely would have never been reached. The fruit, the souls and
transformed lives, are the living testimonies of their ministry and the
great legacy they will leave when their work is complete and God calls them

As I have stated in the past, here are the three problems with these
“seeker” churches. The first is you can’t package, market, and sell a
sovereign move of God. God’s work is not a McDonalds hamburger franchise.
It simply doesn’t work that way. What God sovereignly does in one case,
doesn’t mean it will happen that way in another. As a matter of fact, just
plan on the fact it WON’T! What Willow Creek and Saddleback do in their
respective churches works because of the fact they are both such precious
and unique works of God’s Holy Spirit. Where they have both failed
miserably, is in trying to package, market, and sell “how to do church” to
other pastors and churches.

A pastor who has to try and copy someone else’s vision is lazy and has
failed God and those they serve! There is nothing wrong with learning from
other men and women of God, gaining wisdom and insight from others more
experienced who have successfully been shepherding God’s people, but to try
and duplicate another work of God is simply foolish. Each man has to invest
the time with the Lord and recieve his own vision. The reality is, the vast
majority of these churches that have tried to copy Willow Creek or
Saddleback have failed miserably. Some actually were successful in
attracting more people, but because you can’t duplicate the vision, the man
God called to receive and fulfill that vision, or all of the unique dynamics
of each situation, the increase in numbers never translated into spiritual

Listen to me carefully. The way the world keeps score is NOT the way God
keeps score! The world says a successful church has thousands of people,
takes in millions of dollars, and has state of the art facilities. The
world measures success by numbers, dollars, and real estate. God isn’t
impressed with how many people show up for service, but how many people are
sold out for Him! God isn’t impressed with how much money you raise, but
how many lives you are impacting with the money you raise. God isn’t
impressed with the buildings you build, but the lives you build. As we will
see later, a huge problem with the whole “seeker” church movement is that
its goal and emphasis is on sheer numbers, and not building solid men and
women of God.

The second problem with the “seeker” churches is that they do all of this
work to attract a large group of non-churched people, have this great
service, but never present the Gospel or give people a chance to get saved.
I know the comeback, that work is done in small groups. But many people
never go to the small groups. There is never a good excuse to have a group
of people in a Christian service of any kind and not give them the chance to
make a commitment of their heart and life to Jesus Christ. This might be
the only time they are ever in such a setting. This might be the one time
in their life their heart is open to hear the Truth about their eternal
soul. To fail to share the Gospel and extend an invitation for people to
accept Christ into their heart and life by faith makes all of the time and
effort to get them there in first place a wasted opportunity.

The third problem with the “seeker” churches is their premeditated and
designed plan to strip their church all of Christian identification. No
cross, no mention of church in their name, just a very non-descript building
that nobody would ever think was a church. I get the whole mindset that it
makes it more comfortable for people who are opposed to church and to the
things of God and makes it more inviting and less threatening to them. I’m
sorry, but you can’t trick people into following the Lord. You can’t play
the old bait and switch game with them. In this world we live in where the
government and culture is working non-stop to take God and Christianity out
of the public square, the one place we are allowed to proclaim Christ and
proudly display the cross and other symbols of our faith is AT OUR CHURCHES!
Now we have our own churches who purposely refuse to identify themselves as
a Christian church so they won’t “offend” someone.

My friend, I get the whole blueprint of easing a person into the faith, not
wanting them to run away before they hear the message, being aware of their
hang-ups and trying to work around them. But at some point, a person has to
hear they are a sinner, that they will die, and without Jesus they will end
one message, the Gospel. The church’s job is to evangelize, which is what
these “seeker” churches attempt to do, but it is also to help the saints
grow in their faith and equip them for service, and to provide a fellowship
for Believers to find the strength, comfort, prayers, and support of other
Believers as they go along life’s journey.

I love you and care about you so much. Over the years, I have watched over
2 dozen websites I know of try and duplicate with Liveprayer does on the
Internet, and all of them failed. I have been offered over $100,000 on
several occasions to “consult” with other websites and help them have the
same success in reaching people for Christ as Liveprayer has had for over 8
years now. A year ago, I was presented an opportunity by a man to make $1
million guaranteed, by offering Liveprayer franchises. These copycat
websites failed, I turned down the consulting offers and the franchise offer
because you can’t package, market, and sell a sovereign move of God. Nobody
knows as well as I do that Liveprayer is just that, a precious move of the
Holy Spirit that could never be duplicated.

Willow Creek just released the results of a multi-year study on the
effectiveness of their programs and philosophy of ministry. The study’s
findings are in a new book titled, ” Reveal: Where Are You?,” co-authored by
Cally Parkinson and Greg Hawkins, executive pastor of Willow Creek Community
Church. Hybels himself called the findings “earth shaking,” “ground
breaking” and “mind blowing.” The report reveals that most of what they
have been doing for these many years and what they have taught millions of
others to do is not producing solid disciples of Jesus Christ. Numbers yes,
but not disciples.

Hybels states, “Some of the stuff that we have put millions of dollars into
thinking it would really help our people grow and develop spiritually, when
the data actually came back it wasn’t helping people that much. Other things
that we didn’t put that much money into and didn’t put much staff against is
stuff our people are crying out for. We made a mistake. What we should have
done when people crossed the line of faith and become Christians, we should
have started telling people and teaching people that they have to take
responsibility to become ‘self feeders.’ We should have gotten people,
taught people, how to read their Bible between services, how to do the
spiritual practices much more aggressively on their own.”

The bottom line to these “seeker” churches is this. Willow Creek and
Saddleback are both incredible sovereign moves of God. They are great
visions given to great men of God who faithfully followed those visions and
have impacted millions of lives because of their faithfulness. The mistake
they have both made is in the packaging, marketing, and selling of their
vision to other pastors and churches. Even in their own churches it appears
that there are some serious issues in translating the vast numbers into men
and women of God who are growing in their faith and living surrendered
lives. So it is no wonder why these others churches who have tried to copy
and duplicate what they’ve done have failed.

There are no new ways to “do church.” There is no new way to bring people
to faith in Jesus Christ. There are TONS of ways to reach people, and we
need inspired men and women of God who seek Him for the vision in how to
reach the lost. But once you reach them, there is only one message they
need and that is the fact Jesus loves them, He died for their sins, and that
without a relationship with Christ they will die one day and spend eternity
in hell. That was the message of Jesus, it was the message of Paul, it has
been the message of all the great men and women of God thougout these last
2000 years, and will continue to be the only message that can transform the
hearts and lives of men until Christ returns and this world as we know it
comes to an end.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

God Removed From The Washington Monument: The Religious Right Is Either Blind Or In On It

Posted by Job on October 29, 2007

Now the latest “outrage” in the “culture wars” is some plaque that says LAUS DEO, or “praise be to God” is missing from the Washington Monument. Pastor Todd DuBord of Lake Almanor Community Church is doing the usual role of playing “deflect and distract from what is really going on out there and things of real spiritual value using nonsense that has no importance or relevance and spiritual value to discerning Christians” political operative.

I mean come on, people. Has this guy even SEEN the Washington Monument? If you have, you would know that the thing is a gigantic idol that has NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ or the Holy Trinity. So Laus Deo? Fine, but which deo … which god? Why, THE FALSE GOD OF FREEMASONRY. Either this Todd DuBord fellow is a freemason, or he has given himself over to the public religion of America idolatry patriotism that is thoroughly masonic in origin.

Someone needs to contact this Pastor DuBord fellow and ask him which side is he on. If he says “The Lord’s side”, he needs to be subsequently asked 1) which Lord and 2) are you sure. Because listen: the Bible makes it clear that Christians are not supposed to be building, worshiping, adorning, or in any respect paying attention to idols, which the Washington monument, a pyramid obelisk that not unlike the ziggurat that the people in the tower of Babel incident in Genesis was trying to build before God confused their language, incontrovertibly is one. Do they not have classes on occult symbols at seminaries and Bible colleges? (If not, why not? Maybe because they don’t want the people to know who is REALLY running our federally funded and regulated Bible colleges and seminaries and therefore they do not let the Christian pastors they are training know how to recognize their symbols? Hmmm …)

It is also fascinating that anyone that is a Christian pastor would not have taken the initiative to study these issues on their own. I mean, isn’t warning your congregation about this stuff IMPORTANT? Oh no, I forgot. All that’s important is registering your congregation to vote so that they can put a Republican freemason in the White House. I mean, it is VERY IMPORTANT to the spiritual direction of our country and its covenant with God (our nation REALLY does not have a covenant with God by the way, but that is just a triviality right?) that we elect Republican freemasons that lie about their stands on abortion and homosexuality over Democrat freemasons that tell the truth about it. Right?

Ugh. The truth is that one does not need an academic course or independent research to know that the Washington monument has nothing to do with Christianity. A four year old could tell you that the Washington monument looks more like an Egyptian pyramid (you know, the symbol that is on the back of every dollar bill … one of the reasons why I actually prefer to use electronic money to cash even though a great many preachers tell us that it will lead to the mark of the beast … hilarious the notion that a cashless system that will cause us to STOP carrying around and passing freemason money will be the mark of the beast as if the fact that you cannot buy or sell without money covered with freemason money is not the mark of the beast system already!) than a cross or menorah. These people aren’t taking God off the Washington monument, because the true God never had anything to do with that freemason idol that was erected to capture and concentrate spirit energy for that city (a ziggurat is sort of like “a spiritual antenna” … thumb through a new age book to see what I am talking about) in the first place. Anyone that would claim otherwise is either incredibly deceived or has an obvious agenda of deceiving others.

Using Tough Language From The Bible IS NOT Speaking In Hate!

Posted by Job on October 25, 2007

I have been accused of such from the very beginning of this weblog, including by other fundamentalist, evangelical, and charismatic Christian ministers! Now while I do recognize that the time, place, culture, and language of contemporary times is far removed from those both when the Bible was both written and translated (the speech, while more polished, was far less sensitive to people’s emotions back then in no large part because THE FIELD OF FREUDIAN PSYCHOLOGY AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT CAME OUT OF IT INCLUDING THE “SELF ESTEEM MOVEMENT” OR THE NOTION THAT YOU COULD “PSYCHOLOGICALLY SCAR PEOPLE WITH WORDS” DID NOT EXIST YET!), it cannot be ignored that if words describing the behavior of people, groups, cultures, and nations were true back then, they are still true today.

Further, if the confrontational approach employed by the Holy Spirit – inspired prophets of truth was appropriate and necessary back then, it is appropriate and necessary by those of us that are inspired to righteous action to stand against evil by the same Holy Spirit that speaks to US through those words today. Are people’s feelings going to get hurt? Of course. But do you honestly think that the apostles and prophets did not hurt feelings in their day? I would imagine that King David’s feelings were hurt when the prophet Nathan called him an adulterous murderer, and told him that his innocent child conceived in iniquity would die to pay the debt for David’s sins (making David’s baby that died, ironically, a forward prophetic type of Yeshua HaMashiach). So if what Nathan said about David was true and needed to be said back then, what brother IndependentConservative says about Juanita Bynum and Bishop Thomas Weeks III (disgusting and lust filled liars and whores … Weeks is not even a “III” but a Jr., but calls himself III because it sounds more distinguished!) is true and needs to be said today. Especially since unlike David, Bynum and Weeks have never at any time been people after God’s own heart or have aspired to be.

Also, we as Christians have to face facts: a lot of these people feigning indignation and hurt are doing just that – FAKING. They are just prideful people who do not want to be reminded of their sins, and do not want to face public scorn and ridicule for their sins. IndependentConservative has another great case in point: the hard core sex criminal Earl Paulk (whose deeds include incest: he is the father of his own nephew!), who when women began to come forward with allegations against him resorted to the very same “touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm” nonsense that many of you folks have come on here defending thieving adulterers and sex peddlers Paula and Randy White, the aforementioned Weeks and Bynum, oneness heretic and Council on Foreign Relations puppet TD Jakes, universalist Joel Osteen, apostate heretic Kenneth Copeland, and the many prominent preachers that JUST HAPPEN to be freemasons.

The truth hurts, people. But you know what is also true? WITHHOLDING THE TRUTH HURTS MORE. Because if you speak the truth, it will hurt the hearer of the truth, but the very point of that hurt is to bring Holy Spirit conviction on that person so that they will repent. When that happens, the Comforter will come and take the hurt away. But if you withhold the truth from them and they perish in their sins, then not only is their hurt immeasurably worse, but so is yours, for God will require their blood at your hands on judgment day. That is called “the burden of the prophet” which God spoke through Ezekiel at the prophets that were withholding the truth from the people during his day: the people that not only fail in but consciously reject their responsibility to be watchmen on the wall, Ezekiel clearly says that their penalty will be DEATH.

The New Testament echoes the words of Ezekiel by making it clear that Christians that refuse to speak out and therefore allow their brothers and sisters to stumble … it would have been better for a millstone to be tied around their neck and be cast into the sea Jesus Christ said about those people. (To translate that parable, JESUS CHRIST SAID THAT SUCH PEOPLE WILL GO TO THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ETERNITY!) So while the truth hurts the hearer of the truth temporarily, withholding the truth hurts both the one who needs the truth and the one who knows the truth immeasurably worse FOR ETERNITY!

A lot of folks have come on here reminding me of Christ’s admonition that the true test of a disciple is the love for one another and for sinners that he exhibits through his words and actions. That is true, but if you are going to pass by someone that is spiritually lying on the side of the road polluted in their own blood because of their sins and just step over them as they lay dying rather than telling them to “live ye live” (Ezekiel 16:6) by letting them know that their behavior is sin, that their sin is known to God and will be judged by God, and they need to repent and accept and obey Jesus Christ through the Bible, then you do not love that person, you do not love Jesus Christ or the Father and are resisting the Holy Ghost, and that is evidence that you are not a disciple.

What we need to do, Christians, is reject the sensual lascivious nonsense of what the sinful world calls love. The world’s concept of love is completely absent of holiness, righteousness self – control, responsibility, or love for others. What the world calls love is “doing whatever makes you feel good.” Eve gave into that corrupted concept of love when she heeded the lies of Satan in the garden of Eden, and Adam did also in following his wife. Now that very same sensual mess is in the church, including the non – emergent fundamentalist and evangelical portions, because these pastors have given in to the filthy abominations of a modern psychology field that was developed by freaks, creeps, and perverts like Sigmund Freud (who used his theories to justify his incestual lust for his mother), Alfred Kinsey (who used his theories to justify his desire to molest young boys), and Carl Jung (who literally worshiped the devil)!

I am not kidding or exaggerating, go do the research yourself! These are the guys that invented the modern field of psychology that tells us that we have to be “sensitive”, “tolerant”, and “accepting” of other people’s sins because their whole purpose and motivation was justifying their own! And now we have allowed that rebellious abomination to come into the church by way of so many Christian pastors that have defiled the holy message of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob with the evil lusts of men crawling with demons of incest, homosexuality, child molestation, and devil worship. So is it any wonder that NONE of the leading preachers and theologians today will directly confront sin or sinners? Oh, they will bash Hollywood stars, Ted Kennedy, and Barney Frank because of that religious right abomination. But they won’t deal with sin or sinners on a personal level, and that includes the sins of other prominent preachers.

The only reason that we ever found out about Ted Haggard, leader of the National Association of Evangelicals for instance, is because he was exposed by a homosexual prostitute! Not a member of the Body of Christ using Holy Spirit discernment. Not a member of his church who noticed the longtime pattern of bizarre behavior by Haggard and demanded that he confess. No, this fellow would still be leading that church and using his position in the National Association of Evangelicals to convince fundamentalist and evangelical Christians that fighting global warming is more important than keeping the government from officially endorsing the sin of homosexuality were it not for this gay prostitute. And there has been NO ACCOUNTABILITY for the leaders of that church or of the religious right over this issue. NONE.

Why? I am going to tell you why. Because the modern church movement has gotten to be so apostate, so revolting, that it tolerates sin. It accommodates sin. It even LIKES SIN. The modern church movement has more love for people that hate, reject, mock, and re – crucify Jesus Christ with their hateful rebellion against Him than they do for Christians that stand for and demand righteousness in themselves and others that profess Jesus Christ. Evidence of this is the comments of this fellow who runs a weblog dedicated to “dialogue between Christians and Mormons”, claiming that “if we are too harsh in condemning Mormonism, Mormons will leave Christianity altogether, so we need to use gentle persuasion to trick them into leaving their apostate movement so that we can get them to join a Christian church so that they might be converted over time by hearing the preacher.”

Right … getting a Mormon to follow Brian McLaren, Kenneth Copeland, or Creflo Dollar using a compromised gospel … that’ll win ’em for Christ! Please. It will make them twice the sons of hell that they were before! Now when I objected to the notion that Mormons ever were Christians to begin with, the fellow at LDSTalk told me “I probably have a 90% theological alignment with you, but after your first comment here I don’t even want to hang out with you. You’re a clanging cymbal.” (Calling me a clanging cymbal was “nicer” than telling me that I sounded like fingernails being scratched across a chalkboard I suppose).

But that is the mentality of the church today … finding someone that you can sit around and call everyone else Pharisees with and have a great time. The fact that AT THIS VERY SECOND PEOPLE ARE DYING AND GOING TO THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ETERNITY? Man, don’t bring me down with none of your negative vibe, I was all high off smoking my Holy Spirit marijuana (to borrow from gospel singer Tonex, who has now veered heavily into gnosticism, mysticism, and vulgarity) before you came along and ruined my buzz. Now this fellow is asserting I’m convinced that Jesus is unconcerned with our behavior. And … John 14:15 means what then?
