More Evidence That Barack HUSSEIN Obama Is Following After Martin Luther King: He Adheres To The Abominations Of The Religions Of India

Posted by Job on November 12, 2008

In case you did not know, Martin Luther King Jr. developed his philosophy of “nonviolent” subversive political tactics by merging SELECTIVE AND OUT OF CONTEXT doctrines of Christianity and the jainism religion of India. Well, the fellow who has often been identified as King’s successor, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, is going one step further. See, King’s aims in co – opting both jainism and a partial set of Christianity were entirely secular and political. It looks more and more like Barack HUSSEIN Obama, meanwhile, is either personally committed to or is at least heavily promoting a religious system of India out of some strong commitment to religious pluralism. When you consider his religious links to not only Jeremiah Wright but new age witch Oprah Winfrey, that is not surprising. Please consider the information below.

President Elect Barack Hussein Obama, Junior. Has Promised To Install A Pagan Idol In His Presidential Chamber.

by @ 10:29 pm. Filed under Nuts on Parade

You may recall in an earlier post, I noted how both of the leading Presidential candidates engage in idolatry. I noted how Obama keeps a pagan idol, Hanuman, Hinduism’s popular monkey god in his pocket. Well, some people felt it should not be considered a major issue. Some people felt it was noting that indicated a serious issue of idolatry in the life of the President elect. Well the folks who wanted to give Obama a 2-foot gold plated statue of Hanuman, that has been prayed over by 12 Hindu priests, have been seeking continually to get it to him. And Obama, instead of treating it as something he might keep in a garage, or better refuse, has made it known he will keep this false monkey god in his Presidential chamber.

Congressman Bhama says Hanuman helped Obama

NEW DELHI: Barack Obama couldn’t have made the giant leap to the White House as the first Afro-American President in the US without the divine blessings of an Indian god. That is the firm belief of elected member of All India Congress Committee (AICC), Brij Mohan Bhama. “It was the magic of Pawanputra Hanuman that did it all,” asserts a convinced Bhama, a devoted Obama fan. “It is the truimph of Lord Hanuman on the soils of America,” he declares, and nothing can shake his belief-in Obama or Hanuman’s blessings.

Bhama claimed he had been flooded with grateful smses and emails since the results to the US polls were announced. He was thanked for his staunch support for Obama. “I sent out a congratulatory email to the president elect early in the morning,” he said, as he talked about the email id he had specially created to rally support for Obama. The id was called bhamaobama.

Some may have concerns about Obama’s India policies, but Bhama will hear none of it.’`He is a Democrat, yet he extended his full support to the nuclear deal. His ethnicity will automatically make him a friend of this country,” he said.

In July this year, Bhama created waves of excitement when he organised a special puja by 12 priests at the Sankat Mochan Dham on Pusa Road for Obama’s victory. At the time, Bhama gifted a two-foot high, gold-plated idol of Hanuman to Obama.

“I had a conversation with Obama in July and he promised to install the idol at his chamber once he was elected President,” smiles the elated Congressman. Now he plans to visit the White House after January 20, 2009, to present the Hanuman idol. “Along with a delegation, I will go to the US to gift him the idol. So far, American law forbade him from accepting any overseas gift that cost more than $10. But, now that he will be president, no such problem will arise,” said Bhama. The idol at present is lording over in a temple in New Jersey, he adds.

Bhama says Obama’s success run began soon after he accepted the gift and agreed to keep it in his office. “When we gifted him the idol, he was not even the Democrats’ presidential nominee. But, after that, he was not just elected as the Democrats’ candidate but also won,” he added.

According to media reports, among Obama’s good luck charms are “a bracelet belonging to a soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit and a tiny Madonna and child, and a tiny monkey god.”

And what do you know, he carries a Mary idol too!

Now from this point in this post, I could go and expound on how anyone claiming to be Christian is warned to flee from idolatry. I mean 1 Corinthians 10Acts 15Galatians 51 John 5 and so many other scriptures make it profoundly clear, that nobody claiming the Lord’s name is to EVER engage in idolatry. But there’s only one I’m going to focus on in this post, because it’s short and to the point. With Obama, we have a man who has openly denied that Jesus is the only means of salvation, which totally denies Jesus is the one true Christ and hope for salvation. It’s heresy, a secular humanistic form of Universalism, that he and those like him promote, that asserts someone’s good works can bring them salvation. He’s totally embraced idols, many idols. He has spewed all manner of heresies. He totally has the posture of a politician who claims Christianity because it goes over well in election polling. But he’s not showing the true fruit of a saint, I mean not at all. So the one passage of scripture I want to put focus on, is the one I really hope some pastor who knows the truth might be able to reach the President elect with.

Revelation 22:15 (New American Standard Bible)

15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

Now I know the President elect has denied the truth of the Word of God, in his clams that passages in the book of Romans are “obscure”. And trying to act as if red letters can be played against all other scripture; which defies all scripture is to be taken as equal weight and God breathed, 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:20-21. But I’d still prefer someone share the truth with him.

So, Islam, Roman Catholicism, eastern religions, a liberation theology version of Protestantism, a willingness to make some of the more moderate evangelicals happy by making it clear that he “respects” them (which is a big thing for them, respect from the world), plus a healthy dose of Ivy League intellectual skepticism to mollify the atheist crowd that he is as good as they are going to get anytime soon. Looks like Hussein Obama has all the bases covered. It is not one world religion, but it is definitely a strong move towards that direction. And please remember that Martin Luther King, Jr. in getting world Christianity to respect syncretism with eastern religions using his “nonviolent civil rights movement” Trojan horse helped pave the way.

By the way, pagan idolatrous symbolism is apparently very important to this Obama character. Remember his Democratic national convention acceptance speech?

Well If You’re Going To Have Worship Of Man, An Ancient Greek Temple Replica Is Only Fitting!

by @ 10:50 am. Filed under Nuts on Parade

Check this out.

Obama Speech Stage Resembles Ancient Greek Temple

DENVER (Reuters) – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple.

The stage, similar to structures used for rock concerts, has been set up at the 50-yard-line, the midpoint of Invesco Field, the stadium where the Denver Broncos’ National Football League team plays.

Some 80,000 supporters will see Obama appear from between plywood columns painted off-white, reminiscent of Washington’s Capitol building or even the White House, to accept the party’s nomination for president.

He will stride out to a raised platform to a podium that can be raised from beneath the floor.

The show should provide a striking image for the millions of Americans watching on television as Obama delivers a speech accepting the Democratic presidential nomination.

Politicians in past elections have typically spoken from the convention site itself, but the Obama campaign liked the idea of having their man speak to a larger, stadium-sized crowd not far from where the Democratic National Convention is being held, at the Denver pro basketball arena.

Obama was taking a page from the campaign book of John Kennedy in 1960 when the future president delivered his acceptance speech to 80,000 people in the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Once Obama speaks, confetti will rain down on him and fireworks will be fired off from locations around the stadium wall.

So in the tradition of man (idol) worship, with Obama being the (idol) cult focal point, Barack Hussein Obama, Junior will be in a Greek temple replica giving his speech. Then there will be celebration once Obama (the idol) is finished addressing the crowd. It’s bad enough that this nation’s Capitol building and White House resemble buildings constructed for idolatry, but now Team Obama is knowingly promoting the cult “temple” vision. I guess they didn’t want to do it like other candidates, when they can further promote idolatry with their own “temple”.

Sure I know some of you disagree, but there is a not very subtle promotion of an idol going on here. And now they’ve constructed him a temple. They hope he goes to the even larger temple. To spread the doctrine of Obama and they feel that will heal our land. It is why this man is being played up in ways beyond many presidential candidates before him, because for many he is a living idol. The Democratic convention opened to the theme of Universalism and will close around the central cult figure, Obama.

Now I have not paid much attention to the messianic cult that surrounds Obama in large part because other nations and cultures have traditionally revered their leaders in a similar manner. As a matter of fact, it was not uncommon even in the west in times past. You should see some of the songs, sonnets and artwork composed to honor monarchs, for instance. So I am going to chalk that up to America reverting back to historical norms or taking on the traits of other cultures before I make anything exceptional of it, especially when you consider some of the nonsense stories that used to be traded about George Washington, that he was “bulletproof” because of some special calling or standing that this FREEMASON allegedly had from God and other such rabble. (Amazing how we used to indoctrinate our kids. Political correctness and multiculturalism largely just replaced one form of indoctrination with another.)

Incidentally, there is a story, probably true, about Abraham Lincoln that is relevant here. It is said that an emancipated slave prostrated himself before Lincoln to express his gratitude to the president for his freedom and that of others. According to the story, Lincoln told the man to get up and to give thanks to God for his freedom. Again, if this tale is true, please contrast the refusal of a political leader to receive human praise to the vanity of this current one who seems to demand and require it. I still recall how Obama definitely was angered and lost his composure – and it took him awhile to regain it! – when John McCain dared to question his notions of being great and high and lifted up with that Britney Spears/Paris Hilton commercial. Well, Obama, there is only one that is truly Holy. There is only one that is truly High and Lifted Up. There is only one that is truly deserving of praise. You are not Him. Instead, you will stand before Him in judgment, bow, and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Are you ready for that day, Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.? Your mother, father, grandmother and grandfather have gone on before you, and their fates are sealed. But what of your fate, Mr. Obama? What of you and your house?

Mr. Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. please remember Isaiah 14. Also, please recall Ezekiel 28:12-19. It is true that the prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel were speaking to Satan. It is also true that they were speaking to the king of Tyre, in whom there was a form of Satan’s pride and vanity that caused his downfall. Mr. Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. it is God who raises up rulers to do His will, not false gods like Hanuman. It was not the skull that those Peruvian shamans had their seance ritual over that got you elected either! It was God who raised you up. And if you continue in the ways of pride and vanity like the king of Tyre, like the king of Tyre and of Satan as well, your downfall is coming.

A Possible Explanation of Daniel’s Verses Relating To The Anti – Christ

Posted by Job on September 28, 2008

Source: HITLER’S ROLE IN NEW WORLD ORDER PLAN Some of this is questionable, especially when they try to count the number of “kings” but it is mostly pretty good.

1. Daniel 8:23-25 — “And in the latter time … a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many …”

This is a description of the coming Antichrist who will reign in the “latter time”. Most people have no idea of the description of witchcraft in this passage.

  • “A king of fierce countenance” is one very correct way to describe Adolf Hitler or anyone who is a witch. Make no mistake about the fact that Hitler was a practicing witch, and most of his outdoor spectacles involved active witchcraft. His countenance was severe, yet that was a huge part of his popularity.
  • “Understanding dark sentences” literally means, in the original language, “dark trickery and craftiness”. And, in the next sentence we read that “he shall cause ‘craft’ to prosper in his hand”. This clearly refers to witchcraft. Witches take great time and effort to understand and perfect the “dark” sayings and rituals they must know in order to become a practiced witch, to carry out spells and hexes. As far as the word, ‘craft’, referring to witchcraft, all you have to do to confirm that they refer to their religion as a ‘craft’ is to go into any New Age or Satanic bookstore and browse their books. They clearly and often refer to their witchcraft as the ‘craft’.

So, this passage clearly foretells that the Antichrist will be someone who is a most practiced adept in the craft of witchcraft.

2. Daniel 11:37-38 — “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not… ”

  • Antichrist will not regard the God of his fathers. In other words, he shall practice a religion that is not based upon the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament.
  • Antichrist will not desire women. Scholars believe this either means he shall be sexually perverted or a homosexual, or both. Keep this fact in mind as we discuss some of the rituals of Satanism in a few moments.
  • Antichrist will honor the ‘god of forces’. All occultists, including Freemasons, Illuminists, and Satanists, teach that God is not a person, or a being; rather, he is a “Force”. The movie which did most to popularize this Satanic concept is the movie, “Star Wars”, where Black Magic duel White Magic, both of whom were using the “Force” to try to win the war. The phrase, “May the Force Be With You” was on everyone’s lips after that movie. This is classic witchcraft, and yet, most Americans are not aware.

3. Revelation 17:10-11 — “And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”

The “seven kings” of this chapter are seven Mystery Kings. What is a ‘Mystery King’? He is a unique leader in two respects: 1). Politically, he is an absolute dictator. This is truly nothing new, as history is full of such characters. 2). Spiritually, he is an ordained Satanic High Priest, and fills the unique role of daily ruling his nation according to the precepts of Satanism. When you put these two aspects together, you get a very short list of rulers who have ruled accordingly. At the time the Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation, the world was under the heel of the sixth Mystery King, Nero of Rome, (this is the ‘one is’ above).

EMERGENT CHURCH SPREADING SPIRITUAL CANCER

Posted by Job on August 21, 2008

By Forgotten Word Ministries

By Marsha WestApril 18, 2008

In the Sixties the counterculture rejected consumerism, individualism, traditional values and ideas, and protested against their parent’s middle class values. Thus began an all out assault on what had made America prosperous for two centuries.

Now a similar assault on historic orthodox Christianity is underway that’s gaining momentum. Some Christians believe a paradigm shift is taking place in the Church and as a consequence “everything must change.” This is anything but good news for Christendom, my friends. In a radio interview with Worldview Network’s Brannon Howse, Professor Peter Jones of Westminster Seminary warned listeners that the Christian theistic West has been turning back to pagan, pantheistic monism. Many in contemporary western culture now hold to a pantheistic belief in the unity of nature and God, of body and spirit — all is One.

Pantheism is a major tenet of the New Spirituality movement (NSM), once called the New Age movement. Other names used are Self-spirituality and Mind-body-spirit. The movement is largly eclectic with inspiration drawn from all the major world religions, which include Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Shamanism, Wicca, the metaphysical New Thought movement, and Neo-Paganism, to name a few. The goal of NSM is a shift in “planetary consciousness.” Their focus is not only on the West but also on the entire planet!

NSM is producing a movie to promote the new paradigm. In an article on Christian Worldview Weekend, Brannon Howse gives details: “New Spirituality gurus like Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson, alongside leftist environmentalists like Al Gore and religious figures such as Archbishop Desmond TuTu. Their message is the same, as though it was taken from the same script. ‘A massive worldwide phenomenon is in progress, offering seeds of great hope for the future…We aare in the middle of the biggest social transformation in history, THE SHIFT.'”

In order to move the West away from theism, the shifters must first reinvent biblical Christianity. Enter Oprah Winfrey. It would seem Oprah has been planning The Shift for many years. In 1987 she read the late Eric Butterworth’s book “Discover the Power Within You.” His book changed how Oprah looked at life and religion. She was convinced that Jesus didn’t come to teach us about His divinity, as the Bible teaches, but to teach us about our divinity! (Oprah’s code word is “Christ consciousness.”) She recommended Butterworth’s book to her audience and sales soon skyrocketed.

Who was Eric Butterworth? A theologian, lecturer and author who delivered the message of the Unity School of Christianity (part of the heretical Metaphysical movement) that “looks within” to find Christ. “Try telling someone in the Metaphysical movement…about the wages of sin…andand they will look at you as though you are an anachronism — a thrrowback to a less-enlightened age. The ideas of an enslaving sinful nature, of being alienated from God, and of God’s wrath are, to them, extremely offensive.” He considered sin ”self-inflicted nonsense.”

In 1987 Forbes magazine summarized Eric Butterworth’s message thus: ”We alone have the power within us to solve our problems, relieve our anxieties and pain, heal our illnesses, improve our golf game or get a promotion.”

But this article is not about Oprah’s spiritual poison, it’s about spiritual deception that’s spreading like cancer in Christendom. (More on Oprah’s latest attempt to indoctrinate the masses through the occult teaching “A Course in Miracles” in my next article.)

In John 8:31-32 Jesus said, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

There is a growing movement afoot in the postmodern Church that does not abide in God’s Word; hence they do not know the truth. The movement calls itself “Emergent” or “Emerging Church” (ECM) and it’s emerging away from orthodox Christianity, spreading its spiritual cancer throughout the globe. ECM change agents have made inroads into evangelicalism, big time. What they preach is a counterfeit social gospel. They say they bring a “message of peace.” Their hope is to make Christianity more palatable to the world. Sounds altruistic, doesn’t it? But don’t believe it! In order to accomplish their lofty goal, the shifters must first repackage the Church.

So they’re touring the country, promoting their social gospel and message of peace to the masses. Prominent ECM leader Brian McLaren is spearheading the “Everything Must Change” tour. According to McLaren’s website the planet is in Deep Shift’
A time of transition
rethinking
re-imagining
and re-envisioning.

But really, it’s all about re-shaping the true Gospel of Jesus Christ into a false gospel and re-imaging Jesus Christ into the New Age Cosmic Christ!

McLaren created Deep Shift to provide spiritual guidance for organizations who are open to this. On the DeepShift.org website he states that he will work with leaders, “inviting them to discover where the gifts of their people and God’s purposes in the world meet. Deep Shift provides support as leaders make their own personal deep shift and guide their organizations through the transition and transformation necessary to ignite the loving energy of people to work for the good of the world. As guides, we provide coaching, consulting, and resources for people leading in deep shift — faith community and church leaders, nonprofit leaders, ethical business leaders and others.”

Maharishi McLaren’s re-imaging of the modern Church is on it’s way — whether evangelicals want re-imaging or not. The transformation, he boasts, “is for the good of the world.”

You may not have heard about The Shift yet, but you will – soon! Shifters, like pod people, are in our midst. Some of your friends and acquaintances could be shifters, only you don’t know it yet. Shifters have wormed their way into church leadership (pastors deacons, elders), worship services, Bible studies, Sunday school, seminaries, Christian schools, youth groups, camps. They lecture, write for Christian news sources and they’re all over the Internet. Now they’re touring the country. Many shifters are familiar faces on TV and have become media darlings. Browse through your local Christian bookstore and you’ll find their names lined up on shelves. Brian McLaren, Jim Wallis, Tony Campolo, Marcus Borg, Dallas Willard, Leonard Sweet, Erwin McManus, Phyllis Tickle, Rob Bell, Dan Kimball, Doug Pagitt, Tony Jones, Scot McKnight, Eddie Gibbs, Ryan Bolger, Jeff & Sherry Maddock, Peter Rollins, to name a few. Every one of them are theological liberals!

But shifters are offended when they’re labeled liberal. And besides, liberal is so yesterday! And let’s be honest here; liberal has a negative connotation, thanks largely to vociferous conservatives (Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Joseph Farah, James Dobson, Gary Bauer, Phyllis Schlafly, Brannon Howse, Don Wildmon, Matt Drudge, Melanie Morgan, Tony Perkins and Hugh Hewitt – whew!) who are on the front lines of the culture war exposing liberalism’s globalist, big-government, radical feminist, rabid environmentalist, pro-abortion, anti-gun, peace at any cost, gay rights, anything goes, sick twisted agenda. Balking at being called liberal, they hide behind the trendy term, “progressive.” Many “Progressive Christian” leaders are highly critical of the Christian Right and their role in politics. (See link 9 below)

ECM’s beginnings

In his article, “Understanding the Emergent Church” Walter Henenger says that while some of ECM’s leaders came of age in the “new paradigm” churches of the Sixties and Seventies, “the real starting point was the mid-1980s, when Gen X ministries began catering to youth culture. Often organized as churches-within-a-church, they adopted cutting-edge ministry methods but generally retained the structural DNA of their parent megachurches.” But in the late Nineties they came to realize that they had failed to connect with postmodern people. During a 1997 meeting of the Young Leaders Network, pastor Doug Pagitt turned the discussion to the subject of postmodernism. “Light bulbs appeared over heads around the room,” continues Henenger, “and postmodernism has been the organization’s focus ever since. The Young Leaders Network soon morphed into the Terra Nova Theological Project, which eventually became Emergent. Its leaders went from niche marketers of religious services to global heralds of a massive, irresistible paradigm shift. Heady stuff.”

A brief explanation of modernism and postmodernism is in order. In his article “Preaching to the Post/Modern Choir” Shane Lems offers this pithy definition:

“Modernism embraces definite truth, absolutes, foundations, rationalistic thinking, and certainty, while postmodernism embraces emotions, authenticity, community, tolerance, and denies unquestionable foundations. Modern preaching highlights the propositional, didactic, and intellectual while postmodern preaching stresses the narratival, communal, sensual, and authentic.”

What exactly is ECM?

Well for one thing Emergents believe that the monologue of the Christian Right is over and a new “conversation” (a term they prefer over movement) is “bringing together a wide range of committed Christians and those exploring the Christian faith in wonderful ways,” boasts Brian McLaren, “and many of us sense that God is at work among us. As would be expected, there have also been criticisms.” I must digress for a moment to pose a question to Pastor McLaren: If God is now at work in the postliberal ECM as its leaders contend, was God not at work in the movement to Reclaim America for Christ for several decades? Just thought I’d ask.

What is ECM’s mission?

According to Emergent leader, Tony Jones, “At a basic level, Emergent’s mission is no different from any other group of Christ-followers: we want to follow Christ and we want to help others follow Christ. Of course, where it gets tricky is when we start talking about what it looks like to follow Christ. All along, Emergent has been about the melding of theory/theology and praxis, and we want to promote fresh, creative, and imaginative thinking about each. It seems that many organizations get to emphasize one side over the other in the theory-praxis equation, but we really are going to struggle to keep both of those in an equal, reflective symbiosis. What does it mean to be the church? What does it mean to follow Christ? We want to serve as a catalyst for conversations that attempt to answer those two questions, and to bring together the most creative people we can find for those conversations. But, conversation alone leads to paralysis by analysis, which is why we have always made sure that conversations are led primarily by practitioners rather than theoreticians and consultants.” Huh?

ECM’s missional concern

Emergents are concerned about being missional in a postmodern world. “The word missional emphasizes a return to the church’s identity as existing for the world—tto be God’s stewards over creation, to be a light to the nations, to be witnesses of the inaugurated kingdom of God on earth.” In this regard Emergent leaders have been critical of evangelicalism. They believe evangelicals have not been effectively missional in a postmodern world. Naturally, many evangelicals find this view arrogant and self-righteous. Sadly, ECM’s arrogance has caused division between them and evangelicals.

What is the ECM protesting?

“Whatever the Emerging Movement is,” explains Scot McKnight, “it is clearly a protest movement. Sometimes it can appear to be cranky, but there is substance and there is focus in what the Emerging Movement is protesting. And, though sometimes the resolutions fall flat or fail to materialize or collapse into the unworkable, there are genuine resolutions being worked out. What is the Emerging Movement protesting? Let me count the ways,” quips McKnight. “That’s not an attempt to be funny,” he assures us, “there is a list of at least ten items the Emerging Movement is protesting, and most would agree that it has its finger on some hot buttons. And let it be said that its primary focus in protestation is the evangelical movement and, sometimes but not always, the mega-churches that so clearly define and set the tone for the evangelical movement.”

One hot button issue is abortion. Because they’re mostly liberals, many Emergents are pro-aborts. It pains me to do so, but I’ll let this go and move on.

Here’s the rundown on some of what ECM believes, from an article by Joseph Farah posted on WorldNetDaily.com:

Capital punishment is wrong, despite the clear, unequivocal biblical commandments to take life for life.

Most Christians are too war-like and are guilty of “not loving our enemies.”

Universal health care should be provided by government.

Poverty should be eliminated by the U.S. government, not just in the U.S., but throughout the world.

The minimum wage should be significantly increased.

The U.S. should sign the Kyoto Protocol as a step toward solving the phantom crisis of global warming.

The U.S. should pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and address the real problem of terrorism by creating a Palestinian state and addressing the root cause – poverty.

We should make condoms available throughout the Third World to fight AIDS.

Farah lists more of ECM’s beliefs but I’ve got a lot of ground to cover, so I’ll move on. (In the article he exposes Red Letter Christians, a movement headed by Tony Campolo and Jim Wright who are trying to “seduce evangelical Christians into anti-biblical, socialist, tyrannical politics.”)

ECM is also about “rediscovering spirituality”

“Emerging church practitioners are happy to take elements of worship from a wide variety of historic traditions, including Anglicanism, Roman Catholicism, the Orthodox church, and Celtic Christianity. From these and other religious traditions emerging church groups take, adapt and blend various historic church practices including liturgy, prayer beads, icons, spiritual direction, and lectio divina.” In other words, whatever unbiblical practice floats your boat.

ECM’s Quaker influence

“The Religious Society of Friends…although not bornn from a conflict with modernism, has nonetheless influenced the emerging church movement through mystics such as Richard Foster. This influence is often seen in the mystical tendencies of emergent worship and devotion. Some emerging churches mirror the Quaker rejection of church hierarchy while valuing the sacred as a personal, subjective experience, others utilize their particular denominational structures for church leadership.”

Bringing God’s kingdom to earth

“To Brian McLaren,” says Pastor Gary Gilley, “the most prolific emergent writer, the ultimate goal of Jesus (and God) is the kingdom of God, brought to earth. Just how is the kingdom brought to earth? Through our good works. McLaren states, ‘I hope that they [his neighbors] and I will become better people, transformed by God’s Spirit, more pleasing to God, more of a blessing to the world so that God’s kingdom (which I seek, but cannot manipulate) comes on earth as in heaven (emphasis mine).'”

A new path

Many shifters, like Campolo and Wright, are hard-core leftists who are doing everything in their power to lead the Church down a new path, away from Sola Scriptura, into what Pastor Ken Silva calls the “emerging cult of the new liberal theology” and a “spiritual cancer.” Without Scripture, how is it possible to establish what is true about God? Oh, I know! To find answers you must get in touch with your “inner self” through meditation! To that end ECM leaders urge believers to embrace unbiblical contemplative prayer and other occult practices. (I addressed this topic in Christians are mixed-up…in mysticcism!

On the DeepShift.org website, Pastor McLaren points visitors to the new path:

“We hope this is a beginning for you to be on this new path, believing in Jesus in a new way, ready to act for change in your own life, in your community, the public and the world. We hope this is a beginning for you to connect with new people who are on this same path and journey for encouragement, support, relationship and depth.”

The part that bothers me the most is “believing in Jesus in a new way.” What does he mean? Could he be referring to the “Cosmic Christ?”

McLaren makes clear his intentions for 2008 on McLaren.com when he says, “Rather than accepting invitations in 2008, I’ll join a creative team of friends to develop and present about ten regional gatherings, half in the winter/spring and half in the fall. These gatherings will be called ‘Deep Shift 2008.”

McLaren’s mission? (My comments in brackets)

“DeepShift will call people to a deep shift in their thinking about [Jesus Christ], faith, church life, mission, ministry, art, justice, leadership, community, and worship. It will emphasize deep personal inner transformation [through contemplative prayer] integrated with deep organizational transition as well, in the context of the ‘Generous Orthodoxy’ I write and speak about.”

McLaren on hell and the cross

In a 2006 interview McLaren calls the doctrine of hell “false advertising for God.” “[T]his is one of the huge problems with the traditional understanding of hell, because if the Cross is in line with Jesus’ teaching, then I won’t say the only and I certainly won’t say … or even the primary or a primary meaning of the Cross … is that the Kingdom of God doesn’t come like the kingdoms of this world by inflicting violence and coercing people. But that the kingdom of God comes thru suffering and willing voluntary sacrifice right? But in an ironic way the doctrine of hell basically says no, that’s not really true. At the end God get’s his way thru coercion and violence and intimidation and uh domination just like every other kingdom does. The Cross isn’t the center then, the Cross is almost a distraction and false advertising for God.”

In my research I ran across a panel discussion on You Tube, “Let’s Talk Post-Modernism and the Emergent Church.” Here highly regarded orthodox theologians R.C. Sproul, Albert Mohler and Ravi Zacharias had a “conversation” about postmodernism, modernism, liberalism, and ECM.

The main thrust of ECM, the scholars say, is its rejection of modernism and its embrace of postmodernism. Why reject orthodoxy? Because the orthodoxy are absolutists. Absolutists want to reinsert categories of right and wrong, whereas postmodernists balk at doctrinal assertions. They gave as an example Brian McLaren’s position on homosexuality in a Time Magazine interview. Following is the excerpt from Time: “Frankly, many of us don’t know what we should think about homosexuality. We’ve heard all sides but no position has yet won our confidence so that we can say ‘it seems good to the Holy Spirit and us.’ That alienates us from both the liberals and conservatives who seem to know exactly what we should think.” So McLaren suggested a five-year moratorium on making pronouncements. And what will we do in the meantime? He went on to say, “[W]e’ll practice prayerful Christian dialogue, listening respectfully, disagreeing agreeably. When decisions need to be made, they’ll be admittedly provisional. We’ll keep our ears attuned to scholars in biblical studies, theology, ethics, psychology, genetics, sociology, and related fields. Then in five years, if we have clarity, we’ll speak; if not, we’ll set another five years for ongoing reflection.”

Um…the Bible says homosexuality is a sin, Brian. (Lev. 18:22, Lev. 20:13, Rom. 1:26-28, 1 Cor. 6:9-10,)

McLaren’s wishy-washy comment on homosexuality obviously did not go over well with the panel. Near the end of the discussion Albert Mohler commented that his response to the homosexual question is the very essence of postmodernism. He then cautioned, “It is the abdication of Christian responsibility. It is the abdication of Christian conviction and it is a cave in of Christian courage. We do have an answer! And it’s not like we don’t know what it is!”

As R.C. Sproul said so well, ECM appeals to Christians “who don’t want to have to deal with theological conflict.” These same folks relativize doctrine, and that makes Sproul angry. He then points out that disagreeing doctrinally is a “bad thing.” Looking rather grim-faced he said, “We can’t be satisfied with it. Because truth is too important to kill it in the streets for the sake of peace! You can’t do it!” Bravo!

Ravi Zaccaris puzzled, “These men and women who were the progenitors of this [movement]…what brought this about? Are they bored with God?!” The problem, he explained, is “Non critical people listening to this stuff absorb it.” After reading McLaren’s books, Zaccaris wonders what he believes at present. “Maybe something on Monday, something else on Tuesday?” he said grimly. “He’s an anti-doctrinal individual. It’s pitiful to see something like this actually gain currency.”

The Emergent movement is most definitely gaining currency, especially with young people and those who are dissatisfied with mainline evangelicalism. Which is the reason it’s imperative that committed Christians take a deeper look into the “conversation.” Listen carefully to the language to see whether or not what a person purports is within the pale of orthodoxy. In other words, check to see if it’s biblical. Because if the “conversation” doesn’t line up with Scripture, it’s not from God. And if it’s not from God…it’s ffrom the pit of hell.

In another You Tube video I came across, Todd Wilken, host of Issues Etc., was interviewing Pastor and author John MacArthur on his response to ECM. MacArthur believes the problem is that Emergent leaders have a non-Christian attitude. Moreover, they have a “very worldly, carnal, unsanctified approach to the Bible.” With regard to truth, he made this comment: “Truth is everything, and the truth is contained in the Bible.” He also mentioned that progressives “do not accept the authority, inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible. They do not accept that everything in the Bible is absolutely true and that it is clear that it can be and must be understood and applied.” And the reason they reject it? According to MacArthur, “They don’t like a lot of the things it says.”

Scott Diekmann, a Christian apologist who believes “segments of the ‘Evangelical’ Church are in danger of compromising the Gospel at crucial points” wrote an 8-part article on ECM. In part 8 he states that part of the problem with Emergents is that “some have substituted the doctrines derived from the inerrant and inspired Word of God with a doctrine based on an uninspired melding of Scripture, experience, mysticism, and imagination. That lack of Scriptural fidelity has at times led to a redefined Gospel, a message that is predominantly Law rather than Gospel, and pastors who have failed to present the whole counsel of God.”

What this is really all about is truth. False teachers stare at Truth but fail to recognize the identity of truth. Jesus himself said, “I am truth.” Thus we know that Truth is an aspect of God Himself. Christianity is the only truth because it is anchored in the Person of Jesus Christ. Moreover, truth is crucial to a realistic worldview. Which is why committed Christians mustn’t buy into the lie that truth is a matter of preference or opinion. In case you haven’t notices, in our postmodern culture we are experiencing the death of truth – and the death of truth could mean the death of civilizzation! I wrote this down, but I don’t remember who said it. “Truth is true if no one believes it. A lie is a lie if everyone believes it.” And that’s the truth!

Before I wind this up, I want to stress that celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and “Progressive Christian” leaders are pressing a large number of believers into apostasy, even into rank heresy. This is a serious threat to the Church! The threat shouldn’t be taken lightly nor tolerated. So ECM and “New Spirituality” must be thoroughly understood and debunked. What’s more, committed Christians must expose shifters for what they are — occultists!  What are your thoughts on this article?

More thoughts from a reader:

Thank-you!  This message is not received very well by sadly so many
“unthinking” people that call themselves, Christians.  This is a very
sad day we live in.
Rob Bell boast he has over 2 million followers.  His church Marshill is
within a mile from my home.  His influence in the “church” at large is
strong and I think the whole problem with false teachers of the WORD is
when we change the Bible.  I think Satan got a strong footing when in
1973 the NIV was birthed.  Taking verses out completely.  You go from vs
46 to 48
How many people notice verse 47 missing just gone.  Then other verses
just part of them remain and worded ever so slightly.
It is soo sad.  The Today’s NIV, I have not looked at it but I can only
guess.  If peole like you and I.  People like Ravi, MacArture, Gilley,
thank the Lord for Mr Gilley. If we the Church of the Bible as written
upon eye witnesses and hearers of the LORD don’t do more than cry,  50
years of so when these great men and women of GOD and they have gone on
to heaven ,it won’t be Today’s NIV it will be even more in your face to
allow all kinds of thinking just as long as there is unity and peace.  I
pray people that profess CHRIST as in Orthodox faith would not use the
NIV in any shape or form.  To come out and denounce it and publically
state the reasons why.  GOD has said, “MY people are destroyed because
of lack of knowledge”
It breaks my heart to see so many in my area that are smitten with Mr
Bell and his books, his Nooma videos, ect.  They are following the man
because he comes across as promoting peace and anyone like myself that
believes the Bible as written are just hate mongers.
This very thing has had an effect on my personal family.  My
granddaughter is caught up with this group.   It includes Bill Hybels,
his daughter Shauna Niequist wrote Cool Tanerines,  may seem benign
enough but front flap, you see Brian McLarin’s endorsement and then on
back flap you see Shauna’s endorsement of Willowcreek Church and
Marshill.
Rick Warren I think is another yet he is so well embraced.  His book
Purpose Driven Life where he intentionally used 15 “versions” of the
Bible to bend it to his agenda.(see back of his book, list of versions)
He is very “ecumenical”
People that embrace the emergent thinking or the Redemptive Theology.
They are striving for “unity” at any price.  By changing the Bible this
allows them to demish what GOD has called sin.  They are “redeeming”
GOD’s WORD!   It is unbelieveable but this is what Satan does  best.
“surely GOD did not say”  I pray many people that love GOD’s Word will
join together bringing this in the open in each church, taking stand and
letting people know what kind of battle is really going on.  It is about
souls.
With the emergent church there is no need for an alter call.  It must be
related too to the ecumenical movement started in the 60’s…Doesn’t
matter what you think or embrace, all one big family so they believe.
My point is that if the Church that loves GOD’s word as written
originally don’t be more in everyone’s face about this “cancer”  when we
are dead and the young people have come up under this thinking I can’t
even imagine.  the people that embrace and promote this emerging church
are counting on us being dead.   Thank-you again for bring this out, I
pray many read your web.  I came across it by accident.
Shalom in Y’shua

Ron Luce of BattleCry: Supporting Ministry of Word of Faith Jezebel Heretics Marilyn And Sarah Hickey!

Posted by Job on May 28, 2008

I used to love watching Ron Luce’s events such as “Acquire The Fire” and “BattleCry” on Christian broadcasting and generally supported their efforts: see New York Times Portrays Teenage Christians As Hatemongers. Then, I found out that Luce was among those endorsing syncretized Christianity via New Age contemplative spirituality: BattleCry’s Ron Luce Gets In On The Contemplative Prayer Scam. So, here we had another example of Christians taking what is supposed to be a bold – even coercive and militaristic – stand in secular areas like politics and culture while compromising attacks on the faith itself. For example: not long ago one of Luce’s TV shows celebrated their victory over a chain of mall gift shops selling pornographic Christmas tree ornaments. You might be interested in knowing how this victory took place. Was it converting the owner of the gift shop chain into Christianity? No. Was it converting so many customers of this gift shop chain into Christianity that selling such things would be commercially viable? No. Instead, they employed the same tactics that atheists, gay rights groups, pro – abortion people, and New Age (there’s that world again!) environmentalist Gaia mother earth worshipers use: protests, picket signs, media pressure, etc. In other words, it as Christians imposing their social, political, and cultural beliefs – not the gospel mind you but only secular beliefs! – on people that reject Jesus Christ knowing full well that a person can have those beliefs, not have Jesus Christ, and still burn for an eternity in the lake of fire. And it was not even any sort of conviction or shame over sin and blasphemy that forced this fellow to change. Instead, they used GREED as an inducement. This fellow did not stop selling pornographic Christmas tree ornaments because the Ron Luce kids caused him fear the God of Heaven. Instead, the Ron Luce kids manipulated his fear of the god of THIS WORLD to force him to change his behavior. These “Christians” used MAMMON, more specifically the fear of losing money and power, to get this fellow to do what they wanted him to do! Seriously, how different is that from witchcraft, the occult, black magic, white magic, roots, or voodoo? Well, if you give up Jesus Christ’s spiritual mission for earthly gains and glory, such a thing is inevitably going to happen, because if you obey Jesus Christ, you can reach the world in a spiritual manner by the Holy Spirit. But if you go off and do things that Jesus Christ never told you to do, you reach the world through its flesh by the flesh.

So, it is no surprise that so many of these religious right “taking back the culture” dominionists have gotten quite comfortable with incorporating so many worldly techniques, even things from other religions, into not only their political practice but religious doctrines and practices. Using slain in the spirit false charismatic techniques so that you can do a better job of brainwashing and manipulating young children than does the anti – Christ public schools? Why not? It is beating the enemy at his own game right? See: Jesus Camp: Bewitching Our Children With False Doctrines!

The question is similar to Roman Catholicism centuries ago, why are the Pentecostal and charismatic evangelical movements so conducive to getting people to believe that A) it is our job to establish the kingdom of heaven on earth rather than to preach the gospel and obey the Bible and let God do what God has already said He would and B) to accomplish A) using secular methods? Just The Book has an excellent series on how these people are targeting our kids in this fashion, here is merely one of their many entries, and yes Just The Book (a sola scriptura title!) does invest a lot of time in investigating the links between Roman Catholic mysticism and not only charismatic mania, but how charismatic mania influences POLITICS. I am not one of those who claims that the Roman Catholic Church is mystery Babylon the great, the beast, etc. but their fingerprints are all over this movement.

So here is the link of Ron Luce endorsing the false ministry of the Hickeys. I don’t know how long the link is going to last, so here goes the text:

In a world that seems to be turning upside down, God wants YOU to be a world – changer!“After a radical encounter with God, Sarah Bowling began to sense the need to revolutionize her World… from the inside out. “That’s where the true revolution begins,” says Sarah.

Regardless of how old or young you are, or where you live on the planet, God wants you to be concerned, confronted, compelled, corrupted, and consumed by the cause of Christ. He sees the potential in each of us to become a revolutionary.

How to Keep Your Faith in an Upside-down World can be a beginning for you; a beginning of radical relationship with God, of tremendous transformation in your own life, and a real revolution of God’s love, power and Word in your world and the world around you!” Sarah’s book will encourage you to not just be a surviving Christian, but a thriving Christian. Sarah’s message will help you excel and move forward in your Christian walk—despite living in an upside down world.

-Ron Luce, Founder of Teen Mania

So … God wants you to be corrupted by the cause of Jesus Christ? That must be the Word of Faith/prosperity doctrine translation. You know, the one that teaches that Jesus Christ had to be born again (either in hell or at his baptism), that He was raped, and other blasphemies. God wants us to be a revolutionary? In the form of dying to self, not being conformed to the world and its ways but being transformed by God’s Word, etc. But since Luce did not provide that context for us – and since he promotes WORLDLY and UNBIBLICAL ministers like the Hickeys and practices like contemplative spirituality – I cannot presume him to mean “revolutionary” in a biblical context (especially since the world itself never appears in the Bible … at least not in my translation … again maybe it appears in the Word of Faith/prosperity ones), but rather in a worldly one. And again, since Luce’s “ministry” is fond of using militaristic images – complete with teens wearing combat fatigues and having vehicles i.e. jeeps painted with camouflage designs on stage, and yes since he encourages these children to be active in the secular arena – what prevents me from deciding that Luce means “revolutionary” in the Che Guevara, Simon Bolivar, Joan of Arc sense? Or the aforementioned children’s crusade

People, Satan Is Real And After Your Kids, and among the places very where Satan is like a lion, roaring, looking for and stalking whom he may devour as it reads 1 Peter 5:8 is in these false churches and false Christian movements. This is why we need to flee false teachers and reject their doctrines people, and only seek after the Word of God and those who teach it. There is no need, no reason to compromise or make excuses, because the consequences are too severe. Marilyn and Sarah Hickey and Ron Luce: as Amos 3: 3 says, how can they walk together unless they be agreed?

The Error Of The Evangelical Manifesto

Posted by Job on May 15, 2008

The “Evangelical Manifesto.”   Last Wednesday, a group of prominent
Evangelicals released the “Evangelical Manifesto: A Declaration of
Evangelical Identity and Public Commitment.”  The Steering Committee
includes: Os Guinness; Timothy George, Dean, Beeson Divinity School, Samford
University; Rich Mouw, President, Fuller Theological Seminary; and Dallas
Willard, Professor of Philosophy, University of Southern California.  It has
been signed by apx. 80 “evangelical leaders,” though when a trained eye
looks through the list of signers, it becomes apparent what this document is
really all about.

For those who have been part of the Liveprayer family for a while, you might
remember me mentioning the gutless Dr.Mouw back in December of 2004, who
along with Ravi Zacharias, became pawns used by the Mormons to give them
mainstream credibility.  Here is an excerpt from that 12/07/04 Devotional:
“Mouw preceded Zacharias and amazingly apologized, yes, apologized to the
Mormon crowd of roughly 7,000 stating, ‘We evangelicals have sinned against
you. We have demonized you.’ Since when was exposing the false gospel of the
Mormon cult a sin? That is exactly what we are supposed to do! Also, the
last I checked, those who lead people’s souls into everlasting damnation are
demonic!”

First of all, let me state the obvious.  We already have an “Evangelical
Manifesto,” it is called THE BIBLE and it has the greatest author of all
time…GOD!  The real purpose of this document is to create a shift in power
regarding those who are seen as the Christian leaders of our day and those
who speak for the Christian community.  Many years ago, I had to make some
hard choices.  Do I build a giant ministry organization and preach to the
choir like the rest, putting my voice into the same mix as Falwell,
Robertson, Kennedy, Dobson, Graham, and the others, or follow God’s calling
as a true evangelist and reach out to the lost and hurting souls outside the
four walls of the church, and take on more of a prophetic ministry to reach
this lost world with God’s Truth.  I made the decision to pass on the
comfort, prominence, prestige, and financial security of building another
Christian organization, and chose instead  to give my life reaching the lost
and hurting with the hope of Jesus Christ.

That choice has given me the unique position of being free from the politics
of the “church,” and allowed me to not have to compromise the Truth of the
Bible to keep a “Christian business” going.  Like the prophets in the Old
Testament, I have been in the unique position few are in, to deal with the
issues of the day and in people’s lives without worrying about pleasing men,
only God.  My focus has never had to be about raising money for
infrastructure and operations, only for saving souls.  I have no other
agenda but God’s.  My goals aren’t earthly but heavenly.  My legacy won’t be
in buildings or the temporal things of this world that will one day soon be
gone, but the lives God has used me to impact and the eternal souls of men.

Many of those who put together and signed this document are for the most
part those who I have warned you about in recent years, this emerging group
known as the “Christian left.”  Prominent signers of this murky document are
people like Jim Wallis, founder of Sojourners, and Rick Warren, Pastor of
Saddleback and author of the Purpose Driven Life.  A major portion of this
document is spent repudiating Christians involved in politics, and seeks to
replace the fight for life, marriage, and family issues, with a focus on
world hunger, AIDs in Africa, and environmental issues.   It also lashes out
at those who have the audacity to go into the public arena and take a stand
for Christ based on the Truth of God’s Word.  The document says evangelicals
have often expressed “truth without love,” helping create a backlash against
religion during a “generation of culture warring.”  The fact is, we have
been intimidated into silence by those who represent satan!

This is the mindset fostered by the “seeker,” “emerging church,” and “church
growth” crowd that for the past 15 years have watered down the Gospel and
set aside the absolutes of the Bible to attract warm bodies.  What they have
done is created a new subculture of “Christians” who might be saved, but
live no different than the world and easily embrace the lies of the false
religions, cults, and New Age teachings that are leading the souls of men to
hell.  This is why you have people like Oprah who claim to be a Christian,
yet promote the lies of every New Age guru that comes down the path.  This
is why you have people like Sen. Barak Hussein Obama who claims to be a
Christian, yet votes continually to slaughter babies and redefine God’s Holy
Institution of Marriage.  This is why you have Christians who think people
in a satanic cult like the Mormons will go to Heaven.  This is why you have
people who call themselves “Christians,” but deny that the Bible is the only
Truth there is!

Add to this the prominence of pastors who are little more than motivational
speakers like Robert Schuller and Joel Osteen who go into the secular media
when they want to sell their latest book, and brag bout never talking about
sin or the social issues of our day and refuse to answer the most simple
question of the faith, whether Jesus is the ONLY way to be saved or not.  So
people read their books, watch their TV programs to “feel good” and become
part of this new subculture of “Christians” who have no concept of basic
theology and embrace lies like “there are many roads that lead to God.

Don’t believe me?  Here is a typical email we get daily:  “I’m a
Metaphysical Christian and a Human being a child of GOD. I was baptized at
Saddleback Church with Rick Warren.  There is a very powerful wonderful
movement of consciousness going on right now obviously the old way is not
working very well. Watch a few Videos on Esther Hicks etc GOD bless you
too!”  What a load of garbage.  Metaphysical Christian???  The “old way” is
not working very well?  The old way being the Bible?  Ester Hicks is one of
the more popular New Age teachers out there today.  I wish you could see the
feed back I get daily from the Daily Devotional, from the TV program, from
my appearances on FOX News, CNN, and from the videos we post on YouTube.
People who call themselves “Christians,” yet reject the Bible as the only
Truth there is, and embrace beliefs that are in complete contradiction to
what the Bible teaches.

How did this happen?  It started with the church.  Forty years ago the
mainline denominations brought in pastors who were from liberal seminaries
and denied the inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible.  They quit preaching
the Gospel of Jesus Christ and opted for a social gospel instead.  At the
same time, you had this growing Christian subculture of Christian TV, radio,
and publishing, geared to and marketed to Christians.  Major ministries and
Christian organizations were birthed that generated tens of millions
annually, and for the most part did very little  but preach to the choir and
self perpetuate themselves from one year to the next.

Billions have been raised and squandered on the temporal things of this
world instead of on the work of God.  We have extracted ourselves from the
marketplace, and now not only have the better percentage of two full
generations who have never even been to church, but a new generation of
“Christians” who don’t believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of
God, representing Absolute Truth, and our final authority in all maters.  It
is no wonder our nation is in spiritual freefall and this world we live in
grows darker by the day.  Men of God in days gone by didn’t build great
organizations, they built up men and women to serve the Lord.  They only had
one book, the Bible, and one message, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  They
never compromised the Truth of God’s Word and their only goal was to save
souls!

I love you and care about you so much.  While I agree with 90% of what is in
the “Evangelical Manifesto,” the other 10% makes it a document designed to
give more power and prominence to those in the Christian left,  replace
abortion, marriage, and family issues with issues like world hunger, poverty
and disease, and calls for Christians to be more friendly to non-Christians
by not talking about things like sin and hell in the public.  Just in case
you were wondering, they never contacted me about signing this document.
LOL!!!

I have been warning you for years now about this new and growing group who
make up the Christian left who are now fighting with the old guard on the
Christian right for power and to be the voice of Christians.  The Christian
left waters down the Gospel and lays aside the absolutes of the Bible in
order to attract warm bodies and advance their social agenda, while the
Christian right has been turned into little more than a very lucrative
business that generates hundreds of millions annually around various causes
and is more concerned with power and self preservation than getting actual
results.  This leaves Christians alone to deal with the hurts and pains of
every day life with a very thin foundation to their faith, while the vast
majority of people are living without hope and heading to hell when they
die.

However, there is a remnant, a faithful group of Believers who have not sold
out and whose sole goal is to serve the Lord and see God’s Kingdom advanced.
Praise God for those faithful pastors and ministries that only want to see
the work of the Gospel accomplished as they share the Truth of God’s Word
without compromise and labor to bring the lost to faith in Jesus Christ.
These are the last days my friend.  Jesus is coming at any moment.  There is
no time for playing games.  People are dying and heading to hell every
second.  The focus of all Believers in Jesus Christ has to be on bringing
lost souls to faith in our Lord.  We don’t need an “Evangelical Manifesto,”
we already have one and it is called THE BIBLE!!!

Your friend and brother in Christ,

CNN Say Oprah Winfrey Good Christian Folk!

Posted by Job on April 22, 2008

It is amazing how CNN vehemently denounced all of Oprah Winfrey’s attackers in this matter, and absolutely refused to consider any opposing points of view. For some reason, allowing this woman to distort (and redefine?) Christianity unopposed is very important to these people! Click Here For The Three Step Salvation Plan!
