Rush Limbaugh’s Not Being Allowed To Buy An NFL Team May Be A Bad Sign For American Christians

Posted by Job on October 15, 2009

First, please do not mistake me for being a Rush Limbaugh supporter of any sort. (For the record: I was once a regular listener to his show back when I was an ardent religious right neoconservative Republican, but since then my religious views have changed, resulting in my political views changing – to apolitical –  as well). Also, it is significant that by his own words Rush Limbaugh cannot be considered to be a Christian of any sort, which makes it particularly distressing that so many of my politically conservative Christian brothers and sisters vigorously endorse and allow themselves to be influenced by Limbaugh’s views and count him among their ranks, even to the point of considering him to be a great articulator and defender of the faith and equating an attack on him and his views to being an attack on Christianity. (Such people really need to pay serious attention to the history of Christianity, allow me to recommend The Reformers And Their Stepchildren by Leonard Verduin, a book that would shatter the basis for most religious right – and religious left – delusions.)

Yet the rejection of Rush Limbaugh’s attempt to become a minority owner of an NFL team should still cause Bible-believing Christians some concern. Make no mistake: the opposition to Limbaugh is largely due to his opposition to ideas and things that Christians also consider sinful: abortion, homosexuality, feminism etc. Make no mistake, this has nothing to do with Limbaugh’s racial views. Let me point something out: the NFL has a long history of racism. It is the only major sports league that has an explicit affirmative action program (the despised Rooney rule) because it is the only one that needs it! Limbaugh would have been far more likely to make the NFL less racist than more racist. Also, there is a huge double standard. You would have had a difficult time finding a bigger racist in modern professional sports – or in big business – than Ted Turner. Yet neither the media or civil rights groups said a peep about Ted Turner’s longtime ownership of the Atlanta Braves or the Atlanta Hawks (or for that matter CNN or the Turner Networks). By contrast, the media pressured Major League Baseball into forcing Marge Schott to sell her team!

The difference: Ted Turner openly mocks Christianity. So Turner’s racism is not only never commented on by the media, but it is artfully concealed. Instead, the media talks glowingly of Turner’s “philanthropy”, which JUST HAPPENS to include support for PLANNED PARENTHOOD and U.N. POPULATION CONTROL EFFORTS. Check out this quote where Turner claims that global warming could cause us to become cannibals, and it could turn civilized countries into places like SOMALIA and SUDAN, examples which JUST HAPPEN to be black African nations. Oh yes, this supporter of Darwinian evolution Ted Turner also claims that the world has too many people. Which people would those be, Mr. prominent supporter of “The Origin of Species: By Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life“? But can any of you recall the last time Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton or any of the other types denouncing Limbaugh’s attempt to own an NFL team saying a thing about Turner’s racism EVER?

Now do not mistake this for being just another “liberal media hypocrisy double standard” screed that you can find in any right wing organ like Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, National Review (or sadly far too many evangelical Christian outlets). That the world is evil and hypocritical is to be expected, and that is precisely one of the reasons why Jesus Christ called the church out of the world and commanded us to be separate from it. Instead, my angle is this: the treatment of Limbaugh is still more evidence that this country is becoming ever more hostile to Bible-believing Christians. Don’t be deceived into thinking that it is because of our political views, our “moral values” or what have you. For instance Hollywood gave the rabidly homophobic rapper Eminem award after award and also raved over the allegedly “pro-life” movie Juno (which was actually a very cleverly concealed feminist hatchet job on males and fatherhood). As the movie “The Time Changer” excellently made the case for, it isn’t conservative political views or good family values that Satan – and by extension the world that Satan rules – hates, it is Jesus Christ. That’s why the very same people who attack Christians for opposing abortion and gay rights RARELY IF EVER do the same regarding shari’a law Muslims!

So take up the cause of Rush Limbaugh? I would really dissuade any Bible-believing Christian from doing so. But realize that the media firestorm that resulted from Limbaugh’s attempt to become a minority owner of an NFL team is still more evidence that this nation is becoming ever more hostile to Christians and recognizing it as a sign of the times? That is what you should do. Ironically, Limbaugh is one of the major purveyors of the “America is a Christian nation” nonsense that is actually a false doctrine and form of the religion, one that takes a religion based on faith in the revelation of God’s Son Jesus Christ and turns it into merely a political/cultural belief system. Because of that, many of Limbaugh’s Christian followers are convinced that American Christians will not – or should not – ever face the marginalization and persecution that Christians in other nations do because America and its church are a special covenant nation with a special standing before God. This line of thinking is why so many of the rapture-based movies like “Left Behind” and “The Omega Code” depict America as leading the fight against the anti-Christ, at times with the American president leading the way. However, the truth is that America is part of Babylon, the worldwide political, economic and religious system that exalts itself against God, just like any other nation. If anything, America is a leader in it. America is where the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Federal Reserve are. Freemason and occult emblems are all over our national symbols. And if America didn’t invent violent and occultic movies, pornography, and similar content in heavy metal and rap music, we certainly lead the world in exporting it, and incidentally the same is true with the dissemination of false religious cults (Scientology, Jehovah’s Witnesses, oneness pentecostalism) and religious syncretism, especially with New Age. And yes, America does have an ambassador to the Vatican, and 6 of our 9 Supreme Court justices are Roman Catholics, including at least one Opus Dei member.

So, the prophecies in Revelation apply to America just like everyplace else. America will turn against and persecute its Christians just like every other nation, and America will be judged by God for its treatment of Christians (do not believe John Hagee and other dispensationalists who claim that judgment will be based on the nation’s treatment of Israel, the martyrs that will be avenged in Revelation 6:10 are Christian martyrs, not Jewish ones) just like other nations. And speaking of dispensationalism, in addition to their erroneous claims concerning America and Israel in the last days, the Bible (including Revelation 6) states that the church will have to endure this time as opposed to being “raptured out of it.” So, this Limbaugh episode is more evidence that Christians should be preparing themselves for what is coming in America as opposed to continuing to delude ourselves.

Incidentally, if you are not a Christian, please know that all of the things that are going on in this country and our world, all of the massive problems, were foretold long ago in the Bible. There is no excuse for continuing to disbelieve the Bible and continuing to rebel against Jesus Christ. Please end your rebellion in Jesus Christ today. The Religious Right: A Roman Catholic Plot Of Pat Buchanan Hatched In 1966!

Posted by Job on May 19, 2008

www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/05/26/080526fa_fact_packer

Now The Silence of the Fundamentalist Lambs by Gary North, a former Reagan official, states that the religious rights true origins were much earlier by way of the Rockefeller crowd, except that the original effort was on northern liberal and moderate Protestants and Roman Catholics. They did not regard fundamentalists and conservative evangelicals as politically important because of the doctrines of such groups. North states that  the political mobilization of conservative Christians took the new world order crowd by surprise, and that they quickly needed to be co – opted before things got out of hand. This article above sheds a little light on how this happened. We already know that Rockefeller employee and freemason Billy Graham (and many similar itinerant evangelists) had spent decades laying the ecumenical groundwork between these two groups, plowing and fertilizing the soil (and you know what fertilizer is!). According to the article above, Buchanan and Nixon:

From Day One, Nixon and I talked about creating a new majority,” Buchanan told me recently, sitting in the library of his Greek-revival house in McLean, Virginia, on a secluded lane bordering the fenced grounds of the Central Intelligence Agency. “What we talked about, basically, was shearing off huge segments of F.D.R.’s New Deal coalition, which L.B.J. had held together: Northern Catholic ethnics and Southern Protestant conservatives—what we called the Daley-Rizzo Democrats in the North and, frankly, the Wallace Democrats in the South.”

Now most of that article is merely liberal ideological nonsense, but it contained that little nugget. That Buchanan later went on to oppose the Bush family and ultimately leave the Republican Party is of little consequence. Buchanan was a key force in the rise of Nixon and of Reagan after him … a movement made possible by political ecumenism. Buchanan got out because the political ecumenism movement that he started now includes support for abortion, homosexuality, illegal immigration, and of course global economic and political controls via environmentalism. These are things that the new leaders of the GOP led by such figures as John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mitt Romney, etc. – and truthfully by George H. W. Bush – have in store. It makes no matter who wins this fall. If McCain wins, they will say that it was because he moved the party to the left. If Obama wins, they will say that the party will have to move even further to the left than McCain to win. And no matter how far left the GOP goes, the religious right will follow. Most of the leaders of the religious right are bought and paid for props and plants like Pat Robertson, appearing with Al Sharpton in a global warming commercial sponsored by Al Gore, and is China’s #1 advocate in the United States, and they command a large following. And most of the rest of the followers have such a heavy investment in the religious right that they are not going to leave anytime soon, and their loyalty to George W. Bush even as he has come out and claimed that everyone worships the same god and David Kuo’s book detailing how Bush mocks Christians behind their backs demonstrates it.

Some people are rejecting this movement only because of frustration over it not working, and not because the whole movement was theologically suspect to begin with. For instance, consider the term “Judeo – Christianity.” It cannot be supported Biblically, especially when you consider that modern Judaism is not Sinai Judaism, but the creation of the Pharisees that 1) rejected Jesus Christ, 2) hid while the Romans was destroying their nation (the creator of rabbinic Judaism, Yochanan ben Zakkai, cut a deal with the Roman generals, was allowed to take scrolls from the temple, and escape), and 3) kicked the Messianic Jews out of the synagogues by placing a curse against Christians in their liturgy. It only makes sense politically and culturally. Roman Catholics accept it only because of their opposition to Islam, and Protestant Christians only accept it because of dispensationalism (and opposition to Islam).

It is becoming more and more apparent that the religious right is a secular movement with another agenda and another master. I am no fan of Pat Buchanan, but the fact that he himself left the religious right when he realized that he was but a pawn in a larger game speaks volumes.

National Religious Broadcasters Using Oneness Modalist Heretic TD Jakes To Get Out The Vote

Posted by Job on May 12, 2008

Driving to work this morning viewing the effects of the terrible thunderstorms that spared my neighborhood but hard hit the one right next to mine, I was listening to Christian radio. Out of the blue comes TD Jakes’ booming voice. In it, he first speaks of how much he loves America and so forth. I immediately thought of Jakes doing this to exploit anger over Barack Hussein Obama, Michelle Obama, and Jeremiah Wright’s considerably less than jingoistic statements and actions. Then he went into his exhortation spiel for people to register and get out to vote.

First, I see Lifeway Bookstores, owned by the Southern Baptist Convention, selling TD Jakes’ doctrinal error (oneness pentecostalism and the Word of Faith/prosperity doctrine are but a few of his MANY problems) and now the National Religious Broadcasters are using this guy. I had been using the NRB as a sort of a refuge from the blatant charismania that you will find on The Word Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daystar, etc. So I just ignored the heavy Pat Robertson presence on the channel, as well as their “white Europeans are the descendants of the children of Israel … the Danube River is so named because of the tribe of Dan” show that comes on early in the morning. I also ignored their embrace of the Ellen White Seventh Day Adventist cult. So I suppose that I cannot cast NRB aside on Jakes’ account, since the ones that I just named are hardly better – if anything some might be worse – or else I would be reacting out of a personal dislike for Jakes rather than on principle. (On the other hand, Slice of Laodicea has criticized NRB, albeit for different reasons, such as this post stating that not one red cent of NRB’s $5 BILLION IN ASSETS is being used to defend the faith from Oprah Winfrey.)

Incidentally, speaking of TD Jakes and PR spots, he has another one out (I did not catch the sponsor!) promoting single sex education, saying that “boys need their own schools so that they will be able to, you know, romp and stuff (his choice of words not mine!) and that boys learn differently from girls and needed their own classrooms in order to be accommodated. So … it looks like Jakes is not that far removed from Jeremiah Wright’s separatist doctrines after all?

I have to be honest, back when I was part of the religious right and allowing my worldview to be shaped by the Washington Times and the National Review, I was in full agreement. But now … I just recall reading about this inner city public school that went all male. Sure, the discipline problems decreased and the test scores went up. But when they interviewed the boys that attended the school, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WANTED THEM TO BRING THE GIRLS BACK! Why? Because, er … BOYS LIKE GIRLS! Or at least they are supposed to anyway. Perhaps now that T.D. Jakes is on board with the new world order’s gay rights agenda (and yes this is relevant … perhaps due to his son) he thinks it is OK. To me, the whole single sex education thing … who wants it? Certainly not the kids. Not the administrators or teachers. Parents go for it only because they are desperate for any hook or angle to improve the failing school systems that the government is ruining on purpose. Not even the old fashioned religious sorts – of which I am one – think that it is a good idea anymore, where you were supposed to keep boys and girls separate in their little boarding or finishing schools (where they were supposed to look OH SO CUTE in their little uniforms I guess) UNTIL GRADUATION DAY WHEN YOU MARRY THEM OFF.

Sorry people, but society has changed. Not all of the changes have been for the good, but methinks that one of the most important things for a boy to learn from school is how to treat a lady and how to behave yourself in their presence. For some of us guys, those things do not come naturally, and you only learn them through trial and error. Especially error. (If you don’t learn to handle competition and rejection in junior high and high school, how on earth are you supposed to handle being turned down for jobs, promotions, college choices, etc. later in life?) So … HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO LEARN THOSE THINGS IF THERE ARE NO GIRLS AROUND TO LEARN THEM FROM?

Like I said, TD Jakes may have his own reasons for wanting to turn your local public school into Morehouse College or similar, and whatever they are I oppose them 100%. All the more reason why the Southern Baptist Convention should not be selling this guy’s books and NRB shouldn’t be using him for their get out the vote campaign. But I suppose that this oneness anti – Trinitarian heretic is just too good at making money and moving public opinion for these people to pass up. That is, unless they are actually along with Jakes, on his side. After all, the Southern Baptists refuse to do anything about the likes of New Age heretic Erwin McManus and Council on Foreign Relations worker Rick Warren (and Richard Land too?), and as stated earlier, Al Sharpton Al Gore global warming propagandist partner Pat Robertson is a major partner with the NRB.

October 11 2008 Is The Million March For Freemason God On Washington

Posted by Job on November 9, 2007

Was driving around listening to the black talk radio shows to see if they were going to say anything about either Pat Robertson endorsing Rudy Giuliani (the civil rights leaders will never admit it but the Republicans nominating a presidential candidate that is acceptable to the white social left: abortionists, gay rights supporters, feminists, gun controllers, etc. but atrocious on civil rights has always been their worst nightmare) or Charles Grassley investigating Eddie Long, Paula White, and Creflo Dollar (the prior day a caller had asserted that it was an attack on black leadership, and that even the inclusion of White, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, and Kenneth Copeland fit the bill because due to their multi – racial congregations they were still influential in and important to the black community, de facto black leaders like Bill Clinton … yes there are people that actually believe this!) and found out about the planning of the Million March for God on Washington D.C. Here is the official website, an unofficial weblog is millionmarch4god.blogspot.com.

The Christian God? Of course not. Apart from the fact that these are liberals who will not even mention issues like abortion or gay marriage, but the event is designed to be universalistic, open and inclusive of all faiths. As a result, this show on a talk radio station that is mostly dedicated to Christian programming featured a female Christian pastor, a male pastor who thinks that God will not condemn homosexuality, and a member of the Nation of Islam all recruiting the various members of their faiths to register for and make plans to attend the march. And of course they explicitly and positively referenced the 1995 Million Man March as the model and inspiration for this gathering, despite the fact that the Million Man March WAS NOT a universalistic affair but instead entirely a Nation of Islam affair that specifically rejected and mocked Christianity (which accounted for the media’s shocking general embrace of it) and served as a recruitment tool for that cult group.

Speaking of the Nation of Islam, did you know that their founders were freemasons? See this link! Now the Nation of Islam teaches its followers that they are opponents of freemasonry, which they claim is second only to Judaism as the representative of white power attempting to dominate the globe and enslave all people of color. But the truth is that Fard Muhammad and Elijah Muhammad were secretly low level freemasons. The Nation of Islam’s teachings have a lot in common with religious cults and movements started or infiltrated by freemasons (i.e. Mormonism and Kenneth Copeland Word of Faith Christianity … please realize that actual Muslims regard the Nation of Islam as a bothersome cult with heretical teachings) in that they teach that God is a man and that man can perfect himself and progress through works and obtaining secret knowledge. The Nation of Islam’s innovation is a teaching that there is no afterlife per se but rather heaven and hell are conditions on earth (hence Farrakhan’s song “white man’s heaven is a black man’s hell”) and that Christianity tricked blacks with false promises of heaven as a means of social control (the fact that actual Muslims also believe in heaven is not spoken of).

Louis Farrakhan has attributed the disproportionate wealth and power that according to him Jews possess to their possession of secret knowledge, and has repeatedly privately and publicly begged Jews to teach him kabbalah – which like many Farrakhan is fascinated with, has studied, but is frustrated because he cannot fully understand it – so that he can use it to “liberate and empower black people politically, economically, and socially” (with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam as our leaders and the sole possessors of this knowledge of course). But like Mormonism for whites the Nation of Islam represented an attempt to get black Christians to abandon Christianity for freemasonry. Having failed at that, Farrakhan in the late 1990s after a severe illness mostly abandoned his direct attacks on Christianity in favor of an open partnership with civil rights leaders. Please know that such collaborations have existed in secret for decades, and there have also been prior attempts to go public with the relationship, most prominently when Ben Chavis was NAACP president in the 1990s. However, one of the civil rights leaders that worked the longest and hardest with the Nation of Islam behind the scenes and tried to bring the relationship out into the open? Kweise Mfume, former leader of the Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP, and a freemason.

Oh yes, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Thurgood Marshall, W.E. B. Du Bois and Booker T. Washington (alleged enemies just as the Clintons and Bushes are supposed to be), and tons more current and former black leaders are on that list. (Martin Luther King, Jr., despite not being a Christian in any sense, was not a freemason by the way. It is interesting to note, however, that despite what the media and education system would have you believe, Martin Luther King, Jr. was never at any time a leader of freemason W.E.B. Du Bois’ NAACP, but rather started his own SCLC organization that was a rival and even opponent before they too started collaborating. ) However, no known members of the Nation of Islam are on it because they are not allowed to make their affiliations with freemasonry known. The information about the freemasonry and the Nation of Islam comes from a rival sect Moorish Science (gnostics!) who claim that Christianity, Islam, Judaism, freemasonry, etc. all possess only a stolen subset of their secret knowledge.

So now it comes to this. The Nation of Islam member spoke of the purpose of this DC gathering was to have all of the participants march around the mall seven times, replicating the incident with Joshua and the wall of Jericho. He stated that “the effect of the combined spiritual energy of all of those people coming together in agreement of one purpose will result in spiritual walls coming down.” The language regarding the tower of Babel incident in Genesis 11 is why language like that always makes me take notice.

Of course, what is left of the Nation of Islam will be there in full force because it is their rally to begin with. But due to the timing of the event and the involvement of civil rights leaders. The radio hosts stated the involvement of Al Sharpton and de facto – and probably more influential – black leader Tom Joyner. As with the original Million Man March, Jesse Jackson – due to his more moderate and mainstream reputation – will have to sign on later. Black Christians will attend this believing it to be a huge rally dedicated to keeping Rudolph Giuliani out of office. The media will wait until AFTER Giuliani has the GOP nomination to remind black Americans of things like Amadou Diallo, Patrick Dorismond, Abner Louima, etc. in order to get them to this rally to stop him from defeating their beloved Clinton/Obama ticket.

So now you know. The question is: what are you going to do about it?
