The Murder of Late Term Abortionist George Tiller By Scott Roeder: A Warning To Christians

Posted by Job on May 31, 2009

News that notorious late term abortionist George Tiller received the very sort of violent death that for 30 years he meted out to innocent unborn children reminded me of debates that I used to have with a liberal that I once knew. This fellow was extremely well versed in suspect and intellectually dishonest arguments, but there was one in particular that he absolutely nailed me on:  though both conservatives and liberals have their extremists, in this country it is the conservative extremists that have always been more prone to committing acts of political and ideological violence. Now I took great offense to this statement, because even though the fellow who made the comment did not intend any religious overtones when he made the statement at the time I was a Bush Republican who equated “conservative” with “Christian.”  However, some informal research on my own (not that I am a professional researcher i.e. a journalist, historian, statistician, etc.) not only confirmed the point that the fellow was trying to make – that the clear majority of political violence that had occurred in this country was committed by conservatives – but also one that he was not trying to make and was not interested in, which is that many of the conservatives who resort to political, ideological and religious violence in this country do in fact profess to be Christians.

Of course, the media has the habit of claiming as professed Christians those who are not, including Eric Rudolph (who set off bombs at the Olympics and at abortion clinics and homosexual nightclubs in the 1990s) and Timothy McVeigh. Quite the contrary, Rudolph and McVeigh both renounced Christianity. However, the sad truth is that doing so with McVeigh and Rudolph were never necessary, as there were plenty of right wing terrorists who were professed Christians to choose from! And I have to tell you, news that conservative Christians constitute the single biggest block of Americans that support torture and the war in Iraq, it is no surprise.

Now this is not intended as a broadside against conservatism. I myself am apolitical and attack both sides. I attack conservatives more because conservatives maintain the demonstrably false position that their movement most faithfully represents and advances the doctrines of the Bible where liberals make no such claim. In other words, where Christian followers of the Republican Party and the conservative movement are often likely people who are sincere but deceived, there is no way that any supporter of Barack HUSSEIN Obama, who placed Kathleen Sebelius – the friend and supporter of Tiller, the nation’s most notorious abortion doctor because of his willingness to perform procedures so gruesome that even the vast majority of his peers that kill babies for a living refuse to do – to lead the vital Health and Human Services Department can claim that they are supporting someone who respects, let alone obeys, the Bible.

But the question remains: why is it that in America more politically motivated violence comes from those who claim to be motivated by a literal interpretation of the Bible than by, say, adherents to the liberation theology of Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s so-called “pastor” Jeremiah Wright? A similar question: why did so many Bible believing Christians back the Iraq War and continue to do so even after it was exposed as a complete fraud and total nonsense, and why do so many support torture? Why did so many Bible believing Christians support the increase of state power when that very state power has been used against Bible believing Christians for centuries, from the birth of the faith in the fascist Roman Empire to modern times in communist and fascist states?

I wonder if the answer to this was found in a discussion board on the Jerusalem Post that dealt with the issue of violent crime in America. The fellow stated that it was a longtime teaching of the rabbis that where full keeping of a Torah made a person better than he was before (i.e. better than a pagan or a nonobservant person) partial keeping of the Torah made a person more evil than he was before (i.e. more evil than a pagan or an atheist). Because of the spiritual nature of the law of God, only keeping its whole counsel made a person more like God, where keeping only part of it actually makes them more evil. Now normally I am suspicious of the teachings of the rabbis, but this is one instance where the saying actually correlates with what the Bible says. The Old Testament prophets, for one, castigated Israel for only keeping part of the law i.e. the sacrifices and observances while committing murder, idolatry, and injustice. Jesus Christ picked up this theme against the Sadducees, scribes and Pharisees, including this devastating comment: Matthew 23:15 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.”

So where legitimate Christianity makes a person better, more like Jesus Christ, false Christianity makes a person worse, more evil, and further people reared in or converted into false Christianity become twice as worse as the first generation of false Christians! And according to the same statements of Jesus Christ, this means that America and its church is in a whole lot of trouble.

Now while American Christians certainly have a long sad history of not acting like Christians (and refusing to admit it, see “The American Patriot Study Bible” and its whitewashing of history) this is more about the contemporary scene. You see, we are over four decades into the strong delusion and great deception of the American evangelical church known as the religious right. Its earliest modern form was when (Roman Catholic) Pat Buchanan was able to garner religious support to help get Richard Nixon into office. Sometime later the movement became a full fledged one, motivated primarily by Roe v. Wade, to aid the election of JIMMY CARTER. (Few religious right leaders will acknowledge that Jimmy Carter was their first candidate.) After Carter turned on them, groups like the Moral Majority, the Christian Coalition, etc. were formed to back Ronald Reagan and the rest is history.

However, the religious right, while certainly right, was never religious. Not only was it an ecumenical movement, bringing Protestants together with Mary and angel and pope worshiping Roman Catholics (something that would have been impossible without Vatican II and Billy Graham), but actually an interfaith movement, involving Christians, Catholics (whom I take the position constitutes an entirely different religion), Jews and atheists. Further, before September 11th, George W. Bush was actually trying to bring Muslims into the coalition as well!  We all know from the Bible that coming together with unbelievers to advance Christianity is something that is forbidden, but instead for the past 30 years we have had Christians working hard to advance the religious agendas of Catholics and Jews!

Further still, the religious right never advanced actual Christianity, concerned around the death and resurrection of the Word of God Jesus Christ and living by the commandments of that same Christ. Instead, the religious right advanced a civil religion of morals, values and culture, what the Salvation Army founder William Booth would call Christianity without Christ and religion without the Holy Spirit. There are two reasons for this. The first is that if you promote actual Christianity, then the Catholics, Jews, and non-observant Christians will all leave in a heartbeat. The second is that actual Christianity is not something that will be advanced by governments and their laws and armies, but instead is a religion of the heart. So instead of using the true message of Jesus Christ in evangelism, we try to tell people how to behave, not so that they will avoid an eternity in the lake of fire and be reconciled to Jesus Christ, but so that they will be “good people” or “good Americans” according to our own estimations. And of course, this causes more than a few people with atrocious personal and spiritual lives (adulterers, drug addicts, liars, racists, tax cheats etc.) being called “good Americans” just because they have the “right” political views. I am tempted to call it a form of godliness that denies the power thereof, but now that I think of it, it is not even that. Instead, I am calling it an entirely different belief system that competes with Christianity that is precious little different from the deist philosophy of most of our founding fathers and the very similar naturalist – deist philosophy/religion of the ancient Greeks. Regarding the Greeks, consider Aristotle and Plato, who were monotheists, but their god was most certainly not the God of the Bible, and it is not surprising that Aristotle and Plato in their philosophy rejected the immorality, decadence and confusion of the polytheists and instead promoted a personal lifestyle and society governed by morality, civility and ethics.

So now, we are entering our second generation of Christians whose religious worldviews have been shaped more by the political pronouncements and activism of James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins (and let’s face it, the Vatican and Zionist Jews) than by the Bible or any sound teacher thereof. Three pieces of evidence of this sad state. Billy Graham is able to state publicly that he no longer believes that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and he and his ministry suffer absolutely no negative consequences whatsoever. George W. Bush states that Christians and Muslims worship the same God and no one bats an eye, and later states that the Bible is not literally true or the final authority, and none of the evangelical leaders who backed this fellow for eight years – even to the point of supporting George W. Bush’s war in Iraq based on the idea that Bush was a devout man given to much study and prayer whose actions and policies were being guided by the Holy Spirit and thus reflected God’s Will – didn’t say a peep. And then there is the Carrie Prejean debacle (and before her the Sarah Palin disaster, which continues to this day).

Now regarding Prejean, I really never criticized her that much, only the people that were using her. Why? Because I honestly have a difficult time arriving at how she knew any better. Based on my own experience growing up firmly believing in A) premillennial dispensationalism, B) you can lose your salvation and C) one had to speak in tongues in order to be saved, I am fairly convinced that many Christians – especially young ones – read and interpret the Bible for themselves, but instead interpret it according to the framework given to them by their pastors, parents, teachers and other role models in the faith (which now includes televangelists, political Christians, recording artists and other Chri$tian celebritie$). So how else are we going to avoid raising a generation of Christian kids who firmly believe that evidence of the faith is not keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ, but having the right position on homosexuality and abortion? What else are we going to produce but a generation of Christian kids who believe that the Word of God became flesh and died on a cross and raised from the dead so that we could get  a pro-life majority on the Supreme Court, post the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom, and defeat homosexual marriage initiatives?

How many of the kids in this generation know that abortion and homosexuality were commonly practiced in the Roman Empire during the time of Jesus Christ and His apostles, yet Christ and His apostles rarely even mentioned that fact, let alone tried to change it? Read the New Testament: it only deals with the sins of the world when speaking of the world’s judgment in Revelation, the Olivet discourse, and other eschatological passages. Otherwise, the only sins that are dealt with are the sins of the people of God, the Jews in the time of Christ and the church after the coming of the Holy Spirit. The New Testament gives only two methods of dealing with the sins of the world: A) the church remaining separate from the world (which again, the religious right rejects by definition) and B) evangelizing the lost, which of course removes the sinner from the world and makes it incumbent upon him that he practice A).

Instead, the Christian conservative movement rejects the teachings and example of Jesus Christ and His apostles by trying to force the world into being partially righteous part of the time, or even being completely unrighteous all the time so long as you A) have the right beliefs and B) can cover it up. And in the process of trying to get the world to behave, Christian conservatives allow Christians – people in the church – to behave however they want and in many cases believe much of whatever they want (so long as their beliefs are “right” on abortion, homosexuality, taxes, military, etc.) And you can see the result. Abortion rates in evangelical churches are the same as they are in the overall culture, and divorce rates are even higher. (Again, so long as you “believe” something is wrong in a political sense, how you actually live your life is of little consequence or concern.)

Those are just a few indicators: there are others. So the question is: what is American Christianity going to be like 20-30 years from now, when – unless the hand of God intervenes – the current generation of evangelicals reared in what is at best a theologically shallow and doctrinally suspect Christianity and what is at worst an entirely new religion altogether are leading our churches, seminaries and Bible colleges? I believe that what Jesus Christ spoke of in Matthew 23:15 will be the result, and just as the religious leaders of that day made it very difficult for the early church (to the point of killing and driving off not a few of them) Christians who desire to learn and keep the true commandments of Jesus Christ will face extreme difficulties. A lot of Christians are talking about how Barack HUSSEIN Obama is going to open the door to mistreatment of Christians, but I honestly wonder if these Christians had better look at other professed Christians! Because please recall that the Bible says that by delivering Christians over to the authorities to be killed, people will consider themselves to be doing a service to God! So, it won’t be ACLU Human Rights Campaign NAMBLA abortion rights atheist secular humanist liberals (or Muslims for that matter) doing this to us to fulfill that prophecy. It will be adherents to a Christless, cross – less, Holy Spirit – less moral and civil religion (that very much lends itself to either universalism or at the very least pluralism) that will be closely tied to the exaltation of the state and culture, and perhaps ultimately be led the beast of Revelation, the anti-Christ himself!

So Christians, take a long hard look at Scott Roeder and consider if he is precisely the sort of zealot for an external form of religion based on partial belief and adherence that persecuted Jesus Christ (falsely accusing Him and sending Him to the cross) in the past and will do the same to true members of His church in the future. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the great persecutors of the American church in the future are not Muslims, Barack HUSSEIN Obama liberals, but “Judeo-Christians”? (By the way, “Judeo-Christianity” or “Judeo-Christian values” or “Judeo-Christian culture does not exist. Judaism and Christianity are two different religions, and furthermore modern Judaism and Christianity have no more to do with each other than does Christianity and Islam. So they are a contradiction. Further, Christianity has nothing to do with “values” or “culture” as those are temporal things of this world while Jesus Christ and His kingdom are spiritual and eternal. Now I must say that if you didn’t know this already and moreover are now rejecting it upon reading this, well then you are precisely one of those who is likely to either persecute the church in the future, consent to it, or do nothing to stop it that I am speaking of.)

Lila Rose Regularly Catching Planned Parenthood Illegally Covering For Child Molestors On Tape!

Posted by Job on May 28, 2009

Now of course, when civil rights groups do the same thing in order to catch companies that refuse to hire blacks and landlords who refuse to rent to blacks, liberals applaud. But in the case of Rose catching Planned Parenthood breaking the law, PRO – ABORTIONISTS LIKE BONNIE ERBE WANT HER ARRESTED! See article below.

By Dan Whitcomb

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – With a video camera hidden in her backpack, college student Lila Rose has become a rising star in the U.S. anti-abortion movement for her clandestine tactics in taking on Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest provider of surgical abortions.

Rose stages her own sting operations at Planned Parenthood clinics, posing as a pregnant teenage girl to shine a light on what she says is the taxpayer-subsidized organization’s cover-up of sexual abuse.

She claims Planned Parenthood counselors routinely ignore their duty to report statutory rape when dealing with young girls impregnated by older men and often tell them to lie about their age or the identity of their sex partners rather than alert authorities.

Rose, a 20-year-old history major at University of California, Los Angeles, posts the secretly obtained tapes on the website of her nonprofit group, LiveAction.org, prompting authorities in three states to launch investigations of Planned Parenthood.

“Planned Parenthood is looking at these young girls as a plumbing problem: ‘We’ll get you that abortion and send you on your way,'” Rose told Reuters in an interview. “And that’s disrespecting two human lives. It’s destroying her pre-born child and sending her back to an abuser.”

A spokesman for Planned Parenthood declined to discuss the specific cases involving Rose but said the organization has strict policies and procedures regarding mandatory reporting and takes seriously laws protecting minors.

“In rare instances where health center employees violate those policies, immediate corrective action is taken,” he said.

Thirty-six years after the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in the landmark Roe v. Wade case that termination of pregnancy was legal, abortion is still a bitterly debated social and political issue in the United States.

A Gallup poll conducted earlier this month showed 51 percent of Americans identified themselves as “pro-life.”

INVESTIGATIONS

Because minors cannot legally consent to sex with an adult, health providers are required to alert authorities when an underage girl has been impregnated by an older man.

A grand jury in Marion County, Indiana, is investigating Planned Parenthood based on Rose’s videotapes and authorities in Tennessee and Arizona say they are reviewing the matter.

Officials in Tennessee and Orange County, California, have considered suspending public funds to the organization.

Rose’s activities have won her support from conservatives, anti-abortion activists and some child abuse experts and umbrage from abortion rights supporters — at least one urging donations to Planned Parenthood in her name.

Planned Parenthood clinics have posted Rose’s picture to alert workers and U.S. News and World Report blogger Bonnie Erbe demanded to know why she had not been arrested for trespassing or fraud.

Rose, who was raised in a large family in California and started LiveAction.Org at the age of 15, decided to conduct her own investigation after seeing Planned Parenthood sued by girls who said the clinics covered up their sexual abuse and reading a study that found that the practice was common.

Walking into two Los Angeles area Planned Parenthood clinics with a hidden video camera in March 2007, Rose, then 18, told the staff she was 15 and had been impregnated by her 23-year-old boyfriend.

She says the workers at the first center encouraged her to lie about her age so that they would not have to report statutory rape. At the second center, she says, counselors aggressively pushed her to have an abortion.

Since then, Rose has conducted stings at six other clinics, pretending to be a 13- or 14-year-old girl carrying the baby of a much older man. She says staff members at all six clinics told her they did not care about her age or would not report it and in three instances instructed her to lie.

“The laws are set up so that the children don’t have to ask for help. It’s the job of mandated reporters to be looking at this girl and figuring out her well being. Is she OK? Who is her sexual partner?” Rose said.

“And it’s set up that way because these girls are dealing with shame, fear, manipulation. They can’t say, ‘Hey, he’s 21, make the report please.'”

Black Racists Trying To Keep Black Kids Unnecessarily Languishing In Foster Care

Posted by Job on May 27, 2008

Stories like this: Major changes urged in transracial adoption force me to remember the Bible verse that says the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. But the notion that these people are willing to let black kids, who make up 32% of foster children, sit in foster care until they are able to find either black parents or liberal white parents (i.e. those willing to sit through “diversity training” brainwashing) shows how evil the human heart can get. It is hilarious that some of the groups pushing this – the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, the North American Council on Adoptable Children, the Child Welfare League of America, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the National Association of Black Social Workers (note: the late Dave Thomas was the one that gave us the Wendy’s fast food chain) – are now denying that they oppose transracial adoption. I know that before this 1994 law was passed BY A REPUBLICAN CONGRESS, many of these black social worker and foster care groups were on record as opposing transracial adoption. They stated that the refusal of the state to fully fund social welfare and public education as well as law enforcement and economic policies created broken homes in the black community, causing black kids to disproportionately go into foster care, and allowing whites to adopt those kids amounted to black genocide because these kids were removed from the black community and raised according to the white value system. It was, you know, a conspiracy by the white man to destroy the black community by creating the conditions where black children would be taken from their homes and raised to appreciate quiche’, bluegrass music, Sansabelt slacks, Julia Roberts, and other stuff that white people like

Look, I am not making this up! I remember the debates in black magazines (i.e. Ebony, Jet, Essence) over this topic, and it would also be reported in mainstream media outlets. That professional black people were so bold to state in the mainstream media that black children would be better off staying in foster care waiting for blacks to adopt them than allowing them than allowing whites to adopt them – claiming that not only those black kids but the overall black community would benefit – shows how deeply embedded Jeremiah Wright – James Cone Afrocentric thinking is within the black leadership. And that so many states actually listened to these people and adopted laws and policies honoring this thinking shows that it took a federal act of Congress to put it to a stop shows how tolerant not a few powerful whites are of this thinking.

Now I was not being fair by blaming this thinking on Jeremiah Wright and James Cone. Truthfully, it was the mindset that developed rather quickly among certain black intellectuals and was reinforced in certain black professional organizations (i.e. education, social work) that the black community needed Great Society programs to survive. I still remember the fight over the 1996 welfare reform bill, where very successful educated black people – including those serving in Congress, as mayors, and in elite government and university positions – actually claimed that reforming welfare would lead to hundreds of thousands of blacks starving to death and still more dying on the streets of exposure. Once the mentality was created and accepted that the black community needed Great Society programs to survive, an attack on those programs – including mentioning the simple fact that the programs were poorly designed and implemented, were causing a great many severe unintended consequences, and were badly in need of reform – became not only an attack on the political and economic aspirations of the black community, but literally a desire to see black women and children starve to death in the streets. So, it then quickly became possible to blame everything wrong in the black community with a failure to fully fund these programs, and from there it was a logical leap to how the failure to do so was a planned conspiracy to destroy the black community from without.

It is not dissimilar from the negative consequences that the pro – abortion people claim would happen as a result of making this infanticide illegal: millions of women dying from botched illegal abortions, and millions more unable to complete their educations or have careers because they keep getting pregnant. Both such arguments result from a lack of critical thinking. Great Society programs were implemented in the 1960s, abortion became widely available in places other than, say CALIFORNIA (thanks to Ronald Reagan!) in the early 1970s. If black people had been able to make it in America for hundreds of years prior to the Great Society, and women had been able to finish college, have careers, and avoid being slaughtered in botched abortions prior to Roe v. Wade, and if black people and women are at this moment living in places where abortion is still illegal/unavailable and there is nothing resembling the Great Society – this is the case in the vast majority of the world by the way … such things are luxuries enjoyed by wealthy societies in the west – what causes one to think that such things are essential for survival?

So, this thinking is not James Cone – Jeremiah Wright black liberation theology. However, this thinking IS very tolerant of black liberation theology, and likewise black liberation theology is very tolerant of this thinking. Probably because they come from the same mold and are cut from the same cloth. A person who agrees with one truly has little basis for rejecting the other. It is great when these people are proven wrong. Though the John Ashcroft – Newt Gingrich welfare bill was very flawed for a variety of reasons (J.C. Watts attempted to address its flaws but was not allowed to), black people are not exactly dying in the streets. And the black community did in fact survive the nefarious attempt to destroy it by allowing whites to adopt blacks out of foster care. But no matter, this mindset will just find something else to move onto.

While Campaigning in Kentucky Hillary Clinton Hears Sermon On Infidelity

Posted by Job on May 19, 2008

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/05/19/campaigning-in-kentucky-clinton-hears-sermon-on-infidelity

From the article, it took place in a United Methodist Church. “What was likely less of a treat was Pastor Paul Fryman’s sermon she heard Sunday morning at Bowling Green’s State Street United Methodist Church on marriage and adultery entitled “When the Devil Whispers Over Your Shoulder.” Pastor Fryman launched into his sermon with Matthew 5, verse 27, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Clinton did not speak at the service, nor was she recognized at any point from those on the altar, instead sitting quietly in the second pew praying and singing along with the rest of the congregation. She smiled broadly as a baby was baptized and carried down the aisle by the pastor.”

Apparently this was not the sort of liberal United Methodist Church that Hillary Clinton is used to attending … Clinton’s Methodist crowd is the sort that formed the Interfaith Alliance to oppose the Christian Coalition. In addition to generally supporting gay marriage and abortion, the Interfaith Alliance’s “pastors” were among the main ones that accused Bill Clinton’s critics of being “judgmental” and “hypocritical” in the 1990s (well then again if it was Henry Hyde, Bob Livingston, Bob Barr, Larry Craig, David Vitter, Newt Gingrich that were criticizing …). As such, it is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY that such “pastors” spend much time on Matthew 5:27. So, this clearly represented a case of terrible vetting by Hillary Clinton’s terrible campaign, the same campaign that did not even know about proportional allocation of delegates, has run out of money, did not organize for the caucuses, and had backup plan in case the race continued after Super Tuesday. As a matter of fact, Clinton’s campaign has been so terribly run that you would almost think that they wanted Obama to win …

The Media Is FALSELY CLAIMING That Most Black Churches Support Jeremiah Wright And Black Liberation Theology!

Posted by Job on May 2, 2008

How many black followers of Martin Luther King, Jr. would have done so had they known that Martin Luther King rejected the deity of Jesus Christ? The media made sure that King’s black Christian followers did not know the fellow’s true theological – let alone political – beliefs, for they knew that had they done so, a huge percentage of King’s followers would have abandoned him and the civil rights movement in general. Please recall: despite the heavy attention given them by the media and the historical romanticism of them, Malcolm X’s Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers had a combined membership of less than a million. The reason is that even though the dire conditions in the black community made a large percentage of blacks receptive to political and economic radicalism, both the Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers suffered greatly in their efforts to recruit blacks because of their requirement that blacks overtly reject Jesus Christ. But these same blacks, however, were more than willing to follow a political movement disguised with the exterior trappings of orthodox Christianity, and the media was more than willing to keep the ruse going, just as they are more than willing to allow white evangelicals to be deceived by the religious right. How many white evangelicals know that George W. Bush lost a Texas Congressional race to a pro – life Democrat solely because of his stand on abortion? To the extent that the media even reported that race, they simply repeated the Bush line that he lost the race because he was branded as a Yankee carpetbagging interloper.

So now, the media is reporting that most black preachers either preach or support on some level Jeremiah Wright’s heretical abomination theology. Just as in the white community, you have black churches that are theologically conservative, theologically liberal, and theologically moderate. You also have churches that are not so much theological as they are traditional, and others that attempt to be modernistic. Now while there are few black churches that would legitimately qualify as fundamentalist, the percentage of liberal churches is far higher in the white community. As a matter of fact, were it not for denominations like the National Baptist Convention and the Progressive Baptist Convention getting involved with civil rights leaders and Democratic politics, and for some of the other black denominations hiring black preachers educated at the far more liberal white seminaries from similar denominations (i.e. African Methodist Episcopal churches hiring black graduates of very liberal United Methodist seminaries) there would be far fewer black liberal churches. Now I will grant you that in My Main Concern With Barack HUSSEIN Obama: His Victory Would Make Liberation Theology Seem Rick Warren Purpose Driven! I stated that a Barack Obama victory would result in wide acceptance of black liberation theology in the black community, meaning that other races would adopt some form of it as well, and how it would over time moderate and homogenize into a religio – political doctrine acceptable to the wide masses. Consider that Mormonism in its current form is very different – and hence much more acceptable to the mainstream – than what Joseph Smith founded. And while I am not making spiritual comparisons to charismatic Christianity – many of its adherents do actually believe in the Jesus Christ of the Bible and are born again – and either liberation theology and Mormonism, the fact remains that the modern dominant forms of it that you will see practiced in the Assemblies of God and Churches of God in Christ (the non televangelist charismatic Christianity) is far removed from the doctrines and practice of Charles Parham and Azusa Street, and for practical purposes are almost indistinguishable from many Baptist churches.

But the point is that the media is lying to make it appear as if there are this great number of blacks that preach black liberation theology NOW, sit in their churches and rant against white people, and espouse Marxism and Afrocentrism NOW, when no such thing is the case. The media is also contributing to this by not telling black people the full extent of the belief system of Afrocentrism and black liberation theology (just as they never told black people that Martin Luther King, Jr. did not believe in the deity, virgin birth, or resurrection of Jesus Christ, a fact that probably less than 1% of the black community knows). They just see a black preacher on TV attacking poverty, racism, George Bush, and the war. The blacks attacking the media for being hypocrites for focusing on Obama’s relationship with Wright while not attacking John McCain’s ties with John Hagee have no idea that THEY ARE FAR FAR CLOSER TO HAGEE THEOLOGICALLY THAN THEY ARE TO WRIGHT.

Wright himself contributes to this. When the National Press Club asked Wright if salvation was available only through Jesus Christ, Wright merely responded “did not Jesus Christ say that He had other sheep?” Now not only does the vast majority of black Baptists, Methodists, charismatics, etc. utterly reject pluralism and universalism – and most further have no idea of the question to or response concerning Wright since it was not widely reported – but Wright purposefully chose to omit the fact that liberation theology (and liberal theology in general) espouses a completely different notion of salvation and condemnation than is found in the Bible: liberal theologies DO NOT BELIEVE IN A LITERAL HEAVEN OR LAKE OF FIRE. Wright did not say that because he knew the headlines would have been “OBAMA PASTOR DOES NOT BELIEVE IN HEAVEN OR HELL!” and a good percentage of the Christian black support for Obama would evaporate. (Does Hillary Clinton’s liberal Methodism believe in heaven and hell? The media will never report that either!)

Praise God! 10 Ounce Baby Born At 21 Weeks Survives!

Posted by Job on February 20, 2007

There is one God, and He is wonderful, He is powerful. This baby was born October 24, 2006, and went home with her mother yesterday. The article says: ”

Amillia has experienced respiratory problems, a very mild brain hemorrhage and some digestive problems, but none of the health concerns are expected to pose long-term problems, her doctors said. “We can deal with lungs and things like that but, of course, the brain is the most important,” Dr. Paul Fassbach said Monday. “But her prognosis is excellent.”

Now, had this baby been born to our more progressive British friends across the pond, well just read this column on their euthanasia policy for very premature newborns, and decide for yourself. But hey, this is not time to engage in politics, just for me to worship and praise my God for the life of this child and the joy of her mother. In the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, I give you praise and thanks for sparing and sustaining the life of this child from the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I thank you for using this to give people who believe and call upon Your Name another reason for hope; another reason to rejoice; another reason to keep fighting. May this child and her mother and father be exceedingly blessed. May they know that You are the Lord and serve You for the rest of their lives. And Lord, I have not forgotten those whose children did not make it; whether they perished in the womb or shortly after birth, or whether they died young in incidents like this. Please, Lord Father YHVH, comfort the mothers and families of these children through their loss, trials, and grief, and may it not cause them to lose their faith, become bitter, or blame You or themselves. We are but mere people, we do not have all of the answers or solutions and cannot be the judge of fair and unfair, but You Alone do, for You Alone are God, and no matter what happens in this world we must submit ourselves to Your Authority, and we must carry on in Your Will. Lord, we look forward to the imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, so no longer will the young, vulnerable, and innocent be destroyed by violence, war, disease, famine, lust, environmental pollution, and senseless accidents. Until that day comes, please Lord use Your Mighty Hand and Your Spirit Ruach Hakadosh and the people that call upon Your Name to defend the children that are here, and comfort the families of those that are no longer here.
