Mormon And Jehovah’s Witnesses Classified As Christian By World Council Of Churches!

Posted by Job on February 21, 2008

Original link.

The two fastest-growing church bodies in the United States and Canada, according to a newly published report, are ones whose beliefs are known to conflict with traditional Christian teaching.

Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, regarded by many Christians as cults, reported the largest membership increases in a year, according to the National Council of Churches’ 2008 Yearbook of American & Canadian Churches.

Although Jehovah’s Witnesses currently rank 25th in size with over 1.06 million members, they reported a 2.25 per cent increase in membership since the publication of the 2007 Yearbook. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – also known as the Mormon church – grew 1.56 per cent and is listed by the NCC as the fourth largest ‘church’.

Notably, however, both Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormon church are not accepted within many Christian circles as part of the larger Body of Christ over a number of controversial beliefs that the two religions hold.

The identification of Jehovah’s Witnesses as Christian is debated largely due to their rejection of the Trinity, which most Christians regard as a fundamental doctrine. Latter-day Saints, meanwhile, are often criticised for their belief in “divine” books of scripture, aside from the Bible, including the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

Mormonism was formally listed under “cults and sects” by the Southern Baptist Convention – the largest Protestant denomination in the nation – but was more recently categorised among “newly developed religions” on the North American Mission Board apologetics page.

Other bodies in the newly published top 25 largest churches list that reported membership increases include the Catholic Church with a 0.87 per cent increase; the Southern Baptist Convention with a 0.22 per cent increase; the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church with a 0.21 per cent rise; and the Assemblies of God with a 0.19 per cent growth.

The greatest losses in membership were reported by the Episcopal Church, which dropped 4.15 per cent in members, and the Presbyterian Church (USA), which decreased by 2.36 per cent. Both denominations are currently wracked by theological differences and the issue of homosexuality.

American Baptist Churches in the USA and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America also experienced large losses in membership, dropping 1.82 per cent and 1.58 per cent, respectively.

“Some will wish to argue that the slowing growth rate is evidence of an increasing secularisation of American postmodern society,” said the Rev Dr Eileen W Lindner, editor of the Yearbook. “While such an explanation will satisfy some, caution in drawing such a conclusion is warranted.”

Lindner also observed that churches are feeling the impact of the lifestyles of Millenials – people in their 20s and 30s – who attend church but resist becoming members.

The United Methodist Church saw a 0.99 per cent decrease but the mainline group remains the third largest church body with nearly 8 million members.

Only three of the top 10 largest churches are mainline Protestant churches; three of the top 25 are Pentecostal churches; and six of the top 15 are historic African American churches.

US Birthrate Lowest Ever! So How Is Our Population Growing?

Posted by Job on June 7, 2007

See this link ( The native – born birthrate in America is the lowest in recorded history. Yet our population is booming; 300 million or thereabouts. (Or it is booming for some groups anyway; the black population is crawling at about a 1% increase, and the percentage of the population that is black has fallen from 14% to 11%). So, where is the population coming from? Immigration. Mostly ILLEGAL immigration. Now America has its share of problems, always has, but it has still been one of the best and leading nations in the world for PROTESTANT Christianity virtually since its inception, and a high native – born birthrate keeps it that way. But by decreasing the native – born birthrate with the normalization of abortion and divorce (even within conservative churches) and the glamorization of homosexuality and opening the doors to legal and illegal immigrants who practice Catholicism and other religions, TBN and the other Christian broadcasting networks turning the charismatic movement into a big Word of Faith Jesus Only oneness pentecostal modalism heresy abomination, the New Age – inspired syncretism movement, the mainline churches denying the truth and inerrancy of scripture at every turn, etc. the Protestant/Reformed Christian population of our nation is more at risk than ever. That is bad news for America and worse news for Israel. Now we have had at least two “Great Awakenings” in the past (and if you want to count the charismatic revival at least three; I really do not see why not) when it seemed that America was going to turn wholly away from Protestant Christianity. But since the leaders of modern Christendom are either going after money and preaching a bland inoffensive false gospel or are seeking power and to impose their views and will on a world that rejected God and fell into sin through Adam in the garden of Eden using politics, who is going to lead this awakening? Will it be you?

Father God in the Name Of Jesus Christ, please raise up true preachers, teachers, prophets, and evangelists to awake the masses to Your Word, Your Will, Your Spirit, Your Authority, and Your Son, so that there will be righteous men and women found in this nation lest it fall. Amen.

More Evidence That The Left Is Turning Against Israel Because of Christian Zionism

Posted by Job on April 1, 2007

See link here. While it contains no new Palestinian disinformation, what is shocking is that such blatantly anti – Israel and anti – Semitic lies are on This is OBVIOUSLY due to the American left (and many others who simply hate or fear Bible  – believing Christians) deciding that the friend of my enemy is my enemy. They hate Jews for the same reason that we love them: THE BIBLE. People who hate the Bible hate the Jews, people who love the Bible love the Jews. Why? It is all spiritual. If you reject the Bible because your “Christian” religion tells you to usurp it with your own doctrines and traditions or not to literally interpret it (as is the case with many Catholics and mainline denominational Christians, ecumenists, and liberation theologists) then evil spirits that cause you to hate God’s people will gain a legal claim over your mind, utterly corrupting it with the same hate and rejection that you have for God’s people that you have for God’s Spirit and Truth. One of the better manifestations of that I have experienced lately was this radio show that was tearing into the Tim LaHaye “Left Behind” phenomenon. While I have real problems with LaHaye doctrinally and politically, these people were absolutely insane, claiming that literally believing Revelation made Israel the bride of Christ and the church the concubine or prostitute of Christ. They went on to claim that the OLD TESTAMENT’s references to Israel did not literally mean a physical or ethnic nation or even a religion at all, but rather a “prophetic forshadowing of the church.” People, if you cannot literally interpret Romans 1:11, then it is obviously because of DEMONS IN YOUR HEAD, AND YOU WANT THEM THERE. So, what does this have to do with the mainstream left? Well, they reject the Bible because it tells them that they cannot murder their children with abortion, they cannot have sex with whoever they want to whenever they want to, and so on and so forth. Now these people were willing to PRETEND to love Israel so long as people who PRETENDED to love the Bible hated them. But now that people who ACTUALLY love the Bible love Israel (my only problem with John Hagee and similar is that they have started to love the current physical nation of Israel MORE than they love the Bible that tells them to love them, a fact which Jews are beginning to exploit and are getting better at it), the people who hate the Bible are beginning to abandon all pretenses. This can only mean, people, that time is getting short. The people who hate Israel (and this is proof that it is not just the left!) are now being emboldened with not only real monetary and political power, BUT REAL SPIRITUAL POWER THAT COMES FROM THE MOST POWERFUL NATION ON THE GLOBE. If you are still playing around with your “religion” and have not come to a personal relationship with Yeshua HaMashiach, well, now is the time to do so, and I am here to do anything that you require to help you to attain that goal! Father YHVH may the rising tide of anti – Israel and anti – Semitism cause people all over the world to realize that the time is becoming short and that to be saved from destruction and the lake of fire they are going to have to become part of spiritual Israel by accepting salvation through Yeshua HaMashiach and being indwelled with the Ruach Hakadosh so that they can stand with spiritual Israel for Your Word the Bible and for You. In the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, Amen.

World Council of Churches Congratulates Lutheran World Federation

Posted by Job on March 27, 2007

See link here. Notice that this story is all about ecumenism and worldly issues and says not a whit about spreading the gospel, standing against sin (whether the codification of sin by government with things like abortion and gay marriage or sinful trends in the church and society) and otherwise doing God’s Will by promoting and defending the faith. Still more evidence that for the World Council of “Churches” and other “Christians”, for them “Christianity” is just another way to pursue a worldly secular agenda, and a way to quickly gain the power and influence that they need to pursue that agenda and reap the earthly awards by doing so that they would NEVER get in the secular arena. If you can’t be a world famous author or rock musician or author, and if you aren’t cut out for high political office, then become a preacher or church bureaucrat in a liberal – excuse me, moderate – denomination!

Deal With North Korea? Yeah Right!!

Posted by Job on February 16, 2007

Not much to say about this except the obvious: the North Koreans are lying just like they always do. Iran, North Korea, Russia, China, Venezuela, Syria, “Palestine”, etc. all have this little scam going on where one of them acts up at its appointed time, causing so much pressure on the United States and our dwindling allies that it either distracts our attention from or so weakens us that it forces into a sham “piece deal” (meaning us giving them weapons that they want to use to kill us, or money that they will use to develop and buy weapons that they will want to use to kill us) with one of them to drive the international and domestic heat down so that we can concentrate on the other. That was the case last year when Hizbullah and Hamas (and let’s face it, the PLO) attacked Israel last year while Iran was in a critical stage in their nuclear weapons program, and were seeking to avoid action being taken against them by the international community at a G8/WTO meeting. This is definitely a sign that Bush is planning a war with Iran, because he is trying to reduce our number of enemies and contrive a “peace victory” before the international community; you know the whole playing the game bit. I say if Bush is a true Christian and is fighting the Lord’s Battle in taking on Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan, then bring it on! If not, then well … Bush is totally insane and completely evil. I have not prayed regarding Bush because I am afraid of the answer that I will get, but I will say that if Bush is close to and of like mind with his brother (I lived in Florida for a good little bit of Jeb Bush’s governorship, and at the time it seemed to me that they were two completely different animals and furthermore not all that close), the Jeb Bush endorsing Mitt “my religion will deceive millions and take them to hell’ Romney really makes me wonder about whether it is time to finally stop procrastinating and to ask God whose side Bush is on. Then again, Bush’s close relations with the anti – Trinitarian heretic T. D. Jakes is another bad sign. In any event, whether Bush is fighting the Lord’s battle or not, war with Iran will push us one step closer to the apocalypse. Are you ready? If not, now is the time to get ready! Be saved from this wicked world and your sins through Jesus Christ: follow The Three Step Salvation Plan. But in the midst of all this bad news, you can be encouraged! The reliable trustworthy honorable entity The World Council of Churches, whose endorsement you can take straight to the bank, is very pleased with the North Korea deal! (By the way, my linking to an article about the WCC on the Eagle Forum’s sight certainly should not be construed as an endorsement of either that organization or their views or agenda, but here is a very nice article on the WCC from another great source, and here is another great one from the WCC itself.) I have to say it: if the WCC likes it, then it is because it is very bad for Christians! If it wasn’t for the Internet, I would definitely be one of those guys out on the street corner holding up my big sign! But as it is, I will communicate this here instead: “The end is near. Be prepared for the Imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!” Have your garments on undefiled washed white in the Saviour’s blood, keep the oil in your lamp burning, and above all, do not be lukewarm, for He is coming as a thief!
