National Religious Broadcasters Using Oneness Modalist Heretic TD Jakes To Get Out The Vote

Posted by Job on May 12, 2008

Driving to work this morning viewing the effects of the terrible thunderstorms that spared my neighborhood but hard hit the one right next to mine, I was listening to Christian radio. Out of the blue comes TD Jakes’ booming voice. In it, he first speaks of how much he loves America and so forth. I immediately thought of Jakes doing this to exploit anger over Barack Hussein Obama, Michelle Obama, and Jeremiah Wright’s considerably less than jingoistic statements and actions. Then he went into his exhortation spiel for people to register and get out to vote.

First, I see Lifeway Bookstores, owned by the Southern Baptist Convention, selling TD Jakes’ doctrinal error (oneness pentecostalism and the Word of Faith/prosperity doctrine are but a few of his MANY problems) and now the National Religious Broadcasters are using this guy. I had been using the NRB as a sort of a refuge from the blatant charismania that you will find on The Word Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daystar, etc. So I just ignored the heavy Pat Robertson presence on the channel, as well as their “white Europeans are the descendants of the children of Israel … the Danube River is so named because of the tribe of Dan” show that comes on early in the morning. I also ignored their embrace of the Ellen White Seventh Day Adventist cult. So I suppose that I cannot cast NRB aside on Jakes’ account, since the ones that I just named are hardly better – if anything some might be worse – or else I would be reacting out of a personal dislike for Jakes rather than on principle. (On the other hand, Slice of Laodicea has criticized NRB, albeit for different reasons, such as this post stating that not one red cent of NRB’s $5 BILLION IN ASSETS is being used to defend the faith from Oprah Winfrey.)

Incidentally, speaking of TD Jakes and PR spots, he has another one out (I did not catch the sponsor!) promoting single sex education, saying that “boys need their own schools so that they will be able to, you know, romp and stuff (his choice of words not mine!) and that boys learn differently from girls and needed their own classrooms in order to be accommodated. So … it looks like Jakes is not that far removed from Jeremiah Wright’s separatist doctrines after all?

I have to be honest, back when I was part of the religious right and allowing my worldview to be shaped by the Washington Times and the National Review, I was in full agreement. But now … I just recall reading about this inner city public school that went all male. Sure, the discipline problems decreased and the test scores went up. But when they interviewed the boys that attended the school, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WANTED THEM TO BRING THE GIRLS BACK! Why? Because, er … BOYS LIKE GIRLS! Or at least they are supposed to anyway. Perhaps now that T.D. Jakes is on board with the new world order’s gay rights agenda (and yes this is relevant … perhaps due to his son) he thinks it is OK. To me, the whole single sex education thing … who wants it? Certainly not the kids. Not the administrators or teachers. Parents go for it only because they are desperate for any hook or angle to improve the failing school systems that the government is ruining on purpose. Not even the old fashioned religious sorts – of which I am one – think that it is a good idea anymore, where you were supposed to keep boys and girls separate in their little boarding or finishing schools (where they were supposed to look OH SO CUTE in their little uniforms I guess) UNTIL GRADUATION DAY WHEN YOU MARRY THEM OFF.

Sorry people, but society has changed. Not all of the changes have been for the good, but methinks that one of the most important things for a boy to learn from school is how to treat a lady and how to behave yourself in their presence. For some of us guys, those things do not come naturally, and you only learn them through trial and error. Especially error. (If you don’t learn to handle competition and rejection in junior high and high school, how on earth are you supposed to handle being turned down for jobs, promotions, college choices, etc. later in life?) So … HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO LEARN THOSE THINGS IF THERE ARE NO GIRLS AROUND TO LEARN THEM FROM?

Like I said, TD Jakes may have his own reasons for wanting to turn your local public school into Morehouse College or similar, and whatever they are I oppose them 100%. All the more reason why the Southern Baptist Convention should not be selling this guy’s books and NRB shouldn’t be using him for their get out the vote campaign. But I suppose that this oneness anti – Trinitarian heretic is just too good at making money and moving public opinion for these people to pass up. That is, unless they are actually along with Jakes, on his side. After all, the Southern Baptists refuse to do anything about the likes of New Age heretic Erwin McManus and Council on Foreign Relations worker Rick Warren (and Richard Land too?), and as stated earlier, Al Sharpton Al Gore global warming propagandist partner Pat Robertson is a major partner with the NRB.

To The Church Of Judge Not: Hebrews 6:5-8 Says There Is NO HOPE OR REDEMPTION For Apostates!

Posted by Job on October 13, 2007

All of you folks that defend false preacher prophet heretics with the claims that we should just pray for God to restore them to the place from which they have fallen … what do you say of Hebrews 6:5-8?

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.”

The best part is that this passage comes after a prior passage that condemns the very spiritual immaturity that causes people to allow themselves to be misled and taken advantage of by the lascivious liars and thieves that populate the landscape of false Christianity. Hebrews 5:11 – 6:3 says “Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit.”

All right you people that continue with your vain brayings of “touch not my anointed (though not by the TRUE God as their abiblical words, works, and actions bear evidence of it!) and do my (clearly false) prophets no harm” in defense of your favorite false preachers, what is your response? I look forward to all of your attempts to demonstrate that the Bible is not true but your heretic preachers are.

More Proof That Word of Faith Is Mormonism From Kenneth Copeland!

Posted by Job on September 18, 2007

Kenneth Copeland: the Joseph Smith of our time.

Jesus was infected/injected with satan’s sin nature in order for redemption to work

“He [Jesus] is suffering all that there is to suffer. There is no suffering left apart from Him. His emaciated, poured out, little, wormy spirit is down in the bottom of that thing [hell]. And the Devil thinks he’s got Him destroyed.”

Kenneth Copeland (Believer’s Voice of Victory program, April 21, 1991)

“The righteousness of God was made to be sin. He accepted the sin nature of Satan in His own spirit. And at the moment that He did so, He cried, ‘My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?’ You don’t know what happened at the cross. Why do you think Moses, upon instruction of God, raised the serpent upon that pole instead of a lamb? That used to bug me. I said, ‘Why in the world would you want to put a snake up there — the sign of Satan? Why didn’t you put a lamb on that pole?’ And the Lord said, ‘Because it was a sign of Satan that was hanging on the cross.’ He said, ‘I accepted, in My own spirit, spiritual death; and the light was turned off.”

Kenneth Copeland (What Happened from the Cross to the Throne, 1990, audiotape #02-0017, side 2)

Jesus “put Himself into the hands of Satan when He went to that cross, and took that same nature that Adam did [when he sinned].”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Incarnation, 1985, audiotape #01-0402, side 1)

Jesus is said to have remarked, “It was a sign of Satan that was hanging on the cross….I accepted, in my own spirit, spiritual death; and the light was turned off.”?

Kenneth Copeland (What Happened from the Cross to the Throne, 1990, audiotape #02-0017, side 2)

[Jesus] “had to give up His righteousness”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Incarnation, 1985, audiotape #01-0402, side 2)

“How did Jesus then on the cross say, ‘My God.’ Because God was not His Father any more. He took upon Himself the nature of Satan. And I’m telling you Jesus is in the middle of that pit. He’s suffering all that there is to suffer, there is no suffering left . . . apart from Him. His emaciated, little wormy spirit is down in the bottom of that thing and the devil thinks He’s got Him destroyed. But, all of a sudden God started talking.”
Kenneth Copeland (Believer’s Voice of Victory, TBN, April 21, 1991)

Jesus was the first born again man

“He allowed the devil to drag Him into the depths of hell as if He were the most wicked sinner who ever lived … Every demon in hell came down on Him to annihilate Him … [They] tortured Him beyond anything that anybody has ever conceived … In a thunder of spiritual force, the voice of God spoke to the death-whipped, broken, punished spirit of Jesus … [in] the pit of destruction, and charged the spirit of Jesus with resurrection power! Suddenly His twisted, death-wracked spirit began to fill out and come back to life … He was literally being reborn before the devil’s very eyes. He began to flex His spiritual muscles … Jesus Christ dragged Satan up and down the halls of hell … Jesus … was raised up a born-again man … The day I realized that a born-again man had defeated Satan, hell, and death, I got so excited … !”

Kenneth Copeland (“The Price of it All,” Believer’s Voice of Victory, September 1991, p. 4)

“In hell He [Jesus] suffered for you and for me. The Bible says hell was made for Satan and his angels. It was not made for men. Satan was holding the Son of God there illegally … The trap was set for Satan and Jesus was the bait.”

Kenneth Copeland (Walking in the Realm of the Miraculous, 1979, p. 77)

“The Spirit of God spoke to me and He said, “Son, realize this. Now follow me in this and don’t let your tradition trip you up.” He said, “Think this way — a twice-born man whipped Satan in his own domain.” And I threw my Bible down… like that. I said, “What?” He said, “A born-again man defeated Satan, the firstborn of many brethren defeated him.” He said, “You are the very image, the very copy of that one.” I said, “Goodness, gracious sakes alive!” And I began to see what had gone on in there, and I said, “Well now you don’t mean, you couldn’t dare mean, that I could have done the same thing?” He said, “Oh yeah, if you’d had the knowledge of the Word of God that He did, you could have done the same thing, ’cause you’re a reborn man too.”
Kenneth Copeland (Substitution and Identification, tape #00-0202, side 2)

” …that Word of the Living God went down into that pit of destruction and charges the spirit of Jesus with resurrection power! Suddenly, His twisted, death-wracked spirit began to fill out and come back to life. He began to look like something the devil has never seen before. He was literally being reborn before the devil’s very eyes. He began to flex his spiritual muscles… Jesus was born again — the firstborn from the dead.”
Kenneth Copeland (The Price of it All, Believer’s Voice in Victory, vol 19 September 1991, p.9)

“He [Jesus] was down in that pit and there he suffered the punishment for three horrible days and nights for Adam’s treason… There is a new birth takes place in the very depths of the earth, when the command of God says ‘That’s enough, loose him and let him go’.”

Kenneth Copeland (What Happened from the Cross to the Throne, 1990, audiotape #02-0017, side 2)

The church is in control, not God

“As a believer, you have a right to make commands in the name of Jesus. Each time you stand on the Word, you are commanding God to a certain extent because it is His Word.”

Kenneth Copeland (Our Covenant with God, 1987, p. 32)

These men think they’re Gods!

“Jesus is no longer the only begotten Son of God.”

Kenneth Copeland (Now We Are In Christ Jesus, 1980, p. 24)

“You are not a spiritual schizophrenic — half-God and half-Satan — you are all-God”?

Kenneth Copeland (Now We Are in Christ Jesus, 1980, p.16-17)

“You don’t have a god in you, you are one”

Kenneth Copeland (The Force of Love, 1987, audiotape #02-0028, side 1)

“I say this with all respect so that it don’t upset you too bad, but I say it anyway. When I read in the Bible where he [Jesus] says, ‘I Am,’ I just smile and say, ‘Yes, I Am, too!'”

Kenneth Copeland (Believer’s Voice of Victory, TBN July 9, 1987)

“Now Peter said by exceeding great and precious promises you become partakers of the divine class. All right, are we gods? We are a class of gods!”?

Kenneth Copeland (Praise The Lord, TBN February 5, 1986)

“Adam was created in God’s own image and likeness, a spirit-being…[and] takes on the nature of his spiritual father or lord.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Our Covenant with God, 1987, p.7-8)

“Gods reason for creating Adam was his desire to reproduce himself. I mean a reproduction of Himself. And in the Garden of Eden He did just that. He was not a little like God, He was not almost like God, He was not subordinate to God even … Adam was as much like God as you can get, just the same as Jesus. Adam in the Garden of Eden was God manifested in the flesh”
Kenneth Copeland (Following the faith of Abraham Audio, #01-3001 side 1)

4th Dimension of non-carnal attainment

“Pray to yourself, because I’m in your self and you’re in My self. We are one Spirit, saith the Lord.”

Kenneth Copeland (“Believer’s Voice of Victory”, Feb. 1987, p.9)

The faith force

“Faith is a power force,” he claims. “It is a tangible force. It is a conductive force.”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Force of Faith, 1989, 10)

“Faith is a spiritual force….It is substance. Faith has the ability to effect natural substance.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Forces of the Recreated Human Spirit, 1982, 8)

“The force of gravity…makes the law of gravity work…this force of faith…makes the laws of the spirit world function.”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Laws of Prosperity, 1974, 18-19)

“Faith is God’s source of power”?

Kenneth Copeland (Forces of the Recreated Human Spirit, 1982, 8)

“Faith was the raw material substance that the Spirit of God used to form the universe.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Authority of the Believer II, 1987, audiotape #01-0302, side 1)

“The force of faith was controlling His (Jesus’) ministry.”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Force of Faith, 9)

“Man was created to know that great life force and he longs for it in his dreams. Adam had that life force in him before he committed high treason”?

Kenneth Copeland (What Happened from the Cross to the Throne, side 2)

“God did not create the world out of nothing, He used the Force of His Faith.”

Kenneth Copeland (pirit, Soul, & Body, #01-0601, Tape #1)

“Faith is God’s source of power”?

Kenneth Copeland (Freedom From Fear, 1983. p. 12)

Words are spiritual containers

“Words are spiritual containers,”?

Kenneth Copeland (Forces of the Recreated Human Spirit, 15; cf. 14)

The “force of faith is released by words.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Authority of the Believer II, 1987, audiotape #01-0302, side 1)

“God used words when He created the heaven and the earth….Each time God spoke, He released His faith — the creative power to bring His words to pass.”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Power of the Tongue, 1980, 4)

“As a born-again believer, you are equipped with the Word. You have the power of God at your disposal. By getting the Word deep into your spirit and speaking it boldly out your mouth, you release spiritual power to change things in the natural circumstances.”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Power of the Tongue, 1980, 15)

“Words create pictures, and pictures in your mind create words. And then the words come back out your mouth….And when that spiritual force comes out it is going to give substance to the image that’s on the inside of you. Aw, that’s that visualization stuff! Aw, that’s that New Age! No, New Age is trying to do this; and they’d get somewhat results out of it because this is spiritual law, brother.”

Kenneth Copeland (Believer’s Voice of Victory, TBN, March 28, 1991)

“Words are the most sacred things….This is a word planet…governed by words…created by words….Words cause it to function…cause life…cause death….Words go on forever….Words are holy.”?

Kenneth Copeland (The Abrahamic Covenant, side 1)

Sensual manifestations

“Everything that you’re able to see or touch, anything that you can feel, anything that’s perceptive to the five physical senses, was originally the faith of God, and was born in the substance of God’s faith.”

Kenneth Copeland (Spirit, Soul, & Body Part 1, 1985, audiotape #01-0601, side 1)

God is the biggest failure in the bible

“I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is…The biggest one in the whole Bible is God…I mean, He lost His top-ranking, most anointed angel; the first man He ever created; the first woman He ever created; the whole earth and all the fullness therein; a third of the angels, at least – that’s a big loss, man….Now, the reason you don’t think of God as a failure is He never said He’s a failure. And you’re not a failure till you say you’re one.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Praise-a-thon on Praise The Lord, April 1988)

God’s physical description

“God spoke Adam into existence in authority with words. These words struck Adam’s body in the face. His body and God’s were exactly the same size.”

Kenneth Copeland (Holy Bible, Kenneth Copeland Reference Edition 1991, p. 45)

“If you stood Adam upside God, they look just exactly alike….If you stood Jesus and Adam side-by-side, they would look and act and sound exactly alike….The image is that they look just alike, but the likeness is that they act alike and they are alike….All of God’s attributes, all of God’s authority, all of God’s faith, all of God’s ability was invested in that man.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Authority of the Believer IV? 1987, audiotape #01-0304), side 1)

“The Bible said He measured the heavens with a 9 inch span. Now the span is the difference, distance between the end of the thumb and the end of the little Finger. And, and that Bible said, in fact the amplified translation translates the Hebrew text that way. That He measured out the heavens with a 9 inch span. Well, I got a ruler and measured mine, and my span’s 8 3/4 inches long. So now God’s span is a quarter of an inch, a quarter inch longer than mine. So you see, that faith didn’t come billowing out of some giant monster somewhere. It came out of the heart of a being that is very uncanny the way He’s very much like you and me. A being that stands somewhere around 6′ 2 “, 6′ 3”, that weighs somewhere in the neighbourhood of a couple of hundred pounds, little better, has a span of 8 and, I mean nine inches across – stood up and said “Light be [Let it be?]”, and this universe situated itself and went into motion. Glory to God.”

Kenneth Copeland (“pirit, Soul, & Body Part 1” 1985, audio tape #01-0601, side 1)

God is a “spirit-being with a body, complete with eyes, and eyelids, ears, nostrils, a mouth, hands and fingers, and feet.”

Kenneth Copeland (Kenneth Copeland ministry letter, 21 July 1977)

The Womb-Man

“Adam was made in the image of God. He was as much female as he was male. He was exactly like God. Then God separated him and removed the female part. Woman means ‘man with the womb.’ Eve had as much authority as Adam did as long as they stayed together.”

Kenneth Copeland (Sensitivity of Heart, KCP Publications, 1984, p. 23)

“Then, he created Eve out of Adam. Now, actually God didn’t name her Eve, Adam named her Eve later. That wasn’t her name, her name was Adam … Adam. When God said Adam, they both came. Their authority was one and the same together. They did everything together. They had always been together. Even when she was still part of him, he was as much female as he was male, LIKE GOD IS. And God separated the female part of him and then put them back together. And she was Adam, they were Adam. He was the man, she was the woman. She was the man with the womb.”
Kenneth Copeland ((Transcribed From A Message Given By Kenneth Copeland, Paw Creek Ministries) )

God lives on the mother planet

“Heaven has a north and a south and an east and a west. Consequently, it must be a planet.”?

Kenneth Copeland (Following the Faith of Abraham I, 1989 audiotape, #01-3001, side 1)

“You don’t think earth was first, do you? Huh? Well, you don’t think that God made man in His image, and then made earth in some other image? There is not anything under this whole sun that’s new. Are you hearing what I’m saying? This is all a copy. It’s a copy of home. It’s a copy of the Mother Planet. Where God lives, He made a little one just like His and put us on it.”

Kenneth Copeland (Following the Faith of Abraham I, 1989 audiotape, #01-3001, side 1)

I have met and/or spoken to Jesus

(Relating Jesus speaking) “Don’t be disturbed when people put you down and speak harshly and roughly of you. They spoke that way of Me, should they not speak that way of you? The more you get to be like Me, the more they’re going to think that way of you. They crucified Me for claiming that I was God. But I didn’t claim I was God; I just claimed I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah.”

Juanita Bynum At Barack HUSSEIN Obama Fundraiser Held By New Age Witch Oprah Winfrey?

Posted by Job on September 7, 2007

I must ask: have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, follow this link: The Three Step Salvation Plan

See it here!

So here you have a woman raised in and representing Pentecostal/charismatic Christianity speaking at a fundraiser to support the ambitions of one such as Obama who supports abortion, homosexuality, and a number of other abominations? At an event hosted by the best known proponent of the New Age false religion in America (yes, Barbra Streisand, Oprah has surpassed you, and what makes her worse than you is that Oprah promotes mixing New Age and Christianity … after all, she and Barack Obama are both members of the same “church”)? See Is Oprah Winfrey’s New Age “The Secret” The Same As Word – Faith Prosperity? It just shows you that the Bible is true yet again: Amos 3:3 says “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?“ So you supporters of Juanita Bynum and all of these other false preachers when there are so many good hard working legitimate preachers out there … who are YOU walking in agreement with? I will say this: someone who thinks so little of you that they are so bold enough to lie to you on worldwide CHRISTIAN television while knowing full well that her lies will be exposed: Juanita Bynum Lies On TBN! Oh yes, and how that “Christian” TV station TBN just sat back and allowed her to lie like that unchallenged because she is one of their top moneymakers? It is time to stop walking in agreement too. We really do need to consider contacting the legitimate ministries that appear on this network and urge them to stop giving legitimacy – and money – to these people. You would have hoped that they would have done so after Paul Crouch personally endorsed ‘ heretical dual covenant theology: that Islam is just as legitimate as Christianity, but maybe they need some action by the rank and file faithful first. What do you think? And do you think that contacting the legitimate preachers on TBN to ask them to disassociate themselves from these evil people would be effective or worthwhile?

Deuteronomy 18:10-12; John 3:16

***I pray that this special two-part series will be a blessing to you and
your family. Please share it with everyone that you know! Also, feel free to
search the Internet for Harry Potter newsgroups, message boards, and chat
rooms and post it there. Both parts of this series will be posted at:

Harry was back in his old bedroom, laying in his bed, trying to get some
much needed sleep. Just a few hours earlier he had been at Hogwarts, playing
Quidditch, laughing with Ron and Hermione. But Harry sensed deep down that
something important was happening to him. He couldn’t put his finger on it,
but somehow Harry knew things were very different in the Dursley home. As
tired as Harry was from a long day at school, then the journey with Hagrid
to the Dursleys, and finally the emotional meeting with his uncle, he simply
could not sleep.

Harry continued to wonder if Voldemort had cast a spell on the Dursleys and
he had walked right into a trap. As he tossed and turned in his bed, all of
a sudden Harry froze. The moon was full and its light came thru the window
and illuminated part of the wall. There hanging on the wall was a picture of
a man in a long white robe riding a white horse. On his thigh were written

Harry bolted up in a cold sweat. Was this the King that his uncle said that
he was going to go see when he died? Who was this King riding the white
horse? Harry was now wide awake. He quietly slipped out of his room and went
down the hall to Dudley’s room. Harry lightly tapped on the door. There was
no response so he tapped again and said in a hushed voice, “Dudley, it’s
Harry. Wake up, I need to talk to you.” After a moment, Harry heard
footsteps approaching the door, and slowly it opened. Dudley had been sound
asleep and rubbing his eyes, asked, “What’s wrong Harry, are you okay?”
“Dudley, I must talk to you right now. It is urgent,” Harry said.

Dudley opened the door for Harry, flipped on the light switch, and climbed
into his bed. He motioned for Harry to sit on the chair beside the bed. As
Harry sat down, he looked around and realized in all the years he had lived
in the Dursley house, this was the first time he had ever been in his cousin
‘s bedroom. Dudley would never allow Harry to even step one foot inside.
“Dudley,” Harry said, “something very strange is going on here.” Dudley, now
wide awake, looked at Harry and smiled. “You are right Harry, things are not
the same as they used to be. Things changed in our home about six months
ago,” Dudley stated. Before Dudley could go on, Harry interrupted him.
“Right before he died, your father told me that he was going to see a King,”
Harry declared. “Who was this King that he was going to go see?” Harry

A big smile broke out on Dudley’s round face. “My dad is with Jesus, Harry,”
Dudley beamed. “Six months ago, we all became Christians,” Dudley proudly
announced. Harry looked at his cousin with a puzzled look. He had heard of
Christians before, but really didn’t know much about them except they were
Muggles who did not like witches and wizards. That even made him more
curious since if the Dursleys had become Christians, they would dislike
Harry even more than before. Now he was really confused. “But, I thought
Christians did not like witches and wizards,” Harry said. “No Harry,
Christians love everyone, but they do not always like the things people
choose to do,” Dudley said.

Harry was now very curious. “How did you become a Christian, Dudley?” he
asked. “Well, about a year ago, one of my friends who was a Christian kept
asking me to go to church with him. Our family would go on Christmas, but I
never liked it much. Since I wouldn’t go to church with him, he started to
forward me these Devotionals he was getting from some Christian in the U.S.
I used to delete them, but one day I started to read them. Harry, they were
amazing. Every day they talked about God, and real life problems, and that
all the answers to life were in God’s book. One day, I decided that I wanted
to become a Christian, so I got down on my knees, right here in this room
Harry, and asked Jesus Christ into my heart,” Dudley said.

Harry’s head was now spinning. He felt hot like there was some sort of spell
being cast on him. He barely heard Dudley tell how within a week of becoming
a Christian, his mom and dad also accepted Jesus into their hearts and
became Christians too. Harry felt like running out of the room, but for some
reason he couldn’t move. He was sure now that someone had cast a spell on
him but he was powerless to do anything about it. It was at that moment
Harry saw a bright light and heard a loud deep voice. “Harry Potter,” the
voice bellowed, “renounce wizardry and accept Jesus as your King and you
will have powers greater than any wizard or witch that ever lived!”

“Dudley,” Harry cried, “did you hear that?” “Hear what?” Dudley replied.
“That voice!” Harry said. “Are you all right Harry? Nobody is here but us,”
Dudley said. Harry told Dudley what he had heard and Dudley looked at his
cousin smiling. “Harry,” he said, “that must have been God speaking to you.”
All of a sudden, a perfect peace came over Harry. He looked at Dudley and
said, “Dudley, I want to become a Christian!” Dudley leaped off the bed, and
wrapped his arms around Harry. “Come on Harry, you can do it right now,” he
said excitedly. Dudley told Harry to get on his knees and led him in a
prayer to accept Jesus Christ into his heart.

When he finished, with tears streaming down his face, Harry Potter realized
that something special had just happened to him. It was not a magic spell.
It was not anything that he had ever experienced before in his life. He had
such a peace about him. Deep inside, he knew that something was different.
As he stood up, his hair flew to the side and his cousin gasped. “Harry,
look at your scar!” Dudley cried out. Harry looked into the the mirror on
Dudley’s dresser and froze. The scar in the shape of a lightning bolt that
he had received as a baby when Voldemort tired to kill him, had changed into
a cross! Harry Potter had found the KING!

If you want to find the King and become a Christian like Harry Potter did,
please take a moment and pray for God to open your heart, then read the
words at this link: Also, please take a
moment and say a prayer for Harry Potter’s author, J.K. Rowling, that she
will invite Jesus Christ into her heart and also become a Christian.

your family. Please share it with everyone that you know! Also, feel free to
search the Internet for Harry Potter newsgroups, message boards, and chat
rooms and post it there. Both parts of this series will be posted at:

Harry was walking back to Gryffndor House with Ron and Hermione after
leading his Quidditch team to another victory. They were talking about their
Potions class when Hedwig appeared with a note. “Who is it from?” Ron asked.
“Hagrid,” Harry replied. “He says that he has to talk to me right away about
something very important.” It had been quite a while since Harry had seen
his old friend, and was curious what could be so urgent. “I think I better
go see Hagrid right away,” Harry said. I will see you two at dinner.

So, Harry made his way across the grounds to the edge of the forbidden
forest where Hagrid’s small wooden house was. When Harry knocked on the
door, he heard the familiar bark of Hagrid’s enormous black boarhound Fang.
After a moment, the door opened and Harry’s old friend, Hagrid reached out
and gave Harry a big hug. “Harry Potter, I have missed you!” said Hagrid. “I
‘ve missed you too Hagrid,” Harry replied, “I have been so busy with my
classes, with Quidditch practice.” Harry walked into the one-room house and
sat down. “Your note said that you had something very important to tell me
Hagrid. What is it?” Harry asked.

Hagrid sat down and looked at his young friend. “Harry, I have received word
through some friends that your uncle wants to see you. They say he is very
ill, and has to speak to you before he dies.” It had been a long time since
Harry had thought about the Dursleys. Harry did not have fond memories at
all of his time living with his aunt and uncle. They made it obvious he was
a burden to them. If his uncle was that sick, why would he want to see
Harry? “Harry, I don’t trust the Dursleys. They are typical Muggles, and I
don’t trust them at all. It may be a trick of some kind,” Hagrid said. Harry
thought for a moment, “Hagrid, I really don’t know why my uncle would want
to see me, but if he is sick, and went to the trouble to contact me, I
should go see him.” “I still don’t trust him Harry, but if that is what you
want, I’ll take you there. You wait here and I will go talk to Professor
Dumbledore and explain what is happening, and get some transportation. You
keep Fang company, and I’ll be back in a bit,” Hagrid bellowed as he left
the house.

A short time later, Harry heard a loud roaring engine and ran out the front
door. There in the front yard was a huge motorcycle with his giant friend
driving. “This is the exact same motorcycle that I drove the night I took
you from your parent’s home to the Dursleys,” Hagrid beamed. “Come on Harry,
get on, and hang on tight!” Harry jumped on the back of the motorcycle
behind Hagrid and all of a sudden, the motorcycle began to roar to life and
took off through the countryside, slowly rising above the ground and into
the air. Harry’s mind was racing the entire trip, wondering why his uncle
wanted to see him, of all people, before he died. He really dreaded going
back to that house where he had so many unpleasant memories, but felt like
he was obligated to honor his uncle’s wish.

In no time at all, the motorcycle was breaking through the clouds, and
slowly making its way back to the ground, easing onto the familiar street
where the Dursleys lived. Instantly, they came to a stop. There it was, 4
Privet Drive, the home of the Dursleys. The place Harry lived for 10 years
after his parents were killed. Harry was not sure this was a good idea, but
he had come this far. “Do you want me to come with you Harry?” Hagrid asked.
“No, I am okay, thanks,” Harry replied. “All right my friend. When you are
ready to come back, send Hedwig to come get me and I will be here in no
time,” Hagrid said. Harry hugged his friend, and heard the sound of the
motorcycle engine fading in the distance as he walked up and knocked on the
front door of the Dursley home.

The door opened and Harry was looking into the eyes of Dudley Dursley. Harry
held his breath, expecting the normal tirade of insults from his cousin, but
instead was greeted by a huge smile on Dudley’s plump face. “Harry, it is
great to see you. I have missed you,” Dudley exclaimed. “MOM! Harry is here.
Come in Harry, come in. After all, you are home,” Dudley said. Harry was
really confused now as he stepped into the place he lived for so many years,
yet never did feel that it was his home. From the kitchen appeared his Aunt
Petunia. She hurried over to Harry, wrapping her arms around him in a loving
hug that Harry had never felt from her before. She was actually sobbing
gently as she said,”Harry, I am so glad you decided to come. Thank you.”
Harry was totally confused now. Dudley was actually nice to him, Aunt
Petunia was crying and said that she was happy to see him, there was
something very wrong here. Harry could not even speak. He didn’t know what
to say.

“Harry, I am so glad that you got here when you did. I didn’t think you
would make it. Your uncle is very ill and the doctors have done all they
could for him. He probably won’t make it through the night, but he so
desperately wanted to see you before he died. Please, come on upstairs to
his room. He has been waiting for you,” Aunt Petunia said while quickly
leading Harry up the steps to the bedroom Vernon Dursley was in. As she
pushed open the door, the room was pitch dark except for a small light on
the stand next to the bed. She grabbed Harry’s hand tightly and led him into
the room by the bed.

As they stood there, Harry’s eyes adjusted to the darkness and he could see
the outline of his uncle laying on the bed. “Vernon,” Mrs. Dursely
whispered, “Harry is here.” Harry could see his uncle’s eyes were closed,
but slowly, one of them opened half way. He had no expression on his face,
but seeing Harry, managed a slight smile. “Petunia, help me to sit up
please, and leave me to talk to Harry,” Mr. Dursley asked. His wife helped
him up, spun around and hugged Harry on the way out of the room, whispering
in his ear, “I love you Harry.” She then kissed his forehead and left the
room, shutting the door behind her.

Harry’s mind was trying to understand what was happening. Something was very
wrong. For years, the Dursleys acted like Harry didn’t exist. Now his Uncle
made the effort to get a message to Hagrid for Harry to come home and see
him before he died. Dudley was nice to him, and his Aunt not only kissed his
forehead, something she had never done before, but told Harry that she loved
him. Harry’s thoughts were interrupted by the weak, but familiar voice of
Vernon Dursley asking Harry to sit on the edge of the bed. As Harry sat
down, Mr. Dursley, now with both eyes wide open, looked at Harry. He slowly
reached out and took Harry’s hand in his.

Looking into Harry’s eyes Mr. Dursley squeezed his hand and said, “Thank you
for coming Harry. I don’t have much time left, but I had to see you before I
die. Harry, I want you to know how sorry I am for the way I treated you all
those years that you lived here. I am more ashamed of that than anything
else in my life. I know that I can never make up to you for how you were
mistreated, but I had to see you before I die to tell you that I am sorry,
and ask you to forgive me. Harry Potter, will you forgive me?” Now Harry was
certain something was wrong. This must be a trick of some sort. Maybe it is
a trap. Voldemort might have cast some sort of spell over the Dursleys.

Harry didn’t know what to say. Mr. Dursley, whose voice was getting weaker,
whispered, “Harry, I don’t blame you if you won’t forgive me, but I had to
at least apologize and tell you that I am so sorry.” Harry could now see
tears streaming down Mr. Dursley’s pale cheeks. For the first time since
stepping into the Dursely home, Harry was finally able to utter a few words.
As he saw his Uncle laying there, crying, squeezing his hand, Harry said, “I
forgive you.” As the words came off of Harry’s lips, he saw the tears stop.
There was a peace that came over his uncle’s face. With his eyes closed,
squeezing Harry’s hand tightly, Vernon Dursley softly said, “Harry Potter, I
love you. My time in this life is over, and I am going to see the King.”

As he uttered the word, “King,” Vernon Dursely took his last breath. Harry
sat on the bed, still holding the hand of his uncle. He was replaying the
last few moments that he had spent alone with his uncle. Why was it so
important to his uncle for Harry to forgive him? After all of the years that
he lived in this house, he had never once heard the Dursleys speak kindly to
him, let alone say they loved him. First Aunt Petunia, now Uncle Vernon.
Something was really wrong in this house. It had to be a spell of some sort.
But who and why? For what reason? Maybe the answer lies in this King he
spoke of going to see when he died. I need to find out who this King is.

Part 2 and the conclusion tomorrow…

Christians Parents: Harry Potter Witchcraft Is Not The Issue But Your Involvement With Your Kids Is

Proverbs 22:6

***COMING SUNDAY AND MONDAY! Don’t miss the powerful 2-part original story
I wrote, “Harry Potter, A Search for a King,” that has led over 3,000 people we know of to a relationship with Jesus Christ!!!

One of the things I try to do each day, one of my main goals of this
Devotional, is to help you translate your Christian faith into your very
real daily life. For those who have been reading these Devotionals for a
while, you also know that I hold the Bible to be God’s inspired, inerrant
Word, and THE Absolute Truth and our final authority over all matters in our
life. There is no room for compromise. One of the biggest things that has
hit our popular culture in the last couple of years that is an issue for
anyone with children, are the Harry Potter books and movies.

Harry Potter has received much international attention due to the fact it
has become very popular with children, and the books have actually helped
many kids learn to enjoy reading or read at a higher level. These books and
movies have also come under incredible attacks from the Christian community
due to the witchcraft, sorcery, magic, and other occult/mystical/New Age
aspects to the storyline.

***Please do not miss this. My goal today is NOT to bash the Harry Potter
books and movies, but to encourage parents to take an even greater role in
monitoring what your children read, hear, and watch. Even more important, to
take the TIME to put what is in our popular culture like Harry Potter and
all else that is out there, and put it into a Biblical context for your

I am not going to debate the content of these books or movies, because it
clearly has witchcraft and sorcery as a big part of the storyline. The
elements of Harry Potter that are dangerous have been with us in so many
other forms for many, many years since Biblical times. Yet, when has anyone
really spoken out so boldly about witchcraft, about sorcery? These are the
Biblical issues that make Harry Potter dangerous. When I was growing up, my
favorite movie and one of the most popular in movie history, was the Wizard
of Oz. Witches good and bad, a wizard, magical spells were all part of this
classic story. STORY.

My parents who were both wonderful Christians, would explain to me in my
younger years the fantasy aspects of Oz. They also provided a daily
environment of prayer and time in the Word, with the church being a large
part of our family life. Because of that, I clearly understood the Wizard of
Oz was a fictional story, and not real!!! I have spoken recently with some
older saints who were alive when the Wizard of Oz first came out. They tell
me that this movie, which is now considered one of the most loved of all
times, received the exact same criticism from the Christian community of
that day as Harry Potter is getting today.

The real bottom line to this Devotional today is for you parents who have
children, to play an active role in their lives. God gave each of us free
will, that means your kids too. But while they are growing up, until they
leave home, God has given you the responsibility of building a spiritual
foundation in their life. It is without a doubt the most important job or
ministry you have. In that capacity, you should know and be aware of what
they watch on TV and on the Internet. You should know and be aware of the
books they read. There should be open and honest discussion about the
content of what they are watching and hearing on a daily basis so that you
can help them understand this world we live in. More importantly, help them
to put the things they are taking in each day in a Biblical perspective.

This daily interaction with your children will give them the spiritual
foundation from which they will build their life on, FROM WHICH THEY WILL

Please do not think this Devotional is an endorsement of the Harry Potter
books and movies. Personally, I think the Left Behind series is much better
and much more profitable because of its content. I will not, however, tell
you that your child will be irreversibly harmed by reading these books or
seeing these movies. It all boils down to your involvement in their life!!!
You need to know what they are reading and what they are watching, so that
you are able to give them perspective. You can’t shield them from the things
in this world that are not pleasant. They are living in a sin-filled world
where they are going to be exposed daily to the effects of sin on our world.
Your intimate involvement in their lives, especially in those 0-18 years
when they are developing into what they will be as adults is critical.
Rather than trying to control their environment, which is ultimately
impossible, help them to understand it so that when they start making their
own decisions they will have a Biblical basis for those decisions.

I love you and care about you so much. Is Harry Potter a legitimate issue?
Yes, due to the popularity of the books and movies. Is Harry Potter the
anti-Christ. NO! Will reading Harry Potter or watching the movies destroy
your children’s lives? Most likely no. Again, what I want you to take from
this is that as parents, you MUST get involved in your children’s lives. You
have every right and responsibility to censor what you allow in your home
but censor it with an explanation of why so that hopefully as they get
older, they can make that same quality decision for themselves. In time,
Harry Potter will be off the radar screen and, trust me, there will be
another “hot issue” to get all excited about. The fact is, as parents, we
need to be constantly diligent about what our children are being exposed to
and put it into a Biblical context for them.

Never forget, that in a very short time you won’t be around to make those
decisions for them and the foundation that you lay in their life now is what
will carry them the rest of their life. I pray today, that you will take the
time and put in the effort to lay a strong, Biblically based foundation from
which they will be able to operate from for the rest of their journey
through this life. Again, I do not want the main point of this Devotional
to be lost. Anyone who reads the Word of God knows that God condemns
witchcraft and sorcery. It is a sin, period. My larger concern is NOT over
the obvious sin that is promoted through Potter, but over the role parents
play in the shaping of their children’s lives. Not just in being responsible
and censoring material that could be harmful to them, but in helping them
develop a foundation from which to make those same Biblically-based
decisions for themselves when you are NOT around.

I know everyone loves their kids so much. I spend much of my prayer time
each day praying over your children as you send in prayer requests for
different situations. Open your heart and hear what the Lord is saying to
YOU today through this Devotional and know that there is no book, no movie,
no Internet site, nothing this world can produce that has more power than
the God of this universe. Help them to understand that while Harry Potter is
a fantasy movie like the Wizard of Oz is, God is very real, with very real
powers, and He is the only one who deserves our praise and worship. I know
some will be disappointed I didn’t take this time to blast Harry Potter the
way many Christian leaders are today. I think it is FAR MORE PRODUCTIVE to
use this issue to encourage and empower parents!

Never forget that your greatest ministry no matter what else the Lord may
have you doing for the Kingdom, is TO YOUR CHILDREN. There is NO GREATER
ministry that you will EVER be involved in. Anyone who is a parent, is in
full time ministry to God as much as any pastor or anyone that you will ever
see on TV or hear on the radio. As a minister of God, it is YOUR
responsibility to help lay a Biblically-based foundation in the lives of
those children God has entrusted into your care! That is the REAL MESSAGE of
Harry Potter.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Tonex Demonstrates That Those That Have Concerns About Him Are Justified

Posted by Job on July 12, 2007

Background: Now the first post on this weblog to generate any real controversy (or traffic for that matter) was Tonex Is Back: Is That A Good Thing? The hubbub caused me to reconsider, and I made a subsequent post that was more conciliatory. That post is now gone, and this one is in its place.

Original source link for this post: Gospel Music Bytes’ Editorial: This is the video response from Tonex, to the accusations about Tonex being gay. We have been asking everyone to pray for Tonex. In this clip Tonex as for us not to pray for him, as he is totally ok. Tonex needs our prayers more then ever, as you will see in this video clip, Tonex is moving further and further away from the body of Christ. We must warn you that there is a little colourful language in this clip, so please beware. Please listen to it and let us at Gospel Music Bites know what you think. Please note video at bottom: when Tonex claimed that he was trying to “take that homophobic slur away from people, to take the power away from it”, well that is the mantra of the homosexual rights group “Queer Nation.” So, Tonex either knows that he is using the language of a homosexual rights group, or worse – he doesn’t know it.

And this is the video that caused people to falsely accuse him of being homosexual.

How Not To Read The Bible: When The Wheat And The Tares SHOULD NOT Grow Together

Posted by Job on June 20, 2007

This is a codicil to How Not To Read The Bible: Misusing Judge Not James 5:9 In Order To Avoid Christian Responsibility. When it comes to rising up against Christians that are responsible for false doctrines, false teachings, and false movements in the church, we are often dissuaded by those who misapply Matthew 13:28-30, “He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Sometimes this is done honestly by people who love God and have good intentions, other times it is quite the opposite. In either case, the result if this poor advice is heeded is the Will of God being delayed, and Satan succeeding in hindering the cause of righteousness for a short time.

The reason why this confusion exists and persists is a common one; people taking this verse out of context. They ignore what is said in Matthew 13:38 by Jesus Christ: “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.” So you see, dear well intentioned but misguided Christian, this verse does not apply to the church in any way, shape, form, or context. In the church settings that people misapply Matthew 13:28-30, one of the many much more appropriate verses is 1 Corinthians 8:1, which reads “Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend“, and those thereabout it. Why? Because in church settings the only offenses which should be suffered are those coming from your BROTHER, meaning your fellowservant in Christ. But if you go back to Matthew 13:38 which explains Matthew 13:28-30, you see that the parable is regarding THE WORLD, not THE CHURCH. And a closer inspection of Matthew 13:28-30 reveals that TARES ARE NOT YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, YOUR FELLOWLABORERS OF THE GOSPEL AND SHARERS IN TRIBULATION. No, TARES ARE THE CHILDREN OF SATAN! They are the ones who called themselves Jews but Jesus Christ rebuked them in John 8:44, saying “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Needless to say, we are NOT to deceive ourselves concerning allowing the children of Satan to tarry in the church! They are abominations, detestable before the sight of God, sowing endless strife and confusion, children of violence and destruction, and who corrupt and defile wherever they are present! They are not to be suffered, but rather should be driven out with all due haste!

To be truthful, children of Satan are not in the church anyway. The true church is composed of the body of believers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Though these children of Satan may believe upon the Name of Jesus Christ, though they may call upon the Name of Jesus Christ, though they may cast out demons and work great miracles using that Name, His Name is not theirs. Why? Because they are not His Sheep! They are the children of wrath, and their future is destruction; gnashing and weeping in outer darkness Matthew 7:21-23! Oh, woe unto them when these sinners fall into the hands of an angry God! Their feet shall slip in due time (borrowing from John Edwards here, and not the presidential candidate), and of theirs fate it can only be said that it would have been better had they never been born!

No, the church is not the world, children of God. What has happened is that we have allowed some of our gathering places to become synagogues of Satan as spoken of by Jesus Christ in Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9 because we have allowed things and people in them that should never have ought to be due to our failure to be steadfast, bold, sincere, and faithful in contending earnestly for the faith. Now I am not castigating individual churches and church people for failing to be perfect, for only God is perfect and without sin. What I am instead speaking of are churches that have fallen into apostasy, the Christians that have allowed it to happen, and even after these places have fallen because of the failure to remove the seed of satan from the church rolls and fellowship, Christians continue to dwell in places that are dry because they have reached the condition of Ichabod: where God’s grace has departed. So, if there are tares in your CHURCH, and if there are tares among the group of people whom you gather around for Christian fellowship, then something has to move. In order for your own integrity to be retained, either they have to go, or you have to. But thinking that you can fraternize with spiritual garbage without getting a little bit of stink on yourself is total folly. Apply this to the natural world. You would not go spend a great sum of money on fine delicate clothing, take great care to dress yourself in that clothing and otherwise adorn yourself, and then go run through some junkyard, landfill, or toxic waste dump! Why? Because even if you avoid colliding with trash and refuse and soiling or tearing your clothing, your clothing will still acquire up the smell! So why do so many Christians take their spirits that have been washed white and clean with the Blood of the Lamb and go run amongst a jungle of TARES?

Christians, the true context of that parable was almost certainly in response to such vexing questions as why the wicked are allowed to continue to exist; why God does not just destroy wicked people immediately. Why it seems that many wicked people even get to enjoy the fruits of their wickedness all of their lives and then go to their graves happy and satisfied off the bones of the poor that they have ground to powder with their meanness and their exploitation. Such things are obviously hard for people to endure, especially when you consider that the audience was Jews living under the brutal subjugation of the wicked pagan Roman Empire. So, Jesus Christ was telling His followers that it was the Will of the Father to allow good and evil to continue on the earth until judgment, and for that reason not to let such things trouble you. This message was probably particularly aimed at the political radicals such as Christ’s own apostle Simon the Zealot who not only wanted Christ to be a political and military leader and overthrow the Roman Empire and punish them for their wickedness, but would even take matters into their own hands! The Zealots were called “dagger men”, because they carried small knives with them so that if they ever found the opportunity to assassinate a Roman official, they would avail themselves of it! So, when it came to earthly matters, this parable gave the same principle to people like Simon Zelotes that Jesus Christ told Simon Peter in Gethsemane: those who live by the sword shall die by the sword!

But oh, when it comes to spiritual matters, Jesus Christ did not apply that principle. Jesus Christ did not allow the wheat and the tares to grow together. No, those of you who misuse and abuse Matthew 13:28-30 know EXACTLY what Jesus Christ did. Our Saviour made Himself a whip of small cords, went inside the temple, and drove the evildoers out! Why? Because the temple was supposed to be a house of PRAYER and not a house of TARES. It is the responsibility of every believer, who compose the body of Christ on earth with Jesus Christ Himself sitting on the right hand of the Father as the Head, to go and do thou likewise Luke 10:37!

How Not To Read The Bible: Misusing Judge Not James 5:9 In Order To Avoid Christian Responsibility

Posted by Job on June 20, 2007

(Note: after you read this see part II: How Not To Read The Bible: When The Wheat And The Tares SHOULD NOT Grow Together)

f course, there are going to be times when honest Christians who love God and are dedicated to His Word will have sincere disagreements. Some of the things in the Bible are mysteries by design, and then you have competing Bible translations interpreted through different traditions and cultures. And I am fine with that. After all, if we were perfect and knew everything, why would we need God? What purpose would there be for faith? Still, there are certain undisputable foundational doctrines and principles on which Christianity is based. Because of the hardness of our hearts and rebellious nature, a great many consciously choose to reject them, and to follow after and fellowship with those who have rejected them. And when the error is brought to light, two common excuses are made. The first is “we should not judge.” That is true; the Bible says that only God can judge, and only God knows the content of a man’s heart. That principle was established with the woman caught in adultery brought before Jesus Christ. Though she sinned, she called Him Lord, and by virtue of her believing upon Him, she was eligible for 1 John 1:9, for God to be faithful and just to forgive her sins. Though her accusers were not caught in any transgression of the law, they could not benefit from 1 John 1:9 because they rejected the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the true nature of God when it was revealed to them. But though we cannot truly judge, let alone try to take corrective action inappropriately (see Romans 12:19) what we can do is apply a plain contextual interpretation of the Bible to people and situations. This should be done responsibly, honestly, and motivated by love for God, the body of Christ, and the accused transgressor, but make no mistake: it should be done. In these instances, you are not judging, but rather forthtelling; giving what the Bible says about people, actions, and situations, with the goal being to convict sin rather than to condemn sinners. Rather than seeking someone’s punishment or destruction, it is done to A) inform the transgressor of the error of his ways in order to give him a chance to change and B) to warn others from following after his path. The Bible is clear: if you see someone doing something to his own hurt and do not warn him and he falls, on judgment day his blood will be required at your hand. Ezekiel 3:20 says it explicitly: Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. It is repeated even more clearly in Ezekiel 33:6 and Ezekiel 33:8 : But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

So you see, acting in this manner is very serious. 1) You fail to correct your brother when he is wrong and allow him to continue in sin. 2) You fail to inform others who would emulate him of sinful behavior and enable their sin. 3) God will hold you personally accountable for those you allow to be destroyed through 1) and 2). 4) You are committing blasphemy. How? Blasphemy is dishonoring or disrespecting God and/or using in vain (i.e. misusing) His Name. Well, the Bible is the Word of God, and Jesus Christ is the Word of God (John 1:1-14). So, when you use the Bible in contradiction and opposition to itself, against its actual intent, purpose and meaning, you blaspheme. Continual misuse and abuse of the Word of God in order to justify error will result in a Christian – or even someone who has come into knowledge of Truth but rejected it – becoming reprobate. Christianity is not a game, and it is not recreation or a diversion. It is 100% serious with the eternal fates of not only ourselves but all of mankind at stake before a God that is so holy and righteous that He cannot even look upon sin, and we need to act accordingly. It is not as if we have not been warned.

Now, you might say, “What if I am not sure? What if the Bible or my understanding of it is conflicting, contradictory, or incomplete? What if I am not in possession of all the facts; of mitigating circumstances?” First of all, pray and seek God’s Holy Spirit for guidance. (As a matter of fact, you should do that anyway with all things!) But in those instances, yes, it is a good thing to fear the Lord and not risk bringing a false accusation against someone (or even making a correct accusation in the wrong spirit; a railing or angry accusation) and holding your peace. Trust God, and when the Holy Spirit moves you to speak in such a matter, speak only according to what the Holy Spirit puts in your mouth. Otherwise, it is actually wise to hold your tongue. It is best to speak in situations where you have to do virtually no “editorializing”, when you are able to let the person’s actions speak for themselves. Just report what they did and supply the relevant scripture. If anyone objects, what will they be objecting to? If they have a problem with the actions of the person they should take it up with the person, and if they have a problem with the scripture then that is between them and God. Either way, if you have acted according to righteousness, sound judgment, and discretion (which the Bible commands even when God uses you to correct someone) then you are blameless before both God and men.

Ultimately, we must concede that there is a great bit of hypocrisy regarding this issue. When it is a matter after the flesh, we have no problem “judging.” If you witness someone robbing, raping, or killing someone else, you would have no problem telling the police, the news media, your friends and neighbors, even total strangers what you saw. You may even intervene to prevent the wrong! No one references James 5:9 if they see a man with a knife attempting to cut the throat of an innocent pregnant woman! No, you would rise up to try to prevent such an atrocity from taking place, and if intervention is unsuccessful you would advocate for that criminal to be tried to the fullest extent of the law, and you would castigate any scenario in which he goes unpunished, especially if he is a threat to victimize someone else! So then, why are we so fearful when it comes to doing the same regarding spiritual things? The reason is because we can SEE the natural things of the flesh. You can SEE a man cutting a woman’s throat. But spiritual things, such as the effects that false doctrine has on people spiritually, you cannot see. Well, let me inform you: where a criminal with a knife has the ability to end the temporary life of a person in this world, a false preacher or teacher can contribute to hundreds, even thousands departing from the narrow path and the strait gate to their destruction for eternity! You will rise up against those wielding knives and guns in the natural world, but cower behind misinterpreted scripture when it comes to people using nuclear bombs and other weapons of mass destruction in the spiritual one. That, fellow servants of Christ, is not the way of God, and is not what He called us to do.

The Magnificat Prayer Of Mary In Luke 1:46-55

Posted by Job on June 13, 2007

Luke 1:46-55 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,  for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

First, let us attend to the false doctrine of Catholics who worship Mary. From Mary’s own prayer, she was obviously not worth being worshipped. Consider her statement “And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden” Had she been born free of original sin, how then, could she have been of low estate? And why did she need a Saviour? The only people ever to have lived that were free of original sin at any point were Jesus Christ, Adam, and Eve. Yet, the Bible is clear that all but Jesus Christ sinned (Romans 3:23, 1 Peter 2:22). Is redemption possible for one who sins in the absence of a sin nature? Well, the Bible has not given any redemption plan for Satan or the demons, nor was any way of redemption given for Adam and Eve. There is not even any redemption for the Christian that continues in sin and blasphemes the Holy Ghost; the sin unto death that Paul delivered the man living in a sexual relationship with his mother unto Satan in order to try to save him from (1 Corinthians 5:5) as well as Hymenaeus and Alexander (1 Timothy 1:20) … a state of reprobation that we are not even to pray for those who enter it (1 John 5:16 – 17). So, had Mary indeed been born free of original sin, there would have been no redemption for her. Rather than being the Catholic queen of heaven, she would be headed for an eternity in the lake of fire. And being that she sinned, she is unworthy for any man to pray to; unworthy of deification, elevation, or veneration.

Another reason why the Catholic (and Eastern Orthodox) practice of venerating Mary is given in this very prayer. Mary was just another person just like you or I. Yet God took this ordinary person of low estate, this person born in sin who committed sin, and used her corrupt flesh as a vessel to work the greatest miracle that ever has been but ever will be: the Word of God becoming flesh. God, which is an omnipotent omnipresent omniscient spirit without beginning or end that the heavens cannot contain (1 Kings 8:27) and the mind cannot comprehend, became a human that inhabited a particular space and lived in a particular time in history without compromising His manhood, His deity, or the nature of God’s Holy Tri – Unity. Why did God use Mary in such a fashion? It is true that Mary was a righteous woman who through faith and obedience submitted herself to God’s Will. But the point was not Mary. The miracle was not Mary. The work was not Mary. It was God. It was the sovereign will of the sovereign God, the I AM, the Self – Existing One, to use Mary in the manner that He pleased.

So, this prayer of Mary shows that you do not have to be special, someone of high degree, birth, or estimation, someone of renown, a “nice good person”, for God to use you to do great things. It doesn’t matter if you are poor. It doesn’t matter if you are handicapped or have mental or emotional problems. It doesn’t matter if you are divorced, or a never – married single mother or father. It doesn’t matter if you have had an abortion, or pushed a woman into getting one. It doesn’t matter if you have a criminal record, or are even in jail right now. No matter what your past, no matter what your present, your future can be with the Lord, and in that future God can use you just as He used Mary: to do great things, mighty things, greater things than Jesus Christ Himself did (John 14:12). All you have to do is abandon any notions of righteousness or goodness inherent in you or anyone else, reject all confidence in human works, and submit. Submit yourself to God and tell Him the same thing that Mary did: Do with me as You will (Luke 1:38). Cast aside the foolish notions of dead works and know that God’s only desire of you is that you believe in Him as He is revealed to you through the scriptures, that you know Him as He shows Himself to you through the scriptures, and that you obey His Will as it is revealed to you through the scriptures. Know this thing and do this thing, and like Mary your soul WILL magnify the Lord. Also, you will be blessed on that great day, the Great White Throne Judgment, when the Son shall testify of you before the Father and the Spirit shall bear witness (see When They Pierced His Side: The Blood And Water Of Jesus Christ) and God tells you well done, calls you His good and faithful servant, and allows you to enter into His rest. If you have not done so already, I invite you to complete The Three Step Salvation Plan so that you might be saved, and the Magnificat Prayer of Mary will also apply to you.

US Birthrate Lowest Ever! So How Is Our Population Growing?

Posted by Job on June 7, 2007

See this link ( The native – born birthrate in America is the lowest in recorded history. Yet our population is booming; 300 million or thereabouts. (Or it is booming for some groups anyway; the black population is crawling at about a 1% increase, and the percentage of the population that is black has fallen from 14% to 11%). So, where is the population coming from? Immigration. Mostly ILLEGAL immigration. Now America has its share of problems, always has, but it has still been one of the best and leading nations in the world for PROTESTANT Christianity virtually since its inception, and a high native – born birthrate keeps it that way. But by decreasing the native – born birthrate with the normalization of abortion and divorce (even within conservative churches) and the glamorization of homosexuality and opening the doors to legal and illegal immigrants who practice Catholicism and other religions, TBN and the other Christian broadcasting networks turning the charismatic movement into a big Word of Faith Jesus Only oneness pentecostal modalism heresy abomination, the New Age – inspired syncretism movement, the mainline churches denying the truth and inerrancy of scripture at every turn, etc. the Protestant/Reformed Christian population of our nation is more at risk than ever. That is bad news for America and worse news for Israel. Now we have had at least two “Great Awakenings” in the past (and if you want to count the charismatic revival at least three; I really do not see why not) when it seemed that America was going to turn wholly away from Protestant Christianity. But since the leaders of modern Christendom are either going after money and preaching a bland inoffensive false gospel or are seeking power and to impose their views and will on a world that rejected God and fell into sin through Adam in the garden of Eden using politics, who is going to lead this awakening? Will it be you?

Father God in the Name Of Jesus Christ, please raise up true preachers, teachers, prophets, and evangelists to awake the masses to Your Word, Your Will, Your Spirit, Your Authority, and Your Son, so that there will be righteous men and women found in this nation lest it fall. Amen.
