People, if I TRIED to make up things pertaining to the current wicked state of the world – with people calling themselves Christians contributing to a heavy part of it – I would not be able to come up with anything like this. The nugget describing the various people (including Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich) in this $300 million dollar ad campaign that they honestly claim is “being largely funded with profits from the movie An Inconvenient Truth” (which only made $15 million in the U.S. … even “Fahrenheit 9/11″, the highest grossing documentary ever barely made $100 million in the US!). Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives, religious right and religious left all sitting in a tree … the article below proves that all of these people, who are heavily involved with the Council on Foreign Relations and other similar organizations, are on the same side. Now we know that John McCain, who has been promoting this agenda for some time now in return for his shot at going from being a back bench senator to someone that people have actually heard of, has joined up with these people. And we also know Barack Obama’s connections to them, and those of his wife. Hillary Clinton? Married to Bill, so enough said!
People, the end is near. Jesus Christ is coming back soon, and only those that are born again will be ready to meet Him. Are you one of those ready to meet the Lord? If not, please follow The Three Step Salvation Plan right now!

This article (click here) asserts that Portugal spent $400 million to provide solar electricity to 30,000 homes.
Now working from the 2000 census, America has 435 Congressional districts with a population of 650,000 each. 650,000 is about 22 times 30,000. So, multiply 22 times 435 times 400, and you get 3,828,000 multiples of $1 million for how much money it would take to convert this nation to solar power with existing technology. $1 million dollars 3,828,000 times equates to $3, 828,000,000,000! That’s right, FOUR TRILLION DOLLARS!
And please keep in mind: I am not a fossil fuel guy. God miraculously healed me of asthma a couple of years ago, but not before I suffered through quite a few “high smog days!” And as someone who spend a few summers near a Department of Energy site where huge drums of nuclear waste from the Manhattan Project are still buried, I cannot muster the zeal that many have for nuclear power. Or let me say this: I will support nuclear power the day that the people who advocate for it will volunteer for the “byproducts” created by nuclear power to be buried in their own backyards. Or better yet, the day that the nuclear waste is buried on the lands of the palatial estates owned by the CEOs of energy companies! So residents of Yucca Mountain, Nevada and thereabouts? I see your point!
So, this is coming to you from a person that is a huge advocate of alternative energy in general and solar power specifically. If we are going to gain energy independence, it is going to cost a lot of money and require a lot of leadership and sacrifices. And no, supply side Reagan economic conservatives, “the free market” isn’t going to magically rise up and meet this need. Why? Because if energy companies are making record profits off oil, why should they? So it is better for the right and the left to pretend that the problem does not exist. The right pretends that if there was a REAL NEED for alternative fuels, the energy companies would rise up and meet it out of their sense of love and benevolence for their fellow man, responsibility to the working and middle classes, and patriotism for this country. And the left? They would much rather take the $4 trillion and spend it to provide health care benefits for the illegal immigrant children adopted by married homosexual couples.
Then there is the fact that the brilliant and courageous scientists, engineers, economists, and political and business leaders that should be working on solving this energy crisis as we speak were murdered by abortion! How big is the abortion death toll now, 50 million people since Roe v. Wade was handed down? Even though I oppose the Iraq War, that 50 million puts the 4,000 servicemen killed in Iraq (plus the large number of civilian contractors and let us not forget about the Iraqi civilians!) into context, doesn’t it? And we are not even going to talk about how much closer the tax revenue generated by the 50 million lost workers would have put us to that 4 trillion dollars.
People, in a world filled with tough choices and no easy answers, small wonder why even the religious leaders – let alone the political and business ones – would rather talk about something else. If you are a so – called Christian leader that is not born again through Jesus Christ and as a result lack the comforting and emboldening influence of the Holy Spirit, you are going to run from tough issues and the very notion of sacrifice like the plague. Hmmm … does that remind you of a certain president of the United States who during his presidential campaign claimed Jesus Christ as his favorite political philosopher, but now claims that all religions worship the same God?

Rev. Moon-allied group hosts Bush brother in Paraguay – CNN.com
ASUNCION, Paraguay (AP) — Neil Bush, younger brother of President Bush, called on Paraguay’s president as the guest of a business federation founded by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. A presidential press office source, who spoke on condition of not being named, confirmed the younger Bush met President Nicanor Duarte on Thursday along with a delegation from the Universal Peace Federation, a group associated with Moon.
Duarte had no statement on the meeting. Antonio Betancourt, a spokesman for the federation, said that Bush visited Duarte and later met with an opposition congressional leader, Sen. Miguel Abdon Saguier, and that both expressed interest in the Bush family and discussed local matters. Betancourt said Bush later attended a leadership seminar sponsored by the federation. The federation’s Web site says it is trying to promote peace in the Middle East, South Asia and other regions, as well as proposing a 50
mile (85-kilometer), $200 billion tunnel linking Siberia and Alaska.
A leading Paraguayan newspaper, ABC Color, reported Friday that Bush spoke at the leadership seminar about instilling a “culture of service” and better uniting individuals and organizations behind objectives that serve peace and the common good. It said the seminar, held at an Asuncion hotel, was entitled “Toward a New Paradigm of Leadership and Government in Times of World Crisis.” The newspaper said other participants included Jose Maria Sanguinetti, the former Uruguayan president. Groups allied with Moon publish a newspaper, operate businesses and have large land holdings in Paraguay, South America’s second-poorest country. Copyright 2008 The Associated Press. OK, so how many of these religious right leaders know about the financial ties between the Bush family and Moon and aren’t saying anything? Probably about the same number that themselves have ties to Moon! People, Jesus Christ is coming back soon, because this anti – Christ system of politics and economics based on all of these strange “universal peace” religious cults is steadily on the march! Are you studying, researching, watching and praying so that you will not be deceived? If not, then what is your excuse? Or maybe your problem is that you are not born again, not a believer in Jesus Christ. If that is your issue then fix it right now: follow The Three Step Salvation Plan!

Pardon me, but has anyone but me noticed that things have gotten much worse for Christians all around the world ever since George W. Bush took office? Incidentally, Muslims have been burning churches and running Christians out of the area for months. Not that the media has been reporting it by the way. Also, not only did the Bush administration immediately recognize this new Muslim state, but the Republican Congress could have prevented us from going to war against them in the first place and did not. They did a lot of grumbling and griping to score some political points as usual, but when it came down to it the only real opposition to the war on the right or the left was by Jesse Jackson. I have to admit, I supported Clinton’s war in the beginning, but stopped when Clinton chose a war strategy that would maximize innocent civilian casualties while minimizing our own, not out of actual concern for the lives of our troops but for P.R. purposes, something patently evil and immoral. But again, the GOP did nothing to prevent the immoral war or the way that it was waged. Religious right Christians, it shows you which side the Republicans are really on; they are no different from the Democrats. Link courtesy of SoldierServant.

The little piece of literature is making the predictable rounds around the Internet, so it is fitting that I took it from this site. Let me preface my comments with this: the piece is a sham. And according to this link from the outlet where this evil manifesto first appeared, the guy who wrote it doesn’t even believe it, but is using it as a publicity stunt to advance his writing career. That shows how easy it is to manipulate people that lack Biblical mindsets. I should know: I voted for George W. Bush. Twice. Please see below.
There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next president has to be a lot better than George Bush. The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates — a woman and an African-American — while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod to a quasi-liberal maverick, John McCain.
Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians. (Great job comparing working mothers to homosexuals, sex change operation recipients, and criminals.) There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard.
His common traits are that he isn’t looking for anything from anyone — just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field. (Which has never existed anywhere in the world and never will.) In many cases, he is an independent businessman and employs several people. He pays more than his share of taxes and works hard. The victimhood syndrome buzzwords — “disenfranchised,” “marginalized” and “voiceless” — don’t resonate with him. (Except when he applies them to himself using different buzzwords. As a matter of fact, the National Review’s Michael Graham wrote the book Redneck Nation, which asserts that blacks learned the victim mentality from southern whites!) “Press ‘one’ for English” is a curse-word to him. He’s used to picking up the tab, whether it’s the company Christmas party, three sets of braces, three college educations or a beautiful wedding. (So people like this expect credit for doing what they should be doing anyway? A big thank you for being responsible moral people? What, your tie on Father’s Day isn’t good enough for you?)
He believes the Constitution is to be interpreted literally, not as a “living document” open to the whims and vagaries of a panel of judges who have never worked an honest day in their lives. (You can keep your Constitution written by humanists, freemasons, Unitarians, deists, and Enlightment philosopher wannabe slave raping Thomas Jeffersons. I will stick to interpreting by Holy Bible literally and living by it.) The Angry White Man owns firearms, and he’s willing to pick up a gun to defend his home and his country. He is willing to lay down his life to defend the freedom and safety of others, and the thought of killing someone who needs killing really doesn’t bother him. (And yet God was greatly bothered after destroying the wicked world with the flood. That is in Genesis, in the book whose literal interpretation should mean a lot more to you than the Constitution.)
The Angry White Man is not a metrosexual, a homosexual or a victim. Nobody like him drowned in Hurricane Katrina — he got his people together and got the hell out, then went back in to rescue those too helpless and stupid to help themselves, often as a police officer, a National Guard soldier or a volunteer firefighter. (47% of Katrina victims were white. Most of the people stranded there either tried to ride out the hurricane or did not have cars.) His last name and religion don’t matter. His background might be Italian, English, Polish, German, Slavic, Irish, or Russian, and he might have Cherokee, Mexican, or Puerto Rican mixed in, but he considers himself a white American. (And these same people demand of everyone else that they only consider themselves Americans with no regard for race instead of “hyphenated Americans”. Self – serving hypocrisy comes with anger I suppose.)
He’s a man’s man, the kind of guy who likes to play poker, watch football, hunt white-tailed deer, call turkeys, play golf, spend a few bucks at a strip club once in a blue moon, change his own oil and build things. He coaches baseball, soccer and football teams and doesn’t ask for a penny. He’s the kind of guy who can put an addition on his house with a couple of friends, drill an oil well, weld a new bumper for his truck, design a factory and publish books. He can fill a train with 100,000 tons of coal and get it to the power plant on time so that you keep the lights on and never know what it took to flip that light switch. (Can he cast out demons? Make the blind see? Heal the sick? Raise the dead? Otherwise I am not impressed.)
Women either love him or hate him, but they know he’s a man, not a dishrag. If they’re looking for someone to walk all over, they’ve got the wrong guy. He stands up straight, opens doors for women and says “Yes, sir” and “No, ma’am.” He might be a Republican and he might be a Democrat; he might be a Libertarian or a Green. He knows that his wife is more emotional than rational, and he guides the family in a rational manner.
He’s not a racist, but he is annoyed and disappointed when people of certain backgrounds exhibit behavior that typifies the worst stereotypes of their race. (Does by fulfilling the worst stereotypes of their race does he mean people like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney? Of course not.) He’s willing to give everybody a fair chance if they work hard, play by the rules and learn English. (I agree, George W. Bush should certainly learn English.)
Most important, the Angry White Man is @#$%ed off. (Amazing that an unnecessary coarse vulgarity that I just edited out was printed in a newspaper. Then again, maybe it isn’t amazing in the least.) When his job site becomes flooded with illegal workers who don’t pay taxes and his wages drop like a stone, he gets righteously angry. (Bush doesn’t. And by the way, black workers were displaced by the millions of Irish, Italians, Polish, and other white immigrants in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Not that any of you care about that.) When his job gets shipped overseas, and he has to speak to some incomprehensible idiot in India for tech support, he simmers. (Since you spoke of incomprehensible idiots, Bush doesn’t.) When Al Sharpton comes on TV, leading some rally for reparations for slavery or some such nonsense, he bites his tongue and he remembers. (Remembers what? About how white people were perfectly fine with big government under the New Deal when they got 99% of the benefits, and only started wanting small government after the New Deal had built the white middle class and the Great Society tried to give blacks a LIMITED version of what whites received then and still disproportionately receive now under Social Security, MediCare, and prescription drugs and will receive in the near future with universal healthcare? Naah, angry white males have forgotten all that.) When a child gets charged with carrying a concealed weapon for mistakenly bringing a penknife to school, he takes note of who the local idiots are in education and law enforcement. (What ever happened to “Do the crime, do the time, lock ’em up and throw away the key! Oh I forgot, that was before zero tolerance policies started being enforced on white suburban kids. None of these folks cared when blacks were receiving cruel sentences for minor crimes. Crack cocaine versus powder cocaine anyone? Or how about a life term because stealing a slice of pizza is your third strike?)
He also votes, and the Angry White Man loathes Hillary Clinton. Her voice reminds him of a shovel scraping a rock. He recoils at the mere sight of her on television. Her very image disgusts him, and he cannot fathom why anyone would want her as their leader. It’s not that she is a woman. It’s that she is who she is. It’s the liberal victim groups she panders to, the “poor me” attitude that she represents, her inability to give a straight answer to an honest question, his tax dollars that she wants to give to people who refuse to do anything for themselves. (Again, this makes her different from George W. Bush how? Amazing how none of these people care the least about how much money Halliburton, the Carlyle Group, Blackwater, and the oil companies have received via corporate welfare and outright fraud. And don’t get me started on faith – based programs and vouchers …)
There are many millions of Angry White Men. Four million Angry White Men are members of the National Rifle Association, and all of them will vote against Hillary Clinton, just as the great majority of them voted for George Bush. (No comment required.) He hopes that she will be the Democratic nominee for president in 2008, and he will make sure that she gets beaten like a drum.
Suffice it to say this: ungodly anger is a sin. Evidence: Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath says Ephesians 4:26. Further James 1:20 says For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Now did righteous men in the Bible get angry? Yes, but it was godly anger. Godly anger is getting angry at one thing – SIN – for one reason – BECAUSE SIN IS A CRIME AGAINST A RIGHTEOUS GOD. Now if you have never experienced godly anger, then there is a great chance that you are not born again because either you have no concept in the spiritual matter of what a great offense vile sin is to God, or you know but don’t care. People like that make up the “judge not” community, as well as those that claim the grace of God grants one license to either be lascivious (Jude 1:4) or forces them to endure evil without condemning and acting against it (1 Corinthians 5:1-5). But if you get angry for any reason other than realizing what a profane stench sin makes in the nostrils of God and how abominable it is in the eyes of God and how it vexes and pains the very definition of love, mercy, patience, forgiveness, and righteousness, well then your anger is a sin. And that sin makes you every bit as much in danger of eternal judgment in the lake of fire as the people that you are angry with (some of which no doubt will be saved … Matthew 5:3 did say blessed is the poor for theirs is the kingdom of heaven after all)!
So please, follow The Three Step Salvation Plan so that your anger can go from being ungodly to being as the godly anger of Jesus Christ exhibited when He drove the moneychangers out of the temple, and do it right now for tomorrow is not promised to you.

Still more evidence that conservative Protestant evangelicals have been taken for a ride by Rome.
D.C. may get 7 ‘values-based’ schools – USATODAY.com
For Catholic schools in the nation’s capital, it’s feast and famine these days.
Donors have helped the Archdiocese of Washington pump $60 million into its schools in the past decade. In 2004, Congress approved a $14 million voucher that paid tuition last year for more than 1,900 students.
But as in other big cities, shifting demographics have drained D.C. of families who want to send their kids to Catholic schools, even when it’s free. And Congress, which is controlled by Democrats, probably won’t renew the voucher program.
Meanwhile, the city is at the heart of the USA’s quiet love affair with privately run, publicly financed charter schools: One in five D.C. students attend a charter.
Faced with a $55 million long-term deficit and the looming closure of nearly half its schools, the archdiocese awaits approval of an unusual proposal: converting a handful of schools to secular “values based” charter schools that reflect Catholic morality but don’t overtly teach church doctrine.
FIND MORE STORIES IN: Washington | Congress | Catholic | Archdiocese | DC
The bid represents the largest of its kind so far — and though it stands a good chance of approval by the D.C. Public Charter School Board in April, it’s opposed by the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA), which says the schools will lose their greatest strength: their religious character.
“This isn’t a path for everyone,” says archdiocese spokeswoman Susan Gibbs. “But we look around at other dioceses and they close their doors. We couldn’t do that.”
An independent, non-profit board would run the seven proposed elementary schools, with no teaching of Catholic doctrine, no in-school prayer and no religious artifacts on the walls. In fact, none of the proposed charters would be considered “Catholic” schools. Essentially the archdiocese would act as a landlord.
In that sense, it’s similar to arrangements in places such as Buffalo, and Gary, Ind., where church schools have been transformed into non-religious charters.
“We’re sad that they can’t be Catholic schools,” NCEA president Karen Ristau says of the D.C. proposal. “There will be no religious doctrine or celebration of faith or prayer in the school day.”
Though charters enjoy freedom from most regulations on personnel, curriculum, budget and teaching methods, Ristau says religious instruction is still out. “As far as I know, there’s no wiggle room.”
In the past few years, charter schools in Florida, Minnesota and New York that have approached the line between values-based learning and religious instruction have run afoul of critics who say they’re ignoring the U.S. Constitution’s prohibition on government sponsorship of religion.
Ristau calls proposals such as D.C.’s “a temporary solution to a serious problem” facing churches across the nation. Recent data from Georgetown University’s Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate finds that though the percentage of Americans who are Catholic has remained steady since 1995, the number of Catholic elementary schools dropped about 10%; secondary schools have dropped 2.3%.
“At a time when we’re all trying to figure out how to create good public schools in the inner city, it’s a shame that good public schools in the inner city are going away,” says Mike Petrilli of the Thomas B. Fordham Foundation, a Washington education think tank.
Gibbs says the archdiocese is keeping its options open. If neighborhoods change, she says, “We still have the buildings. … In 10 years, we may want to open a Catholic school again.”

Now Russia cannot be happy about this, especially since they have their own issues with Chechnya. Still, the US helped the Muslims attain their entire objective. They were allowed entry into the region for humanitarian reasons, and once they had settled in, they demanded their own independent Muslim state. When the Serbians defended their land, certainly they committed crimes against humanity, but the media never told why this was happening in the first place. So the Clinton administration intervened on behalf of the imperialistic Muslims in a war that Code Pink, International A.N.S.W.E.R., Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Cindy Sheehan, Nancy Pelosi, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the rest of the anti – war left had absolutely no problem with (EXCEPT JESSE JACKSON!) and virtually everyone seems to have forgotten ever happened.
And now, immediately after the Muslims did what they planned to do from the outset (and with our help!) in stealing a piece of that country for their own European base (the Crusades are starting up again!) George W. Bush grants them official recognition as a nation, without even consulting NATO, the EU, the U.N., or even Bush’s ally Vladimir Putin.
My bet: from here, the EU admits Kosovo. After that is done, it will be impossible to continue to deny entrance to Turkey. And what did the books of Daniel and Revelation say about the endtimes? There will be ten kingdoms! Now you should realize that both George Bush and Bill Clinton have been working to get us towards that evil time.
Here is another view: http://theamericanscene.com/2008/02/18/kosovo-yawn

This link Bush AIDS Fund Credited With Saving Lives: $15 Billion Fund Made Bush Popular Across Africa had a comment on it by a Bush opponent that mentioned that the $15 billion was merely a payoff to get African nations to back Africom. So, I a quick investigation and saw this BBC link (I am finding the American press increasingly worthless): The controversy over Africom. If anyone knows anything more about this, please let me know. Remember: Daniel and Revelation spoke of 10 kingdoms.
You know, this was precisely the sort of thing that I considered Barack HUSSEIN Obama of being capable of pulling off in case he becomes President, but George W. Bush has beat him to it, first with his militarization of Ethiopia allegedly to defend from the Al Qaeda threat in Somalia, and now this. I suppose that it demonstrates that the spirit of anti – Christ has gotten so strong in the earth that it is overpowering even class/race considerations.
But if any of you have heard of AFRICOM, especially if you have military/foreign policy/national security backgrounds or expertise, let me know.

I first saw this here but it was confirmed in this devotional as well. Man oh man, I love this election season. So many prominent Christian leaders in the limelight are being exposed for what they are. From the people backing Huckabee despite knowing his connections to the Council on Foreign Relations and to apostates like Kenneth Copeland and John Hagee to Pat Robertson backing Giuliani to the MANY evangelicals and even some fundamentalists backing Mormon Mitt Romney to Donnie McClurkin and many other leading black Christians backing Barack HUSSEIN Obama (here, here, here, here, here, here) well the Lord is exposing for the whole world to see what these prominent Christians are really about and after – the things of this world.Christians, is this the falling away of the American church? If so, make sure that you are not part of that falling away. In a sense, things have been this bad for quite awhile, because the fact that Martin Luther King, Jr. was no better than a Mormon because he did not believe in the deity or resurrection of Jesus Christ despite it being commonly reported … so many people do not know because they do not care to know. And never forget: King’s rise was due to so many alleged Christians, many of them evangelicals and fundamentalists, supporting segregation and racism! Still, I regularly ask some older (than me) Christians have things always been this bad, and even the ones that personally experienced segregation and poverty say without hesitation “No, it wasn’t.”

“The word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, prophesy against the
shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign
LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves!
Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe
yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not
take care of the flock. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the
sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or
searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. So they
were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered
they became food for all the wild animals. My sheep wandered over all the
mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth,
and no one searched or looked for them.” Ezekiel 34:1-6
A sad commentary on so many pastors and Christian leaders right from God’s
Word. Last week I was doing some study in the Book of Ezekiel. In reading
through some passages, I came across these first 6 verses in Ezekiel 34. As
I read these words, I could only think that this was the sad description of
so many pastors and Christian leaders today. 50 years ago, you could sit in
the pew of most any church of any denomination and hear the Truth of God’s
Word. Those pastors and the men and women God raised up on the national
scene were men and women who would never compromise the Truth of the Bible
and understood their only mission was to bring the lost to Christ.
Fast forward to the year 2008 and you have entire denominations of pastors
who don’t even preach, teach or believe the Bible. It is questionable if
many pastors were ever “called” and are even saved. Those who have risen up
into national prominence are more worried about selling books, having the
newest private jet, building bigger buildings, and living like the rulers of
small nations rather than preaching the unadulterated Truth of the Bible and
leading the lost to faith in Jesus Christ. My goodness, you now have
so-called Christian leaders who are endorsing and working for the member of
a satanic cult to become our next President!!!
When these are the men and women leading the people, why are we surprised
that many who sit in the pews of the nations churches on Sunday aren’t even
saved, don’t accept the Bible as Absolute Truth and our only authority, and
the majority of the ones who do lead weak and ineffective lives. That is
why I encourage people all the time to seek out a pastor who is a true
shepherd. That is increasingly difficult today, but there are still many
men of God who have not bowed their knee to Baal and are not the shepherds
described in Ezekiel 34. Sunday is the day most Christians go to church. It
is the only time most of you ever see your pastor, and that is usually from
your seat in the sanctuary as he leads the worship service and preaches the
Having preached in over 500 churches of every denomination nationwide, I can
honestly tell you that for most pastors, Sunday morning is their favorite
day of the week and the one day they usually feel their work for God really
has some meaning. You can never know the pressure most pastors are under. If
it was only getting up on Sunday morning and being the “man of God” it would
be wonderful, but that is not reality. It is a 7-day a week, 24-hour a day
calling. Many have outside jobs. There is the constant pressures of raising
the budget, dealing with the interpersonal problems that always exist when
you have a group of people, overseeing the political infighting that often
occurs, on top of the spiritual requirements of shepherding the flock,
having an anointed word each week for the various services, and other
requirements the office of pastor carries with it.
My prayer for you today is to support your pastor. Pray for your pastor each
day. John 10 gives us the picture of the ideal pastor. Pray that your pastor
will be able to tear away from the distractions of this world to be the
shepherd described in John 10. God has placed that pastor in your life to
guide you, spiritually nurture you, and have spiritual leadership over your
life. Do all you can to show your love and appreciation for all your pastor
does for you, most of which you may not even recognize. Also, God has placed
your pastor in your life for spiritual leadership. When you come into times
of crisis, don’t hesitate to go to your pastor. That is ultimately why they
are there, to help you and guide you through those difficult times in your
I love you and care about you so much. I pray for you daily. Sadly, today
there are too many pastors and Christian leaders who fall into the
description found in Ezekiel 34. It makes the work that much more difficult
when you have people running around calling themselves Christians, but
supporting sins like abortion, homosexuality, the destruction of God’s plan
fo the family. You have others who think there is nothing wrong with
belonging to a cult or false religions and they have bought the
universalistic lie from hell that everyone will get to Heaven.
Let this message today be a remember to lift up your pastor in prayer and
recognize him for all he does for your life. God has called His sheep to be
obedient and obey those in spiritual authority. Take inventory and see if
you are fulfilling this admonition, and ask God to help you. He loves you so
much, that he has placed your pastor in your life to shepherd you and guide
you in your spiritual journey. Show your love for Him today by praying for
and supporting your pastor.
In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,

From Brother IndependentConservative’s link below.
I fully respect George W. Bush as the chief executive of our nation. I respect our President. On some major matters of policy I’ve agreed
with him more than some of his political rivals. I’ve got no problem
saying I voted for him in 2004, given the field of candidates in that
race. You probably could search this blog and find many posts I’ve made
in support of President Bush regarding many political matters, although
at times I’ve spoken in opposition. Still overall I’ve usually been
more in agreement with him politically than in opposition.
But never mind the politics, I just wanted to note that I honestly
respect our President for the position God ordained him to hold for the
moment. I also wanted to make clear I’m not some “anti-Bush” Moonbat,
that has been seeking his impeachment. Just the same, I can’t go
claiming someone is a Christian when their own fruit proves them not to
be and I’m not talking about policy matters, but matters of personal
I’ve pointed out previously in a post titled Why President George W. Bush Honestly is Not a Christian details of why I can’t see Bush as my brother in Christ. Our President, yes, but not a brother in Christ.
Now my brother in Christ Walter Kambulow has passed me an article you should read in full titled He’d rather talk about sex than God. The article’s subheading is the following:
George Bush built his career on his faith. But his key religious adviser tells of a different man behind the born-again image
Now there is a whole lot I could say about the article in point by
point analysis here, but I just think you need to read it in full
yourself. Because without all the lengthy analysis from me, the article
should help any true saint see that the point of Bush not being a
Christian is greatly reinforced by that article. He is a man who has
found a means to control some of his personal issues. He is
not a man who desires to spread the message of salvation in Jesus
Christ as the ONLY means for salvation. And for you who were told that
Bush took some time from political pandering, to speak to some little
child about Christ and walked the child though the formulaic “sinners prayer”, that story is a big hoax. Bush is a man who might like to read
the Bible at times, but he is not a man who is expressing the truth
found in scripture. He is a man who plays on religious jargon for
Regarding Bush’s Bible reading, it seems to vary depending on the year.
|Bush’s Official Reading List, and a Racy Omission
Mr. Bush noted that he liked the Hamilton biography because “it was a
very interesting history of how hard it was to get democracy started.”
He also told Mr. Lamb that he reads the Bible daily every other year,
and in the years in between he reads a daily devotional by Oswald
Chambers, a Protestant minister of Scotland from a century ago.
Mr. Bush told Mr. Lamb that “Oswald Chambers was one of the great
Christian thinkers” and that “the easier it is to understand what he
writes, I think, the more understanding of religion a person becomes.”
This year, the president said, he is once again making his way through
So he’s reading scripture every other year. It just seems
like he now finds the Bible to be nice reading material, rather than
the Word of God and essential to daily spiritual growth. I mean if he
said this rotation was an every other day matter I might not take
notice, but every other year. No wonder Bush speaks the language of
secular humanism when actually asked how one can reach God. I mean if
someone told me to try NOT reading my Bible for a year and just
listening to some preacher I feel is good to listen too, I’d laugh in
Oh well, Bush is not the first to play off religion for political gain and he certainly won’t be the last.

Welcome my fellow warriors. If you have wondered why I have taken so long between these messages, I have been waiting patiently to see what the Lord would do and how he would allow the completed event that has happened – this terrible event, that is going to effect the United States absolutely negatively. We need to stand together to pray.
Our President, a man that I had supported for many, many years and had high respect for, has
basically allowed himself and the government of the United States to abandon Israel. After the war between Israel and Lebanon, where the Lebanon terrorists kidnapped soldiers and killed them, Israel went back in and fought the first politically led war in the history of the nation. The US
President ordered a re-evaluation of the military co-operation pact between Israel and the United States. The decision was that Israel was no longer a viable military partner because of the
government that was in control in Israel.
Right after that, Israel and Jordan realized that they were basically on their own. For those of you that do not have the knowledge of this, America had been, and probably still is if they’ve not moved it away, storing large amounts of military equipment ready for combat in the Mideast. Israel and
America were part of a joint missile command for the defense of that area and Israel had been in co-operation with America on weapons platform development. But Israel is now considered a second-class citizen so the President, Condolezza Rice and other members of the government, have decided that America is going to make “new” friends.
I, along with any who have listened to his speeches, have heard President Bush publicly call Israel
aggressors and occupiers, saying that Israel must submit. The President of the United States and
his minions are forcing Israel – that is, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert –to do things that are detrimental to Israel and could cause its utter destruction if we are not careful. Now, having said that, I want to tell you that I believe this is all part of prophecy. It is not the government in general of Israel that is agreeing to this but Prime Minister Olmert, who is a total traitor. He is absolutely working against the good of the nation itself in order to retain his political position. What his motivation is
spiritually, we don’t know but I tell you, his actions are disastrous because he talks with “two faces.”
For example, the demand was made that Israel should stop expanding it’s neighborhoods in
Jerusalem – we’re not even talking about what they call the ‘held area.” Yet, the Prime Minister said, “No, I’ll stop building outside of the borders but not inside of the borders.” Then he turns around, and this is what you do not hear, and notifies the building licensing authority and the ministry of housing that all permits, even those already approved, must be sent to him for re-approval- which he will not do. So, he is saying with one mouth that he will build and yet he has
prevented the building from taking place. I can only tell you all, now, that we must stand in prayer and in action. We must flood the United States Government with our displeasure at the fact that the United States thinks they may dictate the safety and well being of another country.
Israel cannot survive in pre-’67 borders. It is being pushed into indefensible borders at the same time that the United States is selling out and arming its enemies. Let me give you another ‘for instance.’ This happened yesterday and the day before. Our gas prices jumped up to almost $100 a
barrel crude, based on speculation. Bush goes to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has OPEC announce that if necessary they will increase production. It scares the heck out of the speculators that the price of gas, at least where I am, goes down sixteen cents a gallon in one day. And I promise you that the only thing that the President could promise Saudi Arabia would be Israel and a few hundred million dollars worth of arms, including the JDAM precision guided missile (Joint Direct Attack Munitions).
For those who may not know, the JDAM missile is an active guided targeted missile which could cut the technological superiority of Israel. Israel has 6 million and they hundreds of millions, having the
technological edge is necessary for Israel’s survival. Now the US has gotten new allies while they are abandoning Israel. I call upon all of you to show your displeasure with what is going on with the government, to speak loudly in your newspapers, e-mails, congressmen and senators. Just talk to everyday people that do not understand that Israel is being dictated into destruction. Again, all these events are Biblical.
This is a long but necessary missive that I am sending you. I’ve waited all these months to see the complete picture – that President Bush has totally sold out our nation of Israel – ‘our’ being both myself as Messianic Jewish and you, all believers, Messianic believers in the Messiah and His coming. We need to stand for the right of our Lord, our Messiah and our nation. I know intercessors who, when they heard these facts, began to cry because they understood the terrible consequences of what happens when someone or nation turns their back on Israel.
The next thing we need to pray for jointly is that the damage Prime Minister Olmert of Israel can and will do be mitigated by our prayer and standing on the Word of God. While we know that this type of person needs to be in charge for the prophecies to be fulfilled, he has gotten absolutely worse and worse each and every day. As the President of the United States gives him instructions, so he goes forth and does what he’s told. I don’t’ know why this is going on except for the Scriptural intent of it.
Also, let us turn for a moment to the United States. In the US there action taking place in every state of the Union using our own laws against us to nullify and cleanse religion and allow Islam to get a
foothold. Without going into great detail on that, I want to ask you all that we join together in prayer for God’s will, His mitigating mercies and that we will expand this remnant that we are all part of. As individuals, we can join together and be the light of the Lord – not just bring the light but be the light. We will continue together to bring the light forth.
Invite your friends to join us. They can sign up also for Desk of the Rabbi at Deskoftherabbi@aol.com, as you all know. We are looking for a way to insure that we can continue to get the Word of God out in a greater way. Looking forward to your responses to this missive, if any. Bless you all and remember that this is the great and terrible day of the Lord – great for the believer – terrible for the unbeliever and worse for the make believer. Let us help those make believers who don’t know that they are, come into the full light of the Lord. And let us pray for the
salvation of the Muslims so they will want to stop killing.
Bless you all,
In Service to the King,
Rabbi Moshe Laurie email@example.com

Original link here. Interesting that none of the presidential candidates are talking about this.
RIYADH: President George W. Bush, on his first visit to Saudi Arabia, announced a major weapons sale Monday to an important ally in a region where the United States has been casting neighboring Iran as a menace to global stability. (And Saudi Arabia isn’t?)
The administration was notifying Congress of its intent to sell $20 billion in weapons, including precision-guided bombs, to the Saudis. It is “a pretty big package, lots of pieces,” the national security adviser, Stephen Hadley, said on Air Force One.
The sale is an important part of the U.S. strategy to bolster the defenses of
oil-producing Gulf nations against what Washington asserts is a threat from
Iran. The official announcement will start a 30-day review period during which
Congress could try to block the sale, which has already raised concerns among
Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states, which have majority Sunni Muslim
populations, harbor deep suspicions about Shiite Iran’s apparent designs to
establish itself as a major power. They have reacted skeptically to the
conclusions of a new U.S. intelligence estimate about Iran that it was not
trying to establish a nuclear-weapons program.
Sarkozy praises Saudis
President Nicolas Sarkozy of France on Monday hailed progress in improving
freedom of speech and women’s rights in Saudi Arabia, though he called movement
on both issues slow, The Associated Press reported from Riyadh. Sarkozy was speaking to the Consultative Council, an all-male group that proposes laws in the kingdom and follows a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam.”On the condition of women and freedom of expression, Saudi Arabia has also taken action,” Sarkozy said, “slowly, it’s true, but who would not be impressed by the changes that have taken place over the past few years?”
Six women were appointed to the council’s advisory board in June 2006. They are, however, not considered members of the group.
