Islamic Jesus Movie: From Iran With Love! How Long Before TBN Airs It?

Posted by Job on January 14, 2008

Note: please see Trinity Broadcasting Network Tries To Merge Islam And Christianity! for the justification of my TBN comment in the title.

‘Islamic Jesus’ hits Iranian movie screens

16 hours ago TEHRAN (AFP) — A director who shares the ideas of Iran’s hardline president has produced what he says is the first film giving an Islamic view of Jesus Christ, in a bid to show the “common ground” between Muslims and Christians.

Nader Talebzadeh sees his movie, “Jesus, the Spirit of God,” as an Islamic answer to Western productions like Mel Gibson’s 2004 blockbuster “The Passion of the Christ,” which he praised as admirable but quite simply “wrong”.

“Gibson’s film is a very good film. I mean that it is a well-crafted movie but the story
is wrong — it was not like that
,” he said, referring to two key differences: Islam sees Jesus as a prophet, not the son of God, and does not believe he was crucified. Talebzadeh said he even went to Gibson’s mansion in Malibu, California, to show him his film. “But it was Sunday and the security at the gate received the film and the brochure and promised to deliver it,” though the Iranian never heard back. (Wonder why two guys that reject the Bible for tradition and both hate Jews cannot get along.)

Even in Iran, “Jesus, The Spirit of God” had a low-key reception, playing to moderate audiences in five Tehran cinemas during the holy month of Ramadan, in October. The film, funded by state broadcasting, faded off the billboards but is far from dead, about to be recycled in a major 20 episode spin-off to be broadcast over state-run national television this year.

Talebzadeh insists it aims to bridge differences between Christianity and Islam (this means that he wants to use it to convert Christians into Islam, not a difficult task since lots of white new age emergent and black nationalist Christians are just about there already) despite the stark divergence from Christian doctrine about Christ’s final hours on earth. (Please note that Rick Warren is hindered by these details, see this link about how Warren and many emergent church leaders are working to “unite” Muslims and Christians just like TBN by practicing capitulation rather than evangelism.)

“It is fascinating for Christians to know that Islam gives such devotion to and has so much knowledge about Jesus,” Talebzadehtold AFP. (TBN liar Jeremiah Cummings, who claims that Muslims can go to heaven by following what the Koran says about Him and do not need to bother with the Bible because they will be killed for possessing it in Muslim countries, has told us this already. Good thing that the early church did not listen to people like Cummings.)

“By making this film I wanted to make a bridge between Christianity and Islam, to open the door for dialogue since there is much common ground between Islam and Christianity,” he said. The director is also keen to emphasise the links between Jesus and one of the most important figures in Shiite Islam, the Imam Mahdi, said to have disappeared 12 centuries ago but whose “return” to earth has been a key tenet of the Ahmadinejad presidency.

Talebzadeh made his name making documentaries about Iran’s 1980-1988 war against Iraq, an important genre in the country’s post-revolutionary cinema. But
such weighty themes, and his latest film on Jesus, compete with domestic gangster thrillers and sugary boy-meets-girl love stories, the movies that continue to draw the biggest audiences in the Islamic Republic.

The bulk of “Jesus, the Spirit of God”, which won an award at the 2007 Religion Today Film Festival in Italy, faithfully follows the traditional tale of Jesus as recounted in the New Testament Gospels (which actually makes it more biblical than “The Passion of the Christ, which was 80% Roman Catholic tradition and the false visions of Roman Catholic mystic nun Katherine Emmerich that, typical of Roman Catholicism, opposes the Bible), a narrative reproduced in the Koran and accepted by Muslims.

But in Talebzadeh’s movie, God saves Jesus, depicted as a fair-complexioned
man
(the Mormon’s Quetzalcoatl Jesus as opposed to the actual Jewish Jesus … see Mormons and Muslims United Oh My What A Surprise) with long hair and a beard, from crucifixion and takes him straight to heaven. “It is frankly said in the Koran that the person who was crucified was not Jesus” but Judas, one of the 12 Apostles and the one the Bible holds betrayed Jesus to the Romans, he said. (Yes, and we Christians are supposed to just toss aside our Bible for the Koran. Then again, he probably knows that Christians do have a long proud history of discarding the Bible and is wondering why Christians are being so hypocritically selective in this matter.) In his film, it is Judas who is crucified.

Islam sees Jesus as one of five great prophets — others being Noah, Moses and Abraham — sent to earth to announce the coming of Mohammed, the final prophet who spread the
religion of Islam. It respects Jesus’ followers as “people of the book”. Iran has tens of thousands of its own Christians who are guaranteed religious freedoms under the constitution — mainly Armenians, though their numbers have fallen sharply since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. (Oh gee, I wonder why.)

Every Christmas, Ahmadinejad and other officials lose no time in sending greetings to Christian leaders including the pope on what they describe as the “auspicious birthday of Jesus Christ, Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH).” (First of all, please note that Islam has no problem celebrating Christmas. Neither do a great many Jews, for that matter. It is THE RESURRECTION that gives them problems: see Acts 4. It is THE RESURRECTION that proved Jesus Christ’s deity. Please note that the original ending of “The Passion Of The Christ” did not mention the resurrection; it was added later after Mel Gibson consulted with PROTESTANTS. According to Mormon doctrine, Islam should be accepted as another Christian denomination incidentally.) In this year’s message, Ahmadinejad said that “peace, friendship and justice will be attained wherever the guidelines of Jesus Christ (PBUH) are realised in the world.” (Jesus Christ said that He came not to bring peace but a sword. But hey, now we see why Christian liberals would rather have dinner with the Taliban than with Will Metzger.)

Shiite Muslims, the majority in Iran, believe Jesus will accompany the Imam Mahdi when he reappears in a future apocalypse to save the world. And Talebzadeh said the TV
version of his film will further explore the links between Jesus and the Mahdi — whose return Ahmadinejad has said his government, which came to power in 2005, is working to hasten. (Their version is no less Biblical than Mary the eternal virgin or than Christian liberal process theology.)

Shiites believe the Mahdi’s reappearance will usher in a new era of peace and harmony. (In no small part because all non – Muslims will be dead. In fairness, Christians believe the same. It is also fair to point out that certain dispensational apocalyptic evangelicals like Pat Robertson, John Hagee, and “gates of hell” insane MIKE HUCKABEE are no different from the Iranian president in that they are trying to pave the way for the return of their Jesus by causing all sorts of violence and strife in the world.)

“We Muslims pray for the ‘Return’ (of Imam Mahdi) and Jesus is part of the return and the end of time,” Talebzadeh said. “Should we, as artists, stand idle until that time? Don’t we have to make an effort?” (The same rationale for Council On Foreign Relations Sun Myung Moon dirty money flowing through his pockets Tim LaHaye’s writing “Left Behind”, which like “The Passion Of The Christ” probably conforms even less to what is actually in the Bible than this Muslim Jesus movie.)

The Purpose Driven Campaign: Mike Huckabee Shows His True Colors By Apologizing To Mormon Mitt Romney

Posted by Job on December 13, 2007

msnbc.msn.com/id/22239946/

Make no mistake, by apologizing to Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee chose political ambition over the true gospel of Jesus Christ. People, there is nothing to apologize for here. First of all, Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is a creature, a created being. Now the Mormon religion of Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and similar specifically sought to distinguish themselves from Christianity, to the point of calling us “apostates” and “Gentiles.” Their modern goal, however, is to get Mormonism to be regarded “a Christian denomination” so that people will view going from Mormonism to Christianity as being no different from going to Presbyterianism to Lutheranism or Methodism to Baptism. So they do not make it publicly known that Mormonism holds Jesus Christ to be a creature. Instead, they tell you that they regard Jesus Christ as the son of God, and leave it at that. Of course, their hope is that the person who hears that will do so according to the assumptions inherent in Christianity, and presume that Mormons believe the same thing that we do. They do not. Christians know that Jesus Christ is uncreated but rather has always existed as part of the Triune Godhead, the same as the Father and equal to the Father. Mormons claim that God created Jesus Christ just as He created bugs and rocks. Further, consider the fact that Christianity knows that God and Jesus Christ are of the same essence or substance. This cannot be according to Mormonism, for the Mormon god does not truly “create”, call things into existence out of nothing, but rather reorganizes matter that already exists. So while it is incorrect to say that the Mormon Jesus was created by nebular space dust, he cannot be of the same essence or substance as the Father, cannot be equal to the Father, and cannot in any sense be deity. And this leaves alone the fact that Mormonism holds that God the Father Himself was a man who progressed to godhood.

So is the notion that Jesus Christ and Satan are spirit brothers offensive to Mormons and should not be said? Well consider this: the notion was not first said by Christians! Rather, it was first said by Mormons themselves! This is where such comments can be found:

This is far from a comprehensive list, but rather what appears on a single web page, which also contains the relevant quotes from those passages that I did not include for space purposes. Of course, Mormons will say that they are taken apart from context, and that is not entirely unfair. But that ignores the fact that 1. the false teaching exists to be taken apart from context to begin with and 2. their attempts to place it into proper context generally consists of little more than attempting to demonstrate that their doctrine is justified in the Bible. The primary purpose of their claim that their teachings are misunderstood and taken out of context is to avoid having to admit their doctrine that Jesus Christ is a mere creature and it is further extremely unlikely that Christians would have said such a thing – for it is one thing to be a creature but quite another to be Satan’s brother – had Mormons themselves not first said so.

Mitt Romney knows this. That is why the speech of his that is being given so much praise by the religious right apostates specifically called Jesus Christ the Son of God but went no further, with Romney dishonestly claiming that saying any more violates the spirit of Article 6 of the Constitution. Well why even say that Jesus Christ is the Son of God since Jews, Muslims, and even liberal Christians in the tradition of Martin Luther King, Jr. who believe that Jesus Christ was just an ordinary man cannot say the same? Simple: Romney does not so much fear “anti – Mormon bigotry” as he is insistent upon making acceptance of Mormonism and his candidacy a package deal.

Is Romney overtly evangelizing in the sense that he is passing out Mormon tracts at campaign events? No. But by establishing terms where it is inappropriate to talk about the differences between Mormons and Christians by exploiting not so much as Article 6 but the concept of “civil public religion” that was created in the early days of this country so that there could be cooperation between Unitarians, deists, freemasons, Enlightenment agnostics, and Christians and was recreated under the banner of “the religious right” to unite Catholics, Jews, and evangelical Christians, Romney is trying to get Mormonism included within the religious political mainstream. Please realize that this religio – political mainstream was never formed to promote spiritual aims – for the groups have disparate spiritual beliefs and agendas – but rather for secular ones. In other words, the civil religion of our founding fathers and of the modern religious right is in fact no less than the very secular humanism that these people hypocritically claim to oppose, and the hypocrisy is no less than Mitt Romney taking the position that his own Article 6 views should not apply to an atheist.

What Romney and his allies are doing is using politics to advance the evil notion that a false religion is just as good as Christianity so long as “you have the right values.” Basically, it is a values based – or should I say works based – universal common religion. In that respect, it is no different from the religious left! For an example, let us turn to the center of the Roman Catholic – Jewish – evangelical neoconservative universalism, the National Review, specifically comments from their “The Corner” weblog.

Mormonism & “Weirdness” [Mike Potemra]

Thanks to all the readers who passed along their kind words in response to my post about Mormons. To the readers, on the other hand, who have written me about how I should be worried about the (in the words of one) “extremely strange” and “Scientology-level strange” beliefs of Mormons, here’s my response: In my own faith, we believe that the cause of all evil was a single mistake by human beings many millennia ago—but that the situation was set right . . . because we murdered an innocent man 2,000 years ago. Therefore: I’m not about to throw stones about beliefs that sound weird to people who don’t share them. (First of all, Christians do not oppose Mormonism because it is “weird” but because it is WRONG. And if you are unwilling to throw stones, then it is only because you believe Christianity to be a glass house. Therefore, you are not a believer.)

Michael Novak and Mormonism [Mike Potemra]

I want to second something Michael Novak said. In my decades’ worth of meeting people from many different religious backgrounds, I have found that in every faith tradition-Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, what have you-there is roughly the same proportion of nice people and jerks. To this rule there is one conspicuous exception: Mormons. I have yet to meet a single Mormon who has been a jerk-and I have met many LDS believers. As someone who grew up in Rudy Giuliani’s faith, and is now somewhere between Mike Huckabee’s and John McCain’s, I find Mitt Romney’s religious background a factor that makes me more, rather than less, likely to vote for him. (Of course, this means that Potemra is not black, so the Mormon teaching that blacks are the cursed seed of Ham means nothing to him. Potemra also has not administered a weblog which calls Mormonism a false religion that will fill you full of demons and send you to the lake of fire for an eternity, because if he did he would CERTAINLY encounter a multitude of Mormons that are not nearly so nice. Even were what he said true … so what? Where in the Bible does it say that “nice people” are going to heaven? Was Jesus Christ being “nice” when He drove the thieves from the temple and told the Pharisees that invited Him to their house as a dinner guest that they were going to the lake of fire?)

That is just a few. Basically, read the National Review and you will encounter Catholics who see little difference between Mormons, Jews, and Protestant Christians, evangelicals who see little difference between Mormons, Jews, and Catholics, and Jews who have Catholics, Protestant Christians, and Mormons all in the same boat. The same is true of the Weekly Standard, Human Events, Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, etc. Why? Because it is a secular movement and not a religious one, and Romney’s agenda is to get Mormons a seat at this secularist table that exploits religious organizations to pursue their secular goals.

And why not? Mormons outnumber Jews numerically, and to be quite honest the GOP party machinery would much rather keep evangelicals within the same position as the Democrats have blacks: seen on election day and given token representation in response, but nothing in terms of actual power or setting an agenda. And that is why these people have the sharp knives out for Huckabee for being a fiscal moderate but are just fine with Rudy Giuliani for being to the left of most Democrats on social issues. The concessions that Romney and Giuliani had to make to govern with Democrats are just fine, but Huckabee is held to some mythic Barry Goldwater standard (hypocritically of course, because the Barry Goldwater in this race, Ron Paul, they hate him too!).

Why? Because rank and file evangelicals are motivated by religion, and not some vision of the way things ought to be based on their secular views, and the GOP does not want anyone representing them to gain real power. The truth is that the GOP has the same view of evangelicals as the left does: fanatics seeking to make the United States a Christian Taliban regime. They just will not admit it because they need evangelicals to retain power so that they can implement their secular ideas. In that respect, they are no different from Democrats, who in case you have noticed is in no hurry to actually be governed by blacks.

So how does getting involved with this den of liars and thieves advance Mormonism? Simple. If Mormonism is included within our “conservative secular religion”, as we well know what is considered acceptable in the secular realm will also be considered acceptable in mainstream Christianity. So just as conversions from evangelical Christianity into Roman Catholicism, once unthinkable, has become not only commonplace but even trendy thanks to the religious right (and see how one of the first prominent religious right leaders to do so, Richard Neuhaus, all but claims Mormonism to be no different from Protestant Christianity here http://www.irr.org/mit/Neuhaus.html with “The history of Christianity, notably since the sixteenth-century Reformation, is littered with prophets and seers who have reestablished “the true church,” usually in opposition to the allegedly false church of Rome, and then, later, in opposition to their own previously true churches” and many similar statements). And now you have Christianity Today, the most prominent evangelical Christian publication, taking seriously the claim that evangelicals should abandon sola scriptura – scripture alone – and accept manmade tradition in order to accommodate and facilitate the growing intermingling between evangelicals and Catholics. Of course, there is no real difference between accepting the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and the tradition of Joseph Smith. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. See Why So Many Prominent Catholics Are Supporting Romney and Bob Novak Joins Catholic Chorus Lying For Mormon Mitt Romney for an example of what I speak.

Truthfully, it is happening already. Here are the comments of evangelical Christian John Schroeder about why Christians should not oppose the teachings that Jesus Christ and Satan are brothers: “Let’s see, we creedal Christians (the new name for Christians for Mormons as calling us apostates and Gentiles is now too strident I guess) believe Satan is a fallen angel; therefore created by God. Save for the by now widely known and completely irrelevant to politics differences in views of the Godhead – Where’s the beef?” here. He is not the only one. Some religious right leaders are actually going about claiming that Mormonism is fully compatible with the Bible, and that the differences are only interpretations, depictions, semantics, etc.

Now Huckabee Hound could expose this whole racket. But he apologizes for telling the truth even in the most timid of fashions! By doing so, Huckabee furthers the precedent that Christians cannot speak the truth outside of a church setting (and even now, the religious right sharks are digging through his old sermons to find information to embarrass him) by retreating from it. Now is this about respecting the beliefs of Mormons? Of course it is, and Christians should have no respect for a lie. Having respect for a lie is akin to either declaring agnosticism on the lie being true or pretending that all liars will have any other fate than the lake of fire. And it has nothing to do with disrespecting Mormons themselves. Disrespecting anyone, Mormons included, is a sin because we are all created in the image of God.

Take the person that claims that 1 + 1 = 3. Should we respect that man? Of course, for he is made in the image of God. Should we respect that man’s belief that 1 + 1 = 3? Of course not, for we know that it is a lie! And do not think that believing that 1 + 1 = 3 (and all of the negative assumptions and deductions that would follow from it) is a trivial matter. Would you hire such a person as an engineer to design dams and bridges? As a pharmacist to fill prescriptions? Of course not! Suffering such a person in that matter will result in the natural deaths of innocent people. So how much less should we have respect for a false religion that will result in people being cast into the lake of fire for eternity?

Now it does turn out that Mormons do not believe the same about Christians, believing that Christians who do good works will receive positive accommodations by God in the afterlife (by the way, this was not the original teaching of Joseph Smith, a fact which many Mormons are unaware of) and get highly offended when they hear of Christians consigning them to the lake of fire. But why should we have any more respect to the offense given to Mormons on this matter than anyone else? And if we are not willing to offend with the gospel, then we have no gospel.

Again, Huckabee knows this. Huckabee did not apologize on the account of Mormons, from whom he knows he will receive precious few votes. Huckabee apologized to curry favor with those who believe “if this is what Huckabee believes about Mormons, then he believes the same about me … that I am going to the lake of fire too, and I am offended by that!” Huckabee’s apology was not for the benefits of Mormons that reject Jesus Christ, but non – Mormons who do, and that includes not a few professed Christians that are politically conservative but practice a modern humanistic faith that either does not condemn anyone with “good values” to the lake of fire or does not force them to be confronted with the reality of the horror that actual living, breathing people that they see every day are going to receive this most horrible fate. And yes, he also apologized for the benefit of legitimate evangelical Christians that are hesitant to vote for anyone “divisive” and “controversial” and were attracted to Huckabee precisely because of his populist positive campaign (a formula that he learned from Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven apostate movement: Why The Media Likes Mike Huckabee So Much: He Is A Rick Warren Worker!). If Huckabee used the Warren method to grow a tiny Arkansas church to a 10,000 person megachurch, then getting Christian voters to choose him over Rudy Giuliani is no small accomplishment. The problem is that he is getting evangelicals to vote for him for the same theologically thin, suspect, and compromised reasons that he, Warren, and other Purpose Driven/emergent types get people to join their churches in the first place.

And the Rick Warren piece is key here. While Huckabee is using electoral politics to recruit conservative evangelicals through presidential process, Rick Warren is going after liberals and those in other religions. First of all, note his relationship with – gasp! – MORMONS!

Rick Warren ‘Works With’ and ‘Strengthens’ Mormon Churches and Other Non-Christian Sects

Second, see how Warren is going after Muslims: ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY: THE DEITY OF CHRIST and also Rick Warren Universalist Apostasy Meeting Details Here!

The “Islam and Christianity” link above reminds me of how TBN is using Jeremiah Cummings as well as the oneness preachers like T. D. Jakes, Noel Jones, Juanita Bynum, and Tommy Tenney to court Islam: TBN: REPAINTING ISLAM and
Trinity Broadcasting Network Tries To Merge Islam And Christianity!. And yes, TBN has made overtures to Mormons before: Mormons, Muslims, Oneness Pentecostals, And TBN, OH MY!

These all cannot be coincidences people. There is too much going on here with groups like the Center For National Policy (a Sun Myung Moon shadow group, see Want A List Of Pastors Who Took Sun Myung Moon’s Money?) and the Council on Foreign Relations (who counts Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, Newt Gingrich, Oprah Winfrey, T. D. Jakes, and RICK WARREN among is members and the Center for National Policy as one of its umbrella groups in the United States) for it to be. It is called the great apostasy people, the falling away of 2 Thessalonians 2:3!

By apologizing to a man whose beliefs that he knows are false for the “crime” of doing the world a favor and letting them know that they are false, Mike Huckabee shows that he is part of it. For Huckabee is after power, influence, and the things and cares of this world. James 4:4 says this about people like Huckabee Hound: “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” I suppose that Huckabee and those like him would have been highly offended at James for calling him a spiritual adulterer and an enemy of God, but I can guarantee you that James would never have apologized for it.

Ties Between Mike Huckabee And John Hagee Discovered! (He Also Has Ties To Kenneth Copeland, Tim LaHaye, And Rick Warren)

Posted by Job on December 6, 2007

It is getting harder and harder to avoid applying the “how can two walk together unless they be agreed”of Amos 3:3 to Mike Huckabee. I have already given you the ties between Huckabee and Kenneth Copeland: Mike Huckabee Defends Kenneth Copeland!, as well as those between Huckabee and Rick Warren: Why The Media Likes Mike Huckabee So Much: He Is A Rick Warren Worker!. Well, now here comes news that Tim LaHaye of the false doctrine Left Behind novels (I am not calling it false doctrine because of the pretribulation stance but rather because of many other things see More “Left Behind” False Doctrine Exposed, Should Christians Commit Murder For “The Cause”? and False Doctrine In “Left Behind”: The Remnant Teaches Against the Doctrine of the God-Sent Strong Delusion) as well as a “Christian marital sexuality” book that is just as perverse as the teachings of Juanita Bynum and Thomas Weeks III (like them he takes the false position that it is OK to defile someone with ungodly sexual activity so long as that person is your spouse). Well, LaHaye just endorsed Huckabee.

Now Tim LaHaye with his books and movies promotes the flavor of pretribulation dispensationalism that is heavily contributed to the creation of precisely the “attack Iran to protect Israel” Christian Zionism political worldview that has allowed John Hagee to exploit it and become a political player. (LaHaye is also himself a leading figure of the religious right through the Council For National Policy, a group heavily indebted to cult leader Sun Myung Moon behind the scenes … see Want A List Of Pastors Who Took Sun Myung Moon’s Money?, and a Christian Zionist in his own right.)

Well, the Christian brother at Pro Libertate has discovered a longtime connection between Hagee’s people and Huckabee.

Quoting him: “Late last Summer, a cover story in Strang’s New Man magazine anointed Huckabee as the heir apparent to George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. In recent weeks, Huckabee has tapped Strang to serve on his “Faith and Values Coalition,” which is intended to attract money from, and consolidate support within, the Christian Right. Strang served a similar role in the early days of Bush the Lesser’s first presidential campaign. Strang is also a regional director of Hagee’s Christians United for Israel, a pressure group that describes itself – without a detectable hint of irony – as a “Christian AIPAC,” as if one such organization weren’t a sufficient burden and blight upon our land .. Stephen Strang is the human vinculum between Huckabee and Hagee. Strang, a long-time friend and business associate of Hagee, presides over a Pentecostal publishing empire; among Strang’s imprints is Front Line books, which has published several of Hagee’s books, including his latest, In Defense of Israel.” Now this “In Defense of Israel” is the same one where Hagee denies that Jesus Christ is the Messiah! See John Hagee Claims That Jesus Christ Was Not The Messiah, More On John Hagee Jesus Did Not Come To Be The Messiah Apostasy Book, and Can We Do Anything To Speed The Return Of Jesus Christ? Why I Say NO!

And this goes back to Amos 3:3. See how these people who agree walk together? It is no coincidence, but rather because they are dealing with the same evil spirits: a lust for power and wealth that causes them to come together in like mind and united purpose because they have given themselves over to them. Folks, this is serious business, and it is for God’s people, not those who have sold out to the world and believe that the kingdom of God can be advanced through its ways rather than by what Jesus Christ did on the cross and the workings of the Holy Spirit through the church. These religious right folks are honestly trying to re – establish Constantine’s imperial Roman state church in America with its “state theology of Eusebius” as its doctrine, which actually makes them a bigger threat than the religious left!

Christians, what will happen will happen. God is in ultimate control, and things like who will be made leaders of nations are all part of His plan of bringing history to its conclusion and the return of His Son Jesus Christ, who Himself does not know the day or hour that said event will happen. So do not fret because of these things … they were prophesied long ago in Matthew 24, Revelation, Daniel, and similar. Our tasks are 1.) to persevere until the end and 2.) not allow the wicked state of the world to cause us to reject 1.) by joining and supporting these anti – Christ movements. All you have to do is look at how “Christian broadcasting” and the “Christian media” have worked together to create a class of celebrities with a lot of money, power, and influence that are capable of pulling such a thing off: again consider the influence of things like Paul Crouch’s TBN empire, Rod Parsley’s get out the vote efforts being credited for George W. Bush carrying Ohio (Parsley originally attached himself to Roman Catholic Rick Santorum), and now this. Please know that in the very near future, these people are going to have more influence still.

How? Well so far the religious right has been thus that: a movement of white conservative evangelical Christians. But now they are expanding. First Barack HUSSEIN Obama then Hillary Clinton spoke at Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church under the auspices of “we must all come together to combat AIDS”. Please recall that Pat Robertson’s CBN endorsed Warren’s invitation to Obama, and the invite to Clinton has been met with silence from the evangelical leadership that has been unwilling to stand up to either Rick Warren or the emergent church (see Abrahamic Faith Continues The Battle Against Rick Warren Purpose Driven Apostasy In Southern Baptist Convention). Another thing about Huckabee … he is bragging about how he received 48% of the black vote in Arkansas. Come on, the man is a very gifted Baptist preacher with a moderate populist economic message, so what prevents this guy from going into virtually any black church and bringing down the house, especially with Barack Obama offending some of the more conservative black Christian Democrats with his support for abortion and gay rights (see Pastors: Keep Obama Balaam out of your pulpit!)?

See Christians, Satan does not care about your race or religious affiliation, he just wants to see your soul receive the same fate as he. Do not let the false promises of religion and politics be the tool that he uses to lead you astray. Christians, if Mike Huckabee is the next president or vice president of the United States (I still thinking that a Giuliani – Huckabee ticket is more likely … please recall that Pat Robertson endorsed the former Is The Pat Robertson Endorsement Of Rudy Giuliani An Attempt To Freeze Out Ron Paul?), let it happen without your help. Please recall that this has been my position on moneychanger Mormon Mitt Romney from day one (see why I call him a moneychanger here: because it is true! The Unsaved Have More Discernment Over Mitt Romney Than The Religious Right), and it applies to Mike Huckabee as well.

And in the event that an endorsement from James Dobson makes you think that it is OK to trust Huckabee, please see this: Warren, Robertson, Dobson, Other Evangelical Leaders Were Recruited For Globalist Agendas. And lest some of you are tempted to write me off as some crank complainer who offers no solutions, let me say this: Jesus Christ is our solution. He always has been and always will be. Our losing sight of that fact and trying to go after worldly solutions (after “Christianizing” them first) is the root of so many of our evils.

Is The New Evangelicalism Any Worse Than The Old?

Posted by Job on December 3, 2007

The New Evangelicalism By Jan Markell www.olivetreeviews.org

When I first filtered into an evangelical church at the age of 14, defining the term “evangelical” was simple, even for a kid my age. Without having to be told, I concluded evangelicals preached a solid gospel, emphasized evangelism and missions, majored in soul-winning and minored in social issues, abstained from some worldly values, were faithful in church attendance, Bible reading, and generally had a biblical worldview. I was never ashamed of the old definition of “evangelicalism.”

Those churches are still around, but something has happened in the last twenty years. New leaders are rising and some do NOT preach a solid gospel yet are called evangelicals. (Did your movement preach a solid gospel?) To me, this says today no one is really sure what “evangelicalism” means. (That is because when your folks were in control of the movement, you never defined it by your own example as it was never an attempt to practice the New Testament faith. Instead, the movement was desired to be a “third way” between the the liberal mainline denominationals and the “conservative” fundamentalists, some of whom you were more disdainful and ashamed of than not only the liberal mainline denominationals but even people who were not Christians at all.) When those leaning left such as Tony Campolo and Jim Wallis are called evangelicals, I can tell we have a new day. (So we were much better off with the evangelical movement being led by conservatives like Mike Huckabee, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, Ted Haggard, Ralph Reed, Bill Bennett, and Pat Robertson.) When “Emergent Church” leaders such as Brian McClaren, Rob Bell, and Erwin McManus are called evangelicals, something is a-miss. This is just blatant false labeling. (No, it is appropriation of a label that was false to begin with.)

“The New York Times” states, “A tug of war is unfolding behind the scenes over theology –should evangelicalism be a big tent open to divergent views, or a smaller movement with more pure theology?” (I prefer the unstated option #3, which is first trying to make an honest attempt to discern what the Bible is saying to us, and then making an honest attempt at doing it. Is there any evidence that this was ever the primary purpose of the movement popularized by the universalist populist Billy Graham?)

Theology isn’t the only issue. Some of today’s so-called evangelicals are into global warming, immigration issues, anti-war movements, and other causes that were once found only in churches a part of the World and National Council of Churches. (So … churches are not supposed to oppose unjust wars and illegal immigration?) They are involved in ridding the world of AIDS, which is an impossibility but a noble cause, but is it the cause of evangelicals? (This is dishonest. Virtually no one is trying to rid the world of a disease for which there is no vaccine or cure. They are merely trying to prevent the spread of the disease and treat people that have it. The fact that she is hostile to the church doing something about AIDS makes me wonder if she has a cultural bias against the people that disproportionately have it. Well, the lepers faced cultural bias in the time of Jesus Christ too, and Christ healed them.) Or is it just the old social gospel from which evangelicals fled in the 1940s so a few denominations could focus almost exclusively on soul-winning and Bible teaching? (Fleeing the social gospel? Yes. But founding your church based on a selfish hard – hearted partial gospel that ignores people’s human needs and is harsh towards sinners? That is not what Jesus Christ and His apostles preached or practiced, but quite the opposite: they condemned it. Read the book of James: faith without works is dead.)

Now the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) has a new leader and he hails from my hometown, Minneapolis, MN. (That people did not leave the NAE when the truth was found out about some of its leaders like Ted Haggard and James Dobson, and so many of its leaders are members of the Council on Foreign Relations and take money from Sun Myung Moon … well that is your own fault.) He states that issues to be addressed by the NAE include human rights, creation care, justice and compassion for the poor, torture, and seeking peace in the world. Isn’t this the organization that should be reminding the world that it is racing towards judgment and there may not be a lot of time to repent? It sounds like making the world a better place to live is the new “great commission.”
(No, we should be doing what Jesus Christ and His apostles told us to do in the New Testament. If certain people are erroring by wanting to do more, your error is worse because you want to do less.)

I am very uneasy when “evangelicals” remind me of social gospel leftists and when sound theology is replaced by feelings and experience. (So what, you were feeling “easy” before? You were in your little comfort zone before? Well, when I read the New Testament, what I see is that the gospel is supposed to make you uneasy, to take you out of your comfort zone, to cause you to do things that you would not ordinarily do. The rich young ruler was made uneasy by the gospel too. Herod was made uneasy by the preaching of John. I really am not seeing much of a difference between erring on the right side or erring on the left.) Or when once-sound theologians applaud the new “Christian mysticism” and rally around “unity.” (And who are these once – sound theologians? Billy Graham? Robert Schuller? A lot of these guys have ALWAYS had problems. The only thing that is going on now is that they have crossed some little cultural line in our minds that have forced us to confront it. Like all the Christians who abandoned Ted Haggard for being homosexual when he had so many other problems.) When church-growth methods take center stage and a church has to have a “marketing approach.” I thought God was the “Marketer-in-Chief” of all churches and ministries. (Sorry, that is the Reformed/Calvinist/fundamentalist predestination/election Christianity that the free will evangelical movement has made a point of rejecting in order to curry a measure of favor with the world as being “moderate”, “reasonable”, and “more compassionate. Even when I was free will evangelical, I couldn’t stand how we were so quick to sell out our more theologically conservative brethren for the respect of the God – haters.) He causes or hinders growth and the spiritual maturity of the body matters far more than growth in numbers.

Old fashioned evangelicalism is on life-support and has been snatched in what the Bible calls an “end-time falling away” (II Thess. 2). I see a new “slippery slope” and enormous compromise, and I will not remain silent. Yet the Lord loves His church. He has not forsaken it. (Again, if this woman’s comments are representative of old – fashioned evangelicalism mindset, then its adherents may not be as bad as Rick Warren or the emergents in a doctrinal,.worship, or personal behavior sense, but it is still not the full gospel that was once given to the saints. And if your spirit does not burn for the teachings that was given in the New Testament, should you examine yourself to be in the faith? How many of you have visited a person in prison, for instance? Or encouraged and prayed for an AIDS or cancer patient? I admit … I have never done such a thing, and that I need to. But quite frankly, people who claim to be in love with that old time religion while exhibiting no desire to do these things or pretending that they are mere side issues scare me. What is the point of taking such pride in believing that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, and the final authority if you are not out there doing what the Bible says?)

Why The Media Likes Mike Huckabee So Much: He Is A Rick Warren Worker!

Posted by Job on July 13, 2007

Now IndependentConservative tried to warn me against supporting Mike Huckabee, but I didn’t listen! As it was, I replaced Huckabee with Ron Paul as the guy that I was supporting for now, because I saw no evidence that Huckabee would really take on our leviathan government (and plenty of evidence that Huckabee would continue the corporate welfare – social program – state financing of the church agenda that is supported not only by the religious right, but also the religious left … remember Bill Clinton started funding “midnight basketball”, “gun buybacks” – and if I am correct condom and drug needle giveaways – at churches as part of his “moderate agenda”, and Clinton also was a supporter of and signed the first faith – based programs bill as well). So once I saw that the state would grow and assert more power over the church under Huckabee, I pretty much stopped backing him, and was basically using him to show the hypocrisy of the Christian right for wanting to back people like Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, etc. instead of a former minister. Well, that criticism is still correct, but according to an excellent comment by James Sundquist, who appears to represent a most excellent http://www.abrahamic-faith.com site, Huckabee is one of the growing numbers of Southern Baptists that have fallen for the Rick Warren scam (that denominaton is now facing an even bigger threat … the emergent church). I was wondering why the media was so complimentary of Huckabee. Please recall that they spent the 1990s claiming that the Southern Baptist Convention was one of the biggest internal threats that this country was facing. I was shocked that they were going around claiming that the evolution – denying “Jesus Christ is the only way” Baptist preacher from Arkansas was “winning the debates hands down” and giving him so much praise when in every other context fundamentalist and evangelical Christianity is portrayed as a great evil threat to the future of our nation and world peace itself. Well this explains it! Rick Warren is a Council On Foreign Relations member, whose goal is to create a global society free of distinctions and divisions created by race, class, politics, nationality, and RELIGION. It was clear that George Bush was one of these guys (like like his father and Bill Clinton) when he professed that Islam was “a religion of peace” and claimed that the Muslim moon cult god is the same as the Christian God. Warren is clearly part of this same agenda by promoting the trend where churches stop dealing with things that might offend sinners (such as the Bible or the message of the cross or repentance of sin and living holy) and replace it with psychology. That way, Jesus Christ goes from being God to a moral teacher, and it becomes far easier for the masses to accept it (and it does not even require them abandoning their prior religions). Since Warren is a Council on Foreign Relations guy, if Huckabee is a Warren guy then Huckabee is a CFR guy too. Which of course means that I have now gone from “kinda sorta” supporting Huckabee to adding him to my list of people like McCain, Giuliani, and Romney (and of course all Democrats in the race) that I am actively opposing. I should have known something was up when a very liberal MSNBC/Newsweek writer recommended Huckabee for the very vital Health and Human Services cabinent post (which would be the leading dispenser of “faith – based” state funds to churches)! Here are James Sundquist’s statement on the EXTENSIVE Warren – Huckabee ties, and please note that the CFR media (i.e. Time Magazine) is aware of them:

“Our church in Little Rock is very similar to Rick Warren’s. We’ve gone from 25 members to about 5,000 in eight years. Our focus has been to minister to people who were otherwise neglected. We built a ministry center before we even had a sanctuary. We held our services in warehouses until a year or two ago.” The center contains a range of faith-based initiatives: welfare to work, job training, programs for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, a food bank. “We are a multicultural, multiracial congregation, with rich and poor,” Huckabee says. “I play the bass in the Praise band.” SOURCE: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1599708,00.html

It is a lot like Rick Warren’s church all right. Here is his church’s website:

http://www.churchatrockcreek.org/

which promotes Warren’s Celebrate Recovery, won Warren’s Church Health Award:

“Since 1999, Purpose-Driven ministries have honored four to six churches each year that have shown excellence in adapting the Purpose-Driven paradigm to their congregation. With thousands of churches having participated in the “40 Days of Purpose” discipleship program in recent months, Purpose-Driven decided to honor 79 churches this year. Each church received a check for $1,000.

The Southern Baptist congregations receiving a 2004 Church Health Award were:

Bay Area Fellowship, Corpus Christi, Texas

Brookwood Community Church, Greenville, S.C.

Centro Familiar Cristiano Betesda, Orange, Calif.

The Church at Rock Creek, Little Rock, Ark.”
SOURCE:
http://www.baptistpress.net/bpnews.asp?ID=18346
(Pastor Bob DeWaay wrote a brilliant expose on this Purpose-Driven Church Health Awards in his book on Rick Warren)

And here is a quote from Huckabee’s teaching pastor Greg Kirskey’s sermon entitled Fire Extinguisher…available on the church website:

“No human emotion poses a greater threat to our health and happiness than fear.”
And this is posted by Huckabee’s Senior Pastor Mark Evans:

” Mark Evans is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Church at Rock Creek. Understanding that many people don’t go to church because it is boring and irrelevant, Mark began Rock Creek in 1995. Believing that people really do matter to God, Rock Creek has grown from 25 people to over 5,000 attending the weekend services. Rock Creek was featured in Church Growth magazine’s list of “The 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America.”

The community-focused ministries at Rock Creek – a hands on computer lab, an employment training agency, a food bank, and a car repair ministry – led President Bush to select The Church at Rock Creek as the backdrop for a discussion about the role faith-based organizations play in changing the landscape of America.
And of course, RIck Warren’s PEACE Plan and Discovery Classes:

DISCOVER YOUR MISSION

The Hall of Fame Class is the fourth class in Rock Creek’s Life Development Process. In this class you will learn how to connect other people to God by using your story of how He has worked in your life. You will also be introduced to the P.E.A.C.E. Plan, a radical missions approach that is a key part of how Rock Creek does missions. In addition, we will help you develop and execute your own personal mission statement.

THE P.E.A.C.E. PLAN

Rock Creek does missions through a radical new strategy called the P.E.A.C.E. Plan. Through P.E.A.C.E. your small group will become equipped to address the world’s five global giants: spiritual lostness, corrupt leadership, poverty, disease and lack of education.

The P.E.A.C.E. plan is designed to mobilize ordinary church members to do normal tasks that can change the world. Everyone can participate through personal, local, and global P.E.A.C.E. projects. God can and will use you and our missions team is here to help you get started.

If you are not ready to go overseas, there are personal and local dimensions to this strategy that do not require any travel at all. Rock Creek’s Hall of Fame Class prepares you to live out the P.E.A.C.E. Plan.

And of course Warren’s baseball diamond: http://www.churchatrockcreek.org/lifedevelopment.htm

And like Warren, Huckabee is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Any questions?

Therefore, you have to ask your self, do you want a sold-out Warrenite to be your next President?

I am afraid to even ask him what his position is on Israel!

Blessings,

James Sundquist

The Main Problem With Many Of The Theories On Who The Anti – Christ Is Supposed To Be

Posted by Job on July 5, 2007

Catholics say that it will be a rogue pope. More extreme Protestants say that it is the Roman Catholic Church. Evangelicals say that it will be the European Union or the United Nations. During the Cold War, many were certain that the communists were going to play a huge role in it. Now during the “global war on terror” (which a lot of people seem to forget that the Christian west pretty much started and is DEFINITELY responsible for funding and arming “our enemies” in the first place), Islam has replaced the communists. And it is interesting: thanks to the “ecumenism” movement, a lot of Protestants that would have put the blame on Catholics are trying to cast blame elsewhere, especially to the Muslims or the EU. By the same token, a lot of Catholics that would have figured that the best sign that the pope had turned apostate would have been his making overtures to Protestants are now looking elsewhere. After all, Tim LaHaye had to have the pope raptured in his “Left Behind” novels, or that would have seriously harmed his ability to associate with politically conservative Catholics on the religious right through the Center For National Policy and similar. (Since the Center For National Policy is an arm of the Council on Foreign Relations and similar groups, it is interesting that “Left Behind” kept the focus trained solely on the EU, and not on any of the various groups, some secret and some not so secret, that are either aligned with the Council on Foreign Relations or allied with it … no mention of the Skulls and Crossbones, the Bilderbergs, the Masons, etc. Gee, I wonder why! Almost makes you wonder if a lot of these pretribulationists are being used to run interference for certain people.) It is also curious that where many Christians once accused Jews of playing a key role in the anti – Christ coming to power, the neo – dual covenant theologians of the dispensational evangelical movement have taken precisely the opposite view (motivated by their belief that pursuing self – interested, self – motivated, self – pleasing, and self – serving “relationships” with our friends in the Jewish community is the quickest way to get them to all return to Israel and rebuild the temple so the rapture can happen; of course those same Jews that would speed the departing of the Christians to heaven would be left behind to endure the great tribulation … oh well too bad hey it sucks to be you, you should have accepted Christ while you had the chance … ooops I forgot we listened to John Hagee when he said not to target Jews for conversion because doing that will slow down the process of getting you back into Israel so we can leave you behind there to face the anti-Christ. If that is what “loving your neighbor as yourself” means, I really don’t blame Jews for not wishing to be “loved” in that fashion.)

The main issue is that this “man of sin” is supposed to cause all the people of the world to worship one religion. Claiming that it will be Roman Catholicism will mean that Muslims and Jews will have to become Catholic. (Keep on holding your breath waiting for that to happen.) Similar problems exist with the beast being a Muslim, a communist, a mason, a Mormon, a UN/EU secular humanist, or some leading political figure that you don’t like. While all of these may knowingly or unknowingly (I am believing that it is mostly the latter, though you had better believe that the former exists) play a role in bringing the anti – Christ and his system into reality and power, the beast himself will command universal support: be all things to all people. Meanwhile, any person from the groups listed above (or pretty much any other group) will by definition provoke opposition from a substantial percentage of the population. Of course, global economic, political, medical, environmental, etc. catastrophes could change a lot of that and force a lot of people that would ordinarily be enemies to set aside their differences and work together for survival. Some of that is actually happening already, and one could make the case that the Bible does prophecy such a thing happening. Further, the massive horrors that are supposed to precede the rise of the anti – Christ could wipe out a good percentage of the population, thereby wholesale removing a lot of the people that potentially would have reason to oppose the anti – Christ. You only have to look at how AIDS has dramatically reduced the population of Africa and is now spreading in Asia to see how that could possibly happen. Still, that would leave a lot of huge barriers, the primary one being the one world religion.

So, perhaps what will happen is NOT the anti – Christ causing everyone to cast aside their current religion (including atheists who have no religion at all), but rather create a way for everyone to incorporate his religion into their own beliefs? A way for a person to simultaneously participate in the one world religion while remaining a Catholic, Muslim, Jew, atheist, or Christian (including the many strands of conservative evangelical and fundamentalist)? It is very possible … especially if the said people do such a thing without knowing it, or knowing that they are practicing another religion. They may not even have to bring the world religion “into the church”, that is, incorporate it into their religious practice. Quite the opposite, it may even be expedient if they do not, because a lot of Christians would be loathe to imitate or share in what Muslims are doing, and vice versa, and the same goes for a lot of other groups. The new religion whereby the beast is worshipped COULD be something done outside of the context of that which is generally regarded as religious worship, but nonetheless be something that even the very religiously devout of all religions would not only have no problem doing, but would even desire to do, even if only occasionally. Indeed, all but the very elect, as the Bible says.

Now how elect does one have to be not to follow after some of these things? One does not have to be an elect Catholic to generally avoid Protestantism, or an elect Muslim to stay away from masonry. (That was not a universalistic or ecumenical statement on my part, since I steadfastly reject both; I am just making a general point.) And no, observing the sabbath on Saturday instead of Sunday (when actually according to Jewish tradition it is sundown Friday until sundown Saturday anyway) and refusing to partake in the “Christmas”, “Easter”, or other traditional Christian holidays (in the western or orthodox tradition anyways) does not make you an elect Protestant Christian either (because if it would, it would imply that God would hold such a thing against a Christian on judgment day even if the Christian erred out of ignorance).

Instead, we might have to look in another direction; something whereby everyone in the world can worship Satan while not knowing that they are doing so; something that everyone from a person living in a “remote illiterate primitive tribal culture” to a refined Middle Eastern oil aristocrat to a middle America fundamentalist would theoretically be able to share in. One “easy out”: causing “the whole world” to worship the anti – Christ may not be a reference to each individual, but rather to the leadership of each nation. Keep in mind: it is a pretty consistent biblical principle that the actions of the leaders of a nation were counted to the nation, and that God would punish a whole nation on account of wicked actions by its leaders. (Before you claim that God is unfair in doing this, please realize that holding an entire nation accountable for the evil actions of its rulers in this life is a way of sparing them individual accountability on the day of judgment; destroying the nation on account of its leaders prevents the spiritual evil that is coming from the leaders of the culture from infecting each individual member of it. Therefore, it is actually an action of God’s mercy and saving grace to destroy a nation whose leaders want to turn it into Sodom and Gomorrah before it actually BECOMES Sodom and Gomorrah, because when a nation becomes Sodom and Gomorrah everyone in it is wicked, everyone is individually accountable on the day of judgment for their evil, and none will be saved.) That was why God warned Israel not to pray for a king, and why the results of their getting a king was the nation dividing and ultimately going into captivity because of the wickedness of their kings. Also, since one would have to be a “nation” to actually qualify, remote cultures that have not politically organized themselves into a nation – state or kingdom might for these purposes be excluded, and not be part of “the world”, so to speak, in this respect (another example of God’s saving grace, and also why we should not be so quick to look down upon “third world, primitive, tribal, savage, heathen” peoples and presume ourselves to be better than them because of our wealth, culture, and technology … they might actually be the ones that wind up with the better deal of it!

Another thing to consider: the gospel. The end cannot come until the gospel is preached to all nations, so said Jesus Christ in the gospels. Since we are talking about the “anti – Christ” here … is it possible that the gospel must be preached in a nation before people can choose the anti – Christ by virtue of either A) rejecting the gospel outright or B) accepting it initially only for a great many of them to turn away to a false Christianity? It would be the greatest of ironies if one of the consequences of our spreading the gospel to an unreached land would be the people of that land ultimately falling under the control of the anti – Christ. Or perhaps it would be better to think of it this way: what if the very reason why God wants to use His preachers of the gospel in a certain area is so the people there can hear it and reject it so that God can judge them? Please realize that God used Moses in a similar fashion before pharoah for the purposes of God judging the entire nation of Egypt, thereby glorifying Himself.

In the end, God’s Will alone shall be done, and the result will be God alone being glorified. Remember: it is ultimately not Christianity or even the church that will be glorified and whose righteousness will be vindicated, but Jesus Christ Himself, so that through Jesus Christ the Father alone will be vindicated. Think not that Jesus Christ saving you is in any way evidence of your righteousness or the correctness of your church or movement or of the church itself, but is instead merely proof that God alone is able to do the impossible, which is to save one individually (and the church collectively) from sin and the punishment of sin in the time, place, manner, and reason of His choosing. That, perhaps is the main thing that Christians should keep in mind when considering these endtimes scenarios lest they forget that it is God alone who will save them and as a consequence of their failure to remember God they will also fail to be elect and in that way be led astray, not so much by the man of sin but rather by their own pride of life.

Mitt Romney Show Me Your Magic Mormon Underwear!

Posted by Job on June 22, 2007

Click here www.liveprayer.com/signup.htm to receive these devotionals in your email.

“Mr. Romney, show me your underwear!”  When asked about my recent statement
that ” a vote for Romney is a vote for satan,” Romney through his spokesman
replied, “”It shows that bigotry from time to time can still rear its ugly
head in society.”  The game in 2007 is to label anyone who has the audacity
to bring a Biblical worldview to the issues of the day as “hateful,”
“intolerant,” “a bigot,” or other names to try and discount what they say
and silence them.  Since Mr. Romney wants to try and dismiss me as simply a
“bigot,” I am publicly challenging him today to take off his jacket, open up
his shirt, and let the world see that as a “temple Mormon” and high priest
in this satanic cult he wears under his clothes literally 24/7 the sacred
undergarments of the priesthood given to him in the Temple ritual that bear
the emblems of SATAN’S POWER AND PRIESTHOODS!

(  I was actually able to get a pair of the “magical underwear” as they are
often referred to, and wore them on the Liveprayer TV program Thursday
night, June 21st!  To see that program, go to:
http://www.liveprayer.com/archives.cfm   )

For my new friend Barry Lynn of Americans United for Separation of Church
and State, like my previous message on how “a vote for Romney is a vote for
satan,” this message today has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS, this is about
the eternal souls of men.  I have never told people who to or not to vote
for.  That is not what I do.  While your mission in life is to oppose the
work of God and watch people die and go to hell, my mission is to bring His
Truth to this dark world and lead people to everlasting life though faith in
Jesus Christ.

Mr. Romney, like all members of his satanic cult, is a LIAR!  He goes out on
the campaign trail and talks about his belief in God, Jesus, and the Bible,
and that he is just like any other Christian.  He has calculated that the
theologically ignorant and politically correct secular media will never have
the guts to challenge him on what he refers to as “his faith” or “his
church.”  Just moments before going on with Bill O’Reilly a few weeks ago,
in my earpiece came O’Reilly’s voice telling me that he did NOT want me to
get into the specific beliefs of Mormonism, that “he didn’t want to go
there.” The secular media on one hand really doesn’t care what their
theological beliefs are, and on the other hand, don’t want to be seen as
bashing someone’s “religion.”

Romney has been very clever and calculating in perpetuating the lie that he
is a “Christian” by attracting mainline evangelical figures like Jay Sekulow
and many others to support his candidacy. (My Note: Sekulow works for the organization founded, controlled, and funded by Pat Robertson). Sekulow and any other Christian leader that support Romney should be held accountable by the Christian
community for backing a member of a satanic cult that is leading the souls
of men to hell.  They have sold out the Truth of the Bible and Jesus Christ
just like Judas did for whatever short term political power they may receive
if Romney is elected.  There is NO justification for their endorsement and
support of a man whose influence will attract people to his cult, knowing
those who follow the lies of Mormonism will die and go to hell!

Here are just a few of the theological issues that makes the satanic Mormon
cult totally inconsistent with Biblical Christianity and why a Mormon is no
more a Christian than a Muslim is.  These are the things the lying Mr.
Romney won’t tell you, so I will.  The god of the Mormon cult is NOT the God
of the Bible.  Their “god” is named Elohim and was once a man like you and I
who came from another planet.  Mormon theology teaches that men can
eventually become a god and have their own planet.  Romney, as a member of
this cult, believes that he too will one day become a god.  When he talks
about “god,” he is talking about this fictitious god of Mormonism and NOT
the God of the Bible!

This holds true for Jesus.  The jesus of Mormon theology is not God
incarnate as the Bible teaches.  The Mormon jesus was not supernaturally
conceived by the Holy Ghost, but the natural offspring of their “god” Elohim
who had sex with Mary, meaning he is a created being no different than you
and I. Mormons also teach that their jesus had several wives and children,
again, in compete contradiction to what the Bible teaches.  The jesus of
Romney and the Mormon cult is also the brother of Lucifer and will return
not to the Mt. Of Olives as the Bible teaches, but to Independence, Missouri
to set up his earthly Kingdom.  When Romney talks about “jesus,” he is NOT
talking about the true Jesus of the Bible!

*What Jesus you put your faith in is so critical, since this is why anyone
who puts their faith in the imaginary jesus of Joseph Smith and the satanic
Mormon cult will die in their sins and their souls burn forever in the
flames of hell!

What about the Bible and true Christian churches?  Mormons love to use the
Bible and quote from the Bible to support their deception that they are
Christians.  The trademark of all cults and false religions, even those who
use the Bible, is that it is NOT their final authority.  In the Mormon cult,
their authority does not come from the Bible which they view as incomplete
and not reliable, but the writings of Smith, the Book of Mormon, the Pearl
of Great Price, and the Doctrine and Covenants.  These are the writings that
form the false theology of this cult.  Romney and all Mormons believe that
non-Mormons are “abominations.”  While they don’t have the guts the Muslims
do to publicly call a non-Muslim an infidel who should be put to death, a
Mormon views a Biblical Christian as part of a “false religion” and void of
all authority.  Mitt Romney believes a Bible-believing Christian, the very
people he is courting so hard, are an abomination!

Like in all cults, the average member hasn’t got a clue what their cult
really believes. You only get to know everything after you have proven
yourself to be a loyal and worthy member of the cult.  That is true in the
Mormon cult as well.  Most Mormons go to their “church,” sing many of the
same hymns they sing at the Baptist church down the road, give their tithe,
read a few passages out of the Bible, hear a message about being a “good
person,” and go home.  It is only when you get to become a “temple Mormon”
that you really learn all of the deep, dark, beliefs of Mormonism.  The
Mormon temple rituals are actually little more than the temple rituals Smith
copied from another cult, Freemasonry!  Smith who was involved in the
Masonic cult, simply copied and incorporated their chants, handshakes, and
ceremonies when he started the Mormon cult.  These are the same chants,
handshakes, and ceremonies Romney participated in when he took his oath to
the Mormon cult above anything else, INCLUDING THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AND
CONSTITUTION!

The average person has no idea that the ultimate goal of the Mormon cult is
to establish a theocracy here in the United States.  Joseph Smith, the
cult’s founder actually ran for the Presidency.  So did Romney’s father.
This cult has the very real goal of establishing the “Kingdom of God,” which
means advancing the physical and earthly organization of the multi-billion
dollar Mormon cult.  There is a special room in the Mormon Temple located in
Washington, DC that has been prepared and in place for over 30 years, which
will be the seat of power for the Mormon-led government which will supplant
our current government.  This was the vision Smith laid out less than 200
years ago, and Mitt Romney and those in the hierarchy and leadership of the
Mormon cult see this as the time for that vision to become fulfilled!

I love you and care about you so much.  I have done my best in a limited
amount of time to give you a brief overview of the false and satanic beliefs
of the Mormon cult..  I have just barely scratched the surface, but just in
what I have shared with you today, NOBODY in their right mind could ever
believe that a Mormon is a Christian.  When you study Mormon theology and
understand the wild beliefs of Smith and this cult, you need faith greater
than I will ever hope to have to believe what they do.  There is no logic to
it and there is absolutely nothing they believe that has any basis in realty
or can be proven.  The mythical gold tablets Smith said he found .  Men who
become gods and have their own planet where they have many wives and create
“spirit babies.”  It all makes Star Trek look believable!

The Mormon cult shares some of the same scientific fantasies of the
Scientology cult dreamed up by that science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard.
It also has some elements of the false religion of Islam in that they
believe all non-Mormons are an abomination and they will one day rule the
earth.  As I shared earlier, they have also taken some of the dark, satanic
rituals of the Masonic cult and incorporated them into their temple
ceremonies.  Listen, Mitt Romney and those in this cult can believe whatever
they want.  God gave us free will, and men who live in rebellion to God
since the very beginning have dreamed up the wildest and most ridiculous
things, and sadly people who were spiritually void chose to believe their
lies and will be lost for all eternity because of it.  My main  point is
that they be honest and truthful about what they believe.  The danger of
Mormonism is that they are deceptive (just look at their name, the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and will lie without conscience  just
like the father of lies, satan (John 8:44), to get people to join their
cult.

The secular media has got to be responsible enough to tell people what the
Mormon cult really believes.  They can’t simply give Romney a pass when he
talks about “his faith” and “his church.”  They need to have the guts to
tell people what “his faith and church” really believe and challenge him
when he uses words like God, Jesus, and the Bible.  They don’t have to take
my word for it.  There is a wealth of information easily accessible out
there by thousands of people who were once part of this cult.  There is 100%
proof and documentation of all that this cult believes.  When you challenge
a Mormon on their beliefs, they will flat out lie to you.  In a recent
debate with Mormon apologist Scott Gordon on the Alan Colmes radio program,
I addressed many of the issues I have talked  about today, plus things like
their belief that you can pray for someone who is dead to be saved, their
belief Black people have been cursed, and each time he flat out LIED about
what they really believe.

So I am calling today for Mr. Romney to take off his jacket, unbutton his
shirt, and let the world see that he wears the sacred undergarments of the
priesthood  that bear the emblems of SATAN’S POWER AND PRIESTHOODS!  I am
calling on Mr. Romany to stop lying and deceiving people that he believes in
God, Jesus, and the Bible, and tell people the god he believes in used to be
a human being who evolved into his status as a god as he plans to one day,
that his jesus is not deity but a created being who can’t save your soul,
and the Bible is imperfect and his final authority are the writings of
Joseph Smith.  That is all I am asking Mr. Romney, TELL PEOPLE WHAT YOUR
“CHURCH” REALLY BELIEVES!

Another View On The Strong Delusion Prophecy

Posted by Job on June 21, 2007

I personally once believed that “strong delusion” was what God was going to send into the world as part of the pre – tribulation secret rapture so that the people Left Behind would not know that we were gone. Why? Because what the rest of the world will make of our disappearances is a major “issue” in dispensationalism and other pre – tribulation rapture doctrines that has not been dealt with in any serious way in anything that I have heard or read (and no, “Left Behind” does not qualify for dealing with it in a serious way). But as I recently re – read the passages of II Thessalonians 2, I saw that the strong delusion will be sent to the church, not to the world.

As stated in a previous weblog post, Mike Ratliff asserts that pre – tribulation rapture doctrines themselves are the strong delusion in What is the Great Delusion?. A hole in his theory in my opinion: believing in a rapture of any sort is a decidedly minority – and much despised – view in Christendom, even among Protestants. He also states that it is because pre – tribulationists reject truth out of the hardness of their hearts (I say “their” because I am now post – tribulationist; see Correlating Don Imus, Christians, Blacks, Women, And The Rapture) … how can that be when the rapture issue is not clearly stated in understandable language? It is not as if these are people claiming that murder isn’t a sin or that godliness is gain (at least not in this instance anyway). But for another perspective on the strong delusion prophecy, please see this Soldier Servant post Strong Delusion – The Apostate Christian Church Has Received The Curse Of The Strong Delusion Sent By God

More “Left Behind” False Doctrine Exposed

Posted by Job on June 21, 2007

Mike Ratliff, whose weblog I find fascinating despite (or perhaps because of) disagreeing with everything on it, makes the bold case that dispensationalism and other pre – tribulation rapture doctrines make up the strong delusion prophesied by Paul in his What is the Great Delusion? article. I disagree, but it is not hard to see why he feels this way. I have detailed how John Hagee is using his dispensational beliefs to justify not attempting to convert Jews and to get us to attack Iran. And Soldier Servant has a couple of posts on the false doctrine is in the “Left Behind” books, and how dangerous it can be! Should Christians Commit Murder For “The Cause”? and False Doctrine In “Left Behind”: The Remnant Teaches Against the Doctrine of the God-Sent Strong Delusion articles. Both webloggers have very strong statements about the matter. I am looking for an article or research paper that contains an unbiased view of the various endtimes doctrines, especially from a historical point of view, so that I can provide it to you. But in general, please be very suspicious of anything that is embraced by the masses and is popular in favor of things that are simple, common, detested, and rejected even by the vast majority of professing Christians.

The Fallout From Taking On Mitt Romney, The Mormons, And Several Leading Evangelicals

***WorldNetDaily Story!  Here is the link to the story WorldNetDaily.com did
from the Friday May 11th Daily Devotional on Mitt Romney and the evangelical
Christian leaders supporting him.  This story has caused a national
firestorm and I will be doing lots of national media this week regarding my
comments.  Please be praying as I am able to expose the lies of this cult
and point people to the Truth of God’s Word and the hope we have in the one
true Jesus of the Bible!

***IF YOU MISSED LAST FRIDAY’S DEVOTIONAL, A VOTE FOR ROMNEY IS A VOTE FOR SATAN, HERE IS THE LINK TO IT:
http://www.liveprayer.com/ddarchive3.cfm?id=2931

See my personal view (NOT authored by Bill Keller, the author of this devotional)why opposing Romney for his Mormonism is NOT a religious test healtheland.wordpress.com/2007/05/13/christian-opposition-to-mormon-mitt-romney-is-not-a-religion-test/

The fallout from taking on Romney, the Mormons, and several leading evangelical leaders. Even though my life is very interesting every day, virtually non-stop in doing all I can to bring God’s Truth and the hope of Christ to the lost and hurting masses outside of the church, the past 72 hours have been interesting times 100.  What I have been dealing with since Friday’s Devotional on how a vote for Romney is a vote for satan and the growing number of leading evangelical Christian leaders who are supporting this satanic cult member’s bid to become our next President, can very instructive for your life.  It is the number one reason most people never take much of a stand for their faith, or even witness to the people in their life.  There is a price to pay for taking a stand for Christ in a world that rejects the Lord.  However, the one thing I want you to never forget is that it is not man you have to please, but God. One day you will die, and at that moment, it is not a man you will stand before….it is God!

The response to Friday’s Devotional was pretty much what I expected.  Alex Burgos, a spokesman for the Romney campaign said, “I guess what I can tell you is it shows that bigotry can still rear its ugly head in society.  It’s sad that anyone would target a fellow American on the issue of faith.”  Ah, the “b” word.  If I had a dime for every time I have been called a bigot in the past 72 hours Liveprayer would be funded for the next 5 years! I’ve told you for years now that the way those who oppose the cause of Christ try to silence those who have the audacity to shine the light of His Truth on their lies is to attack them.  If you speak out against the sin of homosexuality you are called a hate monger.  If you call abortion what it is, murder, you are called intolerant. If you speak out against the cults and false religions of the world you are called close minded. Nobody I know wants to be called any off these things and even worse, so it has proven to be a very effective tactic to verbally assault people of faith who do speak out, and try to intimidate them into silence. Sadly, most of the time it works!

*Be honest.  When was the last time you failed to speak up to defend your faith because you simply didn’t want to take the grief you knew would follow???

For the nearly 8 years I have been writing the Daily Devotional and the over 4 years of doing the TV program, some of the most viscous attacks on our technical infrastructure, on me personally, have come when I expose the lies of the satanic Mormon cult. This time was no different, except it was at an unprecedented level of ferociousness since I was taking on their greatest hope to capture the most powerful office in the world. We had our website and servers attacked relentlessly all weekend.  I’ve received 12 death threats so far in addition to the scores of emails telling me that “someone will visit me when I least expect it.” I refuse to live in fear and having dealt with these types of threats for the past 8 years, have learned how to use the common sense the Lord gave me and ultimately trust Him to watch over me as I serve Him each day.

Even though I expected it, what made me saddest of all were the brutal attacks by those who identified themselves as Christians.  People totally outraged that I would attack such a good man and brother in Christ (meaning Romney).  This is why I do my best each day to expose the lies of the world so you are not as ignorant as the vast majority of Believers. This devious and deceptive cult has done a masterful job of selling the lie that they are “just another Christian church.”  A Mormon is no more a Christian than a Muslim is.  The god and jesus born out of the rebellious mind of Joey Smith are NOT the God and Jesus of the Bible!  The false theology of Mormonism is in 100% contradiction to Biblical Christianity. There is only one Truth, and if Mormonism is true than Christianity is a lie. I was not shocked, only saddened by how many who claim to be Christians are so deceived, so gnorant, that they think a Mormon is a Christian.

It was also sad to see just how many people are influenced, have their houghts and views shaped by TELEVISION!  If there was ever a case for why God has given me this passion, this drive to get the TV program back on nationwide, this was a classic example.  I wish you could have read all of the emails over the past few days, the ones still pouring in, from people who parroted virtually word for word what they have heard from people like Sean Hannity and many who reach the masses on secular TV and radio and support Romney. Hannity is on record stating that anyone who attacks Romney for being a Mormon is a hate monger.  The emails poured in from people who have been brainwashed by those they listen to on TV and radio who make the case for Romney that it doesn’t matter that he is a Mormon, that he has great family values, that he is the best choice there is for a Republican to win the White House in ’08.

This is another perfect example of how critical it is to have a program that is on every day, reaching the nation with a Biblical worldview. So many people, even Christians, have their thoughts and views shaped by what they hear on TV, and there is NOBODY with a nationwide platform on secular television who is dealing with the issues of this world and in people’s lives from a Biblical worldview!

The legitimate question that this has also raised is who to vote for in ’08. As in the past, I refuse to tell you who to vote for, that is a choice YOU have to make.  However, let me give you this guidance.  No person who is serious about their faith can vote for a person who is going to support the killing of babies.  No person who is serious about their faith can vote for a person who is gong to support redefining God’s Holy Institution of Marriage.  No person who is serious about heir faith can vote for a person who is part of a satanic cult since that person will give mainstream credibly to that cult which will lead people to join and end up in hell for rejecting Jesus Christ.  That makes this upcoming presidential election a very difficult choice since it is almost a certainty that the nominee from both parties will support killing babies, possibly gay marriage, and be the member of a satanic cult if Romney wins the Republican nomination. So who to vote for?

As you know I am a huge advocate of Christians taking their stand in all areas of the marketplace, including politics. Most likely our only real option will be choosing a third party candidate who will take a stand to uphold Biblical values. I already know that in this two party system we have, a third party candidate has virtually ZERO chance of ever being elected. However, this election is going to be a test of conscience for Christians. Do they compromise and vote for the “lesser of two evils,” or as some will call it, throw away their vote by voting for a third party candidate who has no chance of winning?  As I said, this will be a real test of conscience for Christians unless a strong man who will take a stand for Biblical values comes out of nowhere to win the Republican nomination. (Sadly, the Democratic Party will never put forth a nominee who doesn’t support killing babies.)

Let me share this with you. Given that the next President is NOT going to be a friend of God and Biblical values, this will be a tremendous opportunity to see this nation come back to God and for many souls to be won to Christ. I have told you often that it will not be a politician but a preacher who will lead this nation back to God. With a President who will not lead this nation in any way spiritually, this is going to force true men and women God who can not be bought or influenced, who don’t care about money or the temporal power of this world, to rise up and lead this nation spiritually. This nation is going to suffer and will be looking for hope and answers, and the Bible and Jesus are the ONLY true hope and answer there is!!!

I love you and care about you so much.  Let me say a HUGE THANK YOU to so many in the Liveprayer family who have emailed me with your love and prayers. I can’t even begin to tell you how much your kind words of support have meant. The strength I received from knowing how many of you were praying for me helped me get through some very long days. In the midst of the death threats, the threats of physical harm, the nasty and vicious attacks on me personally, came the love and prayers of so many in the Liveprayer family. No matter how strong we think we are, we are still flesh and blood, week frail humans. I have such great confidence each day in this work God has called me to knowing that you are there with me, standing with me, taking the time out of your busy lives to pray for me. THANK YOU!

In announcing last week that I would be dealing with Romney this past Friday, I heard from one of the top 10 donors of Liveprayer who over the past few years has given between $70,000 and $100,000 each year. He and his family have been blessed by God and have made the sacrifice to support what Liveprayer is doing each day in millions of lives. He called me and told me his family was very active in Romney’s campaign and that if I spoke negatively about Romney he would not be able to support me any longer. I told him that I understood and took the time to explain my concerns with Romney being part of a satanic cult and why I felt he was such a danger to the eternal souls of people if he got elected. I told him that as much as I respected him, I could not withhold or water down this important message warning people of what  it will mean if Romney became President. I also reminded him that he is giving to God, not Bill Keller, thanked him for his
sacrifice for the Lord’s work here, prayed for him and his family and asked God’s blessings on them.

I heard from many more who said they would no longer give to Liveprayer as well as those who unsubscribed from the Daily Devotional. But that is OK, I deal with this all the time. God is the one who has raised up this last day’s work, God is the one who moves on people’s hearts to give, and God is the one who can replace what this one family and these others give each year with others in the Liveprayer family who will be burdened for a true work of God that is about saving souls. This ministry has literally operating month to month since we started 92 months ago.  There are no reserves, no real estate, no safety net of any kind. As I sit here this very moment, we still need $60,000 just to pay the rest of May’s expenses and I have no idea where that will come from. Actually I do. God will move on hearts to provide. Who, how, when, I can’t tell you. I just know that my job is to be faithful for today and God will handle those things outside of my control!

Here is the bottom line to this whole Romney issue. What too many people, especially the people who have been reading what I said in the press can’t comprehend is that this is not about politics, this is about SOULS! My frustration with the many evangelical leaders who are supporting Romney is that they have forgotten that God raised them up to lead people in the eternal things of God, not the temporal things of this world. Why men of God, great groups like the Southern Baptist Convention are willing to support a man who is part of a satanic cult is beyond my ability to comprehend. I realize he is running to be the commander-in-chief, not the theologian-in-chief. I realize that he has a great marriage, great kids, and says he will stand for family values. He actually might be one of the best men there is to be President and lead this nation. (My note: the guy was a one – term governor of a liberal state. What makes people think that he is so electable or qualified? That proves that it is spiritual deception going on.)

Even if all of that was 100% true, it is still no excuse to support a man who is part of a satanic cult, whose election to the most powerful office on the planet will give worldwide credibility to that satanic cult, will cause millions of people to join their ranks, and ultimately cause them to die in their sins and spend eternity in hell! His candidacy alone has already been a non-stop infomercial for the Mormon cult! I am not saying to abandon the political arena, quite the opposite. We must have a presence and be heard in all areas of life. However, we must never forget that we go into everything we do in this life guided ultimately by eternal goals, not earthly goals.

I REFUSE TO TRADE IN A FEW YEARS OF POLITICAL POWER IN THIS WORLD THAT WILL ONE DAY SOON NO LONGER EXIST FOR THE ETERNAL SOULS OF THOSE WHO WILL END UP JOINING THE MORMON CULT AND BURN IN HELL!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
