Jesus Christ Is Lord

That every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father!

The Necessity Of The Holy Trinity

Posted by Job on October 26, 2011

Motivated at least in part by the current controvery over oneness heretic T.D. Jakes, (also here and here) please read two very good pieces on the importance of the Holy Trinity. Hopefully, this will help Christians understand that we are to separate with heretics, not dialogue with them.

On The Trinity: Part One – Hermeneutics

On the Trinity: Part Two – The Trinity, Central to Apologetics and Evangelism

There is but one God and one faith and one baptism. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are titles of God but his name is Jesus Christ. He is all titles given to him but his name is Jesus Christ. Act 2:38 repent be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
How is it complicated. If you married and are man does your wife take your name or keep hers and is just called mrs plus her fathers family given name to her at birth? He is king of kings and Lord of Lords and he is coming back to earth for all who believe in him.

Jesus was not dead at the time of the scripture you quote, therefore John the Baptist baptized in the titles, as he was the forerunner of Christ.

Read these scriptures and tell me that you are able to see the word of God clearly.

    Matt 3:11, Mark 1:4, Mark 1:18. Luke 3:16 John 1:25-26 and 33, Matt. 13:52 and 25:32, Mark16:52, lUKE 24:47

    Acts 1:28, 2:38, 8:16, 19:14, 22:16 Romans 6:3, 1Corinthians 1:13, 1:15, 1:17 and Galations 3:27 and 2 Timothy 2:19.

Calling upon the name of the Lord, he is all three titles but his name is Jesus Christ in the English and Yeshua Ha’Mashiac in the hebrew. Does the Bride take the name of Mrs without her husbands name behind it? Maybe today in this society but not in reality. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are all titles of God who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Who God is, is very clear in the testament both old and new. In Acts 1:2 it clearly states not until the day he3 was taken up to heaven, after giving instruction through the HOLY SPRIT to the Apostles. Jesus said to Peter that he gave him the keys to the kingdom of Heaven and if Peter commanded you to Baptize in this manner, why would we argue against the word.
