Has Anyone Paid Any Attention To The Huge Sums Of Money Barack HUSSEIN Obama Has At His Disposal?

Posted by Job on October 11, 2008

I do not know what is more incredible: Barack Obama’s obscene amount of cash, or how the media absolutely refuses to talk about it. Let me put this in a bit of perspective. I remember back in 1996, the media observers were convinced that Phil Gramm was going to be a major factor in the GOP primary and perhaps even win the nomination because he had raised $16 million dollars. Fast forward to 2004, and when George W. Bush used “bundling” and “pioneers” to raise about $200 million, it was a huge story, and people on both sides pointed out how it meant that the system was in need of reform. Well now, at last check, Barack Obama had raised $458 million dollars and counting! In a bad economy!

There is more. First, there are allegations that Obama has not reported all of his donations, or that he has a habit of making the donations appear much smaller than they actually are. In other words, $458 million is all that he has reported. There are a lot of reasons to believe that the true figure is much higher.

Second, and this is something that not even the Republican and conservative media that is ALLEGEDLY so against Obama is talking much about: there is also much reason to believe that a good bit of Obama’s money is coming from overseas. The result: Obama is able to have a 3 to 1 television advantage over McCain in battleground states, be on the air in more states period than McCain, have an almost unspeakable advantage in funding get out the vote activities, and to buy a 30 minute commercial on network television to air 6 days before the election.

Again, I have real doubts that the $458 million figure is accurate. Why? Because Hillary Clinton spent $150 million and was broke by Super Tuesday way back in early February. And this was with Clinton focusing primarily on television and ignoring the get out the vote efforts that Obama has dwarfed any previous records by several magnitudes. So how on earth could the $300 million difference have paid for Obama’s activities since Super Tuesday (by which time he had spent at least $100 million himself) until now and still leave him with the $100 million that it is going to take to air his 30 minute commercial? That is why I believe that the $458 million has to be more like $700 million.

So the question is: where is all this money coming from? The media is plying the Obama campaign line that it is grandmothers charging up their credit cards with $10 contributions such as listed in that first story above, but come on. Is it wealthy individuals overseas? Is it foreign governments even? Like, maybe, Raila Odinga’s regime, Barack Obama’s Kenyan cousin? Or some even more troubling financial channels?

That was precisely the type of thing that I was hoping that Jerome Corsi would dig up. But it being almost a week since the fellow was expelled from Kenya with no real news since then, I wonder if this story will remain a mystery.

Yes, I have made several $25 donations to Barack Obama’s Campaign Fund. It is the first time I EVER donated to a Presidential Campaign. SO, I KNOW the majority of his campaign money has come from millions of small donations, from simple people like me. Remeber, Barack Obama has NOT recieved any public funds, like his opponent. THAT SAYS A LOT! Do the research before spewing out propaganda.

The nomination of Obama is bigger than Mandela. You can list a dozen reasons why he is not experienced, socialistic, pro-choice but none of it matters.
The world and Hollywood want to make this happen. This is like a bad Disney movie like one star once said. The children are already singing praises.
This money is only on the surface. Obama is a religion.

Do you KNOW that they have already found fake donors funneling money to his campaign?

I have done the research and the numbers do not add up.

    Job,
As Gwen Ifill put it we are in the age of Obama. The normal political constructs are obliterated. This persona has the world swooning as he takes pot shots at the institutions we call dear.
Instead of preaching “repent” the mantra is “change” which is #2 and #3 in Webster’s under repent. Check your Webster’s. Fundamental change is something he says an awful lot without description.
I’m not going to drink the Kool-aid. I don’t want to be bitter with guns and religion but I do want the real Christ.

  6. Yemi said

Mr James are u expecting a political leader to preach repent? It seems to me that Americans have come to think that their government should be righteous or holy. It’s not going to happen and it has never had.

  7. James said

The term “change” or what Obama usually says “fundamental change” is something similar to repent in our language.
The government is just a representation of the people it governs. I am in it. I can only demand righteousness from myself.
I will do what I can to be salt and light.
The love for Obama is something we haven’t seen for any politician in our lifetime. Christians are now looking for Obama to change the United States. The treasury cannot support his promises without hefty taxes on us all. People are hypnotized anyway at his oratory skills. Mainline Christians are split.
I’m a black evangelical Christian. I am a minority of a minority. Most black protestants according to the Pew Research page will be voting for Obama at 95%. White evangelicals will be voting for McCain according to Pew.
I’m an independent so I prefer the Independent candidates. I hope Alan Keyes will be on my ballot. I probably won’t write in a candidate but pick the best independent on the page. Our voting books come out next week.

Listen – Do you think one that he is really going to make a change

This is bull he is not going to change anything when Obama gets in he will then take off that mask and you will then see the true colors. If anyone thinks Obama is going to make a change in this world they are CORRECT but the change that he has in mind will start the destruction of all the CHRISTIANS and religious beliefs – when he talks about universal what Do you think he is taking about – WAKE UP PEOPLE

The one thing I can’t understand is why do we let others lead and guide us instead of letting GOD do it – I bet those of you who gave to his party could not say when the last time that gave so freely in their own church.—- GOD HELP US

  9. James said

We know he is blowing sulfuric smoke on us. The treasury can’t support his weekly promises but when people hear buzzwords like “fundamental change”,”change we need” or class warfare jargon they go into a hypnotic trance and chant Obama, Obama.
If you say you prefer capitalism over socialism, note Obama’s inexperience, note his negative affiliations aplenty, support traditional marriage, or are Pro-life then you don’t really mean it; you are just being racist. They say you are detracting or distracting from the issues. The MSNBC guys don’t want you to be distracted by the many reasons to vote for someone else.
Neither major candidate is the embodiment of hope. Each one could be a positive or detrimental change.

IF WE CHOOSE TO VOTE FOR SOMEONE THAT BELIEVES IN THIRD TERM ABORTION -THEN WHEN WE PULL THAT LEVER WE CAN SAY WE ALSO BELIEVE IN THIS. IT’S SO HARD TO SEE HOW CHRISTIANS CAN SO EASY BE SWEEP OFF THEIR FEET AND GO WITH THE WAY THE WIND IS BLOWING. I READ MY BIBLE AND STUDY THE WORD OF GOD AND I KNOW JESUS MENTION TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO BE STEAD FAST AND TO STAND ON THE SOLID FOUNDATION. UNTIL WE STOP LETTING THE ” CROWD” PERSUADE US AND “CHANGE” US WE CAN NEVER TRULY SAY WE ARE CHRIST LIKE AND WE DESIRE TO BE LIKE HIM IN EACH AND EVERY WAY.

  11. CAN ANYONE SAY ANTICHRIST. Surely principalities are working to get this man in office. Recently I heard a news report that hindus and muslims are praying for Barack to obtain the presidency. Christians – keep praying.

I WAS THINKING THE OTHER DAY AND CAME UP WITH THE BEST SOLUTION TO A LOT OF THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE GOING ON TODAY:
IF HILARY, OBAMA, McCAIN AND ALL OF THE PAST RUNNING MATES WOULD TAKE ALL THE FUNDS THAT HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO THEIR CAMPAIGNS AND SPENT WE COULD ACTUALLY FEED, CLOTH, SHELTER ALL THE HOMELESS AND GIVE ALL THE YOUNG PEOPLE THAT ARE HAVING TROUBLE STAYING OUT OF TROUBLE HELP, AND EVEN SEND SOME OF THEM TO COLLAGE.

BUT WE RATHER SUPPORT PEOPLE THAT ARE IN NO WAY READY TO HELP ANYONE BUT THEM SELVES, AND TO BE CALLED PRESIDENT MEANS TO HAVE SUCH POWER THAT THEY OVER LOOKING THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN NEED.

THE GOVERNMENT IS TAKING OUR MONIES AND SPENDING IT ANY WAY THEY WANT AND EVEN THOUGH OUR PICKINGS ARE SLIM WE NEED TO PRAY AND PRAY HARD AND REMOVE OUR SELF WILL – WE SHOULD NOT VOTE FOR THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN, GET OUT THEIR AND FIND OUT THE FACTS AND AGAIN MOST OF ALL PRAY BEFORE YOU PULL THE LEVER – GO D MAKE SPEAK TO US AND SAY DON’T VOTE.

Dictators and terrorists worldwide have picked a leader for us. The underworld is cheering for the same guy.
This is just innocent coincidence right?
Which candidate would most likely add to the national debt with his many promises? When Republicans have the presidency the focus goes to the national debt. When the DNC is in control then not much is said about it. Homelessness and hunger are the same way.

  14. It has to happen for scripture to be fulfilled. Americas power and might must be brougt down to nothing so Isreal can cry out to the Father. She will stand alone in the world, and only then will God hear her cry.
This is the end of America. A new power from the east will arise. One that will own us without firing a shot. China!
She has loaned us billions of dollars and this is where the last stimulas package came from. And the next one they’ve said they want to give is in the works.
Obama has said America is no longer a Christian nation and we say nothing.
He wants to tax the rich, who by the way create jobs. When the rich say I’ve got enough money i’m out of here, then we lose more jobs and the middle class and poor suffer.
He wants to sit and talk to terroists. HuH! About what? How to turn over our country to them. They’ve said they will have this country someday, and its here.
Where do you think he gets his money. Even Hillary questioned where money seemed to come from out of nowhere. Could it be from muslim nations? I think you know the answer.

As a black male I know what is going on and I pray we all prepare our hearts for the coming of the Lord.

  15. Job, did you read more than the first couple paragraphs of that LA Times story? It makes it pretty obvious he’s got money coming in from sources that are not revealing themselves and he’s getting away with accepting the money.

  16. Of course he’s returning the few bits of money the media exposed, while we know he’s taking in much more from people with fictitious names and given the under $200 rule, he’s got a lot of other money that nobody will ever know the source of. How many fictitious people can donate under $200?

  17. And of course McCain is doing it too.

  18. James said

Obama had dozens of reasons he should be disqualified and McCain has a few.

  19. Job said

    James:

    “and McCain has a few”

Well McCain should be disqualified on the basis of those few reasons then. God’s standard has never been “the lesser of two evils.” That is man’s standard. God’s standard is holiness and righteousness. I know that we are electing a president and not a pastor (and that even if we were, pastors are human who sin like everyone else). Still, John McCain has done plenty to demonstrate that he will not be a wise, honest, and fair ruler. Wiser, more honest, and more fair than Obama? Maybe. Than Bush? Maybe. But don’t count on it. Remember: Bush was a much bigger disaster than was Bill Clinton, and than Gore or Kerry would have been. And to this day, I am convinced that he was “selected” precisely for that reason.

    Greetings,

Hope you are well. There is going to come a time when martial law will be establsihed. The government will confiscate all guns, impose curfews and arrest legitamate political adversaries calling them domestic terrorists. These events will proceed and get greater and greater.

The only solution is non violent resistance. An opposition would need time to organize and produce leaders.

Saying all this the Allmighty is working His deeds already selecting those who will come to power when our glorious Lord and Saviour, Jesus shall reign.

Well John, if Obama gets in, then I have to admit your scenario is a possibility…it is quite possible for the first time in North American History, that the Body of Christ is going to face physical persecution from the State….

  22. James said

If Obama isn’t elected we will have mass hysteria and demonstrative outrage. If Obama wins our outrage will be within simmering for the next 4 years.

  23. John Kaniecki said

    Brothers,

    Hi hope you are well.

Actually I see my scenario playing out if Obama gets elected and then is somehow denied the presidency. Then the people of color in the inner city would riot just like after Martin Luther King got assinated.

I was at an anti war rally on Friday as is my usual practice. People came with Obama signs. Man o man did the cars beep in favour of that. (I myself see no candidate fitting my complex formula of values. I am against abortion and war and it seems both McCain and Obama endorse those things. I most likely will vote for Moore who is the Socialist candidate. He does favor abortion but being on the ballot in only thirteen states there is absolutely no chance of him winning. This way I can make my small but important protest and do no harm.)

I know many people who just think Obama is the answer to everything.

But I see your point too. If Obama was elected and tried to make dramatic socialist change than that to would be met with opposition but opposition of a different kind. I find this very unlikely however if you listen to the debates and the rhetoric. If I closed my eyes and ignored the difference in voices I see little difference between the two.

Which ever candidate is elected,(or if Bush does not give up power), he is going to have one big mess to deal with.

I think at dramatic times like this we must be the more diligent to stick to our Christian values and not be caught up in carnal matters. I know God is up to something. When I preach I often mention that Isreal was enslaved for 430 years in Egypt. That meant Jews were born slaves and lived their entire lives as slaves. I realize the slavery in Egypt cannot be compared to the slavery in America but still the facts remain. God works in His time not ours. I feel God is going to work in a big big way that none can deny His hand. The masses blinded by satan may accuse God’s work as being of the devil but they said the same thing about our Lord and Saviour Jesus.

By the way say a prayer for me as I have a job interview on Thursday. Selling cars wasn’t right for me.

    Love,

    John

    Greetings,
I do not vote for anyone who isn’t pro-Life. It won’t happen they don’t need to ask for my vote unless they agree that human rights begins at conception.
George W. Bush will go back to Crawford as soon as he can. He is a lame duck who sponsored this last nightmare of a bill. He is just a few democrats short of impeachment. He won’t fight for power. The DNC will have a supermajority so they will get the change they want. They will be in a position to take the credit and the blame.

  25. Hi James

I don’t think there will be a riot. As a black male I can truthfully say everyone is too tired to riot.
There are thousands of African Americans who are not voting for
    Obama.
Most consider that Obama thinks his own are stupid and will vote for him just because. But I got news for him. It ain’t so.

My name is Minister Patrick Williams, and I approve this message.

  26. I have been watching the news and all of the different shows and talk about Obama. Why do I see so many young white women sticking up for him? I am serious. I really want to know.

  27. Fran said

    John,

So you will vote for someone that favors abortion? Why vote at all? Voting for Moore is not going to offset anything. To be against abortion, then to vote for someone that is for abortion doesn’t make sense, or do you just have to exercise that right to vote? Just asking.

    Love,
    Fran

Reverend Williams, may I suggest as a White Male, that many White Women are voting for Obama for 2 reasons…they think he is nice looking and more importantly, they are encumbered by White Liberal guilt…of course that is in White Males..

Not me though..I am a Christian before I am anything and I am not responsible for what some evil white folks did to Blacks and Natives….all I can do is point all people to the solution to their pain…and That is Christ…

Also, I hope you are right about their being no riots..I got a feeling if Obama loses, it could get ugly…and I believe it will be more far leftist white punks then anything..

Remember Seattle a few years ago..all those rioters were white…disgusting isn’t it..

James…I totally agree…if one isn’t against Abortion and the Gay Agenda, I can’t vote for them…sadly, McCain has waffled on these positions but Obama is explicitly pro Gay agenda and pro abortion…that makes him far worse…

John, yes right now Obama has shifted to the right…he had too…he was radical left…

BUT the real Obama is a radical leftist….whether we will see the radical Obama if he takes the Presidency is another thing…

McCain is a Centrist and has been fairly consistent in that though he too moved further to the right for election purposes…the real McCain in in the center no doubt..

Not pleasing to me as a Conservative but still better then Obama…granted, just about anyone is better then Obama…even Hillary…ha ha ha….

    Take care

  29. John Kaniecki said

    Fran,

    Hi hope you are well.

What is the purpose of voting for somebody who cannot win? It just shows that I was concerned enough and willing to make an effort.

As far as Moore being for abortion I have problems with that. Yet I like the ideals of the Socialist party and the members are down to Earth.

Actually only half the people who could vote wind up voting. If everyone who felt disenfranchised by the system voted for a third party then things would get shaken up.

Since my candidate has no chance of winning I don’t feel bad that he isn’t perfect.

    Love,

    John

There will be great anger expressed on election day by whichever side loses. Christians will have to choose sides on this great culture war that is only beginning. The DNC will gain senators and have a strong majority. We will lurch towards socialism some will cheer while others groan. The battle against same sex marriage or abortion is NOT over if pastors would teach the Bible and not politically correct hogwash.
Palin has been mocked because she is a female supporting McCain. Some star said it was like a chicken supporting Colonel Sanders. This is because she is pro-Life.
I like McCain better than Bush or Obama even though he has flaws. His website lists his support for the unborn. I don’t see where he has waffled. I keep reading about it here only. I still like the Independent Christians running and would vote for one. I am in a blue state anyway. I may as well vote my conscience.

  31. Job said

    James:

“There will be great anger expressed on election day by whichever side loses.” Since the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God but instead is a work of the flesh that Satan manipulates to produce hatred, division, strife, and murder, what does that tell you? Bottom line: even if the lesser of two evils does win in November, it is still a triumph of evil and as a result something that no discerning Christian should support or rejoice in. (By the way, this is coming from someone who supported and triumphed in the victory of evil in the case of Jeb and George W. Bush and a ton of other neoconservatives who turned out to be freemasons, Skulls and Bones, CFRs, globalists, adulterers, closeted homosexuals, etc.)

  32. James said

    Job,
I am in agreement with your last. I mentioned the Pew Research polls showed the difference between whites, blacks, evangelicals and mainline Christians. Those polls reveal the deep seated racial divide that we have. I go to a church that has over 10000 blacks and I see several Obama stickers on the cars but no McCain stickers. The pastor is outspoken for life, and traditional marriage. If he weren’t I wouldn’t stay.
If we all believed and followed the same bible we wouldn’t have such drastic differences.
The church should be outspoken about the moral issues and not be wishywashy with political correctness that divides us. We are divided primarily because of ignorance of the scriptures and their meanings. I need to study the scriptures more myself and I will tonight.
I won’t rejoice next month knowing the state of the Church. The church should speak out against hatred and murder. I would include murder of the children. We should come to an agreement on Christian persecution within the United States.
I do not hate socialists or democrats. Many people who I love dearly are more far to the left than most democrats. Some are in high places in the Church. Here we have a candidate that Christians will put aside the books of Leviticus, Deutoronomy and Romans to embrace this politician who will oppose many of our prayers. All I can do is try slip a few scriptures in and hope I can persuade them in love.

  33. Job said

    James:

“The church should speak out against hatred and murder.” Why pray tell?

It is true that the prophets of the Old Testament did such a thing. But they were speaking only to Israel, with the only known exception was God sending Jonah to Assyria. Israel was God’s covenant people, so the message to them was appropriate.

In these last days, the covenant people is not national or genetic Israel, but spiritual Israel, the church. So, modern prophets should speak out against hatred and murder, but only to the church. Taking that message to people that are not born again is casting pearls before swine, and Jesus Christ stated that we should not do so lest the swine not only trample the pearls (which represent sound doctrine) in the mud, but also turn on us next!

And that is the primary doctrinal error of the religious right. They think that they are telling America that abortion and gay marriage is wrong. What they are really doing to be honest is telling sinners that sin is wrong. Check that. What they are telling sinners that CERTAIN sins, the sins that personally offend THEM the greatest, are wrong.

And what is the effect? Do they really expect these people to stop doing these sins just because they say that they are wrong, for people not born again to change their ways? And even if they do, the sinner will just exchange one sin for another. You recall the teaching of Jesus Christ … cast one demon out of a sinner, and he will come back with 7 more that are even worse! And the worst part of all is that even if we are able to sell sinners on our moral code and they become outwardly very moral and upstanding people (like no small amount of Jews, Muslims, and Hindus are) they will still go to the lake of fire anyway.

So it is the church, God’s covenant people, born again Christians, that need to hear that murder, hatred, racism, lying, etc. are wrong. Everybody else only needs to hear that they are sinners and need a savior.

By the way, the second biggest fallacy of the religious right: we are a democracy. When has any democracy EVER chosen to be less sinful and more moral? We have seen kings, emperors, dictators, etc. unilaterally decree righteous laws, especially upon converting to Yahweh. So Pharoah, Darius, Nebuchadnezzar, and the Christian monarchs that we have had did so because they had the power. But do you honestly believe that a large population of unredeemed people are going to collectively exercise power to restrict itself from sin?

That only works when the people that they are trying to restrict is someone else. For instance, they will vote people and measures in office that will stop the other guy from being immoral. But they won’t do so to stop THEMSELVES from being immoral! If nothing else in our national history did not prove this, prohibition did. That is why the idea that we will ever overturn Roe v. Wade or ban gay marriage is a pipe dream. That fallen man will ever collectively choose righteousness when even God’s own people (first Israel and then the church) so often chooses evil is a great deception that denies even the basics of original sin. Otherwise, why did God even have to send His Son? He could have just raised up religious right prophets and allowed us to vote our sins away!

That is why I keep telling you that if you want to vote for McCain because he is the most competent, qualified, and honest and would make a wise, effective ruler, go ahead. (Note: I would disagree with you, but at least you would be making your decision for a reason that is based on reality, not the fiction that any president will ever put the 5th vote against Roe v. Wade on the Supreme Court.) But if your doing so is based on the idea that he or any other president is going to stop abortion or gay marriage, then you are deluding yourself, and the Bible says that Christians should not be deluded. So in that context, it is good that your church doesn’t have McCain stickers, because if it did, it would merely be adding the deluded McCain people to the already deluded Obama people.

    Job,
I agree with you once again that we don’t just cast our pearls before swine. The problem with that a seeker may come to a church where the morals are preached but convinced that they should vote contrary to their biblical beliefs.

I wouldn’t ask someone to check their faith in at the door when they vote.
We believe that God knew us while we were in the womb. Why would we vote for someone who doesn’t share this belief? Check Wikipedia for the Born Alive Infant protection act where the leading candidate was outspoken against it and voted against it 3 times.
