Joe Chavalia Kills Unarmed Indigent Single Mother In Her Own Bedroom! Why Was It Not Murder? BECAUSE HE WORKS FOR THE STATE!

Please see link below on how the state’s power is ever increasing. And no, people, this is not about race. This is about the unchecked growth of state power and the total lack of accountability. Today, the state goes after the poor. Tomorrow, the state – and big business – will come after everybody else. Christians, what are you going to do when the anti – Christ state declares you its enemy and comes after you? Or are you so conformed to this world and its ways and so lukewarm in your witness and testimony through the life that you lead that the state will not consider you an enemy but rather a friend and hence will have no reason to come after you?

By the way: make no mistake the state is able to get away with this only because this “drug raid” policy targets poor people. If these same tactics targeted the rich or even the upper class, such persons would not put up with it for a second. They would leave and take their ability to create wealth, businesses, and jobs (not to mention pay the taxes!) and go to some place where the possibility of a crime being committed in their home does not result in someone dead. Now be honest: if SWAT teams were busting into upscale rave parties with guns blazing or shooting embezzlers, tax cheats, and going after the MANY affluent drug users that we have in our society, you could imagine the outrage and calls for reform. How do I know this? Do any of you remember Randy Weaver? He was a fellow that decided that our government was illegitimate because it afforded equal rights to black people. There were other reasons, mind you, but make no mistake, Weaver was primarily motivated by his white separatism. Weaver also decided to acquire himself a huge stash of weapons, and to ILLEGALLY sell those weapons to his white separatist brethren. Well, it just so happened that Weaver sold a sawed off shotgun to a federal agent that he believed was a fellow traveler. What did this person want the weapon for? To kill a police officer, or maybe any black person that had the gall to be found in the area? Weaver didn’t know or care. In any event, the fellow quite predictably refused to respond to summons to court to stand trial for his crime. So, when the authorities came to arrest Weaver, a standoff and shootout ensued that resulted in the death of Weaver’s wife.

Now this should come as no shock to anyone. Armed criminals tend to resist capture, and the result of this resistance often results in injury or death. Except that “conservatives”, the very same types of people that are now cheering the acquittal in this instance, rushed to Randy Weaver’s defense. The government action was “a setup.” The law that Weaver broke was “illegitimate because it infringes on our Second Amendment rights.” Weaver was “targeted because of his politically incorrect beliefs.” Rather than bringing it on herself for living with a criminal, Weaver’s wife – also shot while holding her child – was “murdered by the state.” Now the blogosphere did not exist back then, but talk radio and the conservative magazines ate it up and made Weaver a hero. He was feted on Capitol Hill, speaking before a congressional committee on the need of the ATF to change its tactics and be reformed as the personal star guest of the Republican Congress. He received a huge settlement from the government. And he never saw a day in jail for his original crime of trafficking in illegal weapons OR firing on the government officials that rightfully came to arrest him.

So Weaver is a hero and victim of government aggression, while Wilson “deserved it” because of her immoral and illegal life choices. What is the difference in the eyes of a conservative? We all know: class, race, and culture. Well, it is precisely the sort of classism, racism, and cultural chauvinism that allows the power of the unjust anti – Christ state to grow by leaps and bounds. , as the very “big government watchdogs” that swung into action to defend a man who was trying to kill law enforcement officials (remember G. Gordon Liddy selling “ATF agent” crosshair targets?) fully support this action. Both Ms. Weaver and Tarika Wilson died after being shot by government agents while holding their children in their arms. The difference is that the former happened because her husband was shooting back! In the Wilson case, the only shots fired were by the state. It is also ever more ironic that so many of the very conservatives that wanted to monitor and curb state power in the Weaver instance now support the Patriot Act, FISA, and virtually everything the state claims that it needs or wants to fight the war on terror.

I agree that this isn’t really about race because if she had been killed by a racist civilian, I don’t think the verdict would have been the same. If I am not mistaken, her boyfriend was a drug dealer whom the police were looking for that night. She, like Sean Bell, died as a result of befriending the wrong crowd. That makes it even more tragic.

    LorMarie:

Regarding both her and Sean Bell, I reject the notion that either died as a result of befriending the wrong crowd. Let me tell you why: it is a well known fact that George W. Bush’s daughters, Jenna and I forget the other one’s name, used to heavily hit the party scene where cocaine, ecstasy, you name it, were put out and used right in the open. When the media started reporting on it – a little – George W. Bush demanded that they “respect his daughter’s privacy” and the stories went away. Now this is not an indictment on the Bush family specifically, because it is also known that at our better universities, there is an absolutely crazy scene of illegal party drug use. One college town, Gainesville Florida, ran a story about how the local hospital emergency rooms were overflowing with having to treat student overdose cases, and not just during the weekend, but college kids going to these parties and taking too many drugs DURING THE WEEK! They also reported the fact that there was an “understanding” that in most cases authorities – and often not even parents – would be notified, but rather this situation was to be accepted and swept under the rug. Why? Because the University of Florida – and the mostly wealthy students that attend it – IS Gainesville’s economy, and the image of that university is vital to that of the entire state. So, when the local paper spilled the beans, PEOPLE ACTUALLY GOT MAD AT THE LOCAL PAPER!

So, of course, despite our so – called “war on drugs”, there is absolutely no danger of any drug party that Jenna Bush, a University of Florida coed, some Hollywood celebrity (a notorious drug scene there) being labeled a crack house and shot up by a SWAT team. Incidentally, this also goes for strip clubs regarding the Sean Bell case. The pro – state (right wing) types in that incident made me so sick with their hypocrisy claiming that Bell brought it on himself for going to a “sleazy strip club that was known for criminal activity.” Excuse me, but what strip club DOESN’T involve drug use, prostitution, money laundering, and organized crime? But NYPD doesn’t raid the upscale strip clubs that wealthy tourists or CEOs are known to frequent so that they can buy drugs and prostitutes all under the watchful eye of the mafia who protects them from getting set up or blackmailed, do they?

So it looks like George Bush’s daughters (and also their first cousin Jeb Bush’s daughter, who is also a drug addict who has stolen to support her habit and never seen the inside of a jail), plenty of college coeds, plenty of movie and rock stars, and plenty of high powered lawyers and CEOs are guilty of the same crime as this Wilson woman and Sean Bell: befriending the wrong crowd. However, the state doesn’t target people like THAT with semi – military operations that they know will result in unarmed people being killed.

It is all about the state being willing to do whatever it wants so long as the target is the poor and powerless. These people do not realize that the state uses the poor and powerless to gain influence and set precedents today that they will use to target everyone else tomorrow. Take the Patriot Act: a major reason why so many of its provisions were accepted by the public and the courts was that similar measures have been in place to fight “the war on drugs” since the 1980s. The profiling, random searches, no fly lists … there is NO WAY that this would have been accepted in the political and legal climate in the 1970s or 1980s, especially in response to a few guys that the federal government allowed to enter our country, allowed to take flight lessons, and allowed to buy one way tickets with no luggage despite many or all of them already being closely watched by the feds for their known terrorist sympathies and activities flying planes into the World Trade Center! That is right, we have to submit ourselves to random searches at airports because our government let known terrorists into our country AND refused to arrest or deport them despite their undergoing training for their mission while being monitored by the FBI the whole time! But because we have allowed profiling and searches to go on with “the war on drugs” for going on 30 years, we accept the same tactics with “the war on terror” also.

I disagree with applying the terms guilt or crime to Sean Bell or Wilson, but rather they were victims of bad company. I do agree that the poor are more likely to be targeted than the rich. But even the poor can escape such tyranny by avoiding the bad apples.
