Big Trouble For Barack HUSSEIN Obama Based On His Church?

Posted by Job on January 16, 2008

Now a few months back when Trinity Church of Christ was being derided for being a black nationalist liberation theology outfit that does not preach the true Jesus Christ, the left out of their hatred for Jesus Christ rushed to condemn Tucker Carlson and the other attackers. As a matter of fact, I participated in a lively “discussion” on that issue the day that I started this weblog. But now that Hillary Clinton fans see their ice queen’s march to the presidency threatened by this Negro usurper, the white left begins to pull from the same bag of racist parlor tricks as does conservatives.

Witness this article from Richard Cohen of the Washington Post. Now Cohen is actually an atheist, but he pretends to be Jewish when it is time to launch political attacks at his enemies by associating them with anti – Semitism. Cohen completely ignores the huge Jew and Israel hating contingent among Hillary Clinton supporters to demand that Obama disavow his church because its magazine gave an award to Louis Farrakhan. Now Trinity United Church of Christ has been doing similar things for years. As a matter of fact, it is impossible for the leading black liberation theology church in Chicago, where Farrakhan has his home base, not to have praised Farrakhan and similar black nationalists. If Cohen didn’t care about it when Obama was elected to Senate and becoming a much – needed celebrity for the Democratic Party the past four years, he certainly doesn’t care about it now. Just like he didn’t care about the ties that Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP leader Kwiese Mfume had with the Nation of Islam. Mfume, you see, wasn’t running against Bill Clinton’s wife.

Of course, the goal of this is to put Obama in a no – win situation. First of all, associating Barack HUSSEIN Obama with the “black Muslim” radical Farrakhan reminds white voters of things like Barack HUSSEIN Obama having an African Muslim father (and stepfather) and spending a few years in a Muslim school in Indonesia. Now the Nation of Islam is every bit the pseudo – Islam as Trinity United is pseudo – Christianity, but Cohen (and the Clintons) are banking on your typical Nevada, South Carolina, Florida, etc. white primary voter not knowing this.

Second, suppose Obama chooses not to respond. The line then becomes that JUST MAYBE Obama loves Farrakhan and hates Jews. That brings the fact that Obama, for a host of legitimate reasons that I will not get into, is known to be more sympathetic to the Palestinians and less sympathetic to Israel than most prominent politicians from the backburner to the forefront. Now this has not been a major issue so far primarily because Cohen and the rest of the left have been far more willing to countenance anti – Israel and pro – Palestinian voices than in the past because of spite against the pro – Israel Republican evangelical Christians. (More than a few Jewish leaders, and not all of them liberal, have even found backing a Palestinian state and risking the almost certain destruction of Israel as a result preferable to having to thank evangelical Christians for defending Israel.) This makes support for Israel a prominent political consideration in the Democratic Party that is less than two years removed from running off Joe Lieberman again. The thing is that even if Barack HUSSEIN Obama does what is required of him, Jews will have to think long and hard about whether to support the “risky unknown unproven black guy from Chicago with the African Muslim name” or “stick with the safe proven fighter for Israel and Jewish interests Hillary Clinton.” Please recall: a major hindrance with Jews in choosing between black and white candidates is the fear that whenever black interests and Jewish interests collide, that the black elected official will side with his own people. Needless to say, no threat of that exists if the elected official is Jewish or Caucasian Gentile. And that was the point of Cohen’s rehashing the “black – Jewish coalition” during the civil rights era, to the point of stating rather hyperbolically “Martin Luther King, Jr. always stood up against anti – Semitism and for Israel” and the utterly ridiculous charge “Obama’s failing to speak out would be like stomping on Goodman and Schwerner’s graves!” Being a well educated black man with strong ties to the civil rights community, Obama needs no history lesson from Cohen, and Cohen knows this. Instead, its purpose was to send a clear message to Jewish Democrats – of which there are not a few especially in the key February 5th Florida primary that will basically make or break Hillary Clinton’s campaign as Nevada is expected to be inconclusive, she is toast in South Carolina and Georgia, and she has been forced to use up her best ammunition (crying, attacks on Obama’s SUPERIOR qualifications) – that the appropriate thing to do is to vigorously support and promote Clinton regardless of what Obama does, and that they can do so without guilt and with demands that there be no recriminations from the black community and demand that our leadership lie down and take its place behind every other coalition on the left (labor, feminists, Jews, environmentalists, homosexuals, atheists) just like always. Well consider that when a lot of prominent Jews such as Lieberman (and Cohen) started opposing affirmative action because blacks were taking too many college spots away from Jews and when they joined the right wing hatemongers to defend Jewish Ivy League student Eden Jacobowitz’s yelling “hey you black water buffalo, if you want to act like animals you should go to the zoo!” at black black students for the “crime” of interrupting his studying, the past sacrifices of those like Goodman and Schwerner were invoked to deal with any guilt over those issues as well.

Third, suppose Obama disavows his church, Farrakhan, or both. First of all, his doing so will not prevent Jewish political leaders from backing Hillary Clinton. Second, and almost as important, it keeps the race issue alive, and that always benefits Hillary Clinton. Doing it in a way that keeps Hillary Clinton out of the picture so that she cannot be accused of race baiting or benefitting from the practice? Even better! And in a manner that will allow the media – especially the many in the media (and have ready access to it) that are supporting Hillary Clinton, like Gloria Steinem, who made the ridiculous claim that wealthy white women like her have had it harder than black men, and got away with it because of black leaders so fear crossing swords with white feminists because they know who will win that battle in the leftist coalition EVERY SINGLE TIME to start the “is Barack Obama black enough?” and to start sticking a microphone in the face of every black primary voter in South Carolina asking “Is Barack Obama a sellout for denouncing the man who led the Million Man March?”

Anything that takes the attention away from the fact that electing Hillary Clinton would mean continuing the past 20 years of this country being governed by utterly corrupt members of the same two families that are actually great friends (please note that Bill Clinton did not prosecute George H. W. Bush over Iran – Contra and that George W. Bush did not prosecute Bill Clinton over Chinagate … if Hillary Clinton gets elected do not think that she will go after George W. Bush over his scandals) and support basically the same policies (click here to read “The Bush-Clinton Dynasty by Chuck Baldwin) is good for Hillary Clinton. So is not talking about how not only did she vote for the Iraq War, but her husband used the same rationale as did George W. Bush – weapons of mass destruction – for bombing Iraq during his impeachment hearings. So is not talking about how she supports the death penalty, three strikes laws, and welfare reform. Or how “the great Clinton economy” was nothing more than companies ripping off hundreds of billions of dollars – much of it retirement fund money – through the stock market on Pets.com schemes, and how the Enron scandal (and remember Enron executives contributed heavily to the Clintons!) actually began during the Clinton administration, and how the current mortgage crisis was created by lenders desperate to recover the capital that they lost when the dot.com bubble (that the Clinton administration encouraged every step of the way and even took credit for helping create) burst. And no, it is not talking about how under the Clinton the September 11th hijackers all entered the country and did their training all while our huge national security apparatus was monitoring them. That was why the attacks were attributed to Al Qaeda almost immediately, long before they took responsibility for them.

This is not to say that Obama would be any better on these or other issues. But these issues are compelling reasons to vote AGAINST Hillary Clinton. Everyone knows that Hillary Clinton will govern just as her husband did. As a matter of fact, she has actually used that fact as a major part of her platform (refusing to acknowledge that her husband is not nearly as popular as is portrayed, with most of his “popularity” due to dislike of the other side). Instead, her message has been “even though I am going to continue the same evil policies that have been disastrous for the country in every way as have my husband and both Bushes since 1988, my being the first female president would make it all different and better!”

The lesson for Christians in this incident is clear: do not be conformed to the world or the ways in it. Else you will be party to its wickedness.

I was surprised to hear about some of the negative and false emails that are making the rounds against my man. Okay, I’m supporting Obama and feel the alternatives are much, much worst. The only consolation I get is in knowing some of the lesser candidates do not stand a chance at the big house, i.e., Huckabee (Chuck Norris is having the time of his life just to rub elbows with someone who can fill-in an application); then Ron Paul (that train has left the station); Dennis “the menace;” I believe his was a half-hearted attempt to avoid oblivion; and the other “also rans.”

What truly scares me are the Brown and Black support for the Ice Queen Hilary. She and Bill will do ANYTHING to get elected, then, back-peddle” when they make a gafew as they are doing over the MLK and “biggest fairy tale” comments that they felt perfectly comfortable making in the first place. Should Hilary make it to the dance; she will be known for two historical feats: The first female president and the first female president to be impeached.

It pleases me and I am secured that God does in fact interject Himself into the affairs of man.

The Clintons have enjoyed the blind devotion of black Americans for far too long. I can’t wait to see what happens in SC. If she secures the nomination, I hope that I will not feel compelled to vote republican in protest.

Thats a viable alternative; however, SC is not the best state to reclaim misplace loyalty. As Bill would say: I feel your pain. Only he would say: Ah ffail yo pane 🙂

    First one on. 🙂

It is going to be interesting to see where things stand just prior to Super Tuesday. Then, the surprise afterwards. Okay, so my boy tried a little pot and blow during his life; it is hard to find someone that hasn’t (cept’n me maybe). AND, I believe that his religous views are probably not so far left he cannot be redeemed.

What I do know is how government operates, up close and personal and that is one reason the current idiots scares the hell out of me. That it will take at least a generation to abate the mess that already is upon us, or, on the way. There are certain little public laws (that we don’t even know about unless one follow closely the congressional record), and executive actions drafted by staffers, then, unwittingly signed by the pres (for no other reason than to appear “smart”). Clinton will sign similar measures because her attention will be focused on making herself rich via all the lobbyist and business interest that have been padding her campaign war chest since day one. No one else in the race really matters. Staffers are the “s” that’s why lobbyist reach the seat of power through them and because they also serve as bagmen.

So, anyone thinking their candidates are going to do any of the things that they say they’re going to do is grossly mistaken. There even are certain executive branch employees that the pres cannot fire. Those staffers with statutorily defined duties have been there before the pres got there and most will be there until they decide to leave. Okay, this and I’m finished: the only way to make candidates live up to their pre-election promises is to have it signed into law, that breaking such promises adjudged a class “A” felony, without the possibility of immunity after leaving office. AND you will not get a single legislator to either introduce or vote for that kind of measure. I maybe cynical but I’m no fool.

    Charles

I hear Huckabee was so after the SC vote that he went on a traveling campaign road trip from Columbia to Charleston catering to folks along the way and talking about things such as “ah know how to eat grits” and “squirrel quesadillas”

Well, the enemy would love to make you so angry that you would go out and do something regrettable. Just keep that in mind :-). I do not know why this surprises anyone, incidentally. Clinton’s mentor was that segregationist governor of Arkansas. Clinton distorted the words of Sister Souljah (who was actually making a very legitimate point) to humiliate Jesse Jackson, and interrupted his presidential campaign to execute a black man who was so mentally incapacitated that he saved his pecan pie from his last meal because he wanted to eat it later. When Clinton was elected, he made a point of not appointing blacks to key Cabinet or federal judiciary posts, and the blacks that he did place in the unimportant jobs were pliant low profile blacks that basically just took marching orders. The best example was taking a glorified administrative assistant, Alexis Herman, and making her secretary of labor. He did it because he had conflicts with the previous secretary of labor and wanted someone that would just do as they were told. When Republicans correctly pointed out that there was nothing in this woman’s background that would qualify her for secretary of labor, they called them racist. (The Republicans were being racist as they were pretty much throughout the 90s in singling out Clinton’s black appointees while largely leaving the white ones alone, but they were right in this instance.) The best part was how in 1996 Clinton invited an overweight black single mother to his welfare bill signing ceremony. The only black person in any position of influence to speak out against it was Juan Williams of Fox News.

And that was Clinton. Al Gore had a long history of opposing civil rights and personally acting bigoted against blacks. Cynthia McKinney told the truth about him. I still remember the BET interview when Ed Gordon asked Gore some tough questions about Clinton’s lack of commitment to affirmative action and inner city spending, Gore got red in the face and blew up the guy, yelling that any blacks that did not appreciate all the great things that he and Clinton were doing for black people were either lazy and wanted a handout or not smart enough to understand their policies. Keep in mind, Jesse Jackson and Al Gore hated each other. Gore sponsored a bill that would allow Bob Jones University and other universities that did not comply with civil rights laws to continue to receive federal grants and financial aid, and was himself a longtime critic of affirmative action and social welfare programs, and promoted three strikes laws. Jackson called Gore “Republican lite” and one of the main reasons why Jackson ran for president in 1988 was to prevent Gore from getting the nomination. Gore returned the favor by blaming Jesse Jackson (and black voters) for Dukakis losing.

The Clintons did their level best to ignore and freeze out the black leadership, but went scurrying back whenever they got in trouble: in 1994 when the Democrats lost Congress, in 1996 when because of all the scandals Clinton was actually losing in the polls (and was bailed out by Ross Perot and Newt Gingrich), and in 1998 impeachment. But Clinton never proposed a single major program to help the black community until after 1998 (a couple of initiatives that were blocked by the Republicans).

There are some other “behind the scenes” stuff that are rumors: Bill Clinton screaming at and humiliating his black aides in temper tantrums, Bill and Hillary both using black employees like Maggie Lewis as fronts to cover for their illegal activities so if anybody went after them they would call them racist, Clinton advisors like Dick Morris claiming that black voters were dumb, emotional, and could be easily deceived, and Bill and Hillary making fun of black leaders behind their backs. Hillary had this thing where she would “talk black” and imitate someone to make fun of them. This almost got out because of a feud between Hillary and Willie Brown, mayor of San Francisco; he was upset because he had endorsed and worked for the Clintons in the past but the Clintons endorsed a white candidate in the mayoral election that they felt would have a shot at the governor’s office or a senate seat one day. Hillary was going around imitating Brown in mock black speak “Hillary wouldn’t endorse me.” Hillary even tried that “black speech” nonsense at a black church last year.

It is amazing what these people get away with. The media doesn’t report it, and the black leaders cover for them. The black leaders are just total jokes. When Maxine Waters was upset at Al Gore during the 2000 presidential race because he wasn’t talking about black issues and made it clear that he was not even going to consider a black running mate and was thinking about getting into the race herself, do you know what it took to make her happy? Gore sent her flowers. That was it. She forgot all about black issues and black political empowerment for flowers. And Cynthia McKinney they shut up with a few threats. And no, the Georgia Democratic Party did not lift a finger to help Cynthia McKinney. Instead, they blamed her for causing them to lose the governor’s office.

Again, the Clintons have been doing this a long time, and blacks just roll over. Even now she has other black leaders like Charlie Rangel being her running boys. Even Michael Eric Dyson, who supports Obama, was selling out when Chris Matthews practically begged him to say that Hillary Clinton was race baiting. (Matthews was a very liberal supporter of civil rights in the Jimmy Carter administration, and has always felt that the Clintons were frauds.) Dyson just said “the Clintons are acting like Republicans.” Even Obama isn’t willing to tell the truth about how dishonest and corrupt the Clintons are, just like the Republicans aren’t willing to talk about Rudy Giuliani’s lawbreaking immorality, Mike Huckabee’s ethics problems, or George W. Bush’s incompetence and criminality. None of them are worth supporting.

Damn you’re well informed. Can you believe that there were Blacks that were almost in tears when Bill and Hillary had to defend themselves about comments they had made. Can you believe that although Hillary comments that LBJ was more responsible for the passage of civil rights legislation than MLK?

Just prior to Bill Clinton’s first term, when Hillary made the “I’m no Taamy Wynette” comment; before she got a perm and was wearing her “trailer park” pony tails and bangs? No a thing has changed except clothes and hair-dos. You have the same mentality, same morals, same red-neck couple they’ve always been and will continue to be. Of course, Bill will deny that he knows anything about Vince Foster’s “suicide.”

Finally, does anyone remember Clinton’s first attorney general from Hillary’s former law firm? Is he still in jail?

    Rostand,

Do you believe God will bless a leader who openly supports homosexuality? God is the only One who can change a corrupt nation.

  14. LorMarie said

    Hi Diane,

I know you were speaking to Rostand but thought I’d chime in. I don’t believe that God views a president who supports homosexuality as any worse than a trigger happy president who is quick to send his nation’s youth to war…but that’s just me. Morality isn’t limited to abortion or homosexuality.

For the record, it is my understanding that Obama is against homosexual marriage. Has anyone heard differently? I could be wrong.

  15. Charles D. said

I have heard Obama with me own ears state that he was against same sex marriages, though, he said it more elegant than I will attempt here.

I don’t know why some feel the need to spread falsehoods about his stance on various issues. One needs look no further than the choices he has made for himself. “As a man speaks, so is he” I am definitely not speaking about anyone who posts here, however, there has been a flurry of email making the rounds spreading false and down right sinful information.

I, for one is secured in my faith to know, that though I am one of his biggest supporters, if he for whatever reason do not win, then, I am confident that God knows best, and whomever, wins the big ticket will rise or fall by hIS Devine Providence, maybe to teach the nation a lesson. If that does happen, it is my personal belief that many by whom the rumors made the the rounds, will wish they had not done so.

  16. That was a thought-provoking article. Barack Hussein Obama’s religious affiliation is getting a pass because he is a leftist media darling. For an interesting look back into BHO’s leftist political past, here’s a link I discovered today. Obama believers need not click on the links to the original sources . It wouldn’t matter to them.

    Charles D.:

Have not followed Obama closely because he supports abortion, which is an automatic disqualifier for me. So asking you since you are more familiar with him: does he oppose gay marriage but support civil unions? If I recall, that is the position of John Kerry and John Edwards, and John Edwards was attacked in the YouTube debate for attributing his opposition to gay marriage to whatever form of Christianity that he claims prevents the state from allowing homosexuals to get married but allows the state to kill babies in the womb.

Ultimately, it does not matter so much what people say during campaign season. What matters is when the bill gets on their desk, what are they going to do. When Bill Clinton was running in 1992, he claimed that he opposed late term abortions and supported parental consent and things like that. But when those bills came to his desk, he vetoed every single one. With Republicans, truthfully a lot of them that claim to be pro – life would never sign a bill outlawing abortion or put the fifth vote against Roe v. Wade on the Supreme Court.

So the question is: if a gay marriage bill came across Barack Obama’s desk, would he sign it? Even if he personally opposed it, unless that opposition is principled when you consider the power of the feminist and gay rights groups in the Democratic Party (as well as the people that support it merely to spite Christianity), well let us just say that he would be expending a lot of political capital, and probably would even draw a primary challenge for re – election.

The same is true for virtually any Republican by the way. George W. Bush actually supports gay rights. He used to party with gay people in college. The only reason why he came out in favor of that anti – gay marriage amendment was because the GOP applied big time pressure on him to. He signed those abortion bills for the same reason, even though the guy has consistently publicly stated every single time that he supports Roe v. Wade, and the conservative media lies in order to keep the evangelicals and Roman Catholics who support him happy.

So … what do you think he would do? And incidentally, I made another post on Obama today. Please read the link also 🙂
