Pat Robertson’s China Bans Visitors To Olympics From Bringing Bibles!

First, see the post

Pat Robertson Promoting The Chinese Government

to see why Pat Robertson endorsing pro – abortion pro – gay rights cross – dressing fascist Rudolph Giuliani is really no surprise. After that, see the video below to see why Pat Robertson’s claims that the persecution that China is placing on its citizens is overstated and misunderstood, and that the gospel is really spreading in STATE APPROVED CHURCHES THAT PREACH A NEW AGE PROSPERITY SELF ESTEEM PURPOSE DRIVEN FALSE GOSPEL THAT DOES NOT EMPHASIZE OR CENTER AROUND JESUS CHRIST!

  1. Of course I don’t like o trust China one bit. But they deny there is a ban, see China denies Bible ban at Olympics.

Now what is interesting is that they say “Each traveller is recommended to take no more than one Bible into China.”.

The reason they say that is BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT ANYONE EVANGELIZING AND GIVING BIBLES OUT. China has potential to have a VAST amount of people accept Christ in the future. A door is open there with people embracing the gospel. The Chinese government would like to shut that door. We know if the Lord opens the door, that government can’t shut it.

The issue as noted is keeping that false prosperity doctrine from being what people in China embrace.

  2. IndependentConservative: Well of course China is going to try to keep their public relations campaign going. The left’s almost unfavorable promotion of that regime in the west is key to their image management in the world and is what has allowed them to get into the World Trade Organization, receive most favored trade nation status, etc. and the media to generally look away while they do whatever they want regarding our economic and military security, including this deal to purchase a satellite company that has a lot of our sensitive commercial and military information in deal brokered by Goldman Sachs, which just HAPPENS to be where our #1 and #2 officials in the Treasury Department used to work. The only negative mention that China ever gets is actually meant to criticize America by way of mentioning things like “like China, America has the death penalty.” So, banning Bibles would force the left to acknowledge China’s repressive nature. As it is, Persecution.org and other entities have been trying to make China’s religious repression an international issue but everyone ignores them. The State Department did put them on their list, but did nothing further, so that allows the left and the media to continue to ignore it. I would not be surprised if Pat Robertson (who will make at least hundreds of millions of dollars by virtue of the Chinese government giving him access to their airwaves) did not call his contacts in Beijing to let them know that they needed to put out a statement denying the story.

As well as the false prosperity doctrine … well the thing is that the doctrine that they preach fall completely within the state’s interest. China has learned that economic aggression using capitalism is superior to military aggression in every way. They have made capitalism an integral part of their communist ideology. Now consider that pure communism originally was not supposed to be militaristic, but the Soviet Union, Castro, Bolivar, Guevara, North Korea, etc. incorporated militarism. So, China has replaced militarism (though they do have a strong army) with capitalism. Hugo Chavez is doing the same, so did Saddam Hussein, and so is Putin’s Russia. (North Korea is sitting on the fence because he is so insane that he will not give up the Soviet dreams as Castro never would, but there are indications that Castro’s brother is going to join their little axis of using capitalism as a weapon.)

But just like the previous regime needed indoctrination to maintain high support for spending all of their money on the military while the citizenry is sick and hungry, China needs a way to keep A) their underclass and middle class happy while working long hours for low pay, and B) their upperclass happy for working long hours – sacrificing their family and and personal interests – and discovering that their career success and money does not give them happiness or meaning. In comes the prosperity doctrine (that not only is prosperity itself but replaces Jesus Christ with the state and is very humanistic as well) to (and I hate this term and never use it but it is appropriate in this sense) to turn the people into “sheeple”! And who better to lead China in this direction than Pat Robertson, who has been doing the same in America for decades? China is building a huge state cult that teaches people to worship themselves, their careers, and money, will motivate them to work very hard to keep their economic engine going, and will NEVER be a threat to the government’s wickedness because God’s demand for righteousness is not a part of it. Do you think that this religion will challenge China’s forced abortion policy, or their huge increase in homosexuality that has caused parts of that nation to be ravaged by AIDS? Nope. And it is interesting to note that Pat Robertson has specifically endorsed the former and has been conspicuously SILENT about the latter.

How Robertson and the Chinese government is using communism, capitalist exploitation, and the prosperity doctrine to deeper enslave that nation politically, economically, and spiritually is something that DOES need to be talked about, you are correct. It just that I had decided to leave Robertson alone and focus on other things until his endorsement of Rudy Giuliani smoked me out.

I can’t believe more people have not posted to this thread. Pat Robertson is so mislead on a number of issues. We all remember his operation blessing planes being loaded up with diamonds from the mines he ownes in Africa. Right now China not only persecutes Christians but also forces a one child policy. I can only imagine the number of abortions that are performed in that country. Also, the organ trade is quite big over there. God forbid your a Christian who has been imprisoned in China. You might wind up with your kidney being harvested.

    Excerpts from post #2

“They have made capitalism an integral part of their communist ideology.”

“They are building a huge state cult that teaches people to worship themselves, their careers, and money, will motivate them to work very hard to keep their economic engine going, and will NEVER be a threat to the government’s wickedness because God’s demand for righteousness is not a part of it.”

“…their underclass and middle class happy while working long hours for low pay, and their upperclass happy for working long hours – sacrificing their family and and personal interests – and discovering that their career success and money does not give them happiness or meaning.”

“…indoctrination to maintain high support for spending all of their money on the military…”

“How Robertson and the government is using communism, capitalist exploitation, and the prosperity doctrine to deeper enslave that nation politically, economically, and spiritually is something that DOES need to be talked about, you are correct.”

I purposely left out references to China in the excerpts. Re-read them; this time replace “they” with “the US.”

    Ecclesiastes 5:8-9.
If oppression of the poor, and violent taking away of judgment and righteousness thou seest in a province, do not marvel at the matter, for a higher than the high is observing, and high ones are over them. 9 And the abundance of a land is for all. A king for a field is served.

    Jonah 2:8
Those observing lying vanities their own mercy forsake.

The operative word here being observing, as in witnessing on a regular basis. Prayer in schools in unconstitutional, but the government listening to phone conversations you had with your mother is okay. Creationism cannot be taught in science classes because it is not a valid theory. You can be arrested and held indefinitely, without ever knowing your transgression. Corporations are real people. The ten commandments (the law) do not belong in courts of law.

Why do we let the media tell us what matters should concern us? It seems to me that things on above list should be of utmost importance. Why the silence? Perhaps silence is a bad word, why the lack of coherent speech? No time for that, did you hear Britney Spears might lose her kids? Paris Hilton is soooo spoiled, and what is up with that lady who is missing? I don’t know but you have GOT to get some of these triple stuffed, fudge covered Oreos, they are so good. Can’t right now, the Bachelor is on. Yay!

Was our ability to comprehend between trivial and meaningful lost in the same heist that robbed us of our moral values? How long before people wake up and realize that they are nothing but a bank account? Who among us is indispensable? Perhaps I ask too much; nobody even realizes that Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year’s, Labor day, etc. have usurped the true holy-days.

A few extras. First to Kyle: I would rather have a kidney harvested than my mind. Also, here is my justification for calling the US a communist state

None is more hopelessly enslaved than he falsely believes he is free. –George Bernard Shaw.

The ten planks of the communist manifesto.

    1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rent to public purpose.

The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes. Also the Bureau of Land Management.

    2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

Misapplication of the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State “income” taxes. We call it “paying your fair share”.

    3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

We call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.

    4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

    We call in government seizures, tax liens, Public “law” 99-570 (1986);

Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of “terrorists” and those who speak out or write against the “government” (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process.

    5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

We call it the Federal Reserve which is a credit/debt system nationally organized by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

    6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the State.

We call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver’s licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

    7. Extention of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

We call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture. As well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Evironmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

    8. Equal liablity of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

We call it the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two “income” family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920’s, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Fedral Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000.

    9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.

We call it the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public “law” 89-136.

    10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.

People are being taxed to support what we call ‘public’ schools, which train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based “Education” .

    Travis,

I agree. But at least we can thank God for small favors. We are at least on the long slow path to communism (Sarcasm).
