Jesus Christ Is Lord

That every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father!

Beware Rapacious Capitalism House Church Movement!

Posted by Job on September 28, 2007

Uh oh home churches, the Satanic forces of mammon have you in their crosshairs! I entreat you, all of you, not to covet any man’s silver or apparel (Acts 20:33) and to fall for nothing that urges you to conform or make accommodation to the ways of the world. Remember: you folks left the church system, the religious culture, to be DIFFERENT. To be SEPARATE. To be HOLY. Do not allow the purveyors of worldliness come in with their carnal junk (see Sex Sells Especially In The Church: Exploiting The Christian Market) designed to appeal to your flesh or worse: “devotionals” and other popular “Christian” books that contain precious little theology (and even that little bit is always WRONG) but plenty of humanistic New Age pyschoanalytical heresies so that they can defile your garments! If you have all this money burning holes through your pockets, use it to support legitimate ministry activities like this one (, and give the rest to the poor. Now on to the article from Ingrid Schlueter’s new weblog (her last one, Slice of Laodicea, the one that first informed me that TD Jakes was a oneness heretic liar, suffered a horrific attack by Satan, but Schlueter is back in business with a new one):

Marketing to the House Church Movement Has Begun

Before my family made the decision to worship at home, “Slice of Laodicea” encouraged me. It was comforting to know that I was not alone in being heartbroken and at times angry at what is happening in churches across this country and worldwide.

It is good to see Ingrid more open to the House Church movement and even concerned that it may be swept up in church fads.
A couple of years ago, she was more skeptical (understandably so), but now speaks more positively about it. She has been mightily used by the Lord to strengthen His servants. May the Lord raise up many more.

  2. Rapacious – now that’s a word I don’t encounter every day but is certainly appropriate. God speed and thanks for the warning.
