Demons: Our Invisible Enemies

Posted by Job on March 31, 2007

The following is a brief excerpt from the Derek Prince book, “Lucifer Exposed: The Devil’s Plan To Destroy Your Life. Technorati tag:

In 1963, the first year I was in the United States, I was invited to become pastor of a Pentecostal congregation in Seattle, Washington. The invitation said that all twelve members of the board had unanimously agreed to invite me. So my wife, Lydia, and I packed up our belongings and took the journey to Seattle from Minneapolis (where we lived at the time).  When we arrived in Seattle, I discovered the twelve members of the board were the only people left who still attended on Sundays! Furthermore, after just one month, all of them had resigned except one. My wife and I found ourselves in the midst of an extraordinary situation. This congregation had once been filled with a couple hundred very good Pentecostals, baptized in the Spirit. They wanted to do right; they were not a bunch of wicked backsliders. As I met them, they were respectful toward me, but it was like they were dazed. It didn’t matter what I did or said, there was no real response. It was a baffling situation.

Lydia was a tremendous woman of prayer. Together, we prayed, “God, You’ve got to show us what’s wrong with these people.” The Lord clearly directed me to Galatians 3:1 – “Who has bewitched you?” Reading that passage really challenged my theology. I thought, Pentecostals? Tongue – speaking, water – baptized believers-bewitched? This called for further investigation.

I found out the wife of the previous pastor had fallen in love with one of the board members – and he with her. The wife divorced the pastor, the board member divorced his wife and the two married. That pastor moved out of the area, and his ex – wife became, in effect, the new pastor of the church – until I arrived. This woman seemed to control the congregation just with her eyes. I was told afterwards that every time there was an issue in the church, she would say, “Now, how many of you are for me? Put your hand up.” Anybody who didn’t raise his or her had got one of her penetrating stares. She had the people mesmerized.

Once Lydia and I had identified the problem, we immediately knew we were to enter into prayer. As a result, some wonderful things happened in that congregation. That experienced opened a whole new dimension of the spirit realm to me in a very personal way. When Paul said, “Who has bewitched you?” he wasn’t just using a figure of speech. Paul was talking about a spiritual reality.

It is a very dangerous situation to have powerful and active enemies working against you and not even be aware of those enemies. As Christians, the enemies we face are not persons of flesh and blood; they are invisible spirit beings. The themes we are going to deal with in this book concern matters that are not discerned by human senses. The Bible speaks about things “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man (I Corinthians 2:9). These things are invisible and spiritual. They are only understood through the Scriptures. There is no other source of reliable information.

Is It The Will Of God To Heal? To Heal All Who Come? Only To Heal Some?

Posted by Job on March 31, 2007

Or is sickness sometimes the Will of God?

This devotional is from the late missionary Derek Prince.

Let’s approach these questions in a logical manner. Before I became a preacher, I was a logician. I believe the Bible to be the most perfectly logical book in the world. And God wants us to be logical in applying its truth. Suppose you said, “I believe my sickness is God’s Will for me. It is a blessing.” Well, then, please be logical. Don’t try to get rid of God’s blessing. Cultivate it. If God has placed sickness upon you to do you good, then you are wroing to seek to get rid of that sickness. If it is God’s will for a Christian to be sick, then it is sinful for him to try to be healed. Let’s discover the three main ways in which God’s Will concerning healing is revealed in His Word: (1) by the nature of God; (2) by Jesus’ ministry; and (3) by Christ’s atonement.

Revealed By The Nature Of God

Read with me the incident that took place at the time Israel was coming out of Egypt into the wilderness in Exodus 15:23-26. (23) Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bittere. Therefore the name of it was called Marah [which is the Hebrew word for “bitter”]. (24) And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” (25) So he cried out to the Lord; and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them, (26) and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

I n Hebrew, the last phrase, “who heals you” is a single word. It literally means “your doctor.” In other words, God said to Israel, “I am Jehovah, your doctor.” This revelation was given, not because Israel sought it, but because God desired them to receive it. It was the revelation of the eternal nature and will of God for His people.

Notice God’s promise began with an “if.” God said, “I am your doctor, and will continue to be your doctor, provided you meet certain conditions.” The first condition is the basic and primary condition for receiving healing from God all through Scripture. It is, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God.” The literal Hebrew phrase is, “If listening you will listen …” It repeats the verb “to listen.”

Do you ever listen to God wiht the right ear and to the devil with the left? God’s Word and the devil’s lies meet in the middle of your head, and the result is confusion. “To listen, listening” means to give your undivided attention to God’s Word. He says, “If you will listen, listening, I am your doctor permanently.” What a beautiful promise!

Twelve centuries later, God said to Israel to Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I do not change.” Continuing on in the New Testament, we read: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, wiht whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (James 1:17). God never varies and never changes his mind. He has moods. And He says, “I am your doctor.” He was and is and will be. God’s nature never changes.

Revealed by Jesus’ Ministry

To me, the clearest summary of the ministry of Jesus is given in Acts 10:38. It says: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Notice all three Persons of the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – are united in the ministry of healing. God the Father anointed Jesus the Son with the Holy Spirit. The Son went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Healing is of God. Sickness is of the devil. This is very, very clear. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are united in bringing healing to suffering humanity.

The earthly ministry of Jesus was the revelation of God’s Will in action. In John 6:38 He said, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent me.” There is no record in the Scriptures that Jesus ever turned away any person who came to Him for healing. There were those who did not come and, therefore, did not get healed. But everyone who came to Him was healed. He never said, “It is not the will of God … There is a reason for your sickness that I cannot change … You have been sick too long …” Every person who came to Jesus for healing was healed.

Revealed by Christ’s Atonement

Isaiah 53:4-5 contains the Bible’s most complete description of the atonement of Jesus:
(4) Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we were esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. (5) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Were the New King James version uses the English words griefs and sorrows, the literal Hebrew translation is “sicknesses” and “pains.” God’s provision for these conditions is “healing.” In describing the ministry of Jesus, Matthew writes: “They brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses'” (Matthew 8:16-17). Isaiah’s prophecy was fulfilled. Jesus “healed all who were sick.”

Old and New Testaments unite in this clear testimony: On the cross Jesus took our sicknesses, He bore our pains; and by the wounds inflicted on His physical body, physical healing was obtained for us. Is healing the will of God? Yes! Hear Jesus declare it from the cross in John 19:30, “It is finished!” All we have to do is receive it. Technorati tag:

Quitting Is Never An Option, Christians!

Posted by Job on March 31, 2007

Quitting, giving up, turning back is not an option.  Have you ever come to a place where you were tired of fighting life’s battles, things weren’t working out the way you had hoped or expected and you simply said “This Jesus thing just isn’t working.”  How about coming to that place where you heard what God said on a specific subject and decided that you didn’t agree with Him and made the choice to reject God and do it your way.  Has there
ever been a time when you wanted to quit following Christ and go back to your old life?

The reality is, this is the exact place MANY come to at some point in their journey with the Lord.  Based on the emails I get each day, I know there are people reading these words this very moment that are at that EXACT place. Each week we add approx. 8,000 new subscribers to the Daily Devotional. Each week we also see appox 4,000 leave the Daily Devotional.  In well over 80% of the cases where people unsubscribe, they tell me they don’t agree with what God’s Word says on issues like faith in Christ being the ONLY way to be saved, the sin of homosexuality, that abortion is murder, that all sex outside of marriage is a sin, that living together without being married is not God’s plan, and any other issue you can name.  They make the choice to quit following Jesus.

(Note:  This is the exact reason so many pastors refuse to deal with the critical issues of life.  They don’t want to “offend” anyone for fear of losing people in their church and money in their treasury.  So they compromise and stay away from the real issues of life and preach a “feel good,” watered down Gospel, being careful to never talk about sin.  This “positive mental attitude Gospel” sounds nice but unless a person accepts the fact they are a sinner, the Holy Spirit convicts them of their sin, they repent and ask the Lord to forgive them, and then invite Him into their heart and life by faith, they are being duped into believing they are going to heaven by gutless pastors who are more worried about the applause (and $$$) of men than the applause of God!

In today’s anchor verses from the 6th Chapter of John’s Gospel, we have the Biblical account of people who were following Jesus, but after hearing Him preach on an issue they didn’t agree with, “many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed Him.”  In the Book of Acts we hear of a man who was part of Paul’s ministry named Demas (Colossians 4:14).  We hear of Demas again in 2 Timothy 4 when Paul states, “For Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me.”  I remember many years ago preaching a message on
Demas and in preparing that message, literally breaking down in tears reading that verse in 2 Timothy 4 about Demas turning his back on the Lord’s work to go back into the world.  How sad for someone to come to the place, for whatever reason, that they quit Jesus.

*Sadly, every day many pastors and people who are in full-time service to the Lord make the decision to leave the ministry.  This is a HUGE issue that is rarely talked about or discussed.  I will address it soon.

This, of course, brings into play the great theological debate regarding eternal security.  I am not going to go into depth on this issue today, though I will soon to help those who may be confused about what God’s Word teaches regarding if it is possible for someone to lose their salvation. You are free to believe whatever you want about this issue, but the Bible is clear that if you are truly saved by faith in Christ you will always be saved.  Choosing to turn your back on the Lord ruins your joy, robs you of your peace, and causes you to miss the abundance of this life, but you don’t lose your salvation.  Salvation is a product of your faith in Jesus and God’s grace, period.  Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God withdraws His grace, which by definition is His unmerited favor, or something you did
nothing to earn in the first place.  The real key to this issue, something only God knows for certain, is did the person really accept the Lord into their heart and life by faith to begin with.

The thing I have always loved about Peter was that he was a very bottom line kind of guy.  He was never shy about stating his opinion, and more often than not that opinion was inspired by God Himself.  Here again we see Peter rise to the occasion when Jesus asked the 12 disciples if they too were going to leave.  Peter boldly proclaimed, “To whom shall we go?”  For those of you today who are discouraged, thinking about quitting, giving up, turning back, let me ask you the same question Peter did, “WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO GO?”

I love you and care about you so much.  You really only have two options, you stick it out with Jesus or you got to satan.  There is no other choice. You either follow Jesus or you follow satan.  Satan is a liar and his goal is to kill, steal, and destroy.  By following satan you will spend all eternity in the Lake of Fire, a place specially created by God for satan and his fallen angels.  God is Truth.  God wants you to know His peace and joy and the abundance of this life.  He loves you unconditionally.  He sent Jesus to die for your sins so that you could spend all eternity with Him. As Peter correctly told Jesus, “You have the words of eternal life.”

I will be praying for you today.  Praying that the next time you get discouraged, the next time you get weary from fighting life’s battles, the next time you start thinking how things aren’t working out the way you hoped in your life, you will remember the words of Peter, “WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO GO?”  The only place to go is to satan.  Do you really want to go back to the way your life used to be before you started to follow Jesus?  My friend, the Lord is your only real hope and your only real answer for this life and
all eternity.  The trials and tribulations we face are all part of living in this fallen world infested by sin.  But take comfort today from the words of Jesus when He told his disciples just hours before going to the cross, “Be of good cheer, for I have overcome this world!”

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

“Virtual Church” For The BBC: I Keep Thinking of “The Image Of The Beast” For Some Reason

Posted by Job on March 30, 2007

See link here. For a guy whose education is engineering and profession is computers, I am surprisingly averse to technology. Even admitting that, this stuff still gives me the creeps. Maybe it is all of those Christian films on the endtimes that I have seen.

“You enter by selecting how you want your cartoon ‘avatar’ (or character) to look – hairstyle, shape of nose, skin colour and clothes,” explains Simon Jenkins, a member of the St Pixels development team. “You can even wear sunglasses or smoke a pipe.”

From avatar – “the descent of a deity to the earth in an incarnate form or some manifest shape; the incarnation of a god.”

“The full 3D environment is on its way – but the St Pixels team are aware of unsatisfying experiments conducted on 3D “superworld” – Second Life.”

“It’s very easy to do either chaos or dictatorship on the internet, but Christian community calls for something more subtle,” explains Mark Howe. Technology and spirituality need to interact at every stage in the development process.”

Alabama Is The State That Knows The Most About The Bible

Posted by Job on March 30, 2007

See link here. So many churches have abandoned even the pretense of Bible teaching these days that we should not be surprised. It is a real scandal in the modern church; what are these people doing? We spend all of our money and time, and people can’t even name 4 of the Ten Commandments, think that Joan of Arc was Noah’s wife, can’t name the writers of two of the gospels, and other basic things?

A Statue Of Jesus’ Crucifixion Made Out of Chocolate Offends Catholics

Posted by Job on March 30, 2007

See link here. What is the problem here? That it is made out of chocolate? What makes chocolate any better or worse than stone, wax, iron, bronze, etc.? That he is nude and anatomically correct? So was Michelangelo’s masterpiece “David”, which I have always found to be … oh never mind. Further, did not the scriptures say, or at least imply, that Yeshua HaMashiach died naked on the cross? We know that they took his robe and gambled for it, and though Christ is traditionally depicted as having a loincloth – type undergarment on, I really do not believe that they wore underwear back then. So, if you are a fundamentalist who believes in a literal interpretation of the Bible …

So, what’s the problem? I gotta be honest here: the Bible says NO GRAVEN IMAGES. That means IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT THE GRAVEN IMAGES ARE MADE OUT OF. Now I gotta admit, this topic causes much conflict within me, because I am a big supporter of art, especially art made by Christians. Not that I am much into art myself (what can I say, I’m a computers/engineering guy, so sue me), but I heavily support Christians making art in theory even if I do not much appreciate it, because I know that God loves and supports it. But does MAKING a statue of Yeshua HaMashiach, angels, etc. constitute idolatry, or suborning idolatry? (Muslims seem to think so, and to VIOLENTLY adhere to it.) But one thing that I KNOW is idolatry: praying to Mary (whom Catholics DENY SCRIPTURE BY FALSELY CLAIMING THAT SHE WAS BORN SINLESS AND REMAINED A VIRGIN), claiming that MARY and NOT THE RUACH HAKADOSH is the intercessor, worshipping Peter and the pope by claiming them infallible (though Peter sinned by mistreating Gentile Christians who came to his home and had to be rebuked by Paul, whom Catholics seem to basically ignore), elevating people to “sainthood” and praying to them and angels, praying to and worshipping icons, burning candles (A PRACTICE THAT CAME DIRECTLY FROM THE PAGAN RELIGIONS THAT THE ROMANS WERE WORSHIPPING, NOT FROM JUDAISM), etc.

So let me tell you  and the rest of you Catholic League types; I don’t like stuff like this, , or the “Virgin” Mary covered in elephant dung and “Yo Mama’s Last Supper” by the blasphemous “artist” , either. (And yes, I am fully aware of the argument that we are dead to the law, which is where the “no graven images” prohibition came from.) But I urgently ask you, fellow Catholics, to search the scriptures and look within your hearts to see whether your sins are greater than theirs.

Televangelist’s Second Appearance On Howard Stern’s Show A Success!

Posted by Job on March 30, 2007

***TODAY, I AM DOING SOMETHING THAT I HAVE NEVER DONE IN NEARLY 8 YEARS OF LIVEPRAYER!!!  I’ve told you often that satan is very predictable.  I had NO
DOUBT that after the incredible door God opened to share His Truth and the hope of Christ with Howard Stern’s audience for an hour Monday night, satan was going to be coming hard.  What happened Monday night was the equivalent of preaching the Gospel in a Mosque, in a strip club, in a packed nightclub on a Saturday night.  It was literally walking into satan’s house, eating the food out of his refrigerator, sitting in his favorite chair, and watching his television.

I spent Wednesday fasting and took several hours that evening when I would normally be sleeping to go into my prayer closet.  I was not only praying for God’s protection from whatever attacks we would be experiencing, but as I have been praying for months now, for God to give us the breakthrough we need to get the TV program back on across this country before that door slams shut.  I have been praying specifically for God to bring one person along side who has the $5 million we need to sustain the program for 6 months so that it can than live on its own, or to bring me one person who has the vision and burden for what we are doing, and the ability, gifts, and connections to put together a group who can give the $5 million we need.

I know God has someone reading this today who either has the personal resources to meet this need, or the ability to put together a group of people who do.  I have been praying for that person to step up and let God use them in a way that will literally impact tens of millions of lives across the nation, and could even be the vehicle to bring true revival to this nation and cause us to repent and turn back to God!   That is what this is about.  Not a TV program, but a vehicle to reach the nation with His Truth and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ!

Wednesday night, we had 3 of our mail servers literally die within 10 minutes of each other.  It caused incredible delays in getting the Thursday Daily Devotional out.  I am not surprised since that Thursday Devotional was one of the most passionate and Spirit-led I have ever written in sharing what my life and Livepayer is all about…SAVING SOULS!  After much prayer, the Holy Spirit has led me to do something I have never done in nearly 8 years, and that is repeat the next day the previous days Devotional.

However, what I want you to do today is pray, really pray, before you read these words.  It is no accident you are reading them again!  Ask God to open your spiritual eyes.  I don’t want you to just read the words, but HEAR MY HEART as I pour it out to you in the words  There is a lost world out there, with people dying and going to hell every second.  Many of these people are perishing for all eternity needlessly, simply because nobody ever really reached out to them and invaded their life and told them there are answers,
there is hope in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

This message is not about a trip to New York City, or doing an hour radio special on Howard Stern’s Sirius Satellite Radio channel, or a nationwide TV program.  THIS MESSAGE IS ABOUT REACHING THE LOST SOULS WE HAVE BEEN COMMANDED BY GOD TO BRING THE GOSPEL TO!  So I am begging you, please, take 10 minutes, stop what you are doing, pray and ask God to open your heart, and hear HIS VOICE in these words.  Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.  Thank you for standing with me as we boldly, visibly, and without shame take Christ to this nation!!!!

“Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.’ ”  John 4:35

Into the lion’s den.  This is going to be a little different Devotional
today than most days.  It is more a collection of my personal thoughts about
my trip to New York City, the Liveprayer special on Howard Stern’s Sirius
Satellite Radio channel, and God’s calling on my life.  Please pray, and
open your heart as you read these words today.  What I am sharing with you
really encapsulates  the whole vision of what Liveprayer is about and the
vision God has given me for His work here.  I can tell you this, I have come
back from NYC and the Stern experience even more focused, more sold out and
fired up about what God has called me to do with my life .  The past few
days were God’s clear affirmation on all that we have done through
Liveprayer for nearly 8 years now and the green light to move forward in
bringing His Truth to the masses and the hope of Christ to the lost and

Let me start first with my reflections on being in New York City.  Twenty
years ago when I was running from God, I made many trips to NYC for business
and pleasure.  This was my first trip to NYC since going into the ministry.
Obviously, I had a whole new perspective and saw things with a very
different mindset.  My wife and I flew to NYC on Saturday evening and were
blessed to be staying at the Trump International at Central Park.  I
remember getting up early Sunday and looking out over Central Park, watching
the tens of thousands of people in the park walking, running, riding their
bikes, and walking their dogs.  For a second, God gave me “spiritual eyes,”
and instead of seeing tens of thousands of people, I saw tens of thousands
of souls!  So many of them simply living their lives oblivious to the fact
that they would die one day soon and spend eternity in hell.

How sad and how unnecessary.  Jesus already paid the price for the sins of
all mankind.  Watching the throngs of people in Central Park that Sunday
morning, my heart was breaking knowing so many of them would perish for all
eternity when they could just as easily be heading towards a mansion in
Glory when their life here is over.  Some, of course, have heard and
rejected God’s love.  Many have bought the lies of different false
religions, cults, and New Age philosophies.  However, there were so many who
have simply never clearly heard that Jesus loves them, died for their sins,
and has a wonderful plan and purpose for their life.  Every day, so many
people die and go to hell needlessly because they have simply never been
confronted and challenged and given the opportunity to commit their lives to

Sunday night my wife and I went to dinner and we had to drive through Times
Square.  As we sat in the taxi, crawling along Broadway inch by inch, I was
mesmerized by the endless attempts to get my attention.  A 50 foot picture
of P-Diddy advertising his clothing line.  Huge billboards advertising
Broadway shows and the newest movies.  Huge lit banners promoting Sony,
Nike, Revlon, and scores of other products.  Several 20-30 foot TV monitors
playing ads for cars, jeans, alcohol, and various TV programs.  It was
actually sensory overload as these Madison Avenue creations were all
competing for the hundreds of thousands of eyeballs in Times Square.

As I sat there taking it all in, something was clearly missing in all of
these images.  Glaringly absent was any message that when you are hurting,
dealing with life’s problems, there are answers and hope in Jesus.  THERE
ANSWER!  P-Diddy won’t save anyone’s soul.  Sony won’t save your marriage.
Nike isn’t going to help you find freedom from some addiction.  Versace
wants to take your money not help you when you need to pay your mortgage.
Chivas Regal is not the answer you need.  Where is the vision of the Body of
Christ?    In the midst of all the bright lights, the billboards, the modern
day electronics, the only real hope and answer for people’s lives WAS

( I assure you, one day VERY SOON, Liveprayer WILL have a very visible
presence in Times Square and Jesus will be represented!!!)

Monday afternoon, I had the joy of spending some time with a man who is part
of the Liveprayer family who has sacrificed greatly to help us reach the
lost and hurting people around the world we do each day.  His office was on
5th Avenue across from St. Patrick’s Cathedral.  I mentioned to him that St.
Pat’s would be an incredible place to open up during the day and night and
hold a great revival.  What a wasted facility.  Again, as we talked, I
looked at the teeming masses down on 5th Avenue, seeing lost souls, not
people.  So many lost souls on a conveyor belt to hell, many oblivious of
what awaits them when they take their last breath.  I told my friend that
while it is great we go to foreign countries to bring those people the
Gospel, we don’t need to go any further than next door to reach the lost for
Christ.  I’ve stated before, the greatest mission field in 2007 is not some
remote jungle or isolated country, but right here in the United States!

The hour special on Howard Stern’s Sirius Satellite Radio channel Monday
night was exactly what I expected, and other than having two of the people
live in the studio with me, pretty much what I deal with each night on the
Liveprayer TV program.  If you have not heard the program, the audio for the
hour special is located at:   In the
aftermath of the program, we received over 2200 emails for prayer, 80% were
from people who were seriously looking for prayer, counsel and guidance.  We
had 5 people we know of pray with me at the end of the program to accept the
Lord.  One person summed it up pretty well when he stated” When I heard that
Howard Stern let a man preach the Bible and Jesus to his audience I knew
hell had just frozen over and there had to be a God!”

In the end, Stern and his audience are all just people.  Clearly many have
thoroughly rejected God’s Truth and Christ’s love, but they still have
problems, trials, issues like all people do.  In their time of need, many
are willing to reach out.  I was there to do what I do every day here on and on the TV program each night, reach the masses with God’s
Truth and the lost and hurting to let them know they are not alone, someone
cares,  and there is hope.  One of Stern’s regulars who was with me in the
studio was a man they call “Jeff the drunk.”  Jeff had a car accident years
ago and lost the use of his right arm.  Every day Jeff drinks and smokes pot
and is literally floating through life until he dies.

After Jeff got past his persona and I was able to get him to really open up
(Howard actually called in and was supportive of Jeff reaching out.  That
was one of the amazing moments of the hour.), he admitted he would love to
be a carpenter.  I got all of Jeff’s information after the program.  He
actually lives in E. Berne, outside of Albany, New York.  I have made it my
mission to get Jeff into some sort of carpenter’s apprentice program in
Albany and plugged into a church that will truly reach out to him and help
him find the hope he needs each day to turn his life around.  So if anyone
in the Liveprayer family is in the Albany area, please let me know (email me
at: ).

The rest of the program consisted of a man who had a sex change operation
and clearly had no desire to change his very confused life and a prostitute
from Montana who thinks she is the Messiah and was also not interested in
any real help. They were both part of Howard’s infamous “Wack Pack.”  The
phone calls were across the board, no different than what I get every night
on the TV program.   One that stood out said he had called to make fun of
the program but after hearing Jeff and the fact we were gong to try and help
him turn his life around, decided not to.  I closed the program like I do my
TV program every night, asking people to think about their eternal souls and
giving them the opportunity to accept the Lord as their personal Savior by
faith.  All in all, it was a great hour and the name of Jesus was lifted up
and glorified!

I love you and care about you so much.  This was a powerful weekend for me
personally.  As motivated and pumped up as I am every day to do all God has
called me to do, I came back Tuesday even more fired up.  I didn’t think was
possible.  I have an even greater sense of urgency in what we are doing in
these last days.  Having literally seen the lost masses I speak of so often,
it has given me a greater passion and desire to reach those who are hurting
and will die and spend eternity in hell without the Lord.  I have the
answers they are searching for, God’s Word, and I can point them to the hope
they want, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Getting the TV program back on nationwide before that door closes for good
is my number one priority right now.  As I shared with you last week, the
deal with the group in California is dead.  They were supposed to have
raised the money by the end of January. I gave them until the end of
February and they were not successful, so I executed my “out” clause for
non-performance, realizing this must not have been part of God’s plan for
us.  By far the best plan and only legitimate nationwide secular broadcast
distribution option for the program is on the “i” Network.

We have worked out a rate of apx $36,000 a program, which to reach 90
million of the 100 million TV households in the nation for an hour on major
broadcast stations in the top 25 markets and many more, plus cable and
satellite, is a very reasonable price.  To do the program for 6 months would
cost us $4.6 million in airtime and $400,000 in productions costs. Bottom
line, only $5 million dollars to reach the nation for an hour a day, 5 days
a week, for 26 weeks!  Some companies spend that on a single high profile ad
campaign, many people spend that on the things of this world that they will
ultimately leave behind.

Pray that we can find the right person or group who will give us the $5
million we need to get the program back on nationwide.  It would only take a
small group of men and women God has blessed financially to do it.  Pray
that the Lord will bring the right company or business who could benefit
from advertising to the Liveprayer TV and Internet audience and has the
resources and vision to be part of this unique move of God to bring His
Truth and the hope of Christ to a nation who so desperately needs Him today.
In the world’s economy, $5 million is very little.  Having just come back
from New York City, there are tens of thousands of individuals and
businesses who could write a $5 million dollar check and never miss it.
There are people reading these words right now who have the ability to write
a check for that amount.  Please pray about who you know who might be able
to help me.

I am convinced that if we can have an unabated run of 6 months, we will have
the ratings and attract the attention necessary to bring on board the right
commercial sponsors who will see the great value in reaching the Liveprayer
TV and Internet audience to keep the program going long term.  The biggest
problem in TV is finding a program people will watch.  We have a very unique
problem, since we have created a very successful program that people love,
but due to the content (the Biblical worldview I take), we have to find the
right companies who care about seeing the Kingdom advanced, have the money,
and almost as important the guts to stand with me.

Nearly 20 years ago, I started out my walk of faith in serving the Lord.
God equipped and called me as a 21st century prophet to use the Internet,
secular television to bring the lost and hurting masses His Truth and hope.
I don’t have buildings, or mansions, or airplanes like so many who were
chronicled in that 20/20 piece last week.  You see, I am not interested in
raising money for the things of this world that will one day be gone, but in
using the resources of this world to see lost souls rerouted from
everlasting damnation to everlasting life though faith in Jesus Christ.  God
let me physically see those lost souls last weekend, He let me go into the
lion’s den and come out victorious, and it has only made me more determined
to bring Jesus to this lost world until I take my last breath and He calls
me home!!!

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller
