Ravi Zacharias and Jack Hayford Joined Noted Pulpit Pimps John Hagee, TD Jakes And Joyce Meyer To Pull Off Pray For Peace Of Jerusalem Event!
Posted by Job on October 6, 2008
Two cannot walk together unless they be agreed.
Major Global Prayer Initiative for Jerusalem Peace Begins
Millions of Christians from around the world are expected to take part in the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem on Sunday. The annual event, observed each year on the first Sunday of October, boasts support from many prominent Christian leaders including T.D. Jakes, Jack Hayford, John Hagee, Sunday Adeleja, Ravi Zacharias, Michael W. Smith, and Joyce Meyer.
These leaders and thousands of others have signed a document calling for global prayer for Jerusalem and all its inhabitants. ”As Christians and believers in the Word of God, we have a responsibility to pray for the peace of Jerusalem,” wrote Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries. (As Christians, you are also supposed to discern who you pray WITH.)
“America and Israel have been friends and allies for many years now and today we must continue to stand in support of Israel,” she added. “As the body of Christ we must ask God to bring them not only peace in the natural, but also peace spiritually through relationship with Jesus Christ.” (So Joyce Meyer is now among those claiming that our temporal political alliances are spiritual aims of the eternal kingdom of heaven. In other words, typical religious right ideas that are quite frankly not much different from the left wing flavor of amillennialism, the social gospel.)
The prayer initiative takes its calling from Psalm 122:6. which states: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’” (So are we to fulfil that scripture by praying with occultists, Satanists, Hindus, and Buddhists? Or only with other Christians? And are we to make a big political and media spectacle of obeying scripture? Or did not Jesus Christ say that such smacked of Phariseeism?)
Besides the event in Jerusalem and in local churches worldwide, the DPPJ will also feature a 24-hour global prayer conference on Sunday. Last year, more than 700 people dialed-in from 14 nations to the prayer line to unite in intercession for Israel.
“To pray for the peace of Jerusalem is to pray, ‘Lord, let your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth, not only in the ultimate revelation of His King coming from Heaven, but in the present revelation of God’s peace as it comes into our hearts in a troubled world, to bring to the heartbeat center of the world, something of a peace that alleviates the tensions, the hatred, the bombings, the torments,” wrote Dr. Jack Hayford, co-chairman of the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.
This year, more than 200,000 churches in 175 nations will participate in the largest Israel-focused prayer event in history, according to the DPPJ Web site. The Jerusalem Celebration will be broadcasted live across 192 nations through GOD TV. (Please note: GOD TV was the Todd Bentley promotion central channel)

Freddy’s Fashion Mart Christian Zionist Style: Did John Hagee’s Political Activism Incite Attack On Dayton Ohio Mosque?

Soli Dei Gloria has it. Muslim Children Harmed at Dayton Mosque After “Obsession” DVD Hits Ohio
What a disturbing news story. I never thought to see this type of stuff happening here in the US again: I witnessed the civil rights era on nightly news broadcasts, and in my own ‘backyard’, in the early 60’s…and thought those kind of evil inhumane actions were a thing of the past, especially when coming from segments of US society, not just individuals. Guess I’m either naive or stupid. Perhaps the biggest surprise, personally, is this story comes from a region of the country I’ve lived in all my life: the tri-state area, made up of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. These are my neighbors.
Some background first…
I first became aware of the DVD, mentioned in the news story, being re-distributed and advertised in local newspapers a couple weeks ago when reading at Bill White’s blog, Soul Refuge: RADICAL ISLAM DVD IN MY SUNDAY NEWSPAPER?
Quote..
Here are two images of the DVD that I found in my Sunday newspaper yesterday. Is this a propaganda technique being used by some people to influence the vote before the election?
And then in a news item at AlterNetNews: Newspapers in Swing States Are Delivering Anti-Islam DVDs to Voters
Quote..
Millions of voters in U.S. states crucial to this fall’s presidential election received DVD copies of a controversial documentary film as advertising inserts in their morning newspapers over the past week, with more expected to be sent out over the upcoming weekend.
Quote..
The 2006 film, Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West, which has been accused by critics of encouraging Islamophobia, was reportedly delivered, or slated for delivery this weekend, into tens of millions of households in states such as Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Colorado, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Missouri and other “swing states” that don’t vote consistently for either party and usually decide elections.
Gregory Ross, the spokesman for the Clarion group, which produced and is distributing the DVD, told the Harrisburg Patriot-News that the movie was being delivered to 28 million homes throughout the month of September..
The only thing which surprised me about the re-distribution of this film now, prior to an election, wasn’t that its being used for political reasons, but ‘who’ helped finance its re-distribution into 28 million homes..
From We The People:
At least part of the mailing was sent under the postal permit of Christians United for Israel, (CUFA) a leading Christian Zionist organization. Which also seems to have promoted the DVD on This book by David Brog, interesting enough the foreword is by John Hagee…
What have we come to in this nation folks? Are we becoming a nation which is producing our own breed of ‘terrorists’, those, who for the sake of trying to win an election are willing to stir up hatred?
I’m disgusted at this story below…and I’m horrified to think that this video being re-distributed ‘might’ have had something to do with this action: ESPECIALLY knowing some group which calls itself ‘Christian’, headed up by apostate John Hagee, helped get it into the hands of radical nuts.

TalkToAction: Muslim Children Gassed at Dayton Mosque After “Obsession” DVD Hits Ohio
Quote..
On Friday, September 26, the end of a week in which thousands of copies ofObsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West — the anti-Muslim documentary being distributed by the millions in swing states via DVDs inserted in major newspapers and through the U.S. mail — were distributed by mail in Ohio, a “chemical irritant” was sprayed through a window of the Islamic Society of Greater Dayton, where 300 people were gathered for a Ramadan prayer service….
I read the story as reported by the Dayton Daily News, but this was after I had received an email written by a friend of some of the victims..
I asked the email’s author for permission to share what they had written. The author was with one of the families from the mosque — a mother and two of the small children who were in the room:
“She told me that the gas was sprayed into the room where the babies and children were being kept while their mothers prayed together their Ramadan prayers. Panicked mothers ran for their babies, crying for their children so they could flee from the gas that was burning their eyes and throats and lungs. She grabbed her youngest in her arms and grabbed the hand of her other daughter, moving with the others to exit the building and the irritating substance there.
“The paramedic said the young one was in shock, and gave her oxygen to help her breathe. The child couldn’t stop sobbing.
“This didn’t happen in some far away place — but right here in Dayton, and to my friends. Many of the Iraqi refugees were praying together at the Mosque Friday evening. People that I know and love.
“I am hurt and angry. I tell her this is NOT America. She tells me this is not Heaven or Hell — there are good and bad people everywhere.
“She tells me that her daughters slept with her last night, the little one in her arms and sobbing throughout the night. She tells me she is afraid, and will never return to the mosque, and I wonder what kind of country is this where people have to fear attending their place of worship?
“The children come into the room, and tell me they want to leave America and return to Syria, where they had fled to from Iraq. They say they like me, … , and other American friends — but they are too afraid and want to leave. Should a 6 and 7 year old even have to contemplate the safety of their living situation?
“Did the anti-Muslim video circulating in the area have something to do with this incident, or is that just a bizarre coincidence? Who attacks women and children?
“What am I supposed to say to them? My words can’t keep them safe from what is nothing less than terrorism, American style. Isn’t losing loved ones, their homes, jobs, possessions and homeland enough? Is there no place where they can be safe?
“She didn’t want me to leave her tonight, but it was after midnight, and I needed to get home and write this to my friends. Tell me — tell me — what am I supposed to say to them?”
“She told me that the gas was sprayed into the room where the babies and children were being kept while their mothers prayed together their Ramadan prayers. When acting as a representative of Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), the 501(c)3 non-profit organization that I work for, I cannot engage in political activities. The distribution ofObsession, however, although a political campaign scheme, clearly crosses over into the mission of MRFF. So, I’m going to make two statements here — one in my capacity as MRFF’s Research Director, and another as an individual whose disgust at the vile campaign tactics of John McCain’s supporters completely boiled over when I opened up the email about children being gassed.
My statement as MRFF’s Research Director:
The presidential campaign edition of the Obsession DVD, currently being distributed by the Clarion Fund, carries the endorsement of the chair of the counter-terrorism department of the U.S. Naval War College, using the name and authority of an official U.S. military institution not only to validate an attack the religion of Islam, but to influence a political campaign. For these reasons, this endorsement has been included in MRFF’s second lawsuit against the Department of Defense, which was filed on September 25 in the Federal District Court in Kansas.
My opinion as an individual and thoroughly appalled human being:
John McCain has a moral obligation to publicly censure the Clarion Fund, the organization that produced Obsession and is distributing the DVDs; to denounce the inflammatory, anti-Muslim message of Obsession; and to do everything in his power to stop any further campaign activities by his supporters that have the potential to incite violence.
I’m so disgusted right now about the many issues this story entails, –the ‘who’ and the ‘why’ and the ‘what’…I just don’t have anything more to say…

Dispensational Pre – Tribulation Rapture Christians Will You Go To The Third Temple In Jerusalem And Pray?
Posted by Job on July 21, 2008
Pre – tribulation rapture dispensationalists are not only anticipating, but in many cases actually actively working to bring about the construction of the third Jewish temple, the recreation of the Levitical Aaronic priesthood, and the re – institution of the sacrifices to take away people’s sins. In this temple, Jews – reflecting the religious pluralism of modern rabbinical or synagogue Judaism – will make sacrifices and prayer intercessions for all people of all faiths, and will invite representatives of all faiths to come pray and worship on their outer court, the court of the Gentiles, which in their view will fulfill the Old Testament prophecies and help establish the Messianic age (paving the way for the coming of their Messiah) by getting more Gentiles to pray to their god and consent to becoming Noachide Gentiles.
Now it is no shock that liberal Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, New Agers, etc. who accept the “many paths to heaven” falsehood of religious pluralism will flock there, and yes this includes the Roman Catholic Church. But the issue is whether dispensational pre – tribulation Christians will as well? Quite frankly, I see no reason why not. The current mindset as exhibited by said Christians that operate in the religious sphere (see popular televangelists), the entertainment sphere (see the books and films which are by no means limited to “Left Behind”, “The Omega Code”, “The Late Great Planet Earth”, etc.), and the political sphere (not just John Hagee and Pat Robertson but Ann Coulter) has basically accepted the idea that Jews and Christians worship the same God. I picked Hagee, Robertson, and Coulter because the former publicly advertises his refusal to proselytize Jews and the latter two told Jewish men on national television that they could get to heaven by faithfully practicing Judaism without accepting Jesus Christ. (Ironically, these very people have no problem consigning liberal Democrat Christians who publicly profess faith in Jesus Christ to the lake of fire, but open up heaven to Jews that reject and revile Jesus Christ.)
Now this is not to say that all or even most of these sorts agree with Hagee, Robertson, and Coulter, and the other fellows who must publicly espouse such beliefs to protect their political and financial interests. Still, if pre – tribulation rapture dispensationalism teaches that Jews and Christians worship the same God and that there is still great spiritual value in Jewish rituals and traditions, and that Christians should take seriously a lot of the things written in the Talmud and such, then why not go to the third temple and pray? Now again, it is one thing to believe that God will never break His promise to Abraham, and to believe the writings of the Benjamite Saul (Paul) in Romans when he stated that God had not cast Israel off. However, it is another thing to totally reject everything else that the New Testament writers (including this same Saul) said about Jews – and everyone else – that reject Jesus Christ.
In other words, it is one thing for God to keep His promises to the biological descendants of Abraham. It is another thing to sit around and pretend that the Jewish religion still has spiritual efficacy, is still pleasing to the sight of God, when the same New Testament that speaks of Jesus Christ called it a shadow of things to come. When even the Old Testament – the book of Jeremiah – spoke of a new and better covenant with the old passing away. Holding that God is honoring two religions according to separate lines of revelation and conflicting truth claims is asserting that God is double – minded, unstable, unreliable, indeed a liar and a charlatan. But that is precisely what supporting the construction of the third temple is claiming. It is based on the notion that Jews and Christians worship the same God, but that the worship of Jews is merely flawed and incomplete. Still, despite their flawed, incomplete worship God still honors it, and will honor their temple as God’s house. And since it is God’s house, it will be perfectly acceptable for Christians to go pray at the Jewish temple. And quite unlike the Benjamite Saul, who suffered great personal sacrifice to visit with and raise and give an offering to the suffering Jerusalem Christians (leading directly to his being arrested I might add!) in the process of going to the Jewish temple to pray the Left Behind folks will ignore all of the impoverished and oppressed Christians – especially the Messianic Jews – in Israel for fear of offending the temple rabbis. Of course, slighting the Jerusalem Christians in this manner would be perfectly fine because they will be raptured up and we will all be together again in heaven, right? So that will make disobeying the book of James all fine and dandy.
Now maybe I am wrong, but when I hear the Left Behind advocates preach, they really do seem to seldom deal with the epistle to the Hebrews. Take this passage from chapter 7:
“11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 18For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. 20And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) 22By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”
Summary? The Aaronic priesthood is dead, and has been replaced by the priesthood of Jesus Christ. It and things pertaining to it are dead and have no spiritual value, including the rituals and the temple. You might ask why the Jerusalem Jewish Christians still went to the temple to pray. Well, THAT temple was God’s house because GOD told the Jews to build it during the time that God was still dealing with the Jews as His unique people that He was using to accomplish His purposes in the world and revealing things to them through His prophets. So not only did the Jewish Christians worship in that temple, but Jesus Christ did Himself for that temple was God’s house built by God’s people. Hebrews 1:1 “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets” … it was in times past that He through the prophets told His people to build the second temple. But the new temple will be constructed by people that have REJECTED GOD when He came in the flesh as Jesus Christ. Hebrews 1:2 “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.“
Look, even if you could show me where Jesus Christ ever told the Jews to rebuild the temple in scripture – and you cannot – making the claim that their rebuilding the temple has anything to do with the person that they REJECTED as their Messiah and God is ridiculous. It is equally ridiculous to claim that their building the temple has anything to do with Revelation, the eschatological writings of Paul, or the CHRISTIAN interpretations of the writings of the Jewish prophets. No, their rebuilding the temple HAS NOTHING TO DO with anything that Jesus Christ said or that followers of Jesus Christ believe. We must remember that while it is true that these people have not been cast away, but they are still – as Saul stated – spiritually blind, and as such are doing not the things of God but rather following the contents of their own hearts. As a result, the new temple will not be a place fit for a Christian to go pray and worship. Why? Because this temple will be an abomination produced by those determined to defy and reject Jesus Christ. So how can Christians participate in this worship or support it in any way without being participants in the desolation of abomination?
Further, let us go back to Hebrews, which was a warning to Jewish Christians in danger of reverting to Judaism and rejecting the uniqueness and exclusivity of Jesus Christ as expressed in Hebrews 6:1-8.
1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3And this will we do, if God permit. 4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Interpretation: for a Christian to pretend that there is spiritual value in the Aaronic priesthood and things pertaining to it is for a Christian to run the risk of an apostasy for which there is no coming back; a sin unto death. My position has been and is that Christians who are going after these prosperity doctrines trying to receive blessings under the old covenant and making no effort to understand or mature in what is available to them under the new covenant are playing with hell fire. The book of Hebrews is all about enduring to the end. Take 3:12-19, which reads “12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”
The doctrine of perseverance of the saints promises that the born again will endure to the end. However, the ministry of the Holy Spirit in this area is hindered in Christians that insist on forsaking the new covenant – the covenant under which terms the Holy Spirit is operating at present – in order to go try to practice Judaism, of people who are trying to mix the priesthood of Jesus Christ with the priesthood of Aaron in their doctrine and practice. Hebrews says that people who do this never learn through sound Christian living right from wrong, and as such never attain spiritual maturity, but instead remain spiritual babies. Why? Because it is the ministry of the Holy Spirit that matures a Christian, and resisting the Holy Spirit by going back to the old covenant resists that ministry. And again, since it is the mature Christians that will endure to the end, again Christians that are content to play games in this area are playing with hell fire. This is true whether you are a prosperity doctrine Christian or a Christian that is conferring righteousness on the practices and institutions of those that have rejected the Jesus Christ priesthood in order to keep the dead Aaronic priesthood going because of your own endtimes doctrines and hopes.
If chasing after old covenant blessings with the prosperity doctrine is playing with hell fire, I cannot see how going to the third temple to pray does not violate Hebrews 3:12-19. That is why I have real problems with what some Messianic Jews are advocating. It is one thing for them to advocate that Christians keep Passover, the Sabbath, the feasts, etc. in full view of how these observances typologically represent Jesus Christ, were fulfilled by Jesus Christ, and are only being done in remembrance of and in worship of Jesus Christ. In other words, so long as they know and teach that doing these things apart from Jesus Christ is not only meaningless but evil and spiritually harmful, and also teach that if a person has Jesus Christ then he has no need to do these things but should only practice them if he wants to (again, the message of Saul the Jew in Colossians 2:16) then that person is fine. But I often see Messianic Jews referring to and promoting teachings from the Talmud and other books written after the period of revelation to non – Christian Jews had ended by hard – hearted people that rejected the Holy Spirit. Some of the things in the Talmud are 100% true. But some of it is only 50% true (or more or less), and some of it is 100% lie. How can we tell which is which? The answer: we cannot. So why use it? Mixing Jewish tradition with the Bible really is no different from mixing Roman Catholic tradition with the Bible. If it is not infallible, the final authority, inspired, unchanging, and without contradiction or inconsistency, what good is it for use in instruction and doctrine? Claiming that 2 Timothy 3:16 only acts to give authority to scripture while not also invalidating the traditions and doctrines of men is the same trick that Roman Catholics use. If we are not going to accept that nonsense from Roman Catholics who at least PRETEND to accept Jesus Christ, why would we pay respect to the interpretations and doctrines of people who are brazen and open in their rejection of Him?
Just yesterday on a Christian television network, I saw a Messianic Jewish program showing devout people kissing, crying, and praying at the wailing wall. What is the wailing wall? It is alleged to be the last surviving remains of the Jewish temple. (Yes, I do say ALLEGED because the synoptic gospels assert Jesus Christ’s prophecy that nothing of the temple would be left standing in Matthew 24:2, Mark 13:2, Luke 21:6). By showing AND PROMOTING Christians and Messianic Jews worshiping not with each other in churches, homes, prisons, and Messianic synagogues but with rabbinic Jews at the alleged remains of what Jesus Christ said would be destroyed according to the provident will of the Father … I cannot see how many Christians would NOT be influenced to take a sojourn to Jerusalem and pray at the third temple and thereby risk apostasy. It is good to know that not all Messianic Jews support this madness: this is a post from a Messianic Jew that takes Hebrews seriously. But sadly, fellows like this are not among the ones that you see represented on Christian television.
Make no mistake, I do believe that there will be a literal third temple, and that a literal anti – Christ will enter into it halfway through the great tribulation, and an abomination of desolation will take place in the temple when the anti – Christ declares himself to be God. But Christians should realize that the third temple will be an abomination in and of itself; the last and greatest attempt by mankind to deny the existence of the priesthood of Jesus Christ and erect a false human priesthood in its place. As a result, unlike the people that defiled and desecrated the first two temples in the past, the anti – Christ will feel right at home in the third temple made by the L’oammi (not my people, see Hosea). Really, the third temple will be nothing more than A SECOND TOWER OF BABEL! So, pre – tribulation rapture Christian, if you think that you can go pray at the tower of Babel without committing apostasy, you had better think again. Or better yet, go home and read your book of Hebrews.

YouTube Censors Videos Concerning John Hagee’s Pro-War position
This action by John Hagee and his lawyers does appear suspious in light of the up-coming CUFI gathering/Summit on July 21-July 24.
As the author of this post at Talk to Action points out, some of these clips have been up for a year or more: (8 of his own video’s were removed).
During previous Washington CUFI ‘war gatherings’ and hate fests we’ve gotten an inside look at the happenings–I’ll be surprised if this is true concerning the one later this month. I see you have to wear a badge at all times to have access to any of the closed meetings, ( quote, You must present a photo ID to register. You must wear your Registration Badge at all times during the Summit)
Senator Joe Lieberman and Senator Rick Santorum are at least two of the politico’s due to speak. Wonder if Bridgette “ARABS HAVE NO SOUL!” Gabriel will be speaking again this year?: (see this now infamous video clip here before it too gets removed)
If you have not as yet, gotten a look inside the Hagee political war-mongering organization CUFI, plus Hagee and his followers ultra-dispensationalist views of scripture/prophecy, the excellent PBS program: Christians United for Israel (CUFI) is still available on line to watch as well as the transcript. I remember watching it last fall, and the total SHOCK I had when listening to this documentary.
Quote..
“If a line has to be drawn, draw it around Christians and Jews. We are united.” – “When 50 million evangelical bible-believing Christians unite with five million American Jews standing together on behalf of Israel, it is a match made in heaven.” -Pastor John Hagee, CUFI Founder
PBS Video (EXCELLENT, eye-opening program)

JOHN HAGEE: “THANK YOU, POPE BENEDICT”
Posted by Job on June 18, 2008
From Apprising Ministries. In this piece in The Washington Times article referenced below Apprising Ministries points out that we can see Word Faith prosperity preacher John Hagee attempting a little spin control after being criticized over his views of apostate Roman Catholicism:
During his recent visit to the United States, Pope Benedict XVI not only conducted mass and met with the Catholic faithful, but he made a series of public statements about the role that our Judeo-Christian faith can play during these challenging times. As an evangelical Protestant I happen to disagree with Pope Benedict on many issues of Christian doctrine and ritual. But when it comes to his moral vision for America and the world I have one thing to say in response to the Pope’s visit: Amen…
My reaction to Pope Benedict”s visit may surprise some who have come to accept certain caricatures of my views of the Catholic Church. But as I have noted from the start, my critics have ignored the real point and strong emphasis of my words. I have indeed been quite zealous about condemning the past anti-Semitism of the Catholic Church. But I have been equally zealous in condemning Protestant anti-Semitism. Furthermore, as I noted in my 2006 book “Jerusalem Countdown,” I have long viewed Pope John Paul II and now Pope Benedict XVI as partners in this “righteous work” of overcoming our shared legacy of Christian anti-Semitism… (Online source)
O please tell me that Hagee playing the anti-Semitism card here is a joke. This from a man who helps raise funds for Totally Blasphemy Network and calls himself “evangelical leader.” And how much more anti-Jewish can you be than to deny them their Savior, John Hagee Denies That Christ (means Messiah) Jesus Is The…Messiah!
And as far as Joseph Ratzinger is concerned; if he will not repent of his blasphemous and insolent usurping of the title Vicar of Christ, which belongs exclusively to God the Holy Spirit, then I for one hope the Lord sends him and his Roman Catholic front for the Kingdom of God back to Hell where it belongs — Do I not hate those who hate You, O LORD? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You? (Psalm 139:21)

John Hagee: God Sent Hitler To Help Jews Reach The Promised Land!
Posted by Job on May 22, 2008
Apparently this was too much for John McCain, who has now rejected the fellow. “The Arizona senator has said he sought Hagee’s support because the pastor, like himself, is a strong supporter of Israel.” Hmmm … seems as if the LaHaye – Lindsay – Scofield premillenial dispensationalism causes one to love ISRAEL more so than, you know, actual Jews. Why? Because ISRAEL is more important to that eschatological system than actual living breathing human beings are. (The same is true of America with this crowd by the way!) Proof of this is how so many premillenial dispensational leaders are advocating dual covenant theology and/or promises to refrain from evangelizing Jews. Why? So they can maintain the relationships that they need with the Israeli government and Jewish interfaith groups such as the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews that they need to pursue the goal of repatriating as many Jews as they can to Israel. Why? Not so that they can be saved, but so that Jesus Christ will come back and rapture THEM to heaven. The Jews that they will have chosen to repatriate to Israel rather than evangelize (and it is illegal to evangelize in Israel!) will be mostly slaughtered by the anti – Christ WITHOUT HAVING BEEN EVANGELIZED soon after the Christians are in heaven according to this doctrine. So … if this is how you love a Jew, how do you hate one? This doctrine basically causes Christians to focus on their own self interest – getting the rapture to happen as quickly as possible – with little regard for anyone else. Are attitudes like that loving towards Jews or anyone else, including Jesus Christ?
This is yet another example of how false doctrine makes the heart hard, wicked, and perverse … twice the son of hell that the person was before according to Jesus Christ. Sound Biblical Christian doctrine, on the other hand, inculcates a true love for the Jewish people.
Hagee said: “In his sermon, Hagee said, “Then God sent a hunter. A hunter is someone with a gun, and he forces you. Hitler was a hunter. … How did it happen? Because God allowed it to happen. Why did it happen? Because God said, ‘My top priority for the Jewish people is to get them to come back to the land of Israel.’” This is yet another problem with false doctrine. If you stick with sound doctrine based on what the Bible actually says, then you do not have to come up with these crackpot theories. So … God sent the Holocaust against the Jewish people so Jesus Christ can come back and Christians can be taken up in the rapture? Excuse me, but where does the Bible say that? It doesn’t. Since the Bible does not speak of the Holocaust, there is no justification for coming up with a doctrine based on it. But here, in order to justify his eschatological beliefs, Hagee comes up with something so appallingly dripping with self – interest.
A Biblical perspective makes it clear: the Holocaust happened for the same reason why other great evils do … original sin. There is no reason to add to it, take away from it, or come up with vain speculations that tickle the ears of the hearer.
But this line from Hagee was classic: “I am tired of these baseless attacks ...” Hagee, these attacks are based on your own comments. Things that you said. From your pulpit. Things that you broadcast on your own TV show. Things contained in your many books, CDs, DVDs, etc. that you have become an exceedingly wealthy man selling. Oh yeah, and isn’t telling people that in 2006 (or was it 2007?) America and Israel were going to attack Iran, leading to the rapture within 6 months to a year later a great way to make sure that they don’t fall behind on their tithes, prosperity preacher! Are you still having your congregation pay tithes now that gas is $4 a gallon and economic times are hard, Hagee? Well Hagee, if you are tired of these baseless attacks, I am tired of your sermons, your ministry, and your entire lifestyle (hey Hagee, how’s the first wife doing?) being baseless as far as the Bible is concerned. If you are tired of it Hagee, then you can either A) become a true Biblical preacher instead of one who deceives and fleeces the flock for money and power or B) get out of the pulpit altogether. The choice is yours. And I am not ashamed to say, Hagee, that if you are tired of a few weeks of criticism based on your false doctrines and lies – and if what you were preaching was TRUE and if you were a TRUE PREACHER you would be GLAD to suffer humiliation and persecution for the Name of Jesus Christ! – the lake of fire will be much more intolerable than people holding you accountable for the falsehoods that come out of your mouth. And oh yes, your stint in the lake of fire will last a lot longer than a presidential election …
