National Religious Broadcasters Using Oneness Modalist Heretic TD Jakes To Get Out The Vote

Posted by Job on May 12, 2008

Driving to work this morning viewing the effects of the terrible thunderstorms that spared my neighborhood but hard hit the one right next to mine, I was listening to Christian radio. Out of the blue comes TD Jakes’ booming voice. In it, he first speaks of how much he loves America and so forth. I immediately thought of Jakes doing this to exploit anger over Barack Hussein Obama, Michelle Obama, and Jeremiah Wright’s considerably less than jingoistic statements and actions. Then he went into his exhortation spiel for people to register and get out to vote.

First, I see Lifeway Bookstores, owned by the Southern Baptist Convention, selling TD Jakes’ doctrinal error (oneness pentecostalism and the Word of Faith/prosperity doctrine are but a few of his MANY problems) and now the National Religious Broadcasters are using this guy. I had been using the NRB as a sort of a refuge from the blatant charismania that you will find on The Word Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daystar, etc. So I just ignored the heavy Pat Robertson presence on the channel, as well as their “white Europeans are the descendants of the children of Israel … the Danube River is so named because of the tribe of Dan” show that comes on early in the morning. I also ignored their embrace of the Ellen White Seventh Day Adventist cult. So I suppose that I cannot cast NRB aside on Jakes’ account, since the ones that I just named are hardly better – if anything some might be worse – or else I would be reacting out of a personal dislike for Jakes rather than on principle. (On the other hand, Slice of Laodicea has criticized NRB, albeit for different reasons, such as this post stating that not one red cent of NRB’s $5 BILLION IN ASSETS is being used to defend the faith from Oprah Winfrey.)

Incidentally, speaking of TD Jakes and PR spots, he has another one out (I did not catch the sponsor!) promoting single sex education, saying that “boys need their own schools so that they will be able to, you know, romp and stuff (his choice of words not mine!) and that boys learn differently from girls and needed their own classrooms in order to be accommodated. So … it looks like Jakes is not that far removed from Jeremiah Wright’s separatist doctrines after all?

I have to be honest, back when I was part of the religious right and allowing my worldview to be shaped by the Washington Times and the National Review, I was in full agreement. But now … I just recall reading about this inner city public school that went all male. Sure, the discipline problems decreased and the test scores went up. But when they interviewed the boys that attended the school, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WANTED THEM TO BRING THE GIRLS BACK! Why? Because, er … BOYS LIKE GIRLS! Or at least they are supposed to anyway. Perhaps now that T.D. Jakes is on board with the new world order’s gay rights agenda (and yes this is relevant … perhaps due to his son) he thinks it is OK. To me, the whole single sex education thing … who wants it? Certainly not the kids. Not the administrators or teachers. Parents go for it only because they are desperate for any hook or angle to improve the failing school systems that the government is ruining on purpose. Not even the old fashioned religious sorts – of which I am one – think that it is a good idea anymore, where you were supposed to keep boys and girls separate in their little boarding or finishing schools (where they were supposed to look OH SO CUTE in their little uniforms I guess) UNTIL GRADUATION DAY WHEN YOU MARRY THEM OFF.

Sorry people, but society has changed. Not all of the changes have been for the good, but methinks that one of the most important things for a boy to learn from school is how to treat a lady and how to behave yourself in their presence. For some of us guys, those things do not come naturally, and you only learn them through trial and error. Especially error. (If you don’t learn to handle competition and rejection in junior high and high school, how on earth are you supposed to handle being turned down for jobs, promotions, college choices, etc. later in life?) So … HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO LEARN THOSE THINGS IF THERE ARE NO GIRLS AROUND TO LEARN THEM FROM?

Like I said, TD Jakes may have his own reasons for wanting to turn your local public school into Morehouse College or similar, and whatever they are I oppose them 100%. All the more reason why the Southern Baptist Convention should not be selling this guy’s books and NRB shouldn’t be using him for their get out the vote campaign. But I suppose that this oneness anti – Trinitarian heretic is just too good at making money and moving public opinion for these people to pass up. That is, unless they are actually along with Jakes, on his side. After all, the Southern Baptists refuse to do anything about the likes of New Age heretic Erwin McManus and Council on Foreign Relations worker Rick Warren (and Richard Land too?), and as stated earlier, Al Sharpton Al Gore global warming propagandist partner Pat Robertson is a major partner with the NRB.

Abortion Is Racist Population Control Against Blacks AND BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES SUPPORT IT!

Posted by Job on April 29, 2008

From Breaking Christian News and The Tedland Daily Exposer. Anonymous phone calls to abortion clinics seem to substantiate the charges of ethnic cleansing of African-Americans by Planned Parenthood.

For years, accusations have been made regarding what can only be described as diabolically chilling racism at the heart of Planned Parenthood. In an October 2005 issue of Life Issues Institute, for example, Susan W. Enouen, P.E., writes: “Since the legalization of abortion in 1973, African Americans have taken a disproportionate blow to their population growth. Although today there are thirty-four million African Americans in the US, fourteen million unborn black American babies have been aborted since 1973, representing over one-fourth of their potential population. Today, blacks account for 12.3% of the American population, but African American women receive 36% of the abortions and are three times more likely than white women to have an abortion. The sad fact is, more African American babies have been killed by abortion since 1973 than the total number of African American deaths from AIDS, violent crimes, accidents, cancer and heart disease combined.”

“One key factor that has contributed to this tragedy,” says Enouen, “is the lasting influence of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Sanger began the ‘Negro Project’ in 1939 to promote birth control as a solution to the poverty and degradation experienced, at that time, by blacks in general. Sanger was a strong proponent of birth control for the ‘unfit’ in society, who she believed should be discouraged from reproducing. Sanger sought to prevent the growth of certain segments of society, including blacks, through legislation or easy availability of sterilization and birth control. She recognized that these efforts might be seen as an attempt at racial genocide, and that the best approach must include recruiting and training African American doctors and ministers to help with the project.”

“Margaret wrote in a letter to Clarence Gamble dated October 19, 1939, ‘The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.’ She convinced black leaders that birth control and sterilization would ‘improve the welfare of the Negro population,’ and she enlisted their help in a mission to reduce maternal and infant mortality through birth control (as opposed to better prenatal and medical care). Thus began an undeniable effort to limit the growth of the African American population, irrespective of the intent.”

Just this month, on April 11, 2008, the Christian Post reported that a pro-life student group at UCLA released a series of shocking videos they claim proves that Planned Parenthood is still carrying out racially targeted abortions.

Today, BCN subscriber Pastor Brian Noble of Sandpoint Assembly of God in Sandpoint, Idaho, passed along an audio clip in which phone calls to Planned Parenthood were taped to authenticate these charges. Pastor Noble felt strongly that the Body of Christ at large needs to be made aware of this horrific practice. We agree wholeheartedly.

*My note: conservative Republican Christians, please remember that the GOP Congress and George W. Bush have had many opportunities to stop the $300 million that goes to Planned Parenthood annually but have refused. You had the GOP control of the Senate from 1980 – 1986, the Republican Congress from 1994 – 2006, and the Bush White House from 2000 until now. So Christians, always know whose side you are on. This issue was the main reason why I left the Republican Party in 2006: I realized that they were pro – abortion too! And as for you Barack HUSSEIN Obama supporters, this fellow supports the genocide of his own people. That the Clintons are aggressively pro – murder goes without saying. John McCain? He told the San Francisco Chronicle in 1999 that he would not seek to overturn Roe v. Wade. If I know this, John Hagee, Rod Parsley, and the rest of the religious right know this, yet they supported Bush and will support McCain anyway … and as far as black liberation theologists James Cone and Jeremiah Wright, apparently liberating the race means murdering it off, as both aggressively support abortion.

The Brain Of A Typical False Preacher!

Posted by Job on March 29, 2008

This may seem harsh, but it is utterly Biblical! I have “adapted” this from Spiritual Pathways Ministries, who used it to refer to a specific false preacher, but when you realize how the Bible describes the depravity of false preachers and their followers,  the shoe fits them all, so I am going to make them all wear it!

male_brain.png

The specific areas in mind are:

ATTENTION SPAN: If you will notice that cranial area is small. That is the attention they pay to what the Bible actually says, and also the attention that they pay to the words and example of Christians that are actually trying to understand and obey the Bible. Another more medical term for it is lip service and false preachers have plenty of lip.

AVOID PERSONAL QUESTIONS AT ALL COST AREA: This part of the false preacher’s brain functioning is on full alert as they avoids personal questions and accountability to the Bible like the plague. Plague albeit is a good term for their peaching style.

LAME EXCUSES GLAND: This gland is in full operation daily for false preachers (and their followers) as they attempts to justify all sorts of crazy things which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt as to perverted their brain really are and what low energy flow they have. How they (and their supporters) justifies their false doctrines and evil actions  and then peddles it to the world is beyond me.

DANGEROUS PURSUITS AREA: This area of false preacher and follower – or to some vernacular favored by some the pulpit pimp and the sheeple – provides evidence for crazy behavior. The reckless abandon of common sense is evident to all who know the Bible (and even those that have some general idea of morality and propriety by way of God’s common grace) and brain surgery may allow them to lessen their reign of terror upon people.

SEX, SEX: Modern day Christians that defile themselves with the doctrines of Baal, Belial, Jezebel, etc. by following false preachers are known for their shockingly carnal mindset and actions. Is there any wonder why rates of adultery, abortion, divorce, etc. are as high among churchgoers as they are among the regular population? Further, popular preachers and Chri$tian entertainer$ are now routinely selling sexuality for fame and profit: see our series sex sells especially in the church for only part of it! Another ministry as a Christian Erotica section that talks about it even more.

I am sure you will agree that the functioning of the false preacher and false preacher disciple brain explains a lot. Whatever it lacks I’m quite sure that the Lame Excuses Gland will make up for it in abundance. I suppose I could sum up by labeling all this Cranial Crapola. All this comes about by having a reprobate mind (Romans 1:28) to do all those things that are not fitting. It should also be noted that it was God who gave them over to this reprobate mind. For the longest time the brains of - again to use the common vernacular – pulpit pimps and their sheeple have “Become futile in his thoughts and his foolish heart was darkened” Romans 1:21.

Yes, I’m afraid that false preachers and their followers do need some brain surgery to remove many unnecessary functions. I pity the poor surgeon that has to do that task.

Mormon Mitt Romney Is Rick Warren Appreciator!

Posted by Job on February 7, 2008

You see folks, that is what false Christianity that does not have Jesus Christ at its center – or does not accurately represent who Jesus Christ is, which is to quote Thomas “Our LORD and our GOD” – results in: a meaningless false faith whose language can be co – opted by any apostate heretic to use for his own ends. Christians who like to shy away from things like sovereignty, judgment, and blood redemption because they are considered barbarous by the world and instead like to speak of your “faith” using abstractions, platitudes, and generalities remember this: Adolph Hitler espoused Christian family values too. The link below contains this quote from Romney:

Americans love God, and those who don’t have faith , typically
believe in something greater than themselves – a ‘Purpose Driven Life.’

The Christianity that we are called to speak of and live should be that which neither the Mitt Romneys nor the Mike Huckabees can co – opt for their own purposes. The best part is, though, that Romney seems to be stating that what passes for popular Christian faith today is actually no faith at all. Whether you are a values Christian, a oneness Christian, a cultural Christian, a New Age spirituality Christian, an emergent Christian, a prosperity/Word of Faith Christian, it is all the same: lukewarm worldliness. Well on judgment day, Jesus Christ is going to spue you out of His mouth and into the lake of fire, which trust me will not be lukewarm.

JAMES DOBSON ENDORSES MORMON MITT ROMNEY!

Posted by Job on February 6, 2008

I first saw this here but it was confirmed in this devotional as well. Man oh man, I love this election season. So many prominent Christian leaders in the limelight are being exposed for what they are. From the people backing Huckabee despite knowing his connections to the Council on Foreign Relations and to apostates like Kenneth Copeland and John Hagee to Pat Robertson backing Giuliani to the MANY evangelicals and even some fundamentalists backing Mormon Mitt Romney to Donnie McClurkin and many other leading black Christians backing Barack HUSSEIN Obama (here, here, here, here, here, here) well the Lord is exposing for the whole world to see what these prominent Christians are really about and after – the things of this world.Christians, is this the falling away of the American church? If so, make sure that you are not part of that falling away. In a sense, things have been this bad for quite awhile, because the fact that Martin Luther King, Jr. was no better than a Mormon because he did not believe in the deity or resurrection of Jesus Christ despite it being commonly reported … so many people do not know because they do not care to know. And never forget: King’s rise was due to so many alleged Christians, many of them evangelicals and fundamentalists, supporting segregation and racism! Still, I regularly ask some older (than me) Christians have things always been this bad, and even the ones that personally experienced segregation and poverty say without hesitation “No, it wasn’t.”

***DR. DOBSON AND RUSH LIMBAUGH ARE THE LATEST TO JOIN THE “JUDAS GALLERY” !!! WWW.VOTINGFORSATAN.COM IS ONLINE!!! I’ve launched this new website — www.votingforsatan.com — not to tell people who to or not to vote for, but to help educate people on what Mormon’s really believe and hold accountable high-profile Christians who have endorsed cult member Romney’s bid for
the Presidency. The new site features an interactive section with
polls and a great message board where you can post your thoughts and
comments, news notes on the race for the White House, my numerous
Devotionals on Romney and the Mormon church, in-depth writings by an
ex-Mormon that clearly lay out the beliefs and theology of Mormonism,
as well as special videos including the TV program I did in the magical
Mormon underwear worn 24/7 by high level Mormons. Please check it out
and help me by telling everyone you know about this new site, and post
it on every message board and chat room you can find, especially the
sites that cater to politics.

“The word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, prophesy against the
shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign
LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves!
Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe
yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not
take care of the flock. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the
sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or
searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. So they
were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered
they became food for all the wild animals. My sheep wandered over all the
mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth,
and no one searched or looked for them.” Ezekiel 34:1-6

A sad commentary on so many pastors and Christian leaders right from God’s
Word. Last week I was doing some study in the Book of Ezekiel. In reading
through some passages, I came across these first 6 verses in Ezekiel 34. As
I read these words, I could only think that this was the sad description of
so many pastors and Christian leaders today. 50 years ago, you could sit in
the pew of most any church of any denomination and hear the Truth of God’s
Word. Those pastors and the men and women God raised up on the national
scene were men and women who would never compromise the Truth of the Bible
and understood their only mission was to bring the lost to Christ.

Fast forward to the year 2008 and you have entire denominations of pastors
who don’t even preach, teach or believe the Bible. It is questionable if
many pastors were ever “called” and are even saved. Those who have risen up
into national prominence are more worried about selling books, having the
newest private jet, building bigger buildings, and living like the rulers of
small nations rather than preaching the unadulterated Truth of the Bible and
leading the lost to faith in Jesus Christ. My goodness, you now have
so-called Christian leaders who are endorsing and working for the member of
a satanic cult to become our next President!!!

When these are the men and women leading the people, why are we surprised
that many who sit in the pews of the nations churches on Sunday aren’t even
saved, don’t accept the Bible as Absolute Truth and our only authority, and
the majority of the ones who do lead weak and ineffective lives. That is
why I encourage people all the time to seek out a pastor who is a true
shepherd. That is increasingly difficult today, but there are still many
men of God who have not bowed their knee to Baal and are not the shepherds
described in Ezekiel 34. Sunday is the day most Christians go to church. It
is the only time most of you ever see your pastor, and that is usually from
your seat in the sanctuary as he leads the worship service and preaches the
message.

Having preached in over 500 churches of every denomination nationwide, I can
honestly tell you that for most pastors, Sunday morning is their favorite
day of the week and the one day they usually feel their work for God really
has some meaning. You can never know the pressure most pastors are under. If
it was only getting up on Sunday morning and being the “man of God” it would
be wonderful, but that is not reality. It is a 7-day a week, 24-hour a day
calling. Many have outside jobs. There is the constant pressures of raising
the budget, dealing with the interpersonal problems that always exist when
you have a group of people, overseeing the political infighting that often
occurs, on top of the spiritual requirements of shepherding the flock,
having an anointed word each week for the various services, and other
requirements the office of pastor carries with it.

My prayer for you today is to support your pastor. Pray for your pastor each
day. John 10 gives us the picture of the ideal pastor. Pray that your pastor
will be able to tear away from the distractions of this world to be the
shepherd described in John 10. God has placed that pastor in your life to
guide you, spiritually nurture you, and have spiritual leadership over your
life. Do all you can to show your love and appreciation for all your pastor
does for you, most of which you may not even recognize. Also, God has placed
your pastor in your life for spiritual leadership. When you come into times
of crisis, don’t hesitate to go to your pastor. That is ultimately why they
are there, to help you and guide you through those difficult times in your
life.

I love you and care about you so much. I pray for you daily. Sadly, today
there are too many pastors and Christian leaders who fall into the
description found in Ezekiel 34. It makes the work that much more difficult
when you have people running around calling themselves Christians, but
supporting sins like abortion, homosexuality, the destruction of God’s plan
fo the family. You have others who think there is nothing wrong with
belonging to a cult or false religions and they have bought the
universalistic lie from hell that everyone will get to Heaven.

Let this message today be a remember to lift up your pastor in prayer and
recognize him for all he does for your life. God has called His sheep to be
obedient and obey those in spiritual authority. Take inventory and see if
you are fulfilling this admonition, and ask God to help you. He loves you so
much, that he has placed your pastor in your life to shepherd you and guide
you in your spiritual journey. Show your love for Him today by praying for
and supporting your pastor.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller bkeller@liveprayer.com

Mike Huckabee Is Down With Newt Gingrich (And Bill Clinton And Dick Morris)!

Posted by Job on January 9, 2008

Who knew that former Southern Baptist preachers got along so well with serial adulterers? This is more proof that Huckabee is not an actual Christian but rather just another Rick Warren T.D. Jakes Council on Foreign Relations worker.

The Mormon False God Is From The Planet Kolob!

Posted by Job on December 20, 2007

Actually, there is debate in Mormonism on the true nature of Kolob. Some say that it is a planet, some say that it is a star. Others say that the Mormon god is from there, others say that it is the closest star to his place of residence (this tends to mean that the Mormon god is not a transcendent one like the God of the Bible that the heavens cannot contain, but rather one that is part of nature and creation like the polytheistic and pantheistic gods). Seriously, why are Christians obliged to show tolerance and respect to these people’s beliefs in any way, shape, or form? I can understand why those who hate Christians demand that we must respect Mormon beliefs in a way that they themselves would NEVER respect Christianity. But what of CHRISTIANS that claim that we should respect their beliefs or that their beliefs have anything in common with ours? I will tell you: those Christians are not looking at doctrine but rather the externals. Well even though the book of James and the gospels say that Christians will be known by our externals, Christianity is a spiritual religion where everything begins with and proceeds with faith God as He revealed Himself in the Bible.

The more I read stuff like this, the more I understand why this Mitt Romney/Mike Huckabee campaign is actually very useful. A great many Roman Catholics really dislike not only Huckabee but also his supporters. Do not get me wrong, while I certainly strongly disagree with both Romney and Huckabee supporters, I merely hold them to be mistaken (as I was for supporting George W. Bush and his brother Jeb from 1998 to 2006). It is clear that the Catholic antipathy is religion – based. Evangelicals are the only major group of Christendom that still strongly adheres to sola scriptura and sola fide. Mormons and let us face it all but the most conservative mainline Protestants reject both in favor of works and their own traditions and sacraments.

So to Roman Catholics like Bob Novak – who has yet another hit piece on Huckabee and by extension his evangelical supporters today hypocritically bashing Huckabee for not opposing the rise of liberal evangelicalism when it was his own Roman Catholicism that invented liberal Christianity and won’t kick out a priest for being an atheist Marxist child molester homosexual so long as he doesn’t get married – they honestly find Mormonism more agreeable to their mindset than evangelicalism. The fact that Mormons reject the deity of Jesus Christ – and in truth God the Father – for a polytheistic system is not as important to them as the evangelical conviction that we can do just fine with the Bible and with faith. We do not claim salvation or justification by works. We do not claim that God’s grace is imparted through sacraments that are only legitimate if conferred by a church official (who again may be an atheist Marxist child molester homosexual so long as he is not married). Perhaps most importantly, we do not claim to be led primarily by a single figure that is God’s representative on earth, some vicario Jesu Christi or vicario deo figure or similar, but we believe in the priesthood of believers based on 1 Peter 2:5-9 (see this excellent document on that topic www.gotquestions.org/priesthood-believers.html).

So apparently, this Mike Huckabee campaign is precisely the cover that frustrated Catholics have needed all these years to air their grievances against Protestants, something that they otherwise would not be able to do, especially in the context of religious right politics. I am wondering if this is not going to spill over from politics into the realm of religion and culture as well. Of course, seeing how a great many evangelicals are now urging Christians to drop our insistence on sola fide and sola scriptura and want us to simply surrender our Biblical faith for one that is not (see ) and pretty much have been since the days of Billy Graham, you have to wonder precisely what grounds the battle will be fought on. My prediction is grounds that are highly favorable to the Roman Catholics.

Religious right Christians, this is to let you know: the GOP’s establishments’ rejection of Huckabee has NOTHING to do with his not being electable (as if Rudy Giuliani is), his ethics problems (again, see Rudy Giuliani) or his economic liberalism (again, Giuliani, Romney, and McCain are really no better, it is just that only the positive portions of their economic records are being reported where only the negative ones of Huckabee are). It is all about Roman Catholics disliking the evangelical faith, and that is precisely why they are trying to play this “either support Romney or be a bigot” nonsense.

The question is: how many evangelicals are going to play along instead of  standing up to attacks on their faith? From what we have seen so far, plenty. We know that Huckabee is not going to do a thing about it because he wants Roman Catholics  to vote for him. We have also seen plenty of prominent evangelicals endorse Romney because they are so deathly afraid of being publicly counted as bigots. Again, this is not to say that evangelicals should endorse and support Huckabee, whose support of Kenneth Copeland and John Hagee are just as bad as endorsing Romney. If anything, it is worse, because at least people who endorse Romney can claim to be compartmentalizing between sacred and secular, but by defending Copeland from that Chuck Grassley probe  and preaching at John Hagee’ s church, Huckabee cannot even claim that! Still,  Roman Catholics probably are unaware of (or more likely completely apathetic concerning) the theological problems with Huckabee, Hagee, Copeland, Rick Warren, etc. so it is useful to keep an eye on this situation as it relates to Roman Catholics’ hatred of sola fide and sola scriptura. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolob    lds.about.com/library/bl/faq/blkolob.htm

Judge Not Lascivious Christianity: Karrine Steffans And Darius “Eddie Winslow” McCrary On Not Defiling The Bedroom

Posted by Job on December 19, 2007

Remember this feature anyone? Sex Sells Especially In The Church: Video Vixen Karrine Steffans Worships At The Church Of Judge Not? It was about the woman who excellently represents the TD Jakes/Eddie Long/Creflo Dollar/Noel Jones/Paul Crouch/Paula White/Joel Osteen/Juanita Bynum “it is all about me!” false Christianity. It appears that this woman Karrine Steffans, she who used to prostitute the image of her body in rap and R&B videos and then prostitute her actual body itself by committing fornication with various music and sports industry figures only to then go on to declare herself the new sort of Christian that follows a false Jesus Christ who requires no repentance, holiness, or righteousness but rather writes tell all books glorifying her past sinful exploits, peddles her own flesh to the corruption of many, and then demands not to be judged … well it seems that she has herself a husband. That husband would be actor Darius McCrary, most famous for Eddie Winslow of that Family Matters (Urkel) show from the 1990s.

Now this McCrary also professes to be a Christian. He even made a Christian movie starring Tia and Tamara Mowry to that effect (in addition to his other acting choices). But of what sort? Now of course, I shall not judge this man for marrying a woman with a bad past. I myself have my own personal history of sinful wickedness. But what about marrying a woman with A BAD PRESENT AND THEN PARTICIPATING IN IT YOURSELF? Look at this woman’s website www.karrine.com, why don’t you? She has not changed one bit. Not one bit, especially as you see how she, like gospel artist Tonex, curses less than 10 seconds into one of the videos that she has on the site. Another video, called “The Marital Bed”, is her and her “husband” lying in bed. In it McCrary also unleashes vulgar profanity. He also refuses to have his face shown, and when asks why, he speaks of “not defiling the marriage bed” and then starts making grotesque allusions to the sex acts that he and his wife performed earlier that morning and will resume later. It reminded me of how immodest and inappropriate so many members of this “Christian” celebrity culture are in presenting their wives and speaking of their marital activities.

So is this what Christianity has become? Vulgar profanity? Flesh peddling? Exhibitionism? Making a mockery of scripture? Obviously it is. Check out Rick Warren’s Lust Driven Evangelism for instance. People, stuff like this is why I BEGGED BlackCalvinist not to pull his Heresy Hunter The Phantom Teaching video. This false form of Christianity is becoming the dominant form: what everyone is seeing in stores and on TV, both secular and “Christian.” It is not enough to merely withdraw yourself from it. It is not enough merely to provide the right teaching. We also have to expose the wrong teachings and teachers and show how they damage people!

Now we know that Karrine Steffans has not changed. That does not mean that she will not change in the future. Maybe the Darius McCrary of today is not the same one that made the Something To Sing About movie (presented by Billy Graham by the way). If that is the case, then maybe he can go back to the true faith. All I know is that based on their current public face, what they are representing NOW is not real Christianity, and it is my job to tell you that.

Christians, I know that it is going to be hard, but we are just going to have to flee this Christian celebrity culture. We have to wed ourselves from it somehow. Gay Christian Movement Watch has an example of it in Patti Labelle’s black church partnership. LaBelle quite simply is a Jezebel with heretical beliefs (including her statements that it is the Christians that denounce homosexuality that are the sinners). Yet these are the places that she will visit on her “gospel tour” (secular artists frequently resort to the gospel industry when their secular careers are over like Coko of the notoriously explicit R&B group SWV, see this link of her performing at Eddie Long’s New Birth):

  • Potters House, Oct.7 Dallas, TX
  • St. Agnes, Oct. 13 Houston, TX
  • West Angeles COGIC, Oct. 27 Los Angeles, CA
  • House of Hope, Oct. 28 Chicago, IL
  • Deliverance Evangelist Church, Nov. 10 Philadelphia, PA
  • Christian Cultural Center, Nov. 17 Brooklyn, NY
  • Greater Grace, Dec. 1 Detroit, MI
  • Jerico City of Praise, Dec. 2 Landover, MD
  • New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Dec. 6 Atlanta, GA
  • Faithful Central Bible Church (The Forum) Dec 16, Los Angeles, CA
  • The “gospel tour” of “churches” is SPONSORED BY CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES. So yes, Christianity is now a product that you can package and sell just like your body. And some other members of Christianity Showbiz Inc. that joined this woman? Mary-Mary, Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, Soul Seekers, and J. Moss!

We have to be vigilant, people, not only for ourselves but the other sheep in the flock. We may not be pastors personally directly responsible for a certain set of sheep, but as members of the Body of Christ we ALL have a communal shared responsibility for EACH OTHER: male, female, black, white, young, old, rich, poor, new and struggling in the faith, mature and strong meat eater, leader, follower, hot, cold, or lukewarm! Christians, I have to ask you one thing: who is on the Lord’s side? After that I must ask of you: what are you doing about it?

Rick Warren Teaching Church Growth Tactics To Reform Jews

Posted by Job on December 19, 2007

Selected quotes from article: “With the holiday season (can’t say the word Christmas to that crowd!) in mind, Warren urged clergy to take advantage of crowded events to publicize other programs so people can get involved in the community through smaller groups.”

““There are some principles that apply regardless of our faith, if it’s Jewish or Christian,” he said at the convention….”

The Purpose Driven Campaign: Mike Huckabee Shows His True Colors By Apologizing To Mormon Mitt Romney

Posted by Job on December 13, 2007

    msnbc.msn.com/id/22239946/

Make no mistake, by apologizing to Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee chose political ambition over the true gospel of Jesus Christ. People, there is nothing to apologize for here. First of all, Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is a creature, a created being. Now the Mormon religion of Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and similar specifically sought to distinguish themselves from Christianity, to the point of calling us “apostates” and “Gentiles.” Their modern goal, however, is to get Mormonism to be regarded “a Christian denomination” so that people will view going from Mormonism to Christianity as being no different from going to Presbyterianism to Lutheranism or Methodism to Baptism. So they do not make it publicly known that Mormonism holds Jesus Christ to be a creature. Instead, they tell you that they regard Jesus Christ as the son of God, and leave it at that. Of course, their hope is that the person who hears that will do so according to the assumptions inherent in Christianity, and presume that Mormons believe the same thing that we do. They do not. Christians know that Jesus Christ is uncreated but rather has always existed as part of the Triune Godhead, the same as the Father and equal to the Father. Mormons claim that God created Jesus Christ just as He created bugs and rocks. Further, consider the fact that Christianity knows that God and Jesus Christ are of the same essence or substance. This cannot be according to Mormonism, for the Mormon god does not truly “create”, call things into existence out of nothing, but rather reorganizes matter that already exists. So while it is incorrect to say that the Mormon Jesus was created by nebular space dust, he cannot be of the same essence or substance as the Father, cannot be equal to the Father, and cannot in any sense be deity. And this leaves alone the fact that Mormonism holds that God the Father Himself was a man who progressed to godhood.

So is the notion that Jesus Christ and Satan are spirit brothers offensive to Mormons and should not be said? Well consider this: the notion was not first said by Christians! Rather, it was first said by Mormons themselves! This is where such comments can be found:

The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, Pg.33, 163

This is far from a comprehensive list, but rather what appears on a single web page, which also contains the relevant quotes from those passages that I did not include for space purposes. Of course, Mormons will say that they are taken apart from context, and that is not entirely unfair. But that ignores the fact that 1. the false teaching exists to be taken apart from context to begin with and 2. their attempts to place it into proper context generally consists of little more than attempting to demonstrate that their doctrine is justified in the Bible. The primary purpose of their claim that their teachings are misunderstood and taken out of context is to avoid having to admit their doctrine that Jesus Christ is a mere creature and it is further extremely unlikely that Christians would have said such a thing – for it is one thing to be a creature but quite another to be Satan’s brother – had Mormons themselves not first said so.

Mitt Romney knows this. That is why the speech of his that is being given so much praise by the religious right apostates specifically called Jesus Christ the Son of God but went no further, with Romney dishonestly claiming that saying any more violates the spirit of Article 6 of the Constitution. Well why even say that Jesus Christ is the Son of God since Jews, Muslims, and even liberal Christians in the tradition of Martin Luther King, Jr. who believe that Jesus Christ was just an ordinary man cannot say the same? Simple: Romney does not so much fear “anti – Mormon bigotry” as he is insistent upon making acceptance of Mormonism and his candidacy a package deal.

Is Romney overtly evangelizing in the sense that he is passing out Mormon tracts at campaign events? No. But by establishing terms where it is inappropriate to talk about the differences between Mormons and Christians by exploiting not so much as Article 6 but the concept of “civil public religion” that was created in the early days of this country so that there could be cooperation between Unitarians, deists, freemasons, Enlightenment agnostics, and Christians and was recreated under the banner of “the religious right” to unite Catholics, Jews, and evangelical Christians, Romney is trying to get Mormonism included within the religious political mainstream. Please realize that this religio – political mainstream was never formed to promote spiritual aims – for the groups have disparate spiritual beliefs and agendas – but rather for secular ones. In other words, the civil religion of our founding fathers and of the modern religious right is in fact no less than the very secular humanism that these people hypocritically claim to oppose, and the hypocrisy is no less than Mitt Romney taking the position that his own Article 6 views should not apply to an atheist.

What Romney and his allies are doing is using politics to advance the evil notion that a false religion is just as good as Christianity so long as “you have the right values.” Basically, it is a values based – or should I say works based – universal common religion. In that respect, it is no different from the religious left! For an example, let us turn to the center of the Roman Catholic – Jewish – evangelical neoconservative universalism, the National Review, specifically comments from their “The Corner” weblog.

    Mormonism & “Weirdness” [Mike Potemra]

Thanks to all the readers who passed along their kind words in response to my post about Mormons. To the readers, on the other hand, who have written me about how I should be worried about the (in the words of one) “extremely strange” and “Scientology-level strange” beliefs of Mormons, here’s my response: In my own faith, we believe that the cause of all evil was a single mistake by human beings many millennia ago—but that the situation was set right . . . because we murdered an innocent man 2,000 years ago. Therefore: I’m not about to throw stones about beliefs that sound weird to people who don’t share them. (First of all, Christians do not oppose Mormonism because it is “weird” but because it is WRONG. And if you are unwilling to throw stones, then it is only because you believe Christianity to be a glass house. Therefore, you are not a believer.)

Michael Novak and Mormonism [Mike Potemra]

I want to second something Michael Novak said. In my decades’ worth of meeting people from many different religious backgrounds, I have found that in every faith tradition-Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, what have you-there is roughly the same proportion of nice people and jerks. To this rule there is one conspicuous exception: Mormons. I have yet to meet a single Mormon who has been a jerk-and I have met many LDS believers. As someone who grew up in Rudy Giuliani’s faith, and is now somewhere between Mike Huckabee’s and John McCain’s, I find Mitt Romney’s religious background a factor that makes me more, rather than less, likely to vote for him. (Of course, this means that Potemra is not black, so the Mormon teaching that blacks are the cursed seed of Ham means nothing to him. Potemra also has not administered a weblog which calls Mormonism a false religion that will fill you full of demons and send you to the lake of fire for an eternity, because if he did he would CERTAINLY encounter a multitude of Mormons that are not nearly so nice. Even were what he said true … so what? Where in the Bible does it say that “nice people” are going to heaven? Was Jesus Christ being “nice” when He drove the thieves from the temple and told the Pharisees that invited Him to their house as a dinner guest that they were going to the lake of fire?)

That is just a few. Basically, read the National Review and you will encounter Catholics who see little difference between Mormons, Jews, and Protestant Christians, evangelicals who see little difference between Mormons, Jews, and Catholics, and Jews who have Catholics, Protestant Christians, and Mormons all in the same boat. The same is true of the Weekly Standard, Human Events, Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, etc. Why? Because it is a secular movement and not a religious one, and Romney’s agenda is to get Mormons a seat at this secularist table that exploits religious organizations to pursue their secular goals.

And why not? Mormons outnumber Jews numerically, and to be quite honest the GOP party machinery would much rather keep evangelicals within the same position as the Democrats have blacks: seen on election day and given token representation in response, but nothing in terms of actual power or setting an agenda. And that is why these people have the sharp knives out for Huckabee for being a fiscal moderate but are just fine with Rudy Giuliani for being to the left of most Democrats on social issues. The concessions that Romney and Giuliani had to make to govern with Democrats are just fine, but Huckabee is held to some mythic Barry Goldwater standard (hypocritically of course, because the Barry Goldwater in this race, Ron Paul, they hate him too!).

Why? Because rank and file evangelicals are motivated by religion, and not some vision of the way things ought to be based on their secular views, and the GOP does not want anyone representing them to gain real power. The truth is that the GOP has the same view of evangelicals as the left does: fanatics seeking to make the United States a Christian Taliban regime. They just will not admit it because they need evangelicals to retain power so that they can implement their secular ideas. In that respect, they are no different from Democrats, who in case you have noticed is in no hurry to actually be governed by blacks.

So how does getting involved with this den of liars and thieves advance Mormonism? Simple. If Mormonism is included within our “conservative secular religion”, as we well know what is considered acceptable in the secular realm will also be considered acceptable in mainstream Christianity. So just as conversions from evangelical Christianity into Roman Catholicism, once unthinkable, has become not only commonplace but even trendy thanks to the religious right (and see how one of the first prominent religious right leaders to do so, Richard Neuhaus, all but claims Mormonism to be no different from Protestant Christianity here http://www.irr.org/mit/Neuhaus.html with “The history of Christianity, notably since the sixteenth-century Reformation, is littered with prophets and seers who have reestablished “the true church,” usually in opposition to the allegedly false church of Rome, and then, later, in opposition to their own previously true churches” and many similar statements). And now you have Christianity Today, the most prominent evangelical Christian publication, taking seriously the claim that evangelicals should abandon sola scriptura – scripture alone – and accept manmade tradition in order to accommodate and facilitate the growing intermingling between evangelicals and Catholics. Of course, there is no real difference between accepting the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and the tradition of Joseph Smith. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. See Why So Many Prominent Catholics Are Supporting Romney and Bob Novak Joins Catholic Chorus Lying For Mormon Mitt Romney for an example of what I speak.

Truthfully, it is happening already. Here are the comments of evangelical Christian John Schroeder about why Christians should not oppose the teachings that Jesus Christ and Satan are brothers: “Let’s see, we creedal Christians (the new name for Christians for Mormons as calling us apostates and Gentiles is now too strident I guess) believe Satan is a fallen angel; therefore created by God. Save for the by now widely known and completely irrelevant to politics differences in views of the Godhead – Where’s the beef?” here. He is not the only one. Some religious right leaders are actually going about claiming that Mormonism is fully compatible with the Bible, and that the differences are only interpretations, depictions, semantics, etc.

Now Huckabee Hound could expose this whole racket. But he apologizes for telling the truth even in the most timid of fashions! By doing so, Huckabee furthers the precedent that Christians cannot speak the truth outside of a church setting (and even now, the religious right sharks are digging through his old sermons to find information to embarrass him) by retreating from it. Now is this about respecting the beliefs of Mormons? Of course it is, and Christians should have no respect for a lie. Having respect for a lie is akin to either declaring agnosticism on the lie being true or pretending that all liars will have any other fate than the lake of fire. And it has nothing to do with disrespecting Mormons themselves. Disrespecting anyone, Mormons included, is a sin because we are all created in the image of God.

Take the person that claims that 1 + 1 = 3. Should we respect that man? Of course, for he is made in the image of God. Should we respect that man’s belief that 1 + 1 = 3? Of course not, for we know that it is a lie! And do not think that believing that 1 + 1 = 3 (and all of the negative assumptions and deductions that would follow from it) is a trivial matter. Would you hire such a person as an engineer to design dams and bridges? As a pharmacist to fill prescriptions? Of course not! Suffering such a person in that matter will result in the natural deaths of innocent people. So how much less should we have respect for a false religion that will result in people being cast into the lake of fire for eternity?

Now it does turn out that Mormons do not believe the same about Christians, believing that Christians who do good works will receive positive accommodations by God in the afterlife (by the way, this was not the original teaching of Joseph Smith, a fact which many Mormons are unaware of) and get highly offended when they hear of Christians consigning them to the lake of fire. But why should we have any more respect to the offense given to Mormons on this matter than anyone else? And if we are not willing to offend with the gospel, then we have no gospel.

Again, Huckabee knows this. Huckabee did not apologize on the account of Mormons, from whom he knows he will receive precious few votes. Huckabee apologized to curry favor with those who believe “if this is what Huckabee believes about Mormons, then he believes the same about me … that I am going to the lake of fire too, and I am offended by that!” Huckabee’s apology was not for the benefits of Mormons that reject Jesus Christ, but non – Mormons who do, and that includes not a few professed Christians that are politically conservative but practice a modern humanistic faith that either does not condemn anyone with “good values” to the lake of fire or does not force them to be confronted with the reality of the horror that actual living, breathing people that they see every day are going to receive this most horrible fate. And yes, he also apologized for the benefit of legitimate evangelical Christians that are hesitant to vote for anyone “divisive” and “controversial” and were attracted to Huckabee precisely because of his populist positive campaign (a formula that he learned from Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven apostate movement: Why The Media Likes Mike Huckabee So Much: He Is A Rick Warren Worker!). If Huckabee used the Warren method to grow a tiny Arkansas church to a 10,000 person megachurch, then getting Christian voters to choose him over Rudy Giuliani is no small accomplishment. The problem is that he is getting evangelicals to vote for him for the same theologically thin, suspect, and compromised reasons that he, Warren, and other Purpose Driven/emergent types get people to join their churches in the first place.

And the Rick Warren piece is key here. While Huckabee is using electoral politics to recruit conservative evangelicals through presidential process, Rick Warren is going after liberals and those in other religions. First of all, note his relationship with – gasp! – MORMONS!

Rick Warren ‘Works With’ and ‘Strengthens’ Mormon Churches and Other Non-Christian Sects

Second, see how Warren is going after Muslims: ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY: THE DEITY OF CHRIST and also Rick Warren Universalist Apostasy Meeting Details Here!

The “Islam and Christianity” link above reminds me of how TBN is using Jeremiah Cummings as well as the oneness preachers like T. D. Jakes, Noel Jones, Juanita Bynum, and Tommy Tenney to court Islam: TBN: REPAINTING ISLAM and
Trinity Broadcasting Network Tries To Merge Islam And Christianity!. And yes, TBN has made overtures to Mormons before: Mormons, Muslims, Oneness Pentecostals, And TBN, OH MY!

These all cannot be coincidences people. There is too much going on here with groups like the Center For National Policy (a Sun Myung Moon shadow group, see Want A List Of Pastors Who Took Sun Myung Moon’s Money?) and the Council on Foreign Relations (who counts Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, Newt Gingrich, Oprah Winfrey, T. D. Jakes, and RICK WARREN among is members and the Center for National Policy as one of its umbrella groups in the United States) for it to be. It is called the great apostasy people, the falling away of 2 Thessalonians 2:3!

By apologizing to a man whose beliefs that he knows are false for the “crime” of doing the world a favor and letting them know that they are false, Mike Huckabee shows that he is part of it. For Huckabee is after power, influence, and the things and cares of this world. James 4:4 says this about people like Huckabee Hound: “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” I suppose that Huckabee and those like him would have been highly offended at James for calling him a spiritual adulterer and an enemy of God, but I can guarantee you that James would never have apologized for it.

Angry At Your Tax Bill? Then You Should Be Anti – War!

Posted by Job on December 1, 2007

This fellow politizine.blogspot.com/2007/12/something-to-think-about.html linked to my post Are You Supporting The Porn Industry When Buying Your Kids’ Christmas Gifts Christians? and made some excellent points. Check this out:

I don’t necessarily completely subscribe to this thinking. But it does make me think a bit, especially when looking at the entire global economy and things encircling around it [corporate greed, sub-prime mess, the stock market, Christians who worship the money god, etc.]. Maybe I read the WSJ too much at this point but I think I’m getting a pretty good education on economics and what is wrong with economics. And then, when you measure those things to what your core values are as a person – or what you would like your core values to be, what you aspire to, and all that encompasses that, you get a mind-full, if you will.” Note to self: get a Wall Street Journal subscription. Or something.

For example, if we took Christ’s words literally, none of us would have much at all and we wouldn’t be doing 95 percent of what we are doing. We could have true communities of people helping each other instead of attacking each other, trying to eat each other alive in order to get to a perceived step up [Note: I used the word "could" instead of "would." "Would" implies a definitive and, after all, we are humans, imperfect, and therefore can never truly create a "perfect" world]. We would have low to no taxes because we would have low to no war [This would be a "would" because math is definitive even if liars figure and figures lie, or whatever that saying is].”

A commenter suggested that we do precisely that to liberate ourselves from our Molech Baal freemason economy here and here. Hmmm …

And now here is the payoff. It is amazing how these conservatives and Republicans always complain about high taxes and big government while being so militaristic. (Then again the Democrats are just as militaristic while claiming to support peace, but they don’t complain about high taxes and big government).

If next year, for example, the Pentagon budget was cut by 91 percent like it was in the year after World War II [FY1947], it would be about $60 billion and not the $647 billion it is for FY2008 … [Check out Page 7 of the Defense Departments FY2008 Green Book if you don't believe me and while you're there, check out all the other interesting information]. And, BTW, this does not include money for “the Global War on Terror” or the Iraq/Afghanistan campaigns [Page 10 of Green Book states, and I quote, with an asterisk next to National defense: “* Estimated future emergency funding for the Global War on Terror is not included.

Family values supporters? “We could all work and earn less because we wouldn’t need as much. And, would of this be such a bad thing?” Now sadly, it was not a conservative or biblical Christian from whom I first heard this message, but rather the postmodern Marxist gay rights supporter Cornel West in his book “The War Against Parents.” (Since the Politizine fellow apparently cares about the sexism thing, let me mention that it was co written – and knowing Cornel West almost certainly actually largely written with the real work done by – Sylvia Ann Hewlett. Conservative groups criticized West’s book for saying that big business harmed families; and gay rights groups criticized West for actually caring about the parenting issue instead of mocking it by using it to promote their narrow agenda.) But it is interesting how few conservative family values types talk about how many families (American and Iraqi) have been destroyed by this war. Even the people that have not been directly affected by having a spouse or child deployed, killed, or maimed by this war are having to deal with the strain of the negative economic effects caused by it.

I know a lot of people think that the wars in Afghanistan especially but also in Iraq were justified. Fine. But people, the overwhelming majority of the things that our government has done in Iraq and Afghanistan have NOTHING to do with defeating the people who were responsible for September 11th and have NOTHING to do with preventing future terror attacks. We are not defeating Al Qaeda by giving out no bid contracts to Halliburton, Blackwater, and the Carlyle Group. It is amazing how so many “conservatives” will deluge the radio talk shows and flood the weblogs with outrage were Hillary Clinton to start a $100 million affirmative action college scholarship program as an atrocious example of big government waste, but have absolutely no problem with our wasting hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan – most of it going to fraud, corruption, waste, and incompetence – allegedly trying to get those eastern cultures to accept western democracy whether they want it or not and whether it improves their lives or not.

Well listen: the early church of Acts? Despite what all these “Judeo – Christian western culture” promoting religious right preachers will tell you, they DID NOT live in a democratic society. And they did fine, didn’t they? Why? Because they trusted God to take care of them, and God did so. Rick Warren Global P.E.A.C.E. supporter Mike Huckabee handled that death penalty question with a typical distortion: “Jesus Christ was too smart to run for political office.” Never mind that as a Jew living in a fascist Roman empire (Christ wasn’t even a citizen, because it was illegal to crucify Roman citizens) running for office was not even an option. Never mind that Jesus Christ was offered not mere political office but being the king of Israel by his people after He fed the 5,000 and king of the whole world by Satan when He was tempted in the desert BUT TURNED IT DOWN. Why? Because as He told Pilate, His kingdom is not of this world. And the media just LOVED Mike Huckabee’s great response, didn’t they? Of course they did, for they are liars just like him. They LOVED Huckabee’s deceiving people as to the true mission and nature of Jesus Christ, his reducing Christ to being a mere bohemian philosopher.

Now it seems that so many Christians have taken the gospel for Jesus Christ to be capitalism, western democracy, and culture, and felt that we could “free” the good people of Afghanistan and Iraq by “converting” them to our false religion with the sword. And that makes us different from the “Islamofascists” how? Well, the “Islamofascists” who want to cut your throat and rape your wife (according to Pat Robertson, who has to use over the top fearmongering against Muslims to justify supporting a guy far corrupt than Bill Clinton), but at least you don’t hear them complaining about their taxes! That alone makes them so much better than us, and that includes “FairTax” Huckabee, who is continuing the folly of telling people that we can have more government benefits by paying less taxes. North American Union anyone? Ready to use your ameros to buy Christmas presents? That is what will happen if our politicians continue to wreck our economy on purpose by increasing spending, adding huge entitlements, fighting wars all over the globe, continuing to support the World Bank, IMF, WTO, etc., and lowering taxes.

Please realize that the state of Indiana, under the governorship of George W. Bush’s former budget director, created an economic crisis by cutting taxes and increasing spending, and then sold control of their state’s main highways to a foreign company under the excuse that they needed the revenue. Sort of like how our banks got into trouble by making all of those bad investments starting in the 90s and now need foreign companies to bail them out. Coincidence? Did we start electing and our corporations start hiring incompetent financial people all at once? Hmmm … well consider that if all of the local economies collapse (as they did in Europe a few decades ago) the only recourse is economic integration. And … sooo … did I mention that a globalist economy is part of the Global P.E.A.C.E. Plan of Warren and Huckabee? Check that out here:

WorldNetDaily Exposes Rick Warren’s False Preacher Logic!

    Rick Warren’s Inquisition

While mega-pastor Rick Warren has joined a group of 100 church leaders calling for interfaith dialogue and the building of “common ground” with Muslims, he has a slightly different outlook toward Christians with whom he disagrees.

In his latest missive to fellow pastors, he writes: “You’ve got to protect the unity of your church. If that means getting rid of troublemakers, do it.”

“As pastors, as shepherds of God’s people, it’s our job to protect our congregations from Satan’s greatest weapon – disunity,” he writes. “It’s not always easy, but it’s what we’ve been called to do.”

I may not be pastor of a mega-church, but, I’ve got to tell you, Rick Warren’s priorities and sensibilities and his biblical literacy and standards are upside-down, inside-out and twisted beyond anything remotely connected with Scripture. And I’m not afraid of his threats of ex-communication from the new papacy he apparently seeks to create.

Warren cites Paul’s advice in II Timothy 2:23-26 as the basis for when and how “pastors” should draw the line on disagreements among the flock. However, Paul was addressing Timothy not as a “pastor” or “priest,” but rather as an itinerant evangelist doing his utmost to spread the Gospel to non-believers.

“But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

    “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

“And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

That happens to be excellent advice for anyone attempting to evangelize unbelievers. It is not, however, a call for church “professionals” to declare themselves as founts of unlimited wisdom and infallibility in spiritual matters.

Likewise, he quotes from Titus 3:10-11 as the authority for getting rid of “troublemakers.” Yet, that Scripture is not referring to people contending for the faith. It is referring to heretics.

“A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.”

Has it ever occurred to Rick Warren that pastors have been wrong? Has it ever occurred to Rick Warren that pastors might teach unbiblical principles? Has it ever occurred to Rick Warren no earthly pastor is the recipient of all Divine revelation? Has it ever occurred to Rick Warren that pastors have led entire flocks into grave error that may have eternal consequences?

Has it ever occurred to Rick Warren that he, too, might be capable of such mistakes?

Rick Warren makes a spiritually fatal error when he proclaims, without any biblical authority, that Satan’s greatest weapon is disunity. That is simply not true. The Bible reveals over and over again that even one spirit-filled believer can stand up against Satan. God is not impressed with numbers. He doesn’t need numbers for victory. He doesn’t care about big churches. He doesn’t care about the cathedrals of men. He wants numbers only because He is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

No, Satan’s greatest weapon is hardly disunity. His greatest weapon since his fall and since the Garden of Eden has been deception. In fact, Satan loves unity – as long as those unified are knowingly or unknowingly serving him. He’d love for all of us to “go to hell in a handbasket.”

Are more people led to death by debate within the body of Christ or by spiritual leaders who demand absolute obedience to themselves?

Paul warned us about this, too, in Acts 20:29-30: “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

For heaven’s sake, nothing could be clearer from Scripture than that no man has a monopoly on truth. That is why Paul even had to correct Peter (Galatians 2:11-14). Besides worshipping God, this would seem to be one of the principal purposes of the church.

The church is warned over and over about false teachers throughout the Bible. Surely Rick Warren is familiar with those warnings. Why would he assume all pastors to be righteous and assume all lay dissenters to be unrighteous?

And, equally curious, why does Rick Warren eagerly seek to find common ground with Muslim leaders while, at the same time, so ruthlessly advocating the disfellowship of Christian believers?
