HE IS RISEN!!!!!!!! Today, marks the greatest historical event in human
history…the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The reason the resurrection of
Jesus is the greatest historical event is because it is the absolute key to
our faith. Paul said in his first letter to the church at Corinth in the
15th chapter, that if Christ did not rise from the dead, then we are still
dead in our sin and most vain of all. However, if He did rise from the dead,
then we have the assurance our sins are forgiven and of everlasting life.

You see, Jesus is either the biggest fraud in the history of mankind or He
is exactly who He claims to be…the Son of God. The resurrection is the key
event.

The historical evidence of Christ’s resurrection is irrefutable. The fact
that he died on a Roman cross, the claims of followers seeing the risen
Lord, evidence of the empty tomb, the inability of the Jewish leaders to
disprove the resurrection claims in the very city Jesus died and was buried,
and the radical transformation in the lives of His disciples are all well
documented. His disciples went from being normal men concerned only about
their own welfare from the night Jesus was arrested, to bold preachers who
were willing to die for their faith. You also have Jesus’ own predictions of
His resurrection as well as the fact that soon after was the birth of the
Christian church that started meeting on Sunday. That is significant since
these were monotheistic Jews who were used to worshipping on Saturday.

My friend, the Christian faith has never meant to be a blind leap in the
dark. God never asked His children to just believe without any evidence of
what we believe in. He has given us plenty of tangible historical evidence
to help us know without a doubt that what is in His inspired, inerrant Word
is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Absolute truth that you can stake your very life on.
Of course, once we get to the point we accept the resurrection as a fact,
and we accept His Word as TRUTH, it then demands that we totally and
unconditionally surrender our very life to Him.

That becomes the logical conclusion of this spiritual journey. Because you
see, it is not our life any longer, it belongs to Him. Our purpose is to
simply serve and glorify Him with our lives. I pray that on this day in
which we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, you will
recommit your life to Him. We can all do better. None of us have given it
ALL to Him…we can give Him more. Make this day the day that you realize
that Jesus rose from the dead, to insure that you will live for eternity
with Him if you have accepted Him into your heart and life by faith.

I love you and care about you so very much. I pray you have a wonderful
Resurrection Day. For those traveling to be with your family, you will be in
my prayers for a safe journey. May you be richly blessed as we stand
together to proclaim to this hurting and dying world that Jesus Christ is
the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings….HE IS RISEN!!!

Part Of Noah’s Ark Found In Turkey?

Dogubayazit (Turkey�s Iran-Armenian Border) � For the first time in the seven decade-long history of the search for the legendary Noah�s Ark, a Turkish-Hong Kong exploration team on Tuesday came out with �material evidence�, to prove that the Ark was nestled on Mount Ararat, Turkey�s highest mountain peak bordering Iran and Armenia.

A panel of experts, comprising Turkish authorities, veteran mountaineers, archaeologists, geologists and members of Hong Kong-based Noah�s Ark Ministries International, also displayed an almost one-metre-long peice of petrified wood before the media and specially invited international experts.

The experts claimed it to be a part of a long structure they had unearthed during their February-August 2007 exploration. �It is for the first time in the history of the Ark search that an exploration team is getting a material evidence and graphic documentation. This makes it not only a the significant breakthrough in the Ark-search, but one that is supported with the most substantial evidence in recent history,� the panel said.

The revelation is expected to open up a fresh chapter in the ongoing debates in the scientific community on the search for Noah�s Ark.

Narrating the genesis of their exploration on Mount Ararat, the mount which has a direct reference in Holy Quran (Mount Judi) and Bible, the panel said the search team had made several foiled attempts before unearthing the evidence at an altitude of 4,500-metres of the estimated 5,165 metre volcanic mountain.

�The structure was discovered in the interiors of an unusual cave. The 11.5m wide and 2.6m high white wooden texture was revealed after removing thick layers of volcanic ash on the cave wall,� panel members said at a press conference.

One of the underlying issues in the search for the Ark is the proper identification of its wood fragments. A petrographic examination carried out by the Applied Geoscience Centre of the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Hong Kong, identified the object as a petrified wooden structure, the panel said.

�Some of the big holes found on the structure indicate the locations where branches used to grow on tree. In places, original holes are partly or completely replaced by individual minerals and crystalline materials that can be found in rock materials,� said Dr Ahmet Ozbek, a panel member, who is also a faculty of Geology Engineering Kahramanmara Suctcu Imam University.

Dismissing the possibilities of the structure being wood that could appear naturally around the discovery site, Professor Oktay Belli, director, Eurasian Archaeology Institute, University of Istanbul, said researches have proved that there was no vegetation on Mount Ararat ever since 2000BC, because of the asperities of Ararat�s climate.

Talking to The Peninsula, Cemalettin Demircioglu, Dogubayazit City Governor, under whose jurisdiction the mount is located, said the civic body will invite more international experts to conduct further scientific studies on Mount Ararat.

�History has more than one times corroborated the legendary evidence that the ark was nestled on Mount Ararat. We will introduce the latest findings to the world and continue the scientific study. All interested scientists and NGOs can join our missions� he said. However, he said, those who are involved in the project must ensure the findings are not used politically, religiously, or for any vested interest.

Located in the Far Eastern Turkey, Ararat is great prize for mountain collectors. Ark sighting has often been reported from this mountain. The observation of Vessel-shaped features in aerial photograph of Ararat had caused a stir in the late 1950�s. However, this is the first time an exploration team is coming out with �material evidence�.

If man can successfully clone a creature from a speck of dust (DNA), how much more is it perfectly reasonable that God can resurrect (re-create) the dead from the ashes of their remains? Or for that matter, mutate a gene with the snap of His fingers?

(Copenhagen)—I once heard that it had been determined that all of the different human races, with their various skin and eye colors, could have genetically come from one race, the brown-skinned people of the Mideast. Whether that is true or not, news from the scientific community at the University of Copenhagen this week supports at least part of that theory, and while scientists try to explain the genetic mutation in terms of evolution, Christians know that God can mutate a gene with a snap of his fingers.

The press release reads: “New research shows that people with blue eyes have a single, common ancestor. A team at the University of Copenhagen has tracked down a genetic mutation which took place 6-10,000 years ago and is the cause of the eye color of all blue-eyed humans alive on the planet today.

“Originally, we all had brown eyes”, said Professor Eiberg from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine. ‘But a genetic mutation affecting the OCA2 gene in our chromosomes resulted in the creation of a “switch”, which literally “turned off” the ability to produce brown eyes’. The OCA2 gene codes for the so-called P protein, which is involved in the production of melanin, the pigment that gives color to our hair, eyes and skin. The “switch”, which is located in the gene adjacent to OCA2 does not, however, turn off the gene entirely, but rather limits its action to reducing the production of melanin in the iris – effectively “diluting” brown eyes to blue. The switch’s effect on OCA2 is very specific therefore. If the OCA2 gene had been completely destroyed or turned off, human beings would be without melanin in their hair, eyes or skin color—a condition known as albinism.

“Variation in the color of the eyes from brown to green can all be explained by the amount of melanin in the iris, but blue-eyed individuals only have a small degree of variation in the amount of melanin in their eyes. ‘From this we can conclude that all blue-eyed individuals are linked to the same ancestor,’ says Professor Eiberg. ‘They have all inherited the same switch at exactly the same spot in their DNA.’ Brown-eyed individuals, by contrast, have considerable individual variation in the area of their DNA that controls melanin production.

Professor Eiberg and his team examined mitochondrial DNA and compared the eye color of blue-eyed individuals in countries as diverse as Jordan, Denmark and Turkey. His findings are the latest in a decade of genetic research, which began in 1996, when Professor Eiberg first implicated the OCA2 gene as being responsible for eye color.

The mutation of brown eyes to blue represents neither a positive nor a negative mutation. It is one of several mutations such as hair color, baldness, freckles and beauty spots, which neither increases nor reduces a human’s chance of survival.

Is Jesus Only Oneness Pentecostalism Mormonism?

which says “God has a body that looks like yours, though His body is immortal, perfected, and has a glory beyond description“. Which is heresy, right? Well how do we know it is heresy? Because Jesus Christ said so in John 4:24: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” The Mormons deny it in their Doctrines and Covenants: D&C 93: 33. For man is ^aspirit. The elements are ^beternal, and ^cspirit and element, inseparably connected, receive a fulness of joy D&C 130: 22. The ^aFather has a ^bbody of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of ^cSpirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not ^ddwell in us. (Now you see why presidential candidate Mitt Romney refuses to expound on his beliefs.)

So what does this have to do with oneness pentecostals? Well, read this from The Resurrection Body of Christ the Lord Part I by John C. Whitcomb, Th.D. That is right, BODY. When the Word, Jesus Christ, became flesh, HE TOOK ON A BODY. And according to Dr. Whitcomb, HE STILL HAS IT! Says Dr. Whitcomb: When He ascended to heaven, He did not leave His human nature behind, for “in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Col. 2:9). He will be God and man (two distinct natures) in one Person—forever!

So oneness people, what are your options? This does not harm the Trinitarians, for when Jesus Christ told the Samaritan woman that God is a spirit, He was speaking of the Holy Spirit and Father portions. You can, I suppose, claim that Jesus Christ was speaking of a mode of existence or a relationship. The problem is that it breaks down when Jesus Christ returned to His Father in Heaven to sit on the Father in Heaven’s right hand. When that happened, unless you have Three In One and Three Are One, then it means that the Incarnate Jesus Christ is the same false god as the Mormon god of flesh and bone. (Incidentally, please realize that Mormons themselves say no different: see here Theology: LDS god is in harmony with the Bible!)

You can say that the problem is solved because Jesus Christ returned to spirit form after ascending into Heaven. But there are problems with that.

1. The Bible does not say that He does. That one is dedicated to all the oneness people who say “the word Trinity is never used in the Bible.” I will go further, where Trinity is not mentioned but clearly depicted in the Bible, at no point does the Bible depict that Jesus Christ left His earthly body behind.

2. Paul seeing Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus. Now Paul did not see a vision. Nor did he see a theophany (what those who saw God in the Old Testament saw). No, Paul saw the resurrected Jesus Christ in bodily form.

3. All the references to Jesus Christ being seated on the right hand of the Father. You can say that it is anthropomorphic, such as the reference to God walking in the Garden of Eden (another one that t
