John Hagee’s Church Exposed As Dealing Falsely With Unknown Tongues!

Undercover

I came across an article by Matt Taibbi in Rolling Stone magazine titled “Jesus made me puke”. Mr. Taibbi went undercover and joined John Hagee’s Cornerstone church and writes about a weekend retreat he attended. His account of the events that transpired at this meeting should be very disturbing to any discerning believer. Remember it is the heresy of men like Hagee that allows unbelievers to mock and expose these phonies and brings disgrace on the true body of Christ.

Mr. Taibbi spent several years in Russia and speaks Russian very fluently. When he went forward to receive tongues, he spoke the verse of a Russian love song and impressed his teachers. The lack of discernment in the Hagee crowd for this impostor should speaks volumes to you followers.

My note: Even if you make the case that unknown tongues are for today, it is clear that whatever is being spoken in John Hagee’s church is not of God. By their fruits shall you know them …

Hey, I’m an atheist, but here is where you and I agree, and here is where I will give you kudos. Instead of focusing your attention as so many do on fighting “Atheists” you are actively working to “clean the inside of the cup”. Fake Christians are exponentially more damaging to Christianity than atheists.

Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch, John Hagee, TD Jakes, Joyce Meyer, etc…

Hey I just noticed something, aren’t they all millionaires as well? Hmmmmmm. Makes ya wonder.

Actually Joyce Meyer isn’t a millionaire. She makes $250 K per year. Which I think is reasonable since her ministry brings in about $30 million in revenue. She is not poor, but who are you to judge people that have worked hard to build a big ministry? She also heavily supports missions efforts and the costs of being on television isn’t cheap either. You sound really cynical, but it’s not fair to say that everyone who is a TV preacher is corrupt. That’s simply not fair and not true. You also discount the good that is done by focusing on salaries. Joyce Meyer I can tell you as a fact is very transparent with her expenditures and distributes annual reports to all those who support her ministry.
      Sincerely

Any indepth comment regarding the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is of course out of the question, but one needs to be aware that churches that function in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the best sources total over 500,000,000 people. We are currently the largest non-Catholic tradition and even within Roman Catholicsm sources state that are supposedly around 13% of its adherents who also speak in tongues (They are commonly referred to as being Catholic Charismatics).
As you can appreciate when someone from a magazine goes in under cover then we can all presume that the article was essentially written before he even attended the camp.

I am very concerned about all these televangelist preaching and teaching false doctrine. I think the worst of the lot and the most damaging to the Body of Christ is Kenneth Copeland. Having said that, I think it is a dangerous thing to mock the Holy Spirit as Mr. Taibbi has done. You don’t need to go to such extremes to prove these people wrong. Just look at what they are teaching and doing and compare it to Scripture. I want all of you to know that Pentecost and the Pentecostal experience is real and is of God. It seems that everything these false teachers and prophets do comes down to blaming it on people who speak in tongues. That, quite simply, is not right.

What concerns me is how the present state of Israel came into existance with so much of blood she, because is contrary to what GOD spoke at the time of Elijah that he would not bring about a country for the Israeli’s with blood shed. Furthermore regarding the six million Jews said to have perished during the reign of hitler, assuming they had not perished, would there have been space for them to settle in present day Israel? Another question is that in Revelation Christ speaks of
Jews, who call themselves Jews, but are not. Of whom does he refer this to. Moreover only he has the key to David, that which door he opens cannot be shut & vice versa. By this is he not stating that only he knows the “Line of the Israel”. By taking all this into account I wonder why I wonder why people like Haggi go all out to lick their feet. Is it not that it is GOD who makes Israel & not Israel which makes

The real answer that God wants us to know is that we have to test the spirits that are presented to us, if there is a speaking in tongues. As in the 1st Corinthians passage below, there must be an INTERPRETATION of spirits in order to validate this type of worship.

There are many false spirits that attempt to pollute and distract proper doctrine, that we are commanded to put on the full armor of God so we can withstand this attack. Also, the bible mentions your weapon should be the sword of God, which is His word, the Bible. Do these things, and you’ll do well and be at peace. And most of all: Believe in what Jesus did, and be saved by Him. He will baptize you with His Spirit. This is the true baptism of the Holy Spirit, as he has promised He would send you His helper.

Note: Anytime a person attempts to preach the Gospel, the foundation will, not should, be the Bible. Always hold your pastors and teachers to the test by comparing what they say to the Bible. This satisfies the testing of the spirits.

    1 Corinthians 12:9-11 (New International Version, ©2010)
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Ephesians 6:11-13 (New International Version, ©2010)
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
