    Job,

    The original KJV contained the book of Enoch. In the New Testament Jesus quotes the Book of Enoch in Jude. Let me say this again. Jesus who is the Son of God the 2nd member of the Trinity coequal to the Father quoted the Book of Enoch in Jude. Is God a liar? Would God reject this book like the “so-called” men who rejected it? Is God naive and mankind smarter. Why would God (The Son) quote this scripture if it were not true? The Nephalim are well documented. I’m going to pause here and let you expound upon this and see if we are on the same page.

    Okay, first of all, God does not quote the Bool of Enoch as you have wrongfully built your entire primise. The Bool of Jude make reference to Enoch the person, not the book. Thats a catholic sly of hand the same as much of their doctrine. For your edification: God also reference Enoch’s son and father and they are not Bublical books either.

    Jude is regarded as having quoted the Book of Enoch and the Assumption of Moses (which we no longer have a copy of). See my reply to Kyle below.

    I do not buy the notion that because people inspired by the Holy Spirit quoted sources that the sources themselves are inspired. For instance, the writers of the Proverbs quoted writings from the Egyptians (a fact that the atheists and theological liberals LOVE to use against us Biblical Christians). Many evangelicals allege that nephilim were the children of the line of Cain (the sons of men) and the line of Seth (the sons of God). That would be easy to believe were it not for the literal construction of the passage in Genesis 6: it honestly does seem that the “giants in the land” were a direct result of the coupling. But of course, said evangelicals claim that “giants” is a reference to kings, rulers, etc. And then there is the reference to nephilim again regarding Noah’s ark in Numbers … the only two times they appear in the Bible according to Strong’s Concordance. I personally find the whole topic strange. And you going to get me your email address?

    Jude 14-15

    “And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him”

    Enoch 1:9

    And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
    To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly
    And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

    Why would Jude quote Enoch as actually saying this? Also, if in Jude (Inspired) why would Jude quote a prophecy of Christ? Well, either the Prophecy is true and inspired or the book of Jude is false.

    Clement of Alexandria,Tertullian,Irenaeus,and Origin either believed this book to be inspired or at least quoted it. BTW I’m not endorsing these early Church fathers I’m just using this as a point of reference.

    As for my opinion I stated in the first thread, “I’m going to pause here and let you expound upon this and see if we are on the same page”

    I’m not endorsing the entire book but rather showing the one quote that can be cross referenced to Jude. Also, I’m attempting to show just how evil these Nephalim were. We oftentimes sugar coat the level of evil and the level of Satans intervention during mans early existance pre-flood. A

    Also, if their is a modicum of truth in Enoch as we can see in the Inspired book Jude than what other things may be true?

    I believe everything that is in the Book of Jude. I just do not believe everything in the Book of Enoch! That is a reasonable position to take IMHO. And until I learn Hebrew (very difficult, no vowels!) I am going to have to accept the literal English translation of Genesis 6:1-5, which does say that fallen angels somehow copulated with human women to produce Nephilim. And then there is that even stranger reference in Numbers … I will view your videos though.

    Read the ancient summerian text and and things will come into focus. I am a christian, and have done much reading on the subject. the nephilim were real. They are as desribed in the bible. modern christians need to come to terms with these beings, as they will soon return as in the days of noah.
