From the article:
From the Bible:
Matthew 23:4-15 (King James Version)
He’s EVERYTHING Christ warned about and he really does like the nice seat in the synagogues.

IC:
To me this just proves that the guy did not receive his call to ministry from God. Where evangelical Protestants at least pretend that a preacher has to be called by God in order to be legitimate, Roman Catholics sincerely believe that their church makes people preachers.
April 18, 2008 at 5:37 pm
Well we see their going against 1 Timothy 3 and forcing celibacy with men who are burning with passions didn’t work out. They’ve made a mass of pedophiles that had a secure job for a long time. If they tried the husband of one wife standard that might not have been such an issue for them. But who am I fooling, it’s not like Roman Catholics see the Bible as the final authority.
April 18, 2008 at 5:56 pm
Well, from a purely carnal, fleshy, and practical standpoint being a cult leader must be one of the best jobs in the world. And if you can land the job as the leader of the biggest, wealthiest, and most powerful cult on the planet, hey, what’s a worldling to do? Grab it and growl of course!
Assuming one had no fear of God nor the eternal torments awaiting in the afterlife I suspect being the Pope would be a swell gig.
April 18, 2008 at 8:48 pm
Fellow saints, today antichrist Benedict XVI took about the biggest slap against the Christian faith that a man could take. On what is the real Good Friday (Friday before Passover), he stood in the assembly of those who deny our Lord, rejected Him and he said nothing to them resembling a message of salvation in Christ Jesus. He partook in their meeting on the day of our Lord’s crucifixion AND THIS IS THE 2nd TIME HE’S DONE IT! He did it before in 2005.
Here are the details of what antichrist Benedict said.
April 19, 2008 at 7:10 pm
I swear, the first time I saw Ratzinger in the papal robes, that leering grin and piercing gaze dominating his face, I said to myself, So, this is what the Anti-Christ looks like. Truly, truly scary.
April 19, 2008 at 7:21 pm
If you want to see scary, take a look at this picture!
April 19, 2008 at 7:27 pm
Yep! Thats scarey, really, and when you think about that song…..I wonder if GW and Condi have an other than gov’t relationship with satan, I mean the pope?
April 19, 2008 at 8:53 pm
Oh. My. Goodness.
IC, I’m not kidding: That picture of Pope Benny with the Wicked Witch of the West (Nancy Pelosi) kissing his ring sends chills down my spine.
April 19, 2008 at 9:12 pm
Greetings,
Hope you are well.
Looking at the picture see the look of glee on Condi’s face. Who is the man in the background on the right?
Love,
John

Hi John,
I’ve got a breakdown of the players in that picture including who I am fairly certain is on the edge of the picture (John Boehner) in my post at: Is Your Pastor Going to Suck Up to antichrist Benedict XVI? I also break down what each of them claims to be there.

The thing that really disgusts me about Catholicism and its adherents is the fact that when some speak out against this heretical faith based system some followers get angry and treatthe “attack” as if it is racism or some similar disparity. I don’t like it when people slander Jesus and the Bible. But the key word is “slander” those speak out against Jesus and the Bible lie or make erroneus statements. But usually when men of the true faith (in Jesus) speak out about the Roman Catholic cult they are seen and labeled as bigots by some even though they are saying the truth.
April 20, 2008 at 7:53 pm
Excuse the various grammatical errors

Here is the revised edition:
The thing that really disgusts me about Catholicism and its adherents is the fact that when some speak out against this heretical faith-based system some followers get angry and treat the “attack” as if it is racism or some similar disparity. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t like it when people slander Jesus and the Bible. But the key word is “slander” those who speak out against Jesus and the Bible are lying or making erroneus statements. But usually when men, of the true faith (in Jesus), speak out about the Roman Catholic cult they are seen and labeled as bigots by some even though they are saying the truth. That is disgusting.

Hey Job (or anyone that can answer)…
Do you think it is bad to call your dad “father?”
If man wishes to be called “Rabbi” is he in apostasy?
April 20, 2008 at 8:55 pm
Jonathan De Leon:
The words of Jesus Christ in this matter should be taken in the context that they were given. In that context, the Jews had started associating spiritual virtue or elevation with certain positions and titles. Calling a person by a certain title had become a way of worship or veneration, not only elevating one man above another, but directing praise that should go to only God to man, worshiping the creature rather than the creator. Roman Catholicism is based ENTIRELY on venerating human beings and institutions in the place of the Triune Godhead. Of course, Protestants indulge in this same sort of foolishness.
April 20, 2008 at 9:03 pm
Jonathan,
You are slandering the Catholic Church and are speaking out against Jesus and the Bible. Read Matthew 16:18-20. Pay particular attention to verse 19. Most Protestant Bible scholars will admit that the Catholic interpretation of these passages is correct. Have you read any CATHOLIC sources that explain the papacy or other doctrines that you find so heretical?
May our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who is Truth, lead you into all truth.

Roman Catholic Tradition is a cult!
Roman Catholicism Versus The Bible. As Always, Bible Wins! (*Updated*)
How come Roman Catholics never mention that Jesus turned to Peter and said “SATAN” after using the term “rock”, Matthew 16:22-23?
Obviously the rock is in the truth of knowing Jesus is the Christ.
If Pam wants to know the real deal, she can always read something like Once there was a Pope named Peter?
April 20, 2008 at 9:38 pm
Hey I.C. awesome reply. Pam may Jesus the true God and Savior lead You into the truth. Roman Catholicism is and apostate church. Sadly many fall into this doctrine out of love of tradition and fear of the truth because it is foreign to them.
April 20, 2008 at 9:40 pm
Jesus Christ founded His true universal church upon the truth that He is Messiah, not on sinful Peter.
April 21, 2008 at 4:53 pm
Still no comment on Matthew 16:19. What did Jesus mean? It was clear from the pronoun “you” which he used several times that Jesus was talking to a living person not some statement. If the Bible is the sole rule of authority, why is it that you don’t believe what Jesus said? Can you show me where in the Bible it states “Bible Alone”- not just Scripture is good, but ONLY scripture. If the Catholic Church was man made and man inspired, do you think it would have lasted 2,000 years? especially with all her persecutions and scandals and failures which I’m sure you must know about. Read about the early church through the Early Church Fathers’ writings and you WILL see that it looked like the Catholic Church. Sola Scriptura is not scriptural, but your tradition leaves you to believe otherwise. Yours are man made(Luther) traditions of Faith Alone and Bible Alone. You cannot conceive of the beauty of the real church because you’ve been indoctrinated with false teachings about her.
Yours truly,
Pam

Where did Jesus say I had to follow the Cult of Mary?
You’ve been presented plenty you have not taken time to consider.
You find me a verse that says follow the man in the funny clown suit and then perhaps someone will listen to you.
Several religions have been around a long time and see growth. You’re obviously a proponent of Universalism and feel they are all from God since they all have existed a long time and are growing in numbers. Even atheism is claiming growth and claims there is no God are almost as old as humanity. Even before the great flood there were atheists and they are still around today. Using the logic of Pam atheism is of God. It’s been around longer than the popes.
The current RCC scandal is that they have a lady named Pam so deceived she’d actually attempt to defend the cult on a public blog.
Church history shows your kind have been a cult even in church history, William and Augustine.
Pam, your antichrist pimp has made it known he got into pimping you for the love of material things. You’re about as bad as a street prostitute who defends her pimp after he takes all the money she made for the night. Then he flies off in a jumbo jet and you cheer his name, only wishing he had visited your house so you could kiss his ring. Be sure to give that pimp you call “Father” your money.
April 21, 2008 at 10:08 pm
Independent conservative,
Wow!! I see you are very good at attacking my faith, the pope and even myself personally in a most uncharitable way. I guess you must be following the Holy Spirit as He guides you into all truth. Maybe I should consider leaving the Church so I too can become one so holy as you….on second thought, maybe not. It is clear that you did not want to address any of my questions or concerns in my last post. Perhaps I struck a nerve. No matter, I’ll turn the other cheek and continue to pray for you and others that spew hate and deceit.
With warm regards,
Pam

Pam
I have a problem conecting the below verses with anything that have to do exclusively or specifically with Catholic as being the sole denomination of Christ,e.g., The ONLY Church. Such an interpretation only feeds into false doctrine of which I’ve seen more than enough on these pages. Is there another scripture perhaps stating with clarity what the mostbase of catholic would have others believe?
“I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Charles D:
It is convoluted and abiblical. Consider, after all, why it is the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. Never mind the fact that the first church was in JERUSALEM. The Roman Catholics COMPLETELY IGNORE that the first church was established in Jerusalem. Or that at the ACTUAL first ecumenical council, the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15, Peter was not running the show. Or that Rome was not even the SECOND church to be established … Acts records that Antioch was. Rome may not have even been the THIRD or the FOURTH church established.
So the whole basis of this “Peter started the church of Rome and apostolic succession proceeded from there through the bishop of Rome” … a doctrine which did not exist until the 6th century AND EVERY OTHER CHURCH OPPOSED IT WHEN IT WAS CREATED … to justify it they began to declare HUNDREDS OF YEARS AFTER THE FACT that God moved the location of the holy city from Jerusalem to Rome. I even saw a Protestant preaching this nonsense. Except that he had no scriptures recording this happening (because scripture does not record it, and neither does it prophesy it … Revelation speaks of sites in and around Jerusalem and Rome is only mentioned allegorically not as the holy city but as THE HARLOT … the beast with the seven horns that the great harlot rode upon … the seven horns are often regarded as a reference to the seven hills of Rome!), so he claimed that the call and desire that Paul felt to turn west rather than east in Acts was “the beginning of the process of God moving the holy city from Jerusalem to Rome.”
It is interesting that the Byzantine Church NEVER AGREED TO THIS. In 1054, the Byzantine Church was still part of the Catholic Church, and they NEVER ACCEPTED the doctrine that the church was built on Peter, nor did they accept that the holy city was now Rome, nor did they accept the primacy of the pope. The Roman Catholics are only able to successfully assert these doctrines by rewriting history, and were the Byzantine Church still a part of the Catholic Church, they would have been able to oppose this nonsense with, you know, the truth.
So it is not just the matter of Roman Catholics casting aside the account of Acts, it is also their casting aside recorded human history, where one purposefully misinterpreted verse is used to justify political events that happened not only 600 years after the church was founded, but even 300 years after Constantine created the Catholic Church! At some point, you have to start asking yourself precisely who allows these lies to implant themselves by not talking about actual history, or even allowing the various non - Roman ancient church bodies (i.e. the Ethiopian Church, the Coptic Church, the Armenian Church, the Eastern Orthodox Churches) have their say. You would think that in a nation dominated by PROTESTANTS that such a thing would happen. But I suppose that since the Vatican is a key player in the new world order (are you starting to believe in that now Charles, you have declared yourself noncomittal regarding such matters before!) then allowing a version of history that plainly contradicts the Bible and actually recorded events to be accepted in our mainstream society suits the globalists whether they are Roman Catholic or not. After all, these folks ABSOLUTELY LOVE how the Vatican has been prodding America to approve global warming legislation and amnesty for illegal immigrants, and how America has basically given them everything they wanted.

Job
The thing that gets me about their assertions, in terms of St. Peter’s part in the catholic faith, includes their escalation of Peter who became a saint after this life by the way, but they flat out refuse to immulate Peter’s example of not feeling worthy to die the same as Christ, therefore he was crucified upside down. The pope should be so reflective. But then, how could he with all of the 2+ billion always telling him that he’s so “special.”
They have also disallowed or have lost sight of”

Cult member named Pam,
You mean you’ll continue in delusion because you’d rather serve a man who has affirmed that he does it for greed rather than serve God in truth.
You desire someone re-address your hack of scripture, while you do nothing to address any of the responses and you are incapable of doing so. Because you can’t rightly divide scripture to justify that mess you’re promoting.
When Satan tempted Christ He was able to refute Satan with scripture, yet you desire we not stand on scripture alone.
Benedict, that old viper bastard, he goes into a meeting of Jews and can’t tell them to embrace Christ. We see the false apostle is all about “interfaith relations” while real apostles kept preaching Jesus even when it was not desired to be heard.
Nope Pam, you don’t want to be like me, I’m too offensive… You like pleasure of people thinking well of you. The narrow way is not for you. You can stay with that OLD DIRTY BASTARD NAMED BENEDICT!
April 22, 2008 at 4:40 pm
I don’t like pleasure of people thinking well of me, but I know my Savior reads my every thought and listens to me as I speak hatefully of others. I feel shame for offending God and for hurting others. I do want others to look at my life and want to become a Christian because of my example. What I don’t want is someone to look at my behavior and say “If that’s what being a Christian is about, then I want no part of it” It’s wonderful to think of how the early church converted the Romans… by their love. But I guess I’m trapped in, you know, what the Bible teaches. Or perhaps Martin Luther didn’t put that book back in your Bible. I’m referring to James 2:14 and following. Also our Lord and Savior Himself is quoted in Matthew 25:31 and following about being judged by our actions. The point is that you have some pretty skewed views of history and Bible interpretations yourself and it really does no good slinging mud at each other. I will continue to pray for blogs like this one.
P.S. I think the “material things” you’re referring to was when the Pope was 5 years old and saw a Cardinal and was impressed by the fancy car and the way the Cardinal looked. I don’t believe he entered the priesthood to become rich, but your mind is made up and have no intention of being open to anything this little “prostitute” might say. I’ll be signing off and hope you have a good life. May God bless you and guide you and protect you.

Which includes your desire they follow the pimp viper noted above.
Charles, does this Pam sound like an RCC version of Stephie Lynn or what?
She claims his antichristness Benedict XVI is no longer about the money, but brother check this out! Pope Wears Prada, And Italy’s Abuzz - Benedict Emerges as Virtual Fashion Celeb

I will note, that Karl passing up threads like these is the smartest thing we’ve ever seen of him, but even he will admit Benedict is no good!
