First of all, it appears that Benny Hinn almost physically pushes some of these people over half the time. My second point is, it would seem that most of the "slain", after being lowered to the stage floor by the "catchers", are just lying there waiting for someone to pick them back up. If someone were truly "hit" by the power of God, with the "force" that Hinn implies they are "hit" with, they wouldn't be merely lying there, fully conscious of their surroundings. How can someone be literally "knocked off their feet" by the power of God and then get up and talk to Benny as if nothing even happened?? Endorphins are marvelous things, aren't they??? Now, if you want to take this subject to the level of someone waving their hand and knocking over half the audience or the entire choir section, then you have now definitely reached the point where Hinn's "technique" is not simply heretical, it is`absolutely ludacris........... It gave this story of a Hindu convert to Christianity when asked if he wanted to go to this church that speaks in tongues, and he replied "if I wanted to see speaking in tongues, I could go to any Hindu temple." THAT was a powerful reply. Now I do understand and believe that there are a lot of folks out there with the ability to speak in tongues and prophecy and things of that nature, but I honestly believe that Satan has tricked a lot of these people to stop reading the Bible and to instead focus on their "gifts." "Joseph Smith will NOT be at judgment. Smith will NOT be sitting next to Jesus and Joseph Smith does not approve anyone for entry." They claim that too? Wow, this stuff is making my head spin. I think that I might have to leave this Mormon stuff alone. This is why sound doctrine is most important. Of course the snake God made for Moses was mightiest, but Pharaoh's boys could make snakes too.
